Gambit's powers, from my understanding, are where he charge the card/objects (in the cartoon anything could be charged) then it had a set timer before it exploded. Sometimes it exploded on impact. His powers are also gained from being a mutant, someone born with it, which how your PC got his powers might differ. Was he exposed to radiation, dowses in chemicals during an accident, OD on a street drug that gifts powers, or something else? As Dedonus stated, just because you have the same powers doesn't make them a carbon copy. Racheli would've been considered a carbon copy of Magneto then if that was the case.

Another suggestion is take a look at the way others have done theirs. You'll be able to pick out the influences, similarities to other heroes/villians/etc in comics but also how they differ. That's my best advice.

Reminder of the option voted most popular: A. Villains teleport Rach away, barely getting away in the nick and store her away until Gene co arrives. This can allow the Heroes to seek out the villains, then form a plan then try to rescue her for a second round while also fighting against Gene Co baddies.

With the voting over, and the option chosen, is there anything anyone would like to see happen? Personally I made my desire to have Rach interact and possible cause some hell known, which can easily be done with any of the options. I also know fdeviant made a suggestion which Hero and Nyte might want to comment on that. In case you two missed it, here it is again.

OOHHH, idea! Marie's only involved because she needs Joseph for a Pax thing. Once Racheli gets teleported away (assuming option A), she's out and headed back to The Red Devil with Joseph in order to perform their spell. My idea is that all of the heroes could accompany them, or a couple, back to the tavern where they could launch a magical search for her. This lets Marie get back to Pax, keeps Joseph involved, and gives The Red Devil more exposure cause why not? Lol

Alright... I got some shitty news. I'm required to be move out by Monday, so things might get dicey for a bit. I'm currently unsure of things but I believe I got a place to stay. I will know more Sunday at latest, as I think I have a place to go, though if I do vanish then put Vellios on ice until farther notice.

There's a link to a map with numerous cities that were last decided. Though I will mention that Grant City is owned by Gowie, so you will have to pm or ask him if you can use the city. As well as check anything massive against him. Dedonus owns Pacific Point while NMS is adding another city near Lost Haven.

Chaos, technically, is going to happen either way with option A, B or C really, at least in my mind. Namely as honestly Odette's Luck Sapper will mess everyone but herself and allies up. :p Personally, A would be more chaotic due to the number of players involved on both sides and even with the updating/preparation, they don't know Gene Co is coming to retrieve Racheli so they have no idea of when/who these uniformed soldiers will be that come popping out of what seems to be nowhere. Gabe might be able to guess when he sees them, at best, but still be confused as why they used another method.

NSA might be able to take one or two more players (seeing as we might be losing one or two from our original number), but I want to see the thoughts/feelings from the other players who were there first before I make a final choice. Namely as they might've seen issues, or something else, I don't currently due to my big, silly little heart.

Yep, for S2 the GMs aim to start a whole another thread with an alternate account that all three can can use to make edits to the OP, this way they aren't dependent on one person for all the changes and such. It makes things rather easier.

(Side note, back to that tavern idea, that might also allow WW and Joseph to get up to speed in regards to Rach rather than doing it during the kidnapping)

BTW, @nitemare shape, @Dedonus and @Hound55 I think it might ideal if you do a roll call for S2 off and on to make sure people are still interested and waiting for Season 2. This way they know you've not really forgotten in the midst of the wait.

In addition, I honestly would like to brain storm plots/connections/story stuff with Ben, who's going to be in NY, for anyone interested to encounter my second PC in season 2. Namely as I enjoy the conversation and feel it might keep people involved as well as have a firm, solid stance on what's coming up.

That's one option. Right now there's only Icarus and Hydro who are the heroes in this case, and Rach's allies, so they wouldn't be hauling too many back with them. As for exposure, this might allow Icarus and Hydro an ally in the realm of magic though this really up to Hero and Nyte if they want to do this. Personally, I like the idea because that means they can visit her and Joseph more often and know where to find them. As well as they would be serious out of place in the tavern. :p
