Elizaveta is the only surviving child of Alexander and Dominika Romanov, the former Czar and Czarina of Noslainia; making her the sole heir of her empire and the last of the Romanov Line. The only other surviving member being her Grandmother Alexandria Vladlena Romanova, the Grand Czarina.
The Grand Duchess was raised with all the pomp and circumstance befitting the next Czarina of an Empire. Schooled, from a young age, in all things she would need to be able to run the government; politics, various languages so that she could easily converse with other nations, etiquette, history, warfare and so forth.
Up until her sixteen birthday she was sequestered away behind the walls of the palace, constantly surrounded by guards, as her grandmother governed the empire. Elizaveta was not allowed outside the palace walls or around her people until then. She studied hard, always wishing to prove to the Grand Czarina that she was ready.
Since her sixteenth birthday however things have been very different. The Grand Czarina presented her to the people and Elizaveta took a very hands on approach. Quickly inserting herself among her people and working with them to help rebuild her still shaky empire. Listening carefully to their concerns and not afraid to get her hands dirty and help them in any way she could, quickly winning the hearts of her people.
Now 21 it is time, by the tradition of her nation, to be wed. This is not something deep down that she agrees with but Elizaveta is so rooted in the old ways, this is one thing she had not vocalized her opinion on. She is determined to do what is needed to keep her Empire together and she understands that part of this includes marriage and producing an heir.
