I just remembered that I once read a creepypasta about slenderman killing Hitler and it was actually pretty good. Grammar-wise and stuff I mean, but it was about still slenderman killing hitler :|

I wanted to find out how to communicate to wild Buns that I am their ally but it's a bit late because there's only one around our house now ;_;

Second floor and above Info from Discord:

The second floor's pretty much clear. I said before that there aren't any students on this floor, so you can run through it without checking rooms. Do be mindful however that Mephisto's students are on this floor, however, and they corralled a bunch of imps into the hallway. You have free reign to plow through the imps, but the Mephisto's students will be a problem.

For the sake of moving the pace along, please limit yourselves to 1 on 1s, if you fight at all. Otherwise make a break for the third floor and begin searching rooms.

There are two St. Laurel's students to be found on the third floor. Which room they are located in is up to either the co-gm or me, depending on who's present. They'll be unconscious and with a standard amount of imps around them.

On the 4th floor there's one student, on the 5th floor there's another two, on the 6th there's none (and you can pretty much time-skip checking rooms), on the 7th there's two, and on the 8th there's one with a final boss, probably. We'll see how tired we get, I guess.

Please mention beforehand in the general RP thread which rooms you will be checking so that we can confirm whether there's a student inside or not.

Room numbers are level number followed by room number, starting at x01 from the left hall going right, up the stairs.

For example, level 3 rooms would go 301, 302, 304… etc.
Alto was gone. There were two other Student Council members finishing their duties, but the Student Council President had left before them. The remaining members almost didn't notice William entering.

"Oh William? Were you looking for Alto?" One of them asked. Narrative role of familiarity made them see him as another council member. That reaction perhaps meant another council member had entered in a similar manner. "He left a little while ago, he still had time to organize his desk though."

If William were to go to his desk, he'd see some stacks of papers. It was mostly admin work for tournament preparations, but there was something more interesting underneath. A bit of a dossier on Mephisto, it would seem. 'Photocopy' was clearly printed on the corner. It contained information on Mephisto's known history and businesses, but nothing much about his personal life or anything about him really. It did however contain information on where his businesses were located.

Why Alto had this was anyone's guess, but if William was having difficulty with getting leads, perhaps starting a little bit smaller in scale might help.

Alright everyone, now's the time for our first controlled combat encounter. Instead of going back and forth post by post, there's going to be a combat encounter text channel in the discord where whoever's fighting can talk out what they do. Hopefully it'll cut down waiting time, but it may or may not depend on people being awake. In that case I'll hand over control of the encounter to someone else.

With that out of the way, here's the moves for the tiger.

Swipe - The tiger slashes with its claws. Enough to put deep scratches in the walls, best not get hit unless you have some defence on you.
Bite - Stronger than a swipe, and it'll hold onto you if it gets you. Needs to be close enough to use it though, obviously.
Lunge - Jumps at you to attack with a swipe or a bite. You can see its eyes homing in on a target, and it preparing before lunging so it's possible to dodge but difficult.
Shock - It can emit a short-ranged electric shock. The shock isn't too strong, but it'll knock melee opponents back. The lightning counts as magic, but the source of the lightning is deep inside the tiger so magic dispelling won't get rid of all of it at once.

Generally speaking, the tiger acts like a normal tiger and will attack whoever's closest. If it manages to wound someone seriously though, you'll have to distract it to get it off of them.
Opportunity, We Are Here

How foolish to send a rescue party outnumbered by the people they were yet to save. Or perhaps the foolishness belonged to the one who'd tied their own hands to begin with. Still, it wasn't as if she could unleash all of her minions and expect it to be over within a few seconds. She'd need to test their powers.

"Grimoire, come to me." Clara muttered, an ornate black book appearing in her hand.

The Black Book was her blessing from the Gods. The thought that all gods were just and kind was wrong. They gave their blessings to humanity so that they might repel the Ancient Evil, but their reasons were not all the same. To give power is such a simple thing for them. And yet, this power was everything for the humans. The Black Book was curious, because it has the capacity for good or evil.

Subservience until death, even for the most powerful Demon if the ritual is performed correctly. However, the God of Death does not discriminate between human, demon, or otherwise. It can be unleashed on anyone, or anything.

"Yes... This will do." She decided.

This one was a relatively powerful familiar. A demonic tiger, fast, agile, and it packed a nasty surprise for close-range fighters. They shared a look, before it began to lope down the stairs. Clara turned and walked towards the next floor.

"Now, let's begin in earnest."
Mephisto's students are now on the second floor. You can continue to clear out the first floor if you wish, there's no rush just yet.

Clara will be standing menacingly near the entrance to the second floor. If you find her, I'll want you to stop for a second so I can monologue with her. :D
"We've been handed an opportunity to use St. Laurel's self righteousness against them." Clara replied.

Indeed, St. Laurel had seen fit to keep their mistakes quiet, which is an understandable position. It's not impossible to keep a secret forever, as long as you can eliminate every factor which would let it come to light. But St. Laurel's didn't have the drive to bring about such a thing. They didn't have the courage to commit to the road they had taken a half-step onto.

Alto would likely come along later. They had a good chance of destroying him as well. There wouldn't be a better chance to try it anytime soon.

"We'll make them realize the extent of their foolishness."

"Glad you asked!" King exclaimed, bringing out an odd weapon from behind the altar.

It was a beautiful silver Claymore, but with a rather strange addition to the pommel.

"This is the Bing Bong sword." He said, placing a weird emphasis on the Bing Bong.

There was a small, ornate bell attached to the end of the pommel. It seemed to sway slightly even though there was no wind.

"96% consecrated silver, this thing can take out ghosts in one or two hits!" Now it was an ad from the shopping channel? "I don't know which one of you can use it best so I'll just give it to... Brutus!"

He placed the sword in the other boy's hands. Now that it was closer to them, they could actually feel the power coming off of the sword. This wasn't some random silver sword with a bell strapped onto it... Well it was, but it sure felt like something else.

"I know I called it the Bing Bong sword but it doesn't really Bong, it mostly just Bings," He said. "You should probably be worried if it Bongs . Anyway, that's all from me. Hope you all have fun!"

With that, King lifted through the air and out of the open window, carrying his sizable stack of cat posters.

"Not getting caught isn't enough. We cannot be suspected." Clara chimed in. "It would be easy to guess who would try such a thing, and they hardly need a reason to band against us."

Assassinating Alto was a great idea and all, except even if the crime didn't make it obvious, there was only a handful of people in the entire city who'd do such a thing. Mind you it wasn't impossible to perpetrate such a thing without the ability to be suspected. Just that they couldn't do it now. The easiest way would be to kill him when there was no possible way they would be able to, but there were a multitude of ways they could be somewhere they couldn't be to begin with.

Suddenly a beholder flew in. A black bat with a single large eye, these were Clara's reconnaissance drones.

"Well now... it looks like we've spied something interesting." She said.

Vanishers 1

To many parents in the city of Rhea, St. Laurel's was an ideal. A shining example which set the bar for other schools in the city of Rhea. And to some extent, it really was, but as to all things, St. Laurel's has a darker side. Not a dark side mind you, the light's just somewhat dim.

It was something Alto was reminded about every so often.

Now as he read the latest in the large line of duties he was assigned, he wondered.

How the f*** is this in my pay grade?

You may think this is uncharacteristic of Alto, and you'd be right, but there was a pretty good reason for it. St. Laurel's was almost allergic to bad reputation. They tend to cover up incidents a lot, not even just bad ones, almost everything. Someone got expelled? They did everything they could do. Promising student under-performs? Certainly not the pressure. It usually fell to the Student Council to take care of it, although it seems like they really dropped the ball on this one.

8 students went missing at an abandoned apartment building. Similar people. Perhaps they were targeted, perhaps they were just kindred spirits. Whatever the case, they were traced to the same apartment building, and then the preliminary report came back to say it was haunted.

At that point, the task had been slid over to Alto.

It was… An interesting situation to say the least, but as Student Council President it was his duty to take care of it. Some would say it was high time St. Laurel's management had a talking to, but doing that wasn't going to get those missing students back. He would've liked a bit more time as well, but any longer and their disappearance would be noticed and that was not a situation St. Laurel's wanted yet.

He could only choose certain students. Ones that were smart enough to run, but ones who would do the job. Alto would follow, but he had to complete his duties first. This haunting shouldn’t be too major of an issue, but Alto could only hope he wasn't the students into the maw of hell itself.

Unbeknownst to all, a small flying black creature peeled off of the Student Council room's window and flew away into the sky.

@KillamriX88 @HeroicSociopath "He has a... useful ability." Clara says with clear disdain. "And he's here to keep me on my toes."

Members for the Student Committee were chosen by Mephisto, of course. Why Rurik was chosen wasn't a reason that escaped Clara, she just didn't appreciate his presence awfully much. To be led by committee meant no one person could make a decision. On such a committee, it was important to have a diverse range of people, and people who with contradicting views.

"Nevertheless, winning legitimately is not a strategy I can place 100% faith in." She continued. "There are people stronger than us, and there could be variables we can't forsee. If we want to win, our task is to make sure these variables never become an issue."

On the subject of Mephisto, most of the Committee who would've ever thought about it would think Mephisto had pretty good chances of making it out unscathed.

"The Principal told me to take it as a challenge." Clara said, referring to Gilliam's question about Mephisto. "But in this school, we rule by committee. If the committee decrees it, then we will free Mephisto. If they do not, then we will not."
