Current Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been absolutely swamped with work these last weeks. I'm getting my replies up slowly.

Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

"Humanity takes great pride in three things. Their willpower, their greed and their mortality.

Their will and endless greed allows them to grow and accend past other creatures
But their mortality denies them divinity

It's a delightful purgatory between being Fallen and being Divine"

Karina had a sad expression on her face as she heard Chres talking about Sil. According to him, she had only said that she couldn't come back until she 'knows'... She knew that her absence would affect the group. Her presence was, after all, one of the few things that was able to distract them and brighten up the mood.

"She is... I'll miss her antics. I hope she comes back soon." Karina said with a delicate smile to Chres.

"Perhaps not in the traditional sense of the word but yeah... They are. They have their own ideas, their own personalities and their own ways to see the world around them." she replied with a calm, understanding voice after Chres' words. Seeing how he was as he held a metal glass pendant on his hand, with a sad, distant look on his face somewhat worried Karina. More than anyone, Chres would already be used in having Sil nearby. Her antics her happy and cheerful behavior was something he knew very well... and would miss the most too.

Standing up after thanking her though, Chres handed her the metal glass pendant, mentioning something about being weighting him down. Judging by the face he did before when looking and muttering at it, it had something to do with his painful past. Karina didn't knew how to react at first, simply holding the pendant in her hands with a bewildered look on her face. She was going to ask him if he was sure about that, going on how that apparently was precious to him but the moment she looked at his face, she knew that it was something he had to do. A something he had to get rid of if he wanted to keep going forwards and not be stuck to his past.

"Thank you, Chres. Sleep well, if you need anyone to talk with, don't be shy. It is an officer's duty to take care of her subordinates isn't it?" she said with a chuckle and a discreet smirk as Chres walked away.

The night was calm and uneventful for Karina, but she did spend some time before sleeping with the pendant on her hands, looking at it and thinking about everything. Her last thoughts were about the situation in the army... About how her father and the other officers would react when they knew about everything she had to say...

Sharon, Shalador

Mikhail had a distant look on his face as he walked away from the camp, aimlessly through the ruined town. He wasn't happy about the situation itself and being alone, thinking about it only made unwanted memories to resurface on his mind. Recent ones about certain contracts he had taken and from those, they came, like shards of glass cutting at the borders of his mind. Feelings of guilt, of loss, anger, sadness. A pain that was hard to identify from where it came...

Much to his surprise though, a voice sounded from behind interrupting his thoughts and forcing him to think straight. It was Gennar, the most... sensible and understanding of the brothers. Giving a deep breath, trying to push down those feelings and lock them deep within his mind, he looked at Gennar as he spoke to him, trying to comfort him and warning him of his 'state', saying that he shouldn't be wandering by himself.

"For people like me, there aren't many opportunities to be kind... To be someone else than an assassin. A tool to end someone else's life." Mikhail said with a distant voice, staying quiet for a moment.

"We all need something to remind us that we're still humans, that we still have emotions... This is especially true for me, seeing what I'm trying to get rid of." He finished as he looked at Gennar.

When Gennar spoke about Faeril, handing him the small healing web that was made by Faeril despite her exhausted state, more than the feeling of being grateful came to his mind. Somehow, that situation felt... familiar. The troubles that a sister's effort could bring... When did that happen...? Where those feelings were coming from? As he continued to, inadvertently dig his mind for answers, an almost forgotten face came to his mind, together with a the pain of loss and heaviness on his chest. He didn't know that face, yet he knew that he held it deep within his heart. Someone dear to him, and together with that, an agonizing pain and suffering... The feeling of having lost something important... Mikhail flinched for a moment, putting his hand over his face as he looked to the ground with his eyes wide open. Confusion and a mix of different emotions clear in his expression. Indeed, the warning came too late.

"Yes... I will try being careful. My mind seems to have a... cruel way of reminding me of my condition..." he spoke after a moment of silence as he grabbed the healing web that was delivered by Gennar. Despite his attempt to regain his composure, it was obvious that something had happened. What it was would be clear for Gennar, who already knew of his condition.
Ada

@Restalaan@ShwiggityShwah@Stern Algorithm@Rezod92

Ada was overjoyed with Yang and Haley's invitation for a bath, both because she would be able to play in the water and because she was finally going to get that annoying stench off her body. Strangely though, Ozzy did seem a bit troubled by the invitation, particularly with taking a bath with Haley and Yang. Ada had no idea why he had that reaction though. Did he dislike taking baths or there was another reason? Ada did look at him a bit confused, not understanding his reaction. Ditzy did ask for Ozzy to help clean himself, which he agreed upon, strangely enough, with less of a reaction than when Haley and Yang asked.

When Haley mentioned the bath again though, Ada immediately looked at her, clearly happy and eager to go. While Haley mentioned something about a 'towel', Ada was too happy because of the bath to care about what said 'towel' was and what it had to do with her.
As Haley led the way to the guild's large bathroom, Ada followed closely. Once they got there, Ada did stop for a moment, looking around. It was her first time going inside and it was clearly bigger than what she thought it was. Since she was expecting something like a river or a pool of water, the surprise was enough to make her amazed while the others got ready to take a bath. For some reason, they uncovered themselves just to cover themselves again with a strange, fluffy piece of cloth that was funny and good to the touch, as Ada realized after sniffing one of the towels that were still unused and touching it with her nose.

When Ada finally looked again, both Yang and Haley were already inside the water, relaxing. Ozzy and Ditzy were on the other corner of the bathroom though, and Ozzy still seemed to be a bit strange. Approaching the water carefully, Ada did make a surprised expression when touching the water with the tip of her tail, realizing that it had a warm and cozy temperature. Ada was ready to jump in the water when Haley and Yang called her, Haley asking if she was ready and Yang gesturing to a bucket of water, wanting to help clean her body. Getting closer to them, Ada looked at them curiously. She always cleaned herself alone on rivers so being on a bath, with warm water (other than the few rare small pools of bubbling, warm water that Ada sometimes found near mountains) was something new to her and she was curious to see how it would go. She was eager to jump and swim on the pool, but she knew that if she jumped there how she was right now, she would probably make it all dirty, so she went to Yang and Haley first.

Freyr

Freyr followed Talia and the others to the kitchen to help prepare the food. He might not be exactly a chef but he knew his way with a knife, cleaning meat and preparing it well enough for him to be helpful as most times he had to clean and prepare wild animals he hunted by himself. After a while, Bartholomew appeared, greeting the guild members as he entered the kitchen.

"Good evening." Freyr greeted back with a nod as he continued cutting and cleaning a large piece of meat in various sizes and shapes. Since he knew that there were a few members who liked meat more than others... Some even preferring raw meat, Freyr was making sure to prepare some for them.

"Oh, don't look at me. I'm just helping. The real chefs are over there." Freyr replied as Bart asked what they would have for dinner as he pointed towards Talia, the Altissima sisters and Kira.

Surprisingly enough, the moment Bartholomew and Neil met, the atmosphere immediately changed. As it was clear to everyone in the kitchen after their small exchange of words, there was still some... 'animosity' between both of them after the incident that happened on the guild the other day. Unwilling to take part in what was happening, Freyr simply sighed as Neil got out, going back to cutting the meat. Unlike Freyr and even her sister though, Vivian was surprisingly direct as she asked if Bartholomew was planning on keeping Neil in the guild, question which earned her a small punch and a disapproving glance from Sylvia. While Vivian further elaborated on her comment, followed by Kira, who seemed to agree with her, Freyr simply listened as he continued helping with the food.

Unsurprisingly, Bart lashed out at the 'sermons' he was hearing from both of them, storming out of the kitchen soon after they were finished. Talia did apologize for his behavior though, explaining to them why Bartholomew and Neil were like that and what led to them being like that.

"I think that if things continue like this, it will only bring even more conflict to the guild and threaten to hurt how we work as a team." Freyr said, finally saying something about what happened.

"Whatever reasons Neil and Bartholomew have to be at each other's throats though, they really need to clear this misunderstanding and stop with this nonsense..." Freyr finished as he looked at the group.

"The problem is... Bartholomew seems to be a really... stubborn person..." Freyr finished, shrugging. He had absolutely no idea what he or anyone could do to make Bart and Neil on good terms again.
Sorry for the delay!! Promise i'll have my post done tomorrow! :-)

The Stadium

Having arrived on the firing range, Mikhail opened the heavy case after putting it down on a table just like a boy would open a christmas gift as he inspected the weapons that were given to him. With a single glance from his experienced eye, he could already tell, without even touching the guns that his expectations were surpassed by far. Silenced and chambered in powerful, subsonic rounds, a classic weapon, modernized and revived, the ASM Val was truly something wonderful. Being similar to models that he had already used before, it felt familiar on his hands, easy to wield and it's state-of-the-art scope and integrated suppressor made it sure that it was as silent as it was deadly. The Sig Sauer MCX in the other hand, a model that he had taken a liking to after using one in a conjoint operation, was certainly a surprise. Modified to the point it was nearly unrecognizable from the original weapon, it was outfitted to his specific skills and liking. The hybrid sight made it perfect to close and mid distance combat while it's compact and light body gave it an incredible handling. Finally, the sidearm, a Lebedev PL-15 was a personal favorite of his. Simple, but deadly, it had no attachments other than a silencer.

The very moment he finally put his hands on one of the weapons though, ready to test them, the personal device that was given to him buzzed as an alarm went off. The message was short and it's meaning clear, it was time to get ready for action.

"Blyat..." Mikhail cursed with an almost disappointed expression as he closed the case, putting the phone back in his pocket.

Grabbing the large case and putting over his shoulder, Mikhail ran back to the barracks in order to get ready. There was still an hour to the briefing and Mikhail could get ready for action in just a few minutes due to the years of practice, but Mikhail himself never liked to be late, nor he wanted to, seeing where he was at the moment. Being in the position he was meant one thing, he was one of the best among the best and nothing short of excellency was expected of him.

Mikhail raised his eyebrows as he heard Bellinar grumbling as he mentioned that they had to be careful, clearly still thinking that the boy was capable of doing them bad after all they saw and heard. Ironically enough, even though he was the assassin, the others seemed to be more heartless than him. Despite the sour mood that was going on and the relentless questioning that Thom was being subjected to, Dunny appeared to be as happy and cheerful as he ever was, oblivious to what was happening around him as he danced and jumped, smelling the meat that was being prepared.

"Once again, look at them. The sceltie doesn't seem to be the type that would be able to hold in a secret and the boy reacted so badly when we mentioned Fatima was a Queen that it's highly unlikely that he would deal with another queen... And if he did, he would be terrified. In any case, the boy and the dog are easy to read. Too easy to read. If they were something other of... well... A boy and it's dog, we all would have realized."
Mikhail said, sighing almost as if he was tired in having to explain his reasons over and over.

"They might be thieves, but they're honest as far as I can tell." Mikhail said as he looked to the boy with a piercing glare before changing to a discreet but kind smile. Even though Mikhail was never good in dealing with people, he knew how to read the subtle signs that someone gave when they were nervous, alarmed or even lying... Many times, being able how to read those signs meant knowing when to wait, when to strike or when to abort the mission and run away.

Turning towards Dunny, who was firing away tons of questions and words in his usual happy manner, Mikhail chuckled when he started wagging his tail, asking why they were burning the meat. The moment he said that though, Mikhail remembered that the one cooking was Bellinar and looked over, just to feel relieved by seeing that Xandar was the one making the food now.
Before he could reply though, Dunny asked if he should wake the other woman up, going without waiting for an answer. It was then that Mikhail noticed that Dareen was awake, as she asked the sceltie if they should play. Mikhail chuckled, smiling with the corner of his mouth seeing that Dareen also had taken a liking to the hyperactive sceltie.

"Quite the energetic one, isn't he?" Mikhail said, turning to Dareen with a chuckle. The moment he looked at her though, his smile turned into a frown when he finally realized that the 'other woman' that Dunny had mentioned wasn't Dareen... It was Faeril...

"Wait Dunny don't wake Faeril up! Don't you want to play fetch with me and Dareen?" Mikhail asked in an alarmed tone as he watched Dunny bouncing and jumping away to where Faeril was, hoping that he would change his attention to the stick Dareen had thrown.

When Jandar mentioned his name again though, Mikhail looked to him with a cold, piercing stare as he stopped what he was doing. A clear indication that he was getting tired of explaining his reasons for having taken the boy and the dog in over and over.

"I wasn't taunting, Jandar. You were supposed to be smarter than Xandar, so why don't you take a closer look to the boy and the dog? Do you really think that they are capable of doing something like giving information about us away? I'm not betting on their good nature, I am talking of their disability to hide their own intentions and how easily they speak of their true motives." Mikhail said as he approached Jandar in order to not be heard by the boy or the dog, his voice lowering to a dangerous tone as he continued.

"As for they being in danger of being captured and tortured for information for merely coming here and talking to us, the very second that they tried to steal from us, they were already dragged in our problems." he said.

"Besides, you shouldn't be the one talking when you so eagerly taunted that Black Jeweled man, SaDiablo back on the town. Discretion at it's finest, isn't it? Why do you think I was disguising myself as a beggar? Don't you think others heard or saw what was happening? It's just a matter of time until the news get around and finally get to someone that shouldn't hear about it. Not only that, but he lives on the street by himself. Do you know why? He knows the city and the people who live there." Mikhail continued. His mood was wildly different than it was a minute ago, the calmness and the cold tone in his voice, coupled with the cold stare on his eyes were clear indications that he was already getting tired of all that.

"Lastly, I may be an assassin... But I do have standards. I do not kill children... or animals. Would you have preferred for me to simply kill them the moment I realized that they knew of our location? Merely because they were in the wrong place, in the wrong time?" Mikhail asked as he sighed, trying to remain calm despite everything.

"If you still think that someone should deal with them, be my guest. My hands may be stained with blood but I won't be the ones dirtying them this time by killing an innocent child and it's dog." Mikhail said in a low tone after he stood up and walked nearby Jandar to make sure no one else would hear them.

"I lost my appetite." Mikhail declared loudly as he looked to the group before walking away from the camp in the direction of the ruined town

Location: Roshmi City => Roshmi Grand Hall
Time: Late Afternoon
Interactions: Darius @FunnyGuy, Artemis @Potter and O'Ner Faister @Eviledd1984

When Myra, Darius and Artemis left the amora, having finally arrived at Roshmi, it was clear to both of them that Myra was absolutely enchanted by the city. Her eyes were shining with curiosity and darting everywhere as she got out of the amora. Just like Darius though, Myra did notice the shriveled up trees, almost as if they were dead. It was a strange sight but for Myra, who was so amazed by everything else, she quickly forgot about it. Not even the presence of the sinister Umber was enough to distract Myra from all the new things she was seeing.

Arriving on the Grand Hall, Myra couldn't help but stop in front of it for a moment, looking at the huge building and all the lights. Even though both Darius and Artemis probably could guess that she wanted to run around and explore everything, Myra was doing a pretty good job of behaving herself and being close to both of them until now. There were so many people with colorful and different clothes, so many lights, for Myra, the entire scene was something she would never had imagined of before meeting Darius. Other than the smell of all the different people of all species in the air, Myra could also smell the fragrant scent of food and spices that she had never tasted before, remembering her that she had another attraction to see other than the ball itself.

Right in the middle of Myra's small inspection though, Airdan suddenly stood up, speaking something about going elsewhere as he walked away. Almost in the exact moment, a strange man with a funny, long nosed mask sat in their table, in the exact opposite end as Myra was. Even though his presence was a surprise, what did make Myra notice and be interested by the stranger even more was his mask. Without even making a single effort to hide it, she simply stared at it, tilting her head as if interested by the mask, more specifically, the long nose, going as far as leaning forward and lowering her head, trying to see under the nose to confirm if his nose was really that big or it was just the mask.

The moment that Myra leaned forward though, with her attention fully focused on the demi-human, she finally noticed, among all the other smells and scents that he had a faint but unmistakable smell... The smell of an undead. Immediately flinching back as she looked right towards him, she was a bit wary but since he didn't look like an undead, maybe there was another reason why he smelled as one. Sometimes when she killed them, her claws also smelled like that for a while... While it was clear she was a bit wary, it was also clear that it wasn't like the other times with other undead. For one reason or another, she seemed to be just a bit wary, almost as if she was still deciding if she should trust him or not.

Mikhail smiled as he saw Fatima interacting with Dunny and Thom. The small sceltie seemed to be overjoyed in having Fatima nearby and the boy, despite being still confused, was much less wary of them than before. When Fatima stuck out her tongue at him for calling her 'unique', Mikhail couldn't help but to laugh. Despite everything that happened until now, Fatima's presence was indeed refreshing.

The smell of food was starting to get more noticeable as the meal that it was promised to both Dunny and Thom was getting ready. Meanwhile, Jandar mentioned how he apparently had another meeting with Thom in Dhemlan before, making Mikhail a bit curious. When Jandar mentioned that Mikhail had taken a liking to Dunny, Mikhail gave a chuckle, looking at Jandar.

"Believe-me, I know a threat when I see one. And these two are anything but threatening. No offense, of course." he said, before turning to Thom as he said the last part.

"That said, Jandar is right. It's not everyone who will be as understanding and kind as I was today." Mikhail said, further reinforcing the warning Jandar gave to the boy after Jandar explained the consequences of his previous actions when he stole a purse from a noble.

When Xandar came though, the mood almost immediately shifted for the worse. Mikhail already knew how Xandar was and how he acted and it was clear to everyone that they weren't exactly the best of friends. Xandar's tendency to look for problems and conflict was especially irritating for Mikhail.

"I believe I said your presence was unneeded. I always had everything under control. I always have." Mikhail repeated, as he looked at Xandar with a sharp and clearly threatening stare.

"Besides... Aren't you a little bit too scared of a boy and a sceltie? It seems that the rumors about the infamous Reaper might be a bit exaggerated if he judges these two to be a danger to him... Not only that but he also seems incapable of judging how dangerous people can be... Especially those whom he shouldn't provoke." Mikhail finished, clearly indicating that he was finished talking with Xandar with a serious veiled threat.

When Xandar was finally gone, thanks to Fatima, Mikhail's mood slowly returned to how it was before. Just as Fatima crossed her arms, clearly not satisfied with the mood, Mikhail sighed as he looked to the group again.

"Indeed, I think these are enough warnings for now. Come, we should go to the camp now." he finished as he looked to Dunny and Thom, agreeing with Fatima.
