• Attribute: Poison [Elemental]
• Personality: Some could claim Vicky’s personality is as toxic as her Attribute, but they’d be wrong. She considers herself neither amicable nor cancerous, but simply selfish as all humans are. As a result, her actions tend to be done with her well-being first and foremost in mind, although she’s not below ignoring help or teaming up with other Rift travelers. Nor would she outright consider herself a horrible person; just because she’d rather not stick her neck out for someone doesn’t mean she won’t, albeit begrudgingly.
Additionally, there’s never any hard feelings between her and the people she may end up throwing under the bus. At least for her. To Vicky, it’s just common sense to maintain one’s own self-being before jumping into the fray for others. Of course, she’s not stupid enough to voice that kind of philosophy so openly. With how rampant people are nowadays with their emotions, especially with Rifts existing in their world, it’s better to let her actions speak for themselves.
• Abilities: As expected of an Elemental Attribute, Vicky can produce and manipulate the element of poison. The actual substance is produced via her bodily fluids, mainly her blood and saliva. With both she can utilize her Attribute to manipulate the poison freely once extracted from her body, usually via spitting or bleeding out. The effects of her poison aren’t much in comparison to raw power. The poison from her saliva burns on flesh and lightly melts inorganic material while the poison from her blood brings paralyzes on contact.
Furthermore, as with most Elemental Attributes, she can freely manipulate any poisons that already exist. The effect of control is most akin to water, Vicky crafting it into deadly floating waves that can be utilized to several different degrees. Though there has to be actual poison around for this to be useful, but when in doubt, she can always produce a steady supply of her own.
• Skills: Considering the functions of her Attribute, Vicky has become quite the adept spitter. She can lob poison from an impressive distance of at least ten feet. Though for skills that aren’t gross to consider, she’s a surprisingly artful chew when it comes to culinary treats. Combat-wise, she’s not the greatest fighter, relying overtly on her Attribute, but she’s competent enough to grapple individuals away.
• History: Hailing from Scotland, Vicky has always been a bit of a freelancer for her life. As soon as she could read and write, she dreamt of traveling the world for the sheer thrill of exploration and adventure. In a world in which Rifts exist, they served as the perfect opportunity. It was during her early high school days when she had snuck out and away and no one was looking to enter a Rift. When she entered, she was only human, a normality in the flawed system. When she departed, she, like many who entered the Rift’s void, had obtained newfound powers.
Learning to control her poisonous body was initially a challenge, but one that was practiced upon and could be utilized to further her desire for thrills. Especially in her college days. Now having long since graduated from that naive youth, Vicky does what she wants where she wants to. With no one to tell her otherwise, she freely travels the Rifts to cater to her obsession.
Of course, this devil may care attitude has left her strained in relationships with other people, leading her to pick up a mentality of self-preservation above all else. And considering the dangers the Rifts provided, it only made sense for her to maintain her own survivability above all others. That said, if a new experience exists, she’s not above putting herself in danger for the sake of it, including teaming up with other adventurers.
• Other: Vicky carries around small vials on her form, each containing the two different poisons in her body. Each case can be easily shattered for quick use and easy access to a poison supply if she finds herself in fast need of her powers. Furthermore, her favorite foods to make are usually of the sweet-toothed, unhealthy sugar variety.
