They call it science "fiction" when there are currently more planets inhabited by robots than planets inhabited by humans.

If you're ever lonely, dim all the lights and put on a horror movie. After a while, it won’t feel like you're alone anymore. Problem solved.

Inner Demons? Pssh, more like Outer Demons.

The war between Heaven and Hell has been going on for an eternity. Ever since the Demons broke away from God's domain and formed their own, they have been pursued by the Angelic Army to no end. The Demons, lead by the 7 Demon Generals, each personifying a different one of the Seven Deadly Sins, were losing ground quickly. More and more of Hell seemed to be falling to the relentless pursuit of God and the Angels. In fear for their life, they hid themselves away. God, knowing they were not gone but were not to return for a while, put them aside and began focusing on his new pet project: making the Earth.

The Demons saw the new Earth as new land for Hell. The 7 Demon Generals infiltrated the Garden of Eden, home to the two humans, Adam and Eve, and convinced them to take the Devil Fruit. God soon banished Adam and Eve from the Garden forever, but the fight was not yet over. The Demons continued to plague Earth with war and violence. Eventually, seeing the damage they had caused, God did something drastic- he sent his only son down from heaven to Earth. He sacrificed themselves to clean them from sin. Then, God sent his many angels down upon the Demon Generals, pushing them back and eventually capturing them.

God looked at his captives. What would he do- send them to Hell? He knew that was their domain. Destroy them forever? Despite their crimes, God was not that type of man/deity. He still felt a vein of goodness deep within their hearts. So, he reached a final decision: both punishment and a chance for redemption. All of the seven would be sent down to Earth, the world they almost destroyed, in the form of human teens. They would be dropped into the city of Bellmonte, and they would have to survive there, now students at a local academy. If they changed their ways, they could return to govern Hell as a land for the wicked. If not, they would be stranded on Earth forever and would eventually die. God, happy with his plan, sent them down.

The Demons, now into human form, were rather angry (or perhaps excited, who knows) about their new forms and locations, but they soon found their was one tiny oversight to God's plan:

He had forgotten to take away their magic.

Very loosely based off of The Devil is a Part-Timer and Seven Deadly Sins. This is not religious satire: anything offensive is not intentional.

So, if you read up to here, I guess that means you're still interested? Good. Hold on there, only a little more reading to go.

There will be exactly 7 characters in this RP, each one representing a different sin in the Seven Deadly Sins (wrath, greed, lust, sloth, envy, gluttony, pride). Each one will have magic abilities, slightly correlating to their sin (i.e. wrath has fire because hothead and that stuff). They will be in the fictional American city of Bellmonte, and be in teenage forms of around 14-18. They will be attending an academy that is still a work in progress in the name department, which is a normal boarding school type place. While there will be a plotline, I'm giving you a lot of room to work with. You can control NPCs to a certain degree, and make your own little side things, I don't really care.

Any questions, you can ask here. Right now, if you want to join, claim your spot:

Wrath
Grrr! Wrath should be a a hothead: easily angered, tough guy, all that.
@Inner Demon

Sloth
Sloth doesn't have to be dozing off every 2 seconds, but are generally more lazy than the rest and are procrastinators.
@Spanner

Pride
Pride is very confident, but also very overbearing and arrogant. As such, they'd probably assume a leadership possition.

Envy
Envy is a very jealous type and doesn't like seeing others top them. Very competitive, but also spiteful.

Greed
Greed wants everything. Kleptomaniacal and posssesive. If they see something they don't have, you'll be damned that they're going to try and get it.
@Duoya

Gluttony
Gluttony and Greed can get confusing sometimes. The difference is: Greed wants everything, Gluttony overdoes something. That can be eating, but I like to think of it as drinking. However you interpret it.
@shagranoz

Lust
Lust is promiscuos and flirtatious. They want love and attempt to seek it at all times. They're cunning and not unwilling to use their charms to get things they want.
@jynmi88

All you guys feel free to claim one. at max 2. I'll drop the thread when we get all the spots filled up. I'll take the leftover, it doesn't really matter.

Hopefully you're interested, lol.
No, post it here. I'll accept it here, then you can re-post it in the Characters tab.

The world looked good in the year 2030. Terrorism had faded from the public eye. The economy was going strong. Eco-friendly yet potent fuel sources had emerged, and all the pollution and climate change issues had all subsided. It seemed that everything was going to be smooth from then on out.

Then, one man changed all that. The man's name was Gavin Webster, founder and CEO of MegaCorp, a company that produced almost everything in the world, from weaponry to fuel to household goods. Webster began lobbying for the creation of One World, a system where everything in the world was run by an elected council. Webster said that there was no point in countries- people were people, and all of humankind should be represented by one group. The idea, which in years past had seemed ridiculous, was now gaining traction due to Webster's support. A short 3 years after Webster announced his support for the One World system, the vote for it passed by a large margin.

The council was soon formed, and Webster was appointed chairman. Things went the way they should've. However, Webster had bigger plans. Step 1 was to be put into this position of power. The second step of his plan was to eliminate competition, in one way or another, from the council. That quickly occured, with Webster using bribery to convince some to change to his views, blackmail when money and affluence failed to do so, and a bullet when they were being resilient. Soon, the entire council was at Webster's beck and call.

Webster, who the public saw as a shrewd, innovative businessman as well as a compassionate humanitarian, then began to issue orders that slowly allowed him to get a further grip on the world. One World quickly gained access to survaillance information, private details, phone records, and more, while secretly molding the police into hyper-loyal soldiers who will die for One World. Before the people could realize that One World was starting to control them, they were already under control.

The public was quickly placed under total control of the government. Every action was seen by the government, and the ones that even remotely threatened individual freedom were reacted to by the One Police, who had become nothing more than robots, controlled by One World. Misinformation was given to the public, in an attempt to keep them satisfied.

Almost everybody was kept under the control of One World, but there is still hope for individualism and freedom. A man, now known only as the Director, somehow managed to escape One World's grasp before the tyrannical government activated, and succesful erase himself from their data. From there, he formed Agency X, a small group dedicated to take down One World and restore freedom. Agency X has succesfully kept themselves free from One World with the help of the Augmentator, a machine that (painfully) can upgrade a person and give them 'superpowers.' Certain Augments can turn a person's skin into titanium, and other Augments can give a person telepathy. These superpowered people are Agency X's main strength, for One World is still yet to discover how the Agency does such things.

With a surplus of new Agents in recent years, the Director has decided that it is time to strike and finish One World. If the Agency wins, then freedom can be restored. But if they lose...

One World

One World is the government that controls the entire globe. Run by a council of 6 members, with one appointed Chairman, the leader. While One World is supposed to be composed of elected officials that represent the people, Gavin Webster's intervention has turned it into a oppressive regime that controls every aspect of the world.

One Police

One Police is the international police force. One Police members are trained by professionals to be experts in hand-to-hand combat and marksmanship. They are all molded to be loyal to One World, to the point of sacrifice. They receive chemical medicine to increase their metabolism and make them more resistant to pain. A subdivision, called One Task Force, are deployed for major threats. They each receive a dosage of a 'super soldier serum,' causing them to be stronger and faster than average men (think Deathstroke, not Captain America. If you know what I mean.) Lastly, One Guardians are the best of the best, receiving microchips with unlimited amounts of combat information. They are deployed solely to protect the council of train One Police.

Agency X

Agency X is the only organized group that exists to combat One World. Headed by a man known only as the Director, Agency X's agents are deployed to fight One World in any way possible, whether it is incapitating One Police, stealing valuable data, or what have you. Agency X is also reknowned for giving certain agents Augments (explained below), which give them a variety of superhuman abilities.

Augmentator

The Augmentator is a device, appearing as a surgical table, that can grant those who are operated on superhuman powers. Whether it be pyrokinesis, enhanced speed, or truth detecting, these upgrades, called Augments, can give any person an edge against their opponents. Agency X is the only ones to obtain this device: One World is still attempting to replicate it, to no avail.

The Golden Dove

A massive ship made of pure gold, this boat is the headquarters of One World. The council decided that their headquarters, previously located in Berlin, Germany, was too suspectable to attack, and opted for a mobile location. The Golden Dove is where the council meets. It is undetectable by radar of any kind, is also the headquarters of One Guardians, the most skilled combatants on Earth, and, despite it bearing the name of the bird of peace, is home to a large variety of weapons. Infiltrating the Golden Dove is a prime target for Agency X.

God, it's been forever since I've played Undertale.

Not sure if I'm going to stay around for this, but I'll definitely consider it.

Hey. This is an idea that I had on a whim. Partially inspired by George Orwell's famous book 1984. Great book, great read.

Any interest you have is good, obviously. Input, ideas, everything is appreciated.

I'm not the kind of guy to restrict creativity, please make sure you fly ideas that might be a bit 'out there' by me first before going for it. We have spots for Agents in the Agency with AND without Augments, as well as members of all One Police branches and even in the council, heck.

Questions about the lore? Just ask. It is long and stuff after all.
