Currently looking for Fairy Fencer F (FFF for short I suppose XD) Roleplay actually
@Im a huge mess Sorry, that isn't in my vocabulary. How do you think I got this hamstring injury in the first place? If I took things easy, restrained myself when playing I wouldn't be in this mess. But much like a dog playing fetch, I see the ball and I chase the ball. I must have the ball XD Competitiveness, my strength yet also my greatest weakness.
@Caits@Burthstone@t2wave@Zarkun@Lugubrious Jasmine shook her head frantically as if to say no, her blonde hair soon becoming a frenzied mess. She couldn't even find the ability to speak right now. She was just that nervous from all these relative new people to her. Her eyes darted from one person to the other almost as frantically as her head shaking before returning her attention back to Penny. "Ma-maybe I should just come back later?" She mumbled in a tiny voice. Hey what would you know, she regained her ability to talk. Even if it was only at the volume which even slayers would be straining to hear.
Cody Bloodstein
@Zarkun Cody quickly got back to his feet, still concerned about whatever may have caused such a quake but upon James words simply gave the Paladin a nod of his head. "You're right, those bridge builders need our help." As much as Cody was curious about whatever had caused that quake, he was sure that whatever it was if it was serious it would be dealt with with much more experienced, capable wizards. And if it wasn't, well then it's just a quake. Right? Anyway he had suggested that they do this mission so he had better get moving. Those workers weren't going to save themselves, apparently. He always kept a few things on his person, essentials really such as his body armour and sword, but knew that he would probably have to go get a few more things if they were going to go on a longer trip. Spare clothes, etc. He had them ready, but he would have to actually go get them. "I'll just go grab my stuff and I'll meet you at the train station then?" Cody didn't really wait for an answer from James and quickly went to get his bundle of crap stuff and then head to the station as planned.
Back at the Frenzy Plant guild, Riona would be sitting in a wide empty room humming to herself as she looked around the area. It certainly looked like the place where the initiations were held. It was wide and had plenty of room for people to go brawl without being too cramped, although it wasn't invincible apparently. The cranky white haired guy told her to not break the room if she was going to use it, something about the Oni guy getting destruction of the room banned? Well not that it mattered really, she didn't plan on expanding the room at all. Just wanted to finish that fight with the Ash girl that they were suppose to have back at the games, before they were sent off to Belka where she got her Private rank. So she decided to invite the gal for a nice brawl, she didn't like leaving business unfinished and to her this was certainly unfinished. Also Ash seemed like the type to enjoy a good fight anyway so if she was game to continue where they left off, then that would just make this one hell of a fun day.
Ash was excited, that much was obvious. Despite being late and keeping Riona waiting, something which Ash was notorious for back in Shadow Heart and slowly becoming so in Frenzy Plant, there was still an air of excitement around of her. She had been looking forward for this fight for two damned months. It was meant to be the fight to allow her to enter the guild, but then there was the Belka nonsense so it had been postponed indefinitely. Of course Ash was allowed to join after her help in that mission, but she felt like she had cheated to join that way so this would definitely make her feel better about that. Soon she entered the wide, empty room and it wasn't that difficult to notice Riona already sitting inside since...well there wasn't much else in there, so kinda obvious. That and the hair always stood out. "Yo, sorry for being late...umm Riona right?" Ash waved briefly as she entered. Yeah she was sure her name was Riona, but they hadn't really met that many times since and there were quite a few people to remember. Might take some time to remember them all, but Ash never bothered with names anyway. Only magic and a 'landmark' on their appearance, it was easier that way. Rainbow Fire, if what she had heard from others was true, and bright orange and black hair. That last part made her quite distinct. "Never been one to mince words, so suppose we should get this show on the road eh?"
Yawning a bit she almost dozed off when the woman of the hour spoke up. Riona perked up a bit and looked at Ash with a grin plastered on her face. "That would be my name, and you are Ash. Well technically Ashlyn but you mostly go by Ash. Never really got to get to know ya what with all the events and what not." Riona replied with before Ash suggested they get the show on the road, Riona would giggle as she stood up and cracked her neck. "Ohhhh I like you chick." Riona said as Ash would feel a sudden burst of energy come from Riona as she held her hands together and extended them out towards Ash. A torrent of green energy would shoot out towards Ash to get the fight going, yet she would never open with such a simple move. "Flame Scatter!" Riona chanted as she moved her hands away from each other which caused the torrent to split apart into five smaller torrent each moving in a different direction towards Ash. An attack disguised as a one way beam, yet now Ash had to deal with five different directions of danger, it made Riona wonder how she would counter or dodge. It would be no fun if she went down this easily.
Ash watched the oncoming torrent of green 'flames' closely. Just at first glance something felt off, but what was it? The attack soon split into a five directional attack but still Ash felt something off. Deciding not to worry about it for now, Ash decided it was time for a warm up. Bringing up her hand, two small fireballs formed in each on before firing off towards two of the small torrents. Once they made contact, she expanded the heat of explosion they caused to wipe out the one in-between them and now only left her with the two wider ones to deal with. Which, considering they were flames weren't going to be much of a hassle. So with those thoughts in mind she allowed the other two to hit and- What the absolute f*ck?! The attacks slammed into her and sent her tumbling backwards and straight into the back wall. Ash seemed visibly confused as she quickly pushed herself off and back to her feet. Bloody oath those hurt, a lot more than they should've for fire magic. Was she...no. No. There was no way in hell her flames were strong enough to hurt her, were they? Maybe that's why they felt off? No...that wasn't it. No matter, Ash was mad now. Her fists ignited into flames before slamming into the ground, sending a torrent of fire towards Riona that would erupt beneath her feet. Though expecting the shaking of the ground to give away that attack, she sent another fireball, this one about the same size of a basketball, as high up into the room as possible before allowing it to 'denonate' which would make fire rain down from above now.
She countered with a fireball explosion taking out three of the torrents, yet the other two much to Riona's shock she took head on. "Ummm." She mumbled as they collided with her and sent her tumbling backwards and into the wall. "Kind of suppose to dodge...." She muttered rubbing her head before Ash got right back in the fight, sending her fire coated fists into the ground where she could feel the attack coming from underneath. A diversion for the real attack, she jumped back to avoid being boiled from the fire that shot out of the ground and looked above her at the raining fire. One of which hit her dead in the chest causing her to fall to the ground, rolling to both put the fire out and dodge the incoming fire as well. The fire rain stopping she jumped to her feet with smoke coming off her chest. Her jacket now kind of smoldering she sighed as she threw the jacket off. Why did everyone keep destroying her jackets? She then took off running at Ash grinning as green energy started to form around her making it look like she encased herself in fire, using her energy like a ram to try and ram Ash right back into the wall.
Ash wasn't overly surprised that Riona managed to dodged the majority of her attacks, it would've been boring if she didn't. Encasing herself in what seemed to be green fire, Riona charged towards Ashlyn once more. Ah this was much more Ash's style, hand to hand combat. However Ash hesitated for a moment, her eyes narrowing for a moment. Wait a minute...was this really fire? Slamming her fist into the ground again, soon after a wall of flame erupted just in front of Ash as cover. With Riona's vision of her block Ash allowed her feet to catch alight now and dashed up the wall. She was also testing to see if she would just try and ram though it. Useful information to know since the flames weren't great for blocking such attacks. Leaving a trail of fiery steps behind of her, she soon ran across the ceiling for a moment before launching herself off. She couldn't defy gravity for long after all. Her momentum carried her behind of Riona and as she landed she pointed an outstretched fist towards her back, flames soon begining to swirl around her fist. "Interesting flames you've got there." Ash commented as a wave of fire erupted from her gauntlet and towards Riona. The further out from Ashlyn it went, the wider the flames became.
She came to a skidding halt when a wall of fire appeared before her causing the green energy around her to die down. She took a few steps away from the fire wall to avoid getting burned in case she decided to push it towards her. Yet when nothing was happening she held her hand towards it shooting her energy through it, creating a small enough for her to see through. Ashlyn however was not on the other side of this wall, which caused Riona to blink a bit before a voice popped up from behind her. Her gut instinct caused her to turn around and thrust her fist forward shooting out a wave of green energy to meet her wave of fire head on. Yet she slowly grew to realize that her flames were bigger than her wave of energy. It overtook her energy and she had little time as a blue energy tried to form around her before being engulfed in the flames. When they cleared she was in the middle with very little of that blue energy remaining, and steam pouring off every part of her body and her clothing was visibly burned as well as her skin. Her happy look quickly showed some signs of anger. "Yeah they are interesting all right. Don't go getting burned." Riona told her and with the distance they had she started swinging her fists wildly which unleashed huge arcs of red energy at Ashlyn, which Riona didn't really stop firing. as behind the first was a second and then a third.
Getting burned? Perposterous. Ash highly doubted these flames could burn her, but that was the part which made her most confused. These flames weren't even remotely hot. Which was strange in itself, but she hadn't really dwelled on it much since she was too preoccupied with fighting. As her fire seemed to be mostly countered by a blue energy around of herself, Ashlyn frowned slightly. Those certainly weren't flames. She also wasn't too sure where this steam was coming from, but once again didn't dwell on it as Riona came in for her counter-attack. Swinging her fists around wildly, Riona began shooting out huge arcs of red 'flames'. With every wild swing, another arc of energy was unleased. Remembering what had happened previously with the green shots, Ash decided to play a lot more defensively this time. First off she slammed her fist into the ground again, allowing a wall of flames to erupt between herself and the first arc of energy. The wall managed to cancel the first arc but was quickly taken down by the second and third arcs slamming into it, allowing them to break through but Ashlyn was already on the move again. With her Fire Steps spell active once more, she began circling round Riona with her fist pointing towards her so that Ash could counter by shooting out fireballs but they were dealt with by the arcs of energy that Riona was throwing about much to Ash's annoyance. She had to get close somehow...without getting hit by those arcs of course. They kinda looked like they might just hurt. Just a tad.
The same flame wall would reappear blocking her first arc but after a couple more blows, her attacks ripped right on through where no Ashlyn would be found. Her frown grew as Ashlyn would would start to circle around her firing off fireballs to counter her arcs. She must have assumed Ashlyn's personality wrong, thinking her to be the type to deal with situations up close. So far she was being really smart about confronting her, Riona's close quarters was way better than her long range certainly was, so if that was the case then she just had to force her to get close. So she would stop her arcs which meant that fireballs were now hurling towards her, however she held out her hand and if her 'fire' wasn't already suspicious this might seal the deal when a wall of blue energy would form rather quickly right in the direction Ashlyn was running in. A way to halt her, or watch her slam into it would be pretty funny. She barely had time to avoid the fireballs, as she had to duck and dodge to avoid being hit. Every time she dodged though she moved closer and closer to Ashlyn, closing in the distance as much as she could.
Something had to give here. It was a complete stalemate between Ash firing off her fireballs and Riona firing off her arcs of energy. A game of patience one might say, between two of the worst applicants of such a skill. Wasn't that hard to believe that Riona soon changed things up, in fact Ash quite like the change. But the blue energy wall she formed in front of her? Yeah, Ash could certainly live without that little additional obstacle. More acting on her honed instincts than any real train of thought, she managed to twist her body round just as her momentum carried her into the wall of blue energy. A small red magic circle appeared beneath her heel as it touched the wall, causing flames to erupt from her feet and launch her off and away from the wall. Taking a moment to think in her backtrack, her frown deepened as she looked closer at the wall. For a fire mage, there seemed to be a real...lack of fire being used. This wall certainly wasn't made of any. "You-" Ash let out a loud omph as she landed gracefully on her buttocks, a 10/10 landing, "Do you even use fire magic? Cause those aren't flames." Quickly leaping to her feet as Riona began closing in the distance, Ash brushed off her butt before igniting her fist once more. So it was finally time for a good old fisticuffs huh? Excellent, Ash was sick of playing cat and mouse anyway. Wasn't her style, nor was she great at it. Her skillset was far more suited for melee. Ash took a deep breath before charging forward, flames swirling around her fist. With the fireballs no longer being fired, it would also allow Riona to close the distance quicker. Once within optimal face-punching distance, Ash would drew back her fist and look to do so with a devastating fire-fueled punch. And if that plan failed? Hope to block whatever Riona could throw at her sounded like a decent back-up plan.
Using her flames to shoot herself off her wall she would continue to close in the distance a little faster since the fireballs ended, yet a question caused her to stop in her tracks and look at her. She held her hand out where it looked like a fireball was resting but it started to change forms into a round ball into a star, all sorts of objects. "Eh was only a matter of time before an actual fire mage called me out on it. Nope not a fire mage, better guess would be energy so to speak. Keep it a secret though chickee. I can still trick a few people if they think its fire." Riona said as the energy in her hand vanished and she held a finger to her mouth and gave her a wink. She could tell people this much about her, it had nothing to do with the dark guild she was once part of. "Now that I don't gotta make my attacks look pretty." She said as green energy coated her hands. "Lets dance hot stuff." Riona shot forward towards Ash who was readying a punch so Riona grinned and readied hers as well. She would close the distance to the point they were only a few inches away from each other. Ash's punch would be flung her way and Riona would grin as it connected with her face. One could hear the sizzle of her skin burning, yet Riona using her left hand clutched Ash's arm and would then launch her right fist at Ashlyn's face.
As much as Ash was curious about why she was trying to keeping her energy magic here a secret, she decided to save such chatter for later at the least. She must have a damned good reason if everyone in the guild thought she had fire magic after all. "Well I'm not an ordinary fire mage anyway." She commented as the distance was closed to within a few inches of each other. Ash now threw her charged up punch, feeling it connect solidly with Riona's face. But to Ash's surprise, she simply stood there grinning while holding her arm. Even while the sound of sizzling flesh could clearly be heard Ash felt Riona's own punch connect. But, much like Riona, Ash stood firm and even allow a small smirk to form on her lips. "Is that all?" Ash threw a left uppercut towards Riona as she spoke, hoping to catch her off guard. Then again, with one hand holding her arm and the other still pressing into her left cheekbone Ash could only wonder how she could block it anyway.
Riona gave a whistle at Ash standing her ground and taking the punch like a champ, even taunting her a bit which caused a chuckle. "Not even close." Riona got out before a left punch connected with her chin causing her to flinch a bit and stumble back, yet kept a firm grasp on Ash's arm as some blood leaked out of Riona's mouth. Yet she would then yank Ashlyn towards her while also moving forward to slam her head into Ash's head. Now this was way more Riona's style, a nice good ol fashioned who will block first bravado slug fest. So she couldn't help but laugh a bit even though her entire body was burning and felt like she was overheating from taking so many of her fire attacks head on. She hasn't had this much fun in a long time, like that one saying goes. You gotta fight em to understand them, and from what she was picking up, Ash and her were more alike than she knew.
Ash's uppercut was successful much to her own enjoyment. Unfortunately a little too effective, as it made Riona tumble back slightly and since Riona still had a hold on her that meant that Ash stumbled forward as well. Whoops. Feeling herself being yanked further forward now, Ash almost lost her footing but managed to regain it just time to be on the receiving end of a skull-shattering headbutt. Luckily for both of them though, they were both pretty thick-skulled so there was no shattering of their skulls today. A little dazed by the blow, Ash's head recoiled backwards from the impact before she then slammed her head back forward and into Riona's head. A wide, almost maniacal grin broke out on her face as she looked her fellow Frenzy Plant mage in the eyes. The excitement of the fight shown clearly as the passionate flames of her magic. Riona at this distance would begin to feel the heat radiating off the fire mage, and it was only increasing as Ash's skin seemed to be turning a slight red colour. Like a blush. Grabbing onto Riona's shoulder with her right hand, she flung her left hand onto the other shoulder and with a firm grip on the other mage now went to pick up Riona and dump her. German Suplex style.
She felt her head pound a bit after that headache, only to be returned the favor causing her head to recoil backwards stumbling before finding her footing. It gave the fire mage plenty of time to get a strike in which so happened to be in the form of a grapple. The pain in her head going away she had just enough time too see both hands on her shoulder and then suplexed her up and over her and to the ground. This knocked the air out of her while also making her wonder just how strong this woman was, yet really that just made it even better. Someone who could go toe to toe with her in close quarters always made it more exciting. She really had to take time to enjoy this fight, no need to rush fun after all. She would jump back up to her feet grinning at Ash who was radiating heat. It was around this time that a green aura would also radiate around Riona, who would start jumping from one foot to the other in place. Then when she placed her right foot on the ground she sent a burst of energy out from under it propelling her right towards Ashlyn at a fast shot, where Riona had her right arm extended out to give the fire mage one devastating clothesline.

Riona was tougher than she looked. She managed to jump back to her feet relatively quickly and grinned towards Ash, who simply responded by wearing that same grin from before. She could feel it...the adrenaline pumping through her veins, her body feeling as if lit aflame...yes this was the feeling she had been yearning for. Something she had been missing ever since she left Shadow Heart. A good fist fight. There were only a handful in Shadow Heart who could keep up with her in physical combat, and even fewer once she started using magic. But man, she felt...rusty. Her reactions slower than she was used to. Seeming more obvious to her as Riona suddenly dashed forward at an incredible speed, throwing out her arm as if to clothesline her. Without much time to think, Ash suddenly jumped backwards and into the air. While this might seem that she was now just a sitting duck for the clothesliner that Riona was about to deliver, the wings of flame that erupted from her back pushed her back and further up did the job of avoiding it nicely. To prevent Riona from following suit Ash shot off a couple of fireballs. Ash simply had to stall for a few moments longer...it was almost reaching that stage. Her Blazedrive was finally about to kick in. Landing softly on her feet a few metres away, she dashed forward and left a blazing trail in her wake. Igniting her fist once again, she went to deliver another good old trusty right hook, and if that failed then would follow it up with surrounding the both of them in a spiral of flames.
Just before her clothesline could connect, Ash would jump backwards then use her magic to avoid it altogether. Riona smirked and saw her throw some fireballs which she meet with her own energy balls. Watching Ashlyn land on her feet and already resume her attack, Riona would let her get in close and would proceed to block her right hook. Holding her ground to it despite the burning pain in her left arm, that was when a spiral of flames started to surround them which made Riona smile at Ash. "Woo! I feel the heat girl, by the way. You so dodged first!" Riona said giggling as Riona would add her own energy to the spiral of flames, mixing in her green energy to the mix. That was when Riona held her hand to Ash as her smile started to grow into a wicked grin. "Mega burst." Riona said simply which caused a green glow in her hand which would shoot out in a massive torrent of green energy. After this attack though she would be pretty depleted of her energy after using a good chunk in one go.
Ash disregarded the taunt that Riona fired back as she blocked her right hook that was intended to literally blow her off her feet. Allowing the flames she had been saving up for some time to flare up around of them in a spiral, she noticed that there was some of that green energy from before being added in. Riona now held her hand out towards the fire mage, a green energy surrounding it as a wicked grin slowly grew across Riona's face. It didn't take a genius to work out what Riona had in mind, especially for someone with a very similar mindset. This was going to hurt like hell unless Ash didn't do something first. Luckily for her, she had finished 'warming up' so to speak. The oven had been preheated. Etc, etc. Such fire related puns went through her mind as her skin had a red tinge to it across her entire body. Well, what could be seen anyway. As Riona fired off her massive torrent of energy from basically pointblank Ash knew she didn't have the time to dodge, however she wouldn't need to. Her body caught alight moments before the torrent hit, slamming into the flames that coated her body all the while pushing her back which created large divets in the ground from where her feet were. The flames coating her body now began to die down so she threw one of her arms up protectively in front of her while holding the other one outstretched as the rest of the torrent slammed into it. She couldn't use her Flame Armour spell for longer than five seconds, though it was one of her more powerful defensive spells, simply because unlike a slayer she couldn't just set herself on fire willy nilly. She was still human ya know? The flames now began to converge in her hand and seemed to be forming a shape. It became more distinct quite quickly, it was obviously a sword. Ash brought her sword back, which was still coated in flames, and slashed through the torrent of energy. This also sent an arc of fire soaring towards Riona. "You're gonna have to do better than that to best my flames." Ash called out as she raised the hand which wasn't holding the sword skyward. Flames soon began to converge above of it as she began to manifest a large ball of fire.
Her torrent of green energy pushed the fire armored woman right out of their tornado of fire and energy, letting it turn into a energy one once Ashlyn was pushed out of it. Riona would disperse it into little green dust which shimmered almost beautifully before vanishing. She panted a bit watching Ashlyn struggle against it before she slashed through it with a sword of fire, sending an arc of it right towards her. Sighing she wiped the sweat from her forehead and held her hands out in front of her, creating a shield of energy. Which took the brunt of the blow but still sent Riona tumbling backwards. Shakily she got to her feet, and was a bit confused as to how it got so much brighter in here, so when she gazed upwards at the giant ball of flames Riona stared at it and held up one finger. "Gimmie a minute." Riona asked before she sat down placing her fists together she began to suck in the energy around her, Ashlyn might even notice a little bit being taken from her. Yet the moral of the story was that Riona's power which diminished was growing right up again, yet to do this right in front of Ashlyn was almost a call out of sorts, a challenge too see if the woman would let her get her power back up or attack.
.... Was this woman serious? Ash couldn't quite believe that Riona just sat down while her firepower continued to exponentially increased in size at a rapid rate, and even had the bloody gall to try and do her own charge up! Ash had at least made sure that there was distance between the two and didn't do something so damned pretentious like sitting down. This was just like a slap to the face, a challenge had been issued. And Ash wasn't one to back down from such an insult. Shifting her weight onto her back foot, she pulled back her left arm which had the firepower and took a pose much like a pitcher in baseball. "No way in hell!" Ash now hurled the fireball, which had grown to roughly the size of a small car, at Riona at a rate of knots. With all her weight now on her front foot she now dashed behind the fireball. Slashing at it a couple of times, the fireball now scattered around the room and bombarded everything inside. Sure the attack might destroy the room, or at the very least set it on the fire, but Ash was never one to care about such things nor worry about them before hand. This was a fight she wanted, no needed, to win. And she planned on doing so using whatever she had to. But even through she had scattered the fireball around the room didn't mean she was done yet. She kept running forward and would now allow her sword to disperse before bringing back another flame charged fist. She couldn't let Riona have a chance to think or recover, not a single moment to have any remote breathing space. Whatever advantage Ash might've had she needed to push to it's limits.
As she was sitting on the ground she would flash Ashlyn a grin to get those gears of her grinding just a bit more. While it’s true she needed to get her power back up, she was also trying to get Ashlyn to get a bit more agitated at her. A red flash appeared from her eyes for a split second and like that she was now absorbing the anger in the air, anger that her friend Ashlyn was producing a good bit of at the moment. So when she threw the car sized fireball at her, Riona would jump to her feet to get ready to dodge the strike, only she realized something she should have said sooner. That destroying this room would get them very very frowned upon. So seeing all the destruction from the spots the fireball hit that wasn’t her. Well shit was pretty much on her mind. She had to snap back to reality in time to dodge the ones that would have hit her, only for the barrage to end and too see Ashlyn in front of her with a flame charged fist. Riona grit her teeth and moved her head to the side, getting grazed by the fire fist leaving a red mark on her cheek that wasn’t blood but burnt skin. “Shit that hurt! Piss off!” Riona now stated now feeling the anger in her rising. Raising her right hand she was bringing it to grab her by the face and then send out an explosion of energy and she would attempt to slam her down on the ground head first. Of course a telling sign of this was the red energy swirling around her limb, which would then be shot into her for that extra force.
Ashlyn could feel the tender flesh of Riona's face as her fist brushed past where it had been moments before. The sizzling of her flesh, the pungent aroma it secreted, it seem to unlock something residing deep within her. A feeling she hadn't felt in over a year, one she hadn't wished to feel ever again. It was a specific emotion, no it was simply a dark sense of satisfaction. And it sickened Ash to no end, yet she couldn't help but feel excited as she watched Riona's energy clad hand reach up for her face, her angry exclamation of pain. She felt it brush her chin as she limbo-matrix-style dived under it and now slid along the ground on her back. In that same movement Ash would attempt to grab at Riona's ankles to pull her off her feet when Ash leapt back to her own feet. Whether that was successful or not wouldn't really impact what she planned to do next; a fury of flame coated punches and kicks directed towards either her disadvantaged opponent on the ground or towards her standing upright on the defensive hopefully. Either that, or if Riona was quick enough to react a pure slugfest which would consist of pure brute strength and the sheer ability to handle pain. Something Ash would back herself to win.
Missing her attack only aggravated the woman more, enough so that it was quite easy to pull the angry woman's feet out from under her. Causing a thud on the ground followed by several grunts as the assault from Ashlyn continued. Punch after punch, kick after kick. Riona was forced into a defensive position something she hated being in. This woman was really pushing her button now. Yet being on the defensive didn't mean she wasn't able to continue absorbing energy. So as the attacks kept coming, Riona would in one quick burst send out an energy wave all around her. Which would toss Ashlyn off her and away allowing Riona to get up to her feet breathing heavily with burn marks all over her and her clothing being scorched. Her glare shot at Ashlyn as Riona was starting to channel her energy, seemingly rising into the sky for a few moments as her energy started to form around her. Then she collapsed. All the energy she made dispersed into the air around her and she fell face first on the ground. The damage finally caught up to her and she passed out right there on the ground. Smoke coming from her as shes been more than once burnt more than a normal person should be. Yet in the end Ashlyn came out the victor over Riona.
With every punch or kick that connected Ash could feel her mind slowly fading away. She was basically just pummeling into Riona with everything she had right now, not seeming to care about the damage it may cause either of them. She was barely holding at bay the dark emotions that began bubbling to the surface. Memories of charred victims, burnt houses, the smell of death and decay soon took hold in her mind before she was snapped out of he frenzy she had found herself in by the energy burst that the energy wizard let out. It blasted the pyromancer a good twenty or thirty meters backwards, letting out a loud grunt as she slammed back first into the ground and tumbled away even further. Yet something like that, while it had accomplished its goal of knocking Ash back, didn't really hurt her that much. As proved by how quickly she leapt back to her feet, and upon noticing the concentration of energy around of Riona now manifested Archangel once more. This woman...she was strong. Ash had no qualms admitting it, in fact the prospect of fighting someone like her only made her the more excited. The problem for Riona was obvious however, even to the untrained eye one could see the difference in damage taken. Knowing the fight was reaching its climax Ash now swung her sword up above her head.
The flames scattered about the room now began to gather and swirl around the sword, reaching up to the same height as the energy did as the two stared each other down. Awaiting a mistake from the other. However no such mistake came as Ash blinked in complete disbelief at the situation that unfolded. The energy surrounded Riona just...vanished. The woman collapsed, and the fight was over. Ash had won. Realizing this, Ash allowed the flames she had been gathering to disperse, her sword soon vanishing afterwards. Visible steam began to rise off of Ash before she let out a concentrate burst of heat into the ground to prevent any further damage to Riona. But that did destroy part of the ground beneath her, but she figured it was best to let the heat out there then anywhere else. Her skin was still bright red but was cooling as she approached her downed guildmate.
It was only now that she realised the extent to which she injured her new comrade and quickly knelt down beside her. "Yo Riona! You still alive?" She shook her down comrade a little too violently as she checked her over for any life threatening injuries. Luckily she didn't find any, just that she had slightly overcooked the energy wizard.
@Im a huge mess I'm ready when you are. Though as a heads up, I might be busy with handling my current hamstring injury and work. Doesn't mean I won't be around, just means I won't be around as much as I'll like and if I'm not on for a bit you guys know why.
Anemone wouldn't lie, being disregarded by the toad as it continued it's attack on the goblin was pretty insulting in her eyes. She had attacked the damned thing; the least it could was attack her back! Jeez. This was the difference between monsters and humans. Manners and etiquette in battle. Well anyway, with the toad focusing on Rita it did make her job a lot easier-wait, what was that goblin doing? Anemone stared blankly as the goblin charged at the toad, screaming at the top of her lungs like a maniac and swinging the hammer around to match. It was a rather bemusing sight. What happened next wasn't however, as she watched the goblin jump up... .... And whack the priceless, one of a kind, legendary weapon Fulgar like it was an oversized nail. There were no words to describe how insulted and infuriated that action made Anemone feel. "Oi! Be careful with that. That's a family heirloom, not a nail." Anemone growled irritably at the goblin, frowning heavily as she considered her next move. She had to retrieve Fulgar, but if it wasn't stuck in the toad before thanks to that goblin; it certainly was now. Shrugging her shoulders, she decided to do the one thing she knew she could. Charge straight at the thing at full throttle. While it had her back turned to it, she made her move to get atop it's head and grasp onto Fulgar. "Static Shock." While the move itself was weak, it was being enhanced by the fact that the pike had been stabbed straight into the toad and thus she could channel the spell into the toad. Hopefully it would kill the thing, but it was doubtful. Though having electricity channel straight into your nerves wouldn't be a pleasant experience to say the least. Her next move would be to try and rip Fulgar out of the toad, though the success of such a move remained to be seen.
Capala had had enough of these losers flailing about with their weapons. First it was that retarded goddess who couldn't tell a joke from a slice of cheese, yes it was that bloody bad, and now while he had been wandering around with this group of fellow wannabes and rejects, lead by a pep talking, annoying succubus, inspecting a potential place to actually work out the literal fuck kind of situation he had found himself in in this world, it had been attacked by Giant Toads. Of all bloody things, Toads? Oh well. Shouldn't be that tough right? Well, if how his fellow beginner adventurers were struggling was anything to go off of; they were all going to die. Killed by Toads, not exactly the way he thought anyone could go to be honest. Ignoring the Toad being assaulted by lightning girl and a small, green goblin Capala grabbed the bottom edge of his gloves and pulled it tightly. As he did, a loud burst of sound could be heard from the heavens. It felt like a concert was being played above of them, and while it might've hurt the ears of the others it didn't seem to bother Capala. While he wouldn't say he was used to it persay, he was kinda used to the volume of that damned floating piece of junk. Yes, the floating, invisible jukebox he had sarcastically asked from that air headed goddess. He still regretted saying that, but it was too late to change it so he would just have to live with it. Feeling the music begin to motivate him, as he always found himself motivated by music, he ran over to the Toad which had just recently lost a couple of limbs and decided to inflict some more possible pain on it, delivering a couple of quick punches before unsheathing his crappy, rusted dagger and going to stab it. As much as he hated the thing, and weapons in general, he doubted his fists could really damage the thing so this was worth at least a shot.
Well, I have a grade two hamstring strain now. So that's a thing. Fun days, though I suppose this frees up my saturdays a little more for the next three or so weeks XD
