Today was a good day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing. Slight breeze which wasn't too overly cold but also at the same time not too overly warm. A perfect day to begin the school year on.
...Perhaps even too perfect.
Such thoughts crossed Cody's mind as he not only completely ignored the man out the front but also all the students passing either side of him. Instead he stood out the front and eyed off the school suspiciously.
School. A place of learning. Friendships would be created and subsequently broken, as would hearts and other relationships. A place one made mistakes and would learn from the experience. However what concerned Cody most however is one other thing.
It was also a place to make enemies. Obviously a place to gather allies would also make it a place to gain enemies, especially for one with a grand destiny such as his. What such grand destiny could an ordinary schoolboy have you ask?
Well it was obvious. He was no ordinary school boy. He was the (self-proclaimed) hero! The one destined to defeat the demon king and everything evil in this world.
So while still being cautious of whatever dangers could lurk inside the school, though it was mainly just paranoia from the nerves of going to high school, Cody took his first few tentative steps towards herohood. Cause that's a word.
He made his way to the hall where he was directed and placed his luggage in a heap near the wall. He would sort out his crap later, and it wasn't in the way so eh.
Glancing over at the gathered fellow first year students he noticed a rather angry looking boy and girl in a heated looking discussion. Jeez. Were they already having a lovers spat? It was the first day for god's sake.
He noticed another boy but didn't pay him a lot of attention. He didn't seem to be the talkative type.
Instead Cody channeled all his heroic energy into the task at hand. Breaking up this nonexistent fight before him which was simply just Megan snapping at someone. Time to show off his diplomatic grace and skill!
"Yo chill it. First day no need for blood yeah?" Yep. Perfect as always.
