Azriel listened as Xenelith spoke, following back towards the tent as she wished to see the sketches. There was a part of her itching to fly after the rebels immediately, however at the mention of spies got her thinking. It was always better to know your enemy, to not underestimate. On the flip side it was also good to get your enemy to underestimate you. It had her mind reeling, a thought and beginnings of a plan forming.

They got to the tent and moved to the sketches, studying each face on them as Xenelith continued talking and explaining that he suspected the female fairies didn't really know what they'd gotten themselves into. Good, that meant at least some where underestimating them. This was perfect.

"Hold off the attack for a moment." She said as she set the sketches down and looked between her companions as she thought. "General Faister you asked about spies and it's actually got me thinking. Could we perhaps find a way to infiltrate this group?" The question was directed at all in the tent, however she looked at O'Ner. She knew little of the man, but she did know one of his specialties was magic. She didn't know what kind of magic, but perhaps he had something useful.

After a short moment she turned her attention to Xenelith. "I commend you Commander for thinking to take the families of the two females captive. It may be of benefit to us to see if your men are successful and if we can't find a way to infiltrate the group then we can fall back on using their loved ones as bait." She told him as she gave an approving grin. She hoped Umber would continue monitoring their emotions as well if that's truly what he was doing. She was fairly positive he was, though.

Kenia kept a pleasant and apologetic look on her face as Terneus began speaking. It's Kenia, you asshole. She thought irritatedly as he got her name wrong, yet at the same time she wasn't entirely surprised that he didn't remember her name. He was probably too busy admiring himself when she introduced herself...every time she introduced herself…

"Thank you, my lord. You are so kind and generous, the Light Elves are lucky to have you ruling over them." She would shower him in compliments and flattery to keep on his good side even though she didn't mean a word of it. She could put on many masks, a skill she picked up many years ago and something she did well with. It helped get her out of many sticky situations. "If I come across any humans or any of those DROMs I will be sure to inform you, my lord." The lie came out smoothly, without any hint of nervousness.

Terneus then wanted to go into the cave due to the natural crystals that grew in there and Kenia almost sighed in frustration. She kept a neutral expression, however, as she nodded in compliance. "Of course, my lord, I'd be happy to lead you up there. Be wary, however, as there is some muddy, wet areas near the back of the cave and can be quite slick." She informed him and this wasn't a lie, though she wasn't informing him just to earn him. She secretly hoped in May deter him a bit from traveling too far into the cave. "Also there is another weary traveler with me at the moment up there, he was nervous to come out and meet you as he didn't feel worthy to be in your glorious presence. I'm honored that you've allowed me to be graced by your presence. She said as she began moving back towards the entrance of the cave, hoping that she'd been speaking loud enough this whole time for Malachi to hear. She prayed he'd gotten the humans hidden in that alcove.

She let Terneus continue talking as she entered back into the cave and made quick eye contact with Malachi. She quietly counted the different knives she had hidden on her at the moment as well as around the cave. She even had some coated in paralytic poison in case she needed to use it. She considered throwing up and illusion over the alcove for extra assurance that the humans were hidden, but she didn't as she worried Terneus would be able to quickly recognize the use of light magic. Better to not use any magic and not act any more suspicious.

Elsea stood there listening to the people around her, or bickering in some cases and she could feel the heat running through her veins. All the noise, all the talking was just causing her temper to flare more even though some were trying to help. She could hear her heartbeat in her ears and her fists were clenching and unclenching as she felt like her blood was boiling.

"Come Elsea, we are getting out of here.”

That’s when she snapped. ”STOP GIVING ME COMANDS!” She screamed as flames erupted and engulfed her hands. Thankfully nothing else caught on fire and the flames remained contained to her hands. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing, focused on ways to cool the heat in her veins. She thought of the cool, snowy winters in the highlands. Slowly the fire began to extinguish and she peaked her eyes open to look at her hands. It worked? Well isn’t that intriguing… She thought to herself as she turned to look at everyone, finally landing on Elthrael.

”Let me make something very clear… Elsea began, her voice had a dangerous edge to it. ”You saved me, yes, and I will be eternally grateful for that. You do not, however, own me because of it. You do not get to tell me what I get to do. I am going to stick with this group and if that means hiding underground then so be it. It would be idiotic to split up as there are strength in numbers, like Risa said. As you said, we have no clue what that Amora brought, but I’m willing to bet it’s either enough to outnumber us or its a group that is going to be as strong, if not stronger than that Dark Elf.” She truly did have her father’s temper and with it came a headstrong attitude. She was also sick and tired of men telling her what she could do and what she couldn’t do. She was making her own decisions now.

She then whirled around on Jean-Luc and pointed at him. ”The same goes for you. Ah dinnae ken why you seem to think you command all of us, but you don’t. You haven’t earned any of my respect and so you don’t get to tell be what I do either. If you wish to ask me to do something then by all means do so, but do not command me to do anything. Also learn how to better explain your gods damned plans if you wish for people to listen to you.” She told him with an aggravated sigh before turning her attention to everyone else again.

”Now that I fully understand what the plan is I am more than happy to find these caves. I don’t give a rats arse if you men decide to stay here or what have you at this point, but I am going.” She told them all as she began stalking off down towards the lake like Jean-Luc has suggested to find the hole in the ground. She didn’t even care if anyone followed, though she did hope the two fairy women followed as they were the ones she didn’t mind at the moment.

Azriel watched as the dark elf and his beasts emerged from a tent. She gave him a nod in greeting in return to his welcome. She remained quiet at first, allowing the others to speak before she did. Umber’s words confirmed that he picked up on her thoughts and was most likely monitoring the emotions of the two she had seen. Perhaps there were even more? That would be quite the delightful treat.

She pulled out the charm from her pocket and held it out to Xenelith. ”Compliments of Lord Aklenroth. He has commanded us to keep these on ourselves at all times. It will allow him to find us when he needs. He also wishes you to send what information you have on any of the humans and their accomplices.” She told him, passing on the information Aklenroth had told them to. She figured he could easily give the info to the dark elf in the Amora to send swiftly back to the lich.

”As for the sketches, I would like to see them. However, Umber is correct. As the Amora was landing I did spot a dark winged, white haired fairy carrying a red haired woman. If those fit any of the descriptions of your prey then we know the direction they are at. If we move swiftly we may be able to get the drop on them.” She said with a gleeful smirk as she readied herself to lead them in the direction she’d seen the two. She was ready to hunt, almost eager in a way.

So many things were happening at once and it all just fueled Elsea’s irritation, however she knew she needed to keep herself in control. She took a quick calming breath, but it didn’t keep her calm for too long. She glanced back at Elthrael who seemed to just be antagonizing Kyran and she rolled her eyes. Now was surely not the time to be playing such games. If there were enemies on the rise she did not feel prepared to face them as she had no idea how to control her magic. It responded to her emotions, yes, but it was unpredictable. She had just as much of a chance of hurting those around her than landing an actual blow on the enemy.

"Oh no. That could be very bad. We should get far away from here. It could be anything I suppose but just in case."

The female fairy spoke her thoughts exactly, she didn't like being so close to the Amora. She took another breath, knowing she needed to keep from shouting anymore. Her attention was turned back to Jean once more and rolled her eyes again. "Your words are doing wonders at inspiring anyone to listen to you. She said to Jean after he called them cowards, her voice dripping with sarcasm. Her eyes began to scan the area, watching for potential enemies along with searching for a direction to go or a place to safely hide.

Her eyes flicked back to Jean once more as he began ordering them around and she scoffed. "You must be completely daft if you think I'm going to leave you two alone with each other. You'll probably kill one another." She crossed her arms over her chest a bit defiantly. "Besides, who decided you were the one in charge? You have no knowledge of this land or the people that live here. You have no clue exactly what they're capable of. So why would I ever trust you in a land that is a stranger to both of us? I'd much rather listen to the natives." She exclaimed with a shake of her head.

Kyran began to speak, explaining some of what Jean was planning on doing and she was left with a decision. Perhaps they would have a better chance in a cave system, but who was to say that they enemy wouldn't find a way to follow? "And how, pray tell, do you expect me to light our way when I really have no control over my magic? Sure I understand that some of its connected to my emotions right now, but that is unpredictable. Perhaps I can create a small flame, yet again perhaps I create a massive eruption of flame that burns everyone. If that's a chance everyone really wants to take then fine. I'll go along with this plan, however, I still don't trust Jean and Elthrael alone together. So why does he need to stay here with Jean as well, someone explain that to me?" She knew she was being stubborn, but Elthrael was still the one she trusted the most at the moment and she couldn't justify leaving him behind without a good reason. Not unless he was okay with it all too. She realized the urgency, but she needed answers first before she followed Kyran.

Elsea hadn’t entirely thought of the fact that Elthrael may not know what Hell was. She, herself, didn’t actually believe in such a place as Hell, but thanks to her father she knew what it was and it seemed a fitting description of what Elthrael had been through. ”Hell is a place many from my world believe that a soul who has sinned goes to be punished and tortured in an eternal fire. It’s not a place I truly believe it, but I thought it sounded fitting for what you’ve been through.” She decided to explain as they began to descend towards the hut she had seen.

She glanced back up at the Amora once more, still feeling quite uneasy about it. Was she always going to have to keep on her guard in this place? Was this going to be her new life? She supposed it was something she was going to need to get used to, but had a feeling that was going to take a little while.

They landed and Elsea gave him a quick nod of understanding before she looked around. She would do her best to keep her magic under control as she really didn’t want to alert any of the enemies to their location. She didn’t realize that it was going to be a challenge, however, until the man with fox like features came charging at them. She felt a hint of fear at first, but it was quickly consumed by rage. ”Oi! Don’t be pointing that thing at us, fox boy!” She yelled at him in irritation as she took an angry step forward. She was halted in her tracks as one of the female fairies from the night before ran up to her and embraced her.

The flames she’d felt building in her veins quickly dissipated at the friendliness of the woman. After the moment of shock faded, she found herself hugging her back before Risa went to hug Elthrael. ”I’m glad we’ve found you all again as well. I suppose I can forgive him this time.” She said as she shot Kyran another irritated glare before looking back to Risa with a look of concern. ”I fear we may not be safe for too terribly long. There was an...Amora I think is what Elthrael called it? It was landing not too far from here and it gave me an uneasy feeling. Almost like someone was watching us.” She explained to Risa and Kyran.

The ground rumbling caught Elsea’s attention and she spun around to see a man had now joined them and he seemed upset. She stared at him a bit dumbfounded as he began to yell at Elthrael. ”O feumaidh tu a bhith a ’magadh orm.*” She muttered in Gaelic as she sighed. He then began addressing her and her eyes flew back to him once more, irritation beginning to fill her once again. ”Ach, seriously?! You can take your godly talk and shove it! This man you are calling a demon saved me, rid me of my shackles, healed me, and gave me a place to rest. What have you done for me so far? Nothing other than yell and make a ruckus with your….ground tremors! Now shut up and focus more on the fact that all this shouting and shaking of the ground may be alerting the potential enemies that just landed not too far from her!” She shouted at the human man as she pointed in the direction she’d last seen the Amora. There was the faintest flicker of a flame wanting to erupt from her other hand that sat at her side. She knew her own shouting probably wasn’t helping matters, but she couldn’t contain it.

*"Oh you have got to be kidding me."
Both Lor and Sindra nodded as they began to follow Kela. At the mention of Sindra having a choice of where to sleep, the pair glanced at each other. They still barely knew each other, however Lor could feel a bond starting to form with this dragon and Sindra was feeling the same. She could tell that Sindra wanted to stay with her, yet at the same time she knew it could be beneficial for her to stay with the other dragons and learn more about this place. She decided to leave it up to Sindra, because if Lor really wanted to find out more she knew she could do so by other means. "I think I shall stay with Lor tonight." The dragon stated simply.

Lor didn't argue one bit, even if she wanted to she didn't think she would have had the strength. She knew that once they got to the room she was going to be out like a light.
Sindra felt a little surprise and confusion at Ram's words. She had remembered some things about the old king, the good human king that ruled before the tyrant took over. She had also heard rumors that he was a dragon rider, but she never truly listened to those rumors. She'd always believed them to be stories and nothing more.

Lor's attention was once again pulled back to Kela and Damien, quite intrigued by what was happening. She couldn't see everything, however she did see the string of energy that seemed to be pulled from the woman's chest? How incredibly intriguing. Who was this woman?

Both dragon and elf remained silent as they waited for Kela to finish what she was doing with Damien. Lor was definitely starting to feel the exhaustion from the events of the day so when Kela offered them a room she nodded. "Thank you, I think we'd both be very grateful for a place to stay." She said as she glanced at Sindra who nodded in agreement. In the morning perhaps they'd all have more energy to discuss things.

Elsea listened as Elthrael explained that he thought the other group had made it out alright. She was glad that he had felt that way, but also hoped that he was right. If they were to defeat this tyrant king then they were going to need all the allies they could get. She wasn’t a fighter by any means, but she was willing to learn what she could. She knew, however, that her biggest asset would be to learn how to control her magic. That was going to be her best way of fighting.

She continued to listen, focusing most of her attention on him though she would occasionally sneak a look down to the forest floor. She was still getting used to being so high up and she felt butterflies in her stomach every time she would look down. They were slowly starting to dissipate each time she stole a glance down, however, and soon she knew she could maybe help scan the forest floor for the other group.

He began explaining how he had once lived in the River Kingdom and why he no longer lived there. Her heart felt a twinge of pain as at the mention of how the other inhabitants of where they were going had wished for his parents to cast him aside because of his appearance. How cruel someone must be to suggest a parent do such a thing to their child. She found herself silently beginning to judge this River Kingdom and the people who lived there.

At the mention of his parents deaths her heart seemed to break even more. Elthrael truly hadn’t had an easy life and had been wronged by so many. She was impressed that he didn’t seek vengeance on the ones who’d wronged him as she certainly would have. In fact she did seek vengeance on the ones who tried to burn her at the stake. She had spit foul curses at them before she had been sucked into this world, hoping that someone would cause Scotland to fall. She hoped that something terrible happened to all of them. When he fell silent for a few moments she found herself moving just a bit so she could kiss him on his cheek. ”It sounds like you have been through Hell and back all for how you look. People may fear you for your appearance, but I don’t.” She told him as she gave him a kind smile.

Elthrael’s words helped put her a bit more at ease, helping her trust him on the fact that he wasn’t going to hand her over to Aklenroth. The skeleton man had made pretty promises, but there was something about it that she didn’t trust. That and she really didn’t want to be sent back home as she would just be put back in a situation where death was waiting for her. At least here she had some freedom.

She listened closely to the rest of his words, at how Avalia was in desperate need of a new ruler, how she and the others of her kind held magic unlike anything else in this world, how everyone was going to need to eventually make a choice. It was a lot to take in, but she he spoke true, especially the part about her magic. She could see the part of the forest ahead of them that had been damaged by her fire. She needed to be able to control her magic otherwise it could destroy hers and other innocent people.

”I still don’t understand exactly how I got here and I recognize that being here is dangerous for me, however, I don’t wish to go back to where I came from. Yes there is a possibility that I may die here, but if I were to go back death would be a certainty. So I think I wish to stay here in Avalia, to possibly make this my new home as it seems the better choice right now. So I will fight to protect this place, I will learn how to wield my magic so that I can help you. We’ll make Avalia the best place it could ever be, I promise you that.” She told him, giving him a smile back as she felt herself forming a bond with him. It was small right now, but she knew given time it would grow. She would stick by his side and help his cause.

After a few moments her attention was drawn by something else, something in the air. Some sort of magical structure flying towards their destination and she got a bad feeling about it. ”Elthrael, what is that?” She asked, fear obvious in her voice as she pointed at the Amora. ”Something isn’t right about that thing, there’s something...dark about it. I think we should land, I don’t think we should get closer to that thing.” She told him, almost sounding desperate to land. It almost felt like they were being watched by someone. Her eyes began scanning the forest floor quickly when she spotted something. She almost hadn’t noticed it as it was quite hidden, but at a second investigating glance it looked almost like a hut. "There, look! Doesn't that look like a nice place to land?" She suggested as she pointed at the hut, trying to convince him to land. There was also the slight glimmer of something and she looked to it. It appeared to be a person, but they were still too high up to make out enough details. She didn't know if they would be friend or foe, but she felt better about landing there than continuing towards that thing.

For the remainder of the ride Azriel stood staring out the window, watching things pass by underneath them. She remained quiet as well, funding no need to speak as she just hoped the ride would be over soon. She wanted out of the contraption despite the fact that the flight went smoothly. So when Umber commanded the Dark Elf to stop she was thrilled.

She was about to turn away from the window when something caught her eye. She used her keen eyesight to take a closer look. There appeared to be a fairy flying towards them and he was carrying something...no, someone. She could make out the red hair of the woman and she found it curious that she was being carried. If it had been any other day she wouldn't have thought much about it, perhaps thinking that the fairy was flying an elf somewhere, but as there was the report of humans being in the land she found it slightly suspicious.

Her first instinct would have been to exit the Amora early and head towards the flying figures, but her training told her it was better to wait. Never underestimate anyone, it would be foolish of her to go after them without at least Umber. So she noted where they were and turned away from the window, deciding to bring it up once they met with Xenelith.

Umber made mention that he could sense the Dark Elf nearby and she grinned. "This shall be interesting for sure." She told him as she made her way towards the exit of the Amora. She was aware that Umber may have picked up on what she had witnessed moments ago. She even allowed the image to play in her mind for a few moments so he could note where they were at as well. "Perhaps this will be more fun than we initially anticipated." She said quietly to her friend as she walked past him was a dark grin before she followed O'Ner and his horse out. They needed to find out what Xenelith knew.
Oh my God I think I'm an idiot...I seriously thought I had posted a reply, but apparently I never actually sent it. I am SO sorry! I'll get a response up ASAP. God I'm such an airhead sometimes >_<!

Azriel watched and listened as Umber explained to her that it was her choice. She knew it was and she knew Umber wouldn’t force her to do anything anymore. She was no longer a child that needed to be told what to do, however she still found herself on occasions looking to Umber for guidance. Perhaps that was something she would always do for the rest of her life.

As he crushed the figures he’d conjured in his hand she flinched ever so slightly. He was right, it most likely would sap a vast majority of her strength to fly all the way there. Normally an angel could probably make the flight with no issue, however, she had to work almost twice as hard due to her injury from childhood. This thought alone just fueled Azriel’s irritation and she felt quite a bit more murderous than before.

”Fine…” She huffed more to herself as she begrudgingly entered the Amora. She had noticed the unease of the horse, who also seemed unhappy to fly in the Amora. She couldn’t help but feel a tiny bit of something for the horse as she understood the dislike of the machine. Sympathy perhaps? Was sympathy an emotion she was truly capable of? This was the thought she pondered as she found a place near a window, but didn’t sit. She would rather be on her feet, prepared for anything that could happen. Despite knowing that it was rare, she had a small fear that something would happen to the Amora and they would go down. She hated not being in control of flying.

At O’Ner’s words back to Umber, Azriel couldn’t contain the scoff from escaping her lips. ”Perhaps you are unaware as to what we Wraiths do, but competence on the battlefield is something we excel at. Defeating a foe, spilling blood, tourture, all these things are a beautiful art and we are artists. We are experts.” She said as she now looked to O’Ner, a chillingly sadistic grin gracing her lips. It was clear that she found quite a bit of joy in the work she did.
