Hello out there! My name's Mason. I like a lot of random stuff like comics, Masters of the Universe, M*A*S*H, X-Files, conspiracy theories, as well as a good superhero themed role play! I'm more of a DC freak than a Marvel zombie but I did grow up on mutants and 3rd string heroes. Once in awhile I'll make a few micros in MSPaint for my RP's because I love designing heroes as much as I do writing/reading about them. I'm about to try and get another random themed game off the ground, if you're interested gimme a shout!

I've been RP'ing for awhile. I mostly RP to keep my writing skills up to par, and I generally RP between Casual and Advanced. I've been a member of the guild for quite a bit, pre Guildfall even. Ninety percent of the time you'll find me in some superhero themed RP or something based off of another fandom like MotU or Power Rangers. Currently in the process of developing my own comics!
Favorite DC heroes (I won't go into villains to save space) in no order: Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (the clone), Swamp Thing, Starman, Animal Man, the Ray (90's era), Impulse, Captain Atom, and Batman Beyond.
Favorite Marvel heroes list: Human Torch I & II, Capt. Mar-Vell, Black Bolt, the classic Destroyer, Havok, Multiple Man, classic Scarlet Spider, Spiderman 2099, Nova, and Colossus.
OTHER FAVORITES: Space Ghost, the Rocketeer, the Maxx, Shadowhawk, Green Hornet, Madman, Doctor Star/Andromeda, the Phantom, He-Man, and Zorro.

I'll look into Titans Academy. But I do hope that this RP gets off the ground. I've always been interested in WWII era supers and how they evolve over the years.
Another idea was a Golden Age setting just with OC's. I think my next Interest Check will just be a general ideas thread with a handful of concepts.
Probably need another player as our Hawkwoman doesn't appear to be as active as some of the rest of us....
I just don't think the interest was there for this one, even after the Black Adam film hit theaters. I've got a couple more ideas for RPs written up, just trying to decide which one to roll with. One idea is an X-Men - New Mutants idea with a theme: making DC characters into mutant variants in the Marvel landscape. @Sir Lurksalot If you switch Superman to Captain Marvel/Shazam and Aquaman into Neptune Perkins it would be much more in line with the Society. I think I remember this guy from the old Justice League Unlimited days.

Arsenal looked at both of the young female heroes. Training these kids in the field was the reason Wally and Vic gave him the call. He turned and looked back at the others and began to explain the controls, and where things were located. Being a member of both the Titans and the League, Roy was familiar with the technology.
“Just through that door over there is a small staircase that leads to the control room. You can generate just about anything as far as a setting goes… New York skyline, shopping mall, mountain terrain… there’s at least three dozen presets. Enemy holo-droids have difficulty settings from one to ten. One being common street thugs and bank robbers, with ten being Doomsday or even a mind controlled Superman. Another one of the settings is for including civilians, or rather droids that look like them. This is to work on things like controlling your environment, search and rescue scenarios, defending bystanders from harm… you get the idea.” Arsenal explained.
“How do we use the War Room if we’re down here by ourselves?” Alex asked the experienced hero.
“Easy… you don’t.” Arsenal explained getting right to the point, “None of you are experienced enough to go in alone without somebody in the control room. For now the drone difficulty settings are limited too, with the harder difficulties requiring one of the mentors. Ninety-nine percent of the time I’ll be down here. My quarters are actually down here, if anybody needs me for anything…”
“Do we have to wait for them to get out before we get to use the costume maker?” asked a mild-mannered twenty-something metahuman in the back.
“Yeah I don’t wanna forget the symbol I thought of using!” replied another seemingly faceless hero in the back that was actually a student in the art of ventriloquism.
Minutes later…
“Okay, girls… this is hero versus villain. Shattercrash, you’re the villain. Bank scenario. Seven civilians. Shatter, you gotta get the money and make your exit by whatever means. Shuri, you’ve gotta keep the civilians safe as well as try to take her down. Don’t kill each other…” Arsenal said from the control room over the intercoms before walking back down the staircase to the rest of the class.
“Now who wants to try the digitizer next?” Arsenal asked with a smile while the girls got some of the class’s attention on the viewing screens.

As of now there's five accepted character sheets and a few interested parties but not any other sheets. Still need another player or two with completed sheets before we can move this one any further...

Another one or two peeps yeah. I usually don't go forward with an OOC and IC till I have a full cast. Every single time I've jumped the gun and posted them early the RP doesn't go anywhere. Glad to see some peeps are still super down for this. I was hoping Black Adam's film would have people more interested in the JSA...
