@Templar Knight

Yeah, I'm down!

Kasuke Mina

"I got a few nuggets of advice," Mina replied to Dulga, after having listened to Jett's explaination of Jett's familial nature. "But it was all good advice that I needed to hear. I think I owe him an apology next time I see him. I brushed him off because he was being fatherly to me and it was making me uncomfortable. He meant well, though. I shouldn't have stormed off the way I did. It's just...when I think I'm being compared to my mother, or I think that people are viewing me as 'Seductress' daughter', I can't stand it. I don't want to live under her shadow."

Just then, Fumika's sister Asuka showed up, acting noticeably fake. Mine let out an irritated tut, before smiling herself, all the irritation bleeding out of her face. Mina didn't have gal-mode, but she did have lady-mode, and with a courteous nod of the head and a shift in stance, she looked like she belonged at a charity ball, making small talk to some CEO's wife. The two distict styles of fake friendliness clashed, creating a surprisingly tense atmosphere.

"Oh, yes! Hello, Motome-san!" She greeted, politely ignoring the request to be called Asuka. "Of course I could help you find your sister! We would naturally search the dorms first."

When Harukaze was brought up, Mina dropped the act, and was relieved by it. She was however as annoyed as Jett that she hadn't come to see him herself, in person. Jett better be as mad about it was he was about Mina herself not having seen him all this time, otherwise she'd be mad at him for choosing favourites. Her being his old childhood crush didn't make it better. In fact, that thought only made her more bitter. Jett's quirk then chose that moment to teleport him away, and Mina looked around, unable to see him.

She'd have continued her search, but yet another person then chose to impose upon the group, and now Mina was feeling that things were getting too busy and too crowded for her liking, and without Jett, didn't really see a reason to be here. She listened to Toru, then, still in lady-mode, smiled patronisingly at him. "I'm afraid I will be escorting Motome-san to the girl's dorm, so I regrettably won't be able to help you. Tatara-san, you're free, correct? You'll be able to lend him a hand."

That subtle joke about Dulga having six arms and Toru having one being made, Mina then turned to Asuka, and the facade of ladylike friendliness dropped. However, Mina was still smiling a small, wry smile. "Are you tired of that act yet? If not, you've got to teach me how to keep it going. Anyway, shall we?" she gestured, towards the girl's dorms.

Mako Akane

Mako barely felt the nudge, but looked over to Persia all the same, appearing to notice her for the first time. The girl seemed very polite, though, and it was an accident. It was the nickname of 'Ko-Ko Sensei' that really grabbed Mako's attention. That was quite a cute nickname, and she'd never had a nickname before!

"Ko-Ko Sensei?" She chimed, amused. "I like that. Tell me, what's your name? As for Amane, well, I wouldn't give him that much credit. Yes, that is what he's doing and why he's doing it, but I wonder if he knows that yet..."

@pkken
I won't even be able to start until the weekend, so yeah.
Dat picture, and the quirk....

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi watched concerned as Nomoe, somebody who suggested cutting off your own breasts as a solution to wising they were smaller, tried to wake Tomoe up by essentially suffocating her until the danger signals from her brain forced her to wake. From Tomoe's smile at watching herself struggle, Hitomi thought it a good thing that Nomoe disappears when Tomoe's awake, otherwise she wasn't sure Nomoe would have actually let go of her own accord. That smile, and look in her eyes...Hitomi didn't think she'd ever really get used to Tomoe's quirk and prayed she didn't have to see much of it again. When Tomoe woke, she even looked a little panicked.

"You woke yourself up," the sheep girl replied. "Your other self suffocate you awake. It was quite creepy. Anyay, I told them we'd be there in a few minutes. It's a good job you slept in your clothes. Let's head off. I'm sorry, but bed can wait. If you want, you can walk behind me and use my hair as a pillow until we get there."

Arriving at the meeting point outside the cafeteria with scarcely a minute to spare, Hitomi and Tomoe showed up. "Sorry we're late," Hitomi apologized, bowing. "I had to wake Tomoe up."

Hitomi looked around. There were the two sides, battle lines drawn. Classmates Hitomi knew well fro last year disperces evenly between both sides. Five general studies students formed the judging panel, with White Hat as the supervising member of staff. Everything looked professional, and Hitomi was starting to get pumped.

Kasuke Mina

Jett was talking to her in a friendlier tone now, and offering her get her some ice for her eye, as well as offering her some good advice. She did need to stop beating herself up. This setback would only make her stronger. These mistakes were just more lessons. She hadn't fallen down the ladder to become the best. She'd climbed it. Dulga arrived at that moment, robbing her of the experience of having Jett tenderly apply ice to her face. Her initial reaction was disappointment, but then she thought about it and was actually glad of being spared of that embarrassing situation. There was no way she could have avoided blushing like a radish.

"Hello, Tatara-san. I'm fine, really. How're you? Is your foot okay?" Mina asked in a friendly, pleasant and respectable yet impassive tone, more appropriate for asking your friend about the weather than asking someone who gave you a black eye about the condition of the hole you lasered into their foot.

Jett hen asked Mina if Adrianne asked anything weird, and she shook her head, despite the blush forming on her cheeks. It seemed that no matter which route she went down with Jett, she couldn't remain cool and impassive. "She didn't actually say much to me at all. Your grandfather was there, too, though, and he did. He was treating me like family. I'm assuming it's because he was so close with my mother."

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi gestured behind her, to her own bed. "Why are there two beds if this was a one person room? I'm Tomoe's friend and roommate. You really think those posters are hers? Or that training equipment? And I didn't choose these horns or ears. They're my quirk, just as you're Tomoe's quirk. I didn't choose my chest size either. That's just genetics, I guess. Honestly, I wish they were smaller..."

Just then, Hitomi's phone buzzed, and she pulled it from her pocket and opened it. It was a flip phone with a little fluffy sheep charm dangling from it. She read the text, texted back 'We'll be there in a few minutes', then closed the phone.

"It's time. Tomoe and I promised we'd help Asahi-San. I'm not sure how your quirk works. Whether I should wake her, or you wake her, or if that's even a good idea. Another option is that you come with me."

Mako Akane

"You didn't miss much at all, miss Akasha!" Mako replied to Mamoru's question. "Come and sit down!"

Mako then turned to watch the fight. They were currently circling around each other and sizing each other up. Then the fight started, though at this point, it was still the preliminary sizing up of each other. Amane charged, Ruby played defensively. Amane charged again, and feinted, but Ruby's efficiency was stunning. She only moved when she needed to, and was so calm and observant that Mako wondered if those cat ears were just for show, or if she actually had some feline physiology in her too in addition to her actual quirk.

There was a lot of trash talking in this fight. Mako could appreciate that. Trash talking was an important part of fighting, in Mako's opinion. It's what separates Heroes and Villains from vigilantes and brutes; personality. Mako believed that Heroes should wisecrack and drop one-liners and catchphrases, and Villains should taunt and insult and call out weaknesses and hypocrisy.

As the fight went on, it became clear that Ruby's reflexes were no match for Amane's skill, experience and training. It was only natural. She was a promising General Studies student, but was starting from square one when it came to being taught by the academy how to fight. Then more trash talking. Mako saw that though Amane was rough with words, he meant well with them. When he said 'stay down if you know what's good for you' it came from a place of concern, and when he said 'If that's all you've got, quit', he was urging his opponent to push themselves. Mako was starting to think that he wasn't such a hopeless case after all.

Is there a minimum wordcount?

"I know our quest is simple," Eilidh replied, smiling, "But it has been too long since I was called upon as an adventurer instead of a warrior. It's nice to talk to you too. We haven't spoken since we were introduced several days ago."

She was asked about her kind bu Neil, and after an exchange where she couldn't help giggling to herself, as asked the same thing by Ditzy. "The Centaurs," she began, "Are a tribal race. We live in small settlements largely comprised of females, with one alpha male and occasionally a second, younger male. The men fight each other over the role of alpha for a tribe. Everybody is trained to fight, as natural prey run fast on the grasslands and can hide, so we must hunt other predators to survive. we must also fight other tribes for ownership of fertile or strategic land. It is...a fulfilling, exhilarating way to live, though I do not miss it. As for your question, Ditzy, all Centaur are strong, and most are about as pretty as me. I've never thought of myself as particularly pretty."

The church they were to visit was not Eilidh's church. In fact, they passed Eilidh's church on the way there, or rather the place where it stood, now a field for vegetables. All signs that a building had ever stood there had been erased. The holy woman was subdued and upset for the rest of the journey. However, when they reached the church, she was glad her abandoned sanctuary had not been allowed to fall into such disgraceful ruin, and that cheered her up somewhat. At least the Old Church of the Benevolent Queen was helping people to the very end instead of merely spoiling a view.

The Priestess was dressed peculiarly on this trip, lest she be recognized. Moster Girls may not be the most welcome sight in Pravar but at least they didn't warrant a calling of the guards. A traitor less than a day's travel away from her birthplace was a sight more dangerous. She was adored in drab grey rags, with a headscarf wrapped around her head and face. She was also wearing her estoc outside her clothes instead of concealed under her skirt. She looked like a rogue rather than a Lady.

When they approached the church, an old woman was present, lamenting a missing man called Peter whom Rebecca assumed to be her fiance. Yang was to journey to Ambran and fetch her husband. Meanwhile Lily was expressing desire to explore the church, and Maria was chiding her, explaining that they should be helping the old woman. Rebecca approached the two.

"Maria, if you accompany Yang to Ambran, I shall supervise Lily and explore the Church. Besides, if there is to be a wedding here, they will need a Priest or Priestess."

Rebecca then approached the old woman. "My Lady, if they are to fetch your husband, then surely we must make arrangements so that all else will be ready when they return. I do have some experience in Pravarian wedding vows, but we can discuss more inside."
