Hohenheim, The Alchemist of Genesis
Finale

And so the arduous crawl through the labyrinthine halls of the Alchemist's castle comes to an end. Even though the cost was high for some, Hohenheim's sadistic thirst for knowledge had been settled for the time being.

As a sign of the Alchemist's good will, a boon would be granted to the representatives of the former Triumvirate, as well as to the Valiant Angels of Heaven, who were literally guided by the hand of Fate through all the hardships. However, only those who completed the challenge would be awarded as such, for those few who failed to heed Hohenheim's words, a long time of being played as her new test subjects would serve as a remainder to not do so again in the future.

With all said and done, some would return home to lick their wounds and some to sing praises. The important part was that for the time being everyone would be able to bask in some much needed reprieve.

Rhea Heimlich
Timber Moren

The fact that the reply from the Tin Dragons was left under a coffee tin didn't passed unnoticed by mind of one certain quaintly dressed young woman named Rhea Heimlich. In fact, she was still smirking as she stepped through the Dropgate that would lead her to the quaint settlement known as Timber Moren. It was truly a lovely place with all that one would expect of a community that grew around lumbering and hunting.

"Ara, isn't this a warm reception?" Rhea replied to the Gatekeeper as she drew one of the cookies the woman offered so eagerly.

"Such a shame I do have the time to brew a fitting drink to compliment such a lovely treat," Rhea said, looking over her shoulder to a handcart that had a medium trunk loaded with a couple spare changes of clothes, some books, a small variety of potted coffee grains as well as other brewing utensils and implements. Along with it the larger trunk there was also a waterproof suitcase loaded with more delicate personal belongings, traveling funds, any necessary documentation and other minor things that Rhea couldn't risk losing so easily.

"Now then, please, excuse me. I have a wagon to take and as they say 'The early bird guts the worms', right? Fufufu~" The heterochromic woman joked as she took her leave to the wagon. To her surprise, Rhea found that she was indeed the first one to arrive, meaning that she could find a comfortable place close to the driver and wait there until someone else arrived and was unavoidably greeted with her grin of feline contentment.
@KoL That could be a novel thought, teaching stuff to people again. Was already planning some sort of teaching session by scathach in the future, after the current singularity is solved and we can use the training rooms again.

Indeed, let's see what will happen.
Well, I... guess I should find something else to do.

I suppose I do need to work on my posting quality and stuff anyway. :,(

I meant your last OOC reply, by the way, if that wasn't clear. You pretty much said you skipped on posting to play games, while you knew I was waiting. That was the reason why I bailed out.
Except for Eris, because @Scarifar's last reply gave me reason to disengage her from Butterfly and go do other things.

I decided to not post any reactions for the rest of the people who are interacting with any scene I'm involved in, since no one has replied yet. I'll wait for you guys, do your thing at your time. However, keep in mind that this scenario won't last forever. Once the time to move forward comes, we may as well need to cut any leftover scenes and give then an abridged ending.

For the time being, however, be my guest.

“You know what?” Argent Maiden suddenly said when it became clear that the attack at the Blue City’s main gate was all but impossible to stop.

“Huh?” Absinthe Blue, Maiden’s only interlocutor at the moment replied.

“I mean, this thing about holding a hostage just to pay it back to a bully who hurt someone I love, in a ‘game’, is kinda pointless,” Maiden shook her head while taking a better look at the chaos before them, turning back to Absinthe after that. “Actually, I feel bad for you Bruisers, now that I think about it. We may have gone a bit too overboard on this war thing.”

“Oh, you think that only now?” Absinthe made an effort to not yell at the silvery avatar before her. Di— did they only think about this crap after destroying half of the Blue City, seriously? “You destroyed the City Titania-sama— no, that all of us worked so build and now you are saying you think you’ve went too far?”

“Wait, wait, wait,” Maiden interjected before Absinthe could keep on talking, “that was an order of our King, y’know? It’s not like we could disobey it for no good reason. Even if, in hindsight, it was kind of a dumb thing to do. Anyway, I guess this has gone on for long enough and I lost the interest in keeping you as a hostage. Let’s just get done with this. See ya later!”

“You are kidding me, right? You can only be kidding m—” Absinthe didn’t even had time to finish her complaint before Argent Maiden sent her off with a staff blow to the gut, finishing the meager hit points the Blue Fairy still had. That had been a lost cause for the Cobalt Bruisers from the very beginning, given that the Ebony Strykers seemed to be incapable of, or unwilling to paying back their debts, choosing to go to the Red City and haggle for the Scarlet Harleys favor, instead of helping their supposed allies. Yet, to die in such a way… Absinthe, or better, Yuuno couldn’t be help but be very aggravated.

Meanwhile, the supermarket brawl between Eclipse Princess and Stinging Butterfly had to be suddenly interrupted when section of the ceiling they had broken through began to collapse, forcing the two combatants apart. Princess could very well bypass this obstacle, but Eris couldn’t get her mind out of a certain issue that has been plaguing her conscience, making this the better chance to disengage from this fight.

When the dust settled, Stinging Butterfly would be able to see that Princess wasn’t nowhere inside the store. In the blink of an eye she had left, using her teleportation ability while he was blinded by the falling rubble. Now, the Ivory Masks’ Berserker looked over the crumbling store, from over a nearby building, one last time before calling up her interface to send a message:

To: Eins (Enyo Reinhardt)
From: Eris Reinhardt
Subject: I’ll be back later
I’m going to logout and visit Chiyo, Eins. Maybe I’ll try to find what happened to Yoshino as well, if I have some time to spare. If you need me just send a message and I’ll be back faster than you can say blitzkrieg. By the way, if you see a Healer named Nies Hellum around, tell her that I had to leave and that she can visit later if she still wants to talk.

E.R.

PS: I’ll leave a copy of the key over the dresser. Don’t do anything weird while I’m out.

With that done, Eris logged out of Deep Ground and left for Chiyo’s house, after calling for her driver since it was likely going to be easier to go there by car than if she had to wait for a bus.

Yuuno Kurogami
Purple Crown Academy

@TheWindel

“The next time I see that silver hair, I’m going to make her see stars. Literally,” Yunno said to herself as she got back to her feet. “Now I guess the only thing I can do is try to find Bel-sama again. Thinking about it, where is Shino? She disappeared just like Bel-sama, and right about the same time. That’s starting to feel very weird, or creepy, I guess?”

Just as she thought about it, Yuuno went back to the search of both the missing President and Vice-President of Purple Crown’s Student Council. Was that some kind of secret conspiracy to upset the power balance at the Academy? It certainly smelled fishy. But, what was happening and why were answers still beyond Yuuno’s ability to rationalize.

“Maybe, if I try sending a message, it’ll work?” The dark-haired schoolgirl thought, before calling on her interface to send to send the following message:

To: Maribel Harper, Yoshino Tsugumi
From: Yuuno Kurogami
Subject: Where are you?
Where are any of you two? I’ve been looking up and down all the Academy.
Please respond, I’m starting to get worried.

Yuuno.
I think we can safely say that it is going to be difficult for Maribel to enjoy the position of Blue King after this incident.

A King in exile is still a King, is she not?
@TheWindel

What's up with Bel and guys with dead fish eyes? Is that one of her "ideal man" characteristics?
@KoL: I would think that there's too much of a difference between the two to make that even comprehensible, let alone possible by modern magi standards. Too heavy a bastardization over the years will make things... Pretty inconclusive if you attempt to pull anything Age of Gods level from there.

And... Well, let's stay away from WW2-era gun-toting Servants, shall we? :3c

That was just a for fun comment, hehehe. :p

Also, I know that everyone wants to stay away from Assassin Simo Hayha, probably the most hyped up modern candidate to Servant that there's.
<Snipped quote by KoL>

I'd imagine you'd rather see the scene where Antonia wins, but the Giga Slime is a more amenable sort when it isn't under such a vitriolic influence.

Hehehe.
