Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

Orchid just stared blankly at Torus as he rambled on about things that were far beyond the half-orc's common comprehension. "Torag hungry? Torag sound hungry." Hunger was the simplest conclusion Orchid could guess for the old man. Frankly, Orchid could go for a heavy meal himself. Some nice veal and a huge jug of water. Perhaps some roasted mushrooms or fish. Simple tastes really, Orchid would be fine with a few raw potatoes if they had raided any. But alas, nothing for the half-orc just yet.

Before he could go and find some edibles one of the guards came over to Orchid asking about why Brannor was cleaning the stables, since the stables weren't suppose to be cleaned. Orchid had no intentions of telling the guard why Brannor was really there, so Orchid just shrugged. "Neh. Prisoner prisoner. If he not work here, make him work somewhere else! Go shovel hole or something." Orchid rebuffed the guard and went back into the mess hall to grab himself some grub.

BAAAAARGH! FINALLY!

Just my fecking luck that when I finally get a post done, the site goes down. That was an painful moment.

POST INCOMING!
@Hekazu

Norsch is coming back? I'd gladly accept her. besides, she owes Orchid dinner.
Orchid heard Brannor's words and took the bait. He paused for a moment and turned to the prisoner, grabbing him roughly around the cheeks and pulling him close, snarling threateningly. "Just you wait." Orchid said in startling concise common. "Tonight, I'll show them where my loyalties lie." A double veiled message. Was it a threat, or a subtle hint that tonight was the night they get out of this camp? Truthfully it was the latter but Orchid's rough handling of Brannor and aggressive growling hopefully made it seem like the former. Orchid was also vaguely aware of the hidden message Brannor told him, though Orchid had already figured that they were under tight watch since they were brought to the leader's camp and questioned. He did note how they wouldn't be able to leave from the front entrance however; Orchid figured it wouldn't be that easy. But he had something of a plan.

Orchid brought Brannor to the stables, pushing him to the ground in front of the other cultists and slaves. Orchid spoke loudly for all to hear. "Go clean stable! Animal, you think you wild, free. But you slave like others! So work. Good beasts get treat. Bad ones be meat." Not really and secret messages this time, Orchid just needed to be rid of Brannor before anyone got too curious. Though hopefully with Brannor's new gift and proximity to some horses, perhaps he could secure the party a means to escape. Either way Orchid swaggered away to maintain the ruse of the boisterous orc, though he did notice Torus acting off. Well more off then he usually did. Curious about how his bear mount was doing the orc went over to the old man.

"Torag! What you do? Play with mud?" The half-orc said with genuine curiosity. He knew that Torag was a druid but he didn't know what he had stuck his hands into the mud. Was he digging for worms or something? Torus also seemed sadden but Orchid didn't know why. Orchid was pretty jolly himself. But he always was. "Orchid play with mud when Orchid was child. Orchid make mug golems! Or little mud men. Orchid wish they golem. He pretend. You make golem too?"

Survival Class
Lumberjacking

The students success at leaving the boat didn’t mark the end of class, unfortunately. That was just one part of the test. Now they needed to find a way to survive the coming storm, or get off this island. Apparently there was an airship enroute so getting its attention would be important. But should that fail, everyone would need to find shelter from the monsoon. Gren was unfortunately not very experienced in dealing with such tropical storms, but he had some small clue about making homemade tents. The White Fang often had them move about a lot, and the tents Gren was familiar with were sturdy enough to withstand our average rainstorm. Whether or not it could handle a monsoon would be soon seen.

”Well then, you all heard her! Let’s get moving. Oswald has the fire, now we need lumber. We ain’t got time to make a log cabin though, so fine as much reeds, leaves, and other fibrous materials as you can too. That’ll be filler.” Gren activated his semblance to reduce friction between his feet and the ground, and then rocketed towards the forest while revving up his chainsaw. With ease he cut down swathes if trees as if they were twigs. Once he had about ten felled logs, Gren kept them together using his semblance and hauled them towards Oswald utilizing g his brute strength. They were still quite heavy, but nothing that Gren couldn’t handle with his semblance allowing him to slide it to Oswald like a sled.

”Aight Ozzy, here’s some timber. Got some leaves and bark on em too so you can make em extra Smokey. I’m going to go back and try to help the others make some sort of shelter. Holler if ya need me.”

Before Gren left he took the courtesy to chop the trees into more manageable logs, but beyond that he’d leave it to Oswald to handle and make the bonfire. Gren would return to the others and lead the act of deforesting the coast to create some sort of storm shelter. He really hoped someone else knew how to make one; he was only good at gathering materials. Any attempts at subtle or silence would be ignored as Gren’s chainsaw ripped through the trunks of any tree of considerable girth, though he at least had the courtesy of shouting ”TIMBER!” So no one was crushed underneath one of his fallen logs.

Lemme go knock on his house.
Lucilia Riovas

Lucilia soon returned towards her office carrying a small basket of blood candies. This was one of the more recently successful batches that Lucilia was going to box and send out as gifts to her allies in Djarkel and Eania, hopefully this might make some of the more independent covens more interested in collaborating with the college in the future. Speaking of diplomatic missions, she noticed Leith sitting outside of her office. Last she remembered she had sent him on a mission into Djarkel to speak to some of the college's allies. She hoped that everything turned out well for them, though Leith seemed sad. He was slumped against the wall like he had just hurt a friend's feeling. Not wanting to sour his mood, Lucilia crept over and playfully poked his cheek with a flower. "Boop. Hello Leith. Why so glum?"

Tyrael Marchosias

"Oh?

Henri would feel a burning sensation in his back as Tyrael glared at him. The flowers that were on his body began to wilt as his temperature rose, a good sign that Tyrael was about to activate his magic. His arms grew bigger and his fingers extended into sharp bladed claws as the demonomancy teacher her the newcomer flirt with Lyn. "What is this? An intruder in the college? We cannot allow that." Tyrael's black eyes looked into Henri's soul to mark him for death, or at least that's how it felt. For the most part Tyrael just looked like he was about to tear someone apart, partly out of intimidation, mostly because he really was and was only holding back because of the flowers that were now actively constricting his body.

Of course Tyrael had to calm down at some point, which was when Grey addressed him. Tyrael's claws turned back into hands, though his notably bulkier arms remained. "Hmph. I am fine. Just Lucilia's magic trying to ward off demons again." Grey seemed to have Henri handled for now, allowing Tyrael to focus his attention back to Lyn. Though he still looked like he was on the verge of mayhem, his expression soften (subtly) as he looked to Lyn. "I do not, miss Lyn. I have actually come to see if she has arrived, but I believe she has. Her team came sometime ago and she was not reported missing. I am certain that your mother is just resting. For now let us go and rest as well. Professor's orders. Later we may bring your mother something fresh to eat." In Lyn's company Tyrael relaxed, his arms returning back to normal as he turned to guide the students to the dinning hall. Normally they'd have to walk on the sidewalks, but it was faster going through the snow. For those who didn't want to get their feet wet, Tyrael would make a path as he walked through the snow, melting a path thanks to the heat radiating from his body. The flowers remained wilted, yet still showed stubborn signs of life.

Hunter’s Name: Lucilia Riovas
Age: 21
Appearance:

Weapon of choice:
Long Battleaxe

Armor of choice:
Breastplate (hidden underneath tabard)

Strengths:
Battle Harden - Lucilia is no stranger to the horrors and burdens of war. She has seen her fellow men and women torn apart by cannons, blades, and man's own innate savagery. She has been to the fields of slaughter where thousands of innocents are put to the blade for no reason other then convenience and spite. She has seen what her own soldiers would to to prisoners of war to slate their own hunger. And she has had a hand in all of these travesties, and sleeps soundly at night. Whether she is cutting down a infidel with her axe, or burning a witch at the stake, Lucilia is horrifically skilled and efficient.
Agile - Though her armor and weapon are often too heavy for the untrained, in her own hands Lucilia can move swiftly and dispatch her foes easily using the speed and weight of her weapon against them. She'll be in and out as fast as her axe swings, leaving a bloody mess behind.
Holy Knowledge - As an Inquisitor, Lucilia is privy to knowledge kept secret from the public and even to some more learned scholars. These secrets not only include information about beasts and monsters, but also such things as gunpowder, "Holy Water", and certain drugs. Lucilia will often utilize this knowledge to help her work.
Devout - Lucilia's faith is unwavering, and so is her will. Even in the darkest moments she'll remain strong and fight until it is finally time for her to meet her maker. So no matter how beaten she is, how bleak the situation, she'll never lose hope not even after she loses her life.
Empathy - As odd as it may seem, Lucilia has a keen sense for people's emotions. She can feel their hidden fears, their sick pleasures, and their desperate cries for help underneath their laughter. This empathy allows her to better understand people as well as discern their true motives, as well as use it against them to manipulate their emotions for her own gain.

Weaknesses:
Fanatic - Just as she is devout, Lucilia is also insanely fanatic about her beliefs. For the most part she allows people to question her faith and lets them wallow in their own ignorance, but press the right buttons and make her question her faith, and she'll do nothing less then everything to prove where her loyalties lie.
Bound to the Church - Lucilia's loyalty ultimately does not lie with the crown, the guild, or even to her ideals, but her church. She'd follow them even if they turn against everything they stood for, because her belief is in them, not in the teachings she's suppose to follow.
Insomniac - Lucilia has a hard time trying to rest under the best of circumstances, and when she finally does she'll be difficult to awaken. This has gotten so bad that she had been made into an Inquisitor so she could make her own schedule instead of abiding by strict time clocks of her church.
Narrow Minded - When it comes to battle Lucilia takes out her opponents one at a time. That's fine if she's dueling someone, or has allies to watch her back, but should she be faced against a mob alone she may be able to eliminate perhaps three or four before she is eventually overwhelmed by the sheer amount.

Personality: Loyal, dutiful, and sharp. Or at least that's what Lucilia strives to be. Always questioning her strength, Lucilia continues to try and improve herself and others while doing her duties. A workaholic who sees the act of doing her job as an ends in and of itself. When she finds time to relax it's often only to alleviate the stress of her work so that she may soon return to it. She's a serious no-nonsense woman who tolerates little but respects those who do their part. You're rarely get a smile out of her but if you play your cards right you can at least earn her favor.

History: Lucilia was not invited by the hunters, but sought them out on behalf of her church, the Izalith. Their patron deity is said to be a goddess who first showed humanity flames, and thus showed them the power of innovation, creation, and light. Lucilia is part of a sect within her church known as the Blade of Izalith, inquisitors who serve her interests. Raised from birth to becoming a loyal warrior of Izalith, Lucilia joins the hunters under the command of her leaders, who seek to make an alliance with the church so that they could protect their people from the forces of darkness that would consume the world if left alone. Beyond that, there is very little of Lucilia's history that she cares to remember. She often accompanied members of the clergy to protect them, but has also fought in many wars in order for the church to continue their alliances with various nobles and nations.
