Din felt the soothing effect of Blazermate's healing beam fix up her arm, but the robot's words did little to comfort her. Still the thought of death claiming her other allies steeled her to persevere. Looking around, it seemed as if her allies were managing their individual health well enough on their own, so the priority was downing the major threat of Megadragonbowser. Din was unsure how she could add to the damage that was already being done to the titanic beast. But as Oracle of Seasons, she had some understanding of how temperature affected matter, and considering that the creature's blood consisted of what resembled molten earth, Din wondered if rapidly cooling the exposed magma might have some sort of catastrophic effect. At worst it would solidify the blood that had pooled at his feet, perhaps petrifying him to the ground, at best it would fill the inside of his belly with rocks, which seemed a pretty gruesome thought. At any rate, Din stepped out from hiding and launched several balls of the Spell of Winter in Megadragonbowser's direction.

Vivian & Sylvia Altissima

Morgan had committed the mistake of calling this a dream, because obviously this was Vivian's dream, or so Vivian thought, which means Morgan wasn't real, and was therefore, bringing doubt to her own existence. "B-but if this is a dream, th-then you're not re-"

Vivian had committed the mistake of calling this a dream, because obviously this was Sylvia's dream, or so Sylvia thought, which means Vivian wasn't real, and was therefore, bringing doubt to her own existence, unless this was Morgan's dream, in which case, neither Sylvia nor Vivian were re- "Look! Let's just drop the whole dream bit, alright? But Morgan's still right, dream or not, we have to protect ourselves."

Fortunately, Morgan had wheeled them into a small stone hut, which should provide decent cover for the time being. But if there was one thing that was quite good at protecting from explosions, it had to be layers and layers of sediment. The liliraune's vines and roots pulled the twins out of their pot. Getting Sylvia's idea, Vivian aided in coordinating. "Stand back," she directed Morgan. Their roots and vines then began furiously burrowing at the dirt beneath them. This was a practiced technique for whenever the liliraune needed to plant themselves to absorb nutrients from the soil, only this time, they didn't stop at just planting themselves. Instead, the kept going, displacing a great deal of soil, the plan being to dig a deep enough, and large enough hole for the liliraune and Morgan to hide within, while possibly covering the entrance with a stone slab.
"Yeah, that's the pirate captain I'm tailing," Handel replied, peeking out the door into the hold. "But the fact that Bakuto is following her is news to me." She wondered if the captain had picked up another crew member. "But you're pretty bold to criticize the government to a member of Cipher Pol," Handel said, attempting to keep up her ruse, "Treasonous talk like that could get you in trouble. But if you plan on sneaking aboard, I'm not going to out you to my crew. And if you reveal yourself, I'll just claim ignorance. But if you're sticking around because you still think I'm an actual traitor, then you're wasting your time. Besides, if you don't trust me, how can you be sure I won't slip you some chocolate in your dog food one night and have you shit yourself to death?"
Haruishi Mari

Quirk: Born to Run (Thunder Road)

"Well, from a quick headcount, there's twenty-one students, so there's no threat of anyone getting left out, or any uneven teams, for that matter," Mari replied to Kai matter-of-factly. "Haruishi Mari," she introduced herself, "And this is Suguro...-san?" Mari turned to hear Umi declare her preference to staying with Hiroki and watched in bewilderment as the the smaller girl ran away. Since Umi had followed readily enough, Mari had to assume that she was not the cause of Umi's sudden departure, which only left Kai as the culprit. But Mari decided not to assume any bad history between the two, choosing instead to blame it on shyness, which Umi had demonstrated an abundance of. So much for hand-holding the timid girl, Mari thought to herself, but since Hiroki was the one to get her to do a collaborative demonstration with him, perhaps she was in better hands with the brash, blue boy. Turning back to Kai, Mari explained, "Suguro-san is...very shy, but that leaves our team unfilled." She looked around the field, but if her count was correct, then even if everyone else had already formed teams, there would be someone left to join hers.

As it turns out, Yasu walked towards Mari and Kai, and asked to join. Mari's initial assessment of Yasu was that she was unmotivated and irreverent; not taking her education seriously, which was something Mari couldn't forgive since she saw education as a blessing that many people unfortunately took for granted. Yet here she was, taking the initiative and making the effort to put herself out there and join a team. Perhaps Yasu's irreverence was just her way of acting 'chill', or maybe it was a weak attempt at humor. Mari disregarded all that and decided to give yasu the benefit of the doubt and to just judge Yasu based on her current effort and nothing more. "Yes, it seems we are down a person. Glad to have you on board, Hayakawa-san," Mari greeted. "So this exercise is similar to the entrance exam, but I think there's one major difference. Uranishi-sensei stated that there was a family of dummies. If we're all going into the forest at once, that means there will be twenty-one of us. I can't imagine the family is larger than ten individuals, which means we might not all be performing rescue operations. If anything, it'll be likely many of us will be engaged in fending off whatever dangers the teachers have set up for us." Mari had learned from the exam that while rescue was the priority, it was an impossible task if one did not neutralize existing threats. "This might be good for us, since I don't know if our team is exactly optimal for forest rescue, but I'm getting ahead of myself, Mori-san here was late and missed the quirk demonstrations, so we'll need to tell him about our quirks, and vice versa. I can sprint very fast, up to sixty miles per hour. I create lightning if I go above thirty." Mari then waited for Yasu and Kai to explain their quirks.

Thanks. Although I feel this party is sorely in need of a pure healer. Hint to the next person to join.

Yo! So I expressed interest in this back in the Int Check, because it looked like a fun idea and I didn't want it to die, but I may have over-committed, since I don't think I have the bandwidth to hop into another RP right now. Anyways, I'm glad this has taken off, and I'm just saying this to let you know that you don't need to wait for me and can give whatever spot you may have reserved for me to another eager player. I hope everyone here has fun!
Sorry, I'll try to get a post up in a day or two
