Current Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been absolutely swamped with work these last weeks. I'm getting my replies up slowly.

Keeping track of things makes it easier to avoid bad experiences! And to not make the same mistake like an idiot... :-/

Mikhail didn't moved a muscle while the others continued talking among themselves, instead, he simply listened, keeping a close eye on Faeril's reactions and her expression. Even as Fatima told everyone to shut up, in a surprising outburst, he still didn't move his eyes. Even though he was listening to everything that was being said, while keeping a part of his attention on SaDiablo, it was clear that Faeril was the one who had the other half of his attention.

Fatima's words made the Eyrien calm down a bit. Just like she said, since Faeril herself was fine with SaDiablo looking into her mind, nothing could be done and in case he tried something, even though he was a black, he was severely outnumbered. Still, Mikhail would not move nor say anything unless he had no other choice. After all... SaDiablo wasn't the one who needed answers.

It didn't take long until SaDiablo and Faeril were done. Fortunately, nothing bad happened to the black widow other than being a bit exhausted. Not only that, but after seeing what he wanted, SaDiablo seemed to have found nothing which made him even more suspicious, instead, he chose to agree to go with them to Kaeeler, although the consequences of doing so, just as Saetan himself would say, weren't good ones.

Mikhail heard as Jandar mentioned about how they should probably still go to Kaeeler and that Saetan still held enough influence to be able to gather allies. Nodding to what he said, he gave a few steps forward for the first time since the group began talking.

"At this point, war is almost inevitable..." he said, the tone of his voice making it clear that he was incredibly annoyed by that fact as he took a cold glare towards Faeril. Despite the silence, the message behind that stare would be clear. He blamed her for dragging him into such a mess.

"I don't think there is any possibility of dialogue with Dorothea. Your best bet would to break free from her anyways... And be ready for what will come next." he finished, with an annoyed sigh.

Myra watched from a distance, still using her camouflage as Bella's attacks struck one of the Owlbears straight in the eye, making it call the other Owlbear for support, which immediately came running and grabbed Valok, in a tight hug and pecking his head. Knowing how strong those creatures were, Myra knew that someone needed to do something to help Valok, otherwise he would be as good as dead.
Fortunately, Malachi already had his sword unsheathed, which saved Myra from revealing her position and ruin her ambush. Malachi's attack was incredibly effective, making the owlbear let go of Valok and giving it a big wound in the process. Moving in after Malachi called for his name, Mathis went to cut off the Owlbear's already wounded arm. Unfortunately, he tripped just as he was about to attack, which was a bit strange for Myra, since he tripped so awkwardly. Still, his attack was a success, completely cutting the Owlbear's arm, though the trajectory of his scythe was going straight for Malachi due to him tripping and falling.

Myra watched that with an alarmed expression, she didn't want to reveal herself to the owlbears yet, but the chaos that was currently going on made her fear that the worse might happen. Even though Valok was already free and the first owlbear almost dealt with, especially after Valok recovered himself and somehow used shadows to attack it, there was still the danger Malachi was in, with Mathi's scythe going straight to him. Luckily, Belladonna, who was trying to deal with the other owlbear by herself, used her water in time to push Malachi away from Mathis' scythe, although that would leave her open for another attack from the remaining owlbear, once it recovered himself from Belle's attacks.

Knowing exactly what to do and presented with the perfect target, Myra moved towards the first owlbear. Dashing towards it in a stunningly agile manner, her camouflage made her look like a visual distortion in the light as she moved, almost like a glimmer. Getting fully visible as she pounced the creature's back, she used her tail to try and immobilize it's arms and her claws to keep a firm grasp on the creature, digging into his hide and flesh, leaving big, deep cuts on it's back. Putting her head over his shoulder and around it's neck, Myra bit it's throat with a surprising ferocity, especially coming from such an innocent and 'cute' creature as her. Should the creature's layer of fat prevent her from biting his trachea and other vital points such as the jugular, she would simply rip chunks of meat and fat with her mouth, in order to get deep enough to deal a finishing blow.

The terrifying display of a predator trying to take down it's prey would continue until either the Owlbear stopped moving or if, despite her positioning making it highly unlikely that it would be able to hug her like it did to Valok, it found a way to try and attack her, which she would jump off from it to a safe distance.

The moment Myra saw one of the creatures that were following them, she became even more agitated, hissing at them and trying to back up, while giving glances to the rest of the group. Since she knew that it had a high possibility of her getting hurt if she fought against the owlbears, it would be smarter to simply try to avoid a fight. Sure, they were in bigger numbers, but there was no merit in entering in a conflict against those creatures if they could avoid it. Saving precious energy, not risking getting hurt and knowing how to minimize the risks were incredibly important things if one wanted to survive by themselves in the wilds... Especially in the forest surrounding Daka, where Myra came from.

The first one from the group to act was Belladonna, whom surprisingly, shouted at the huge creature as she controlled water, just like Darius. Myra could see the water droplets she created surrounding and protecting her and the rest of the group. While at first Myra thought that Belladonna would be on the defensive and try to run too, which was a smart move in her opinion, her thoughts were quickly proved wrong as Bella attacked the owlbear that was in the open, going straight for his eyes. Myra didn't take her eyes away from the creature, although her alarmed expression made it clear that she didn't agree with the course of action Bella took.

Hearing Malachi, Myra could easily tell that he also didn't think that was the best choice. Just after he called her name, telling her to keep an eye on the creature, she turned towards him raising two fingers in the air, before pointing towards the owlbear before continuing hissing and trying her best to intimidate it so it wouldn't rush the group. A single owlbear was already a moderately dangerous opponent, but Myra could deal with it, easily if she used her speed to ambush it. That said, fighting against an owlbear head to head was risky and definitely not efficient. Risking getting hurt or wounded was already a problem, and it was easier for something unexpected happen when the opponent wasn't a single owlbear, but a pair. The creatures outmatched her in brute strength and their thick hides coupled with their bodily fat meant that only deep and powerful attacks would work against them.

Seeing that the group now had little choice but to fight the creatures after Valok rushed towards it with his sword, Myra knew she couldn't just stand there and do nothing. Since the other owlbear was still hiding, Myra used the distraction both Belladonna and Valok were making by attacking the owlbear and used her camouflage to disappear. Assuming a low posture, Myra began prowling, moving around the group, just far enough so she would be even more hidden by the trees and the foliage. Since they were already fighting one owlbear, she would do exactly what Malachi told her to do, using her sharp senses to track down the other owlbear that was hiding, ambushing it before it could ambush the rest of the group.

Ayita nodded, silently agreeing with Torvi's words. Just like Ayita herself, she seemed to be... cautious regarding the information given by the caster gave them but also thought it would be foolish to immediately dismiss it as impossible. The bit of information that the spy was likely to be a woman though was something Ayita didn't caught previously and it could come to be useful in the future.

Just after Torvi said that though, a man suddenly appeared from under the blanked Kuroi was next to. Ayita watched with the corner of her eyes as Torvi's hand went for her sword almost in the exact same time hers went for her dagger. The presence of the stranger was unknown to the group and apparently, Koto as well judging by the tone of surprise in his words. The stranger quickly introduced himself as Caelan, before making a strange question about a 'DM'. After noticing that the stranger didn't seem to have any hostile intentions, she let go of the dagger she had stolen from the guard back at the ball, although she still kept a close watch on Caelan as he spoke. Not only he was wearing some really strange clothes, but he didn't seem to know much about what was happening.

Torvi was the first to reply, wary and distrustful of the man as she made him some questions.

"I don't know who or what this DM is and just like she said, it's a bit too early for us to answer these types of question, considering we don't know who you are." Ayita said with a wary tone as she watched every movement Caelan made, her words making clear that she wouldn't answer any other questions until she heard some answers of the stranger who called himself Caelan.
Ada

@PaulHaynek@Restalaan@Stern Algorithm@AzureKnight

Ada was listening with a curious expression as the others talked about the kidnapping that happened. She still didn't understand the reason why Nero and the maid lady couldn't be together if they liked each other but it seemed like there were other complex reasons behind what happened. Still, despite the confusion, the day was still really fun. Ada saw many thing she had never seen before, tasted some really, really good food in the competition and even played around a bit. It was a busy, but undoubtedly fun day. Due to that, when the group started discussing that it was time to go back to the guild, Ada was fine with their choice. Laying down on the sofa to sleep after such a busy day would be fine too.

That said, they still had one thing left to do. As the matter about going back to the guild came, Haley and a few others said that they should go say goodbye to the Dark Priest and thank her for the event. Ada did agree with that, after all, she did have a lot of fun today, in part, thanks to her.

When Ditzy called her, excitedly saying that they would go say thanks to the Dark Priest, Ada nodded with her head, smiling to Ditzy as she raised her hand in a fist, mimicking Ditzy's gesture.

Freyr

Freyr simply nodded as Haley began explaining in more details about what happened regarding the kidnapping. Being undoubtedly more suited to discuss these types of things, Freyr gladly left the explanation to her. Just like Haley said as she ended the explanation though, Freyr did hope that Nero would keep the words he heard from them in mind and think about them.

After Haley finished explaining though, Ditzy resumed her already resumed explanation. Not beating around the bush, Ditzy's explanation was accurate, despite a little bit 'indelicate'. Hearing Vară and Nagare chastising Ditzy for his words couldn't help but make Freyr chuckle.

With the festival already ending and most of the guild members tired due to the busy day, the group decided to start making their way back to the guild, after saying goodbye for the Dark Priest, Riñas.

"We should indeed thank her for the hospitality." Freyr said, nodding as he agreed with Haley.

"I hope the exhaustion will catch up with them once they arrive on the guild." he said to Haley with a chuckle as he watched both Ditzy and Ada excited with the idea of thanking Riñas for the event.

Myra looked at Malachi, tilting her head as she saw him smiling towards Mathis and talking about his life. While at the beginning he was much more serious, it seemed like he was starting to get less wary and suspicious around the others, especially after they talked a bit about themselves.

When she spoke about herself though, she was surprised to see Malachi laughing. She could see that he was slowly warming up to the others but it was the first time she saw him laughing like that. Myra looked at him, tilting her head, a bit confused as she tried to understand why he was laughing. When he called her name though, she straightened her head, paying attention to him as he took a small piece of cloth out of his pocket and dipped it in water before approaching her, bending down in front of her with the wet cloth still on his hand. Myra did flinch a bit at first, surprised and a bit wary. Since he was approaching her slowly and delicately though, she simply stood still, curiously watching as he used the wet piece of cloth to clean a bit of dirt that was in her cheek, which Myra replied with a kind smile while he was still bending down.

Myra was undoubtedly glad that the group was starting to feel more comfortable around each other. After all, the tense atmosphere from a while ago with all the questions, distrust and wary stares was really exhausting. Other than Malachi, Valok too seemed to react to what Myra said about the forests. His reaction though was much more different than Malachi's. Saying that Myra was strong, he closed his fist, smacking it into his chest. A gesture Myra had already seen some green skins doing to each other. Closing her fist, Myra looked at it for a brief moment before imitating Valok, looking at him and tilting her head, almost as if she was asking if she did it correctly.

Still, the only one left that was still very serious was Belladonna. Myra didn't know why she was still so wary about them, especially since they had spent some time together already and no one did anything to each other. That meant thy could all trust each other, right? After all, if anyone was bad, they would have already done something. As Malachi, Mathis and the others said that they should keep moving, Myra gave a few steps towards Belladonna, looking at her curiously. Myra was a bit cautious at first, since she didn't know if the girl trusted her yet. Looking towards her, Myra put her fingers on the corner of her mouth, slightly pulling them and making a smile before pointing towards Belladonna and tilting her head, her question being clear despite her lack of words.

The very second she finished doing that though, Myra suddenly started looking around, sniffing the air and with her tongue darting in and out of her mouth, trying to identify the strange scent she was feeling in the air and the noises that she was hearing every now and then. Judging by her alert posture and how agitated she was, it was clear that something wasn't right. Looking to the rest of the group, Myra turned back at the forest behind them, assuming a threatening posture and showing her teeth and her claws.

Myra heard, looking back and forth between Belladonna and Mathis as the latter answered to the girl's question. Hopefully the girl wouldn't be angry with what Myra or Mathis said when replying to her. Mathis also seemed to have both understood her question and replied to it much better than Myra did, which it was fortunate. Hopefully he would be able to avoid any misunderstanding. Luckily, it seemed Malachi was satisfied with their answers, as he touched Belle's shoulders, saying that they should go.

With all the complicated questions answered and everyone, hopefully, on good terms and the introductions having already been made, with the dark elf introducing himself as Valok, the group continued on their way, following Malachi. After some time walking though, he insisted them to take shelter in a cave they found. While Myra wasn't really tired, she assumed that since Malachi asked, the others were starting to get tired and it would be better to go and wait for a bit, even if she was fine with walking more.

Strangely enough, even though it was Malachi who insisted for them to take shelter and rest, he ended up waking up the rest of the group pretty early and seemed to be in a rush to continue moving. Myra definitely thought that was a bit strange, but she didn't think much of it and simply followed the rest of the group.

After some more walking, Malachi turned to the rest of the group, asking where they were from before answering himself. Even though Myra had no idea where the place he said he came from was, she figured out he probably lived with other pointy ears that she sometimes found in the forest. Mathis was the next to reply, saying strange names of places Myra had never listened before. Still, one thing about Mathis' reply Myra did understand very well: the moment he started talking about food. More specifically the deer meat. Looking to him, she listened carefully, licking her lips as he told them more about the dishes his family made.

Belladonna, unlike Malachi or Mathis though, didn't seem to want to talk that much, simply saying that her reply was the same as Malachi. Myra did stop and looked at her a little bit, tilting her head in confusion. She grew with Malachi, with the pointy ears, even though she wasn't one? Being more like Darius himself? Not only her ears were different but her smell was different too. Myra kept looking at her with innocent confusion before she finally turned away. Belladonna didn't show herself to want to be closer to anyone other than Malachi in the group and for some reason, she seemed to not like them that much so Myra simply left her to her own, as she didn't want the girl to get angry with her.

Valok's answer was much more different from the rest. Even if Myra didn't understand much of what he said, he spoke in a way that reminded her a little bit of Skar. Of someone who was proud to be a 'warrior' as Skar said herself way back then. Other than that, the place he mentioned, the forests of Daka, were a place Myra was also rather familiar with. Not only because it was one of the forests she passed through some times, but because it was there that she found herself when she woke up for the first time.

Finally arriving on her time to reply, Myra tilted her head, thinking for a while before answering with a shrug and shaking her head. No matter how much she tried to think about it, the only thing she could remember was simply waking up one day in the forests surrounding Daka. As such, Myra joined her hands, putting them on her cheek and tilting her head a little bit, almost as if she was laying on them, a hand signal Darius had taught to her, signifying 'sleep'. After that, she suddenly, gave a small jump, like someone would if they woke up suddenly, looking around. After doing that, she pointed at Valok before opening her mouth.

"Forests! Dah-ka!" she said, trying to repeat what Valok had said before with a proud expression, satisfied with the "explanation" she just gave the rest of the group.

After Ayita cleared the mist with her wind, they had a clear sight of the way ahead where they all could see only Risa visible, having no clue of where the strange being that was trapping her went. That was when Torvi used her earth powers. She was probably aiming to trap the strange being but unexpectedly, she ended up trapping Risa instead. At first, Ayita was surprised, thinking Torvi had missed, but then Risa began to fight against the constraints, shouting. As she did so, her voice began to change, becoming much raspier, just like the one they heard before, from the creature that was responsible for all that. Not only her voice, but as 'she' continued to struggle, her appearance changed as well, with a blue mist gradually dissipating and revealing the reptilian visage of the caster, the same one they had seen before when the mist cleared for the first time.

"An illusion...!" Ayita said, cursing under her breath for not having realized that sooner.

Unfortunately, despite hers and Torvi's effort, further interrogating the caster proved to be impossible. Even though it initially seemed it would be easy to take some answers out of him, judging on how he was begging for his life, the moment he began to let out some information that could be of some use to them, such as the dubious but not entirely unlikely fact that there was a spy among the rebels and was about to tell his master's name, he suddenly fell dead, killed by a kunai straight to the neck. Green blood flowed through the wound as the weapon used, strangely enough, vanished, leaving only the caster's reptilian body, now dead and lifeless.

The responsible for the execution was naught but a shadow. Exhausted as they all were, not only identifying the shadowy figure proved to be a challenge but following him and risking another confrontation was simply out of question. They should consider themselves lucky that the figure didn't decide to try and finish the caster's job, ending them where they were. Fortunately, it seemed like Ayita didn't need to remind the rest of the group of that, seeing as they all seemed to think the same thing. Still, as Baraian spoke, approaching Kuroi and picking him up, they should leave as soon as possible. Both to tend to their wounds, disinfect them and have some proper rest.

Despite the overwhelming exhaustion, the clean air as they left the fetid sewers was truly invigorating, enough to give Ayita the little bit of energy she needed to get out of there and continue until they could find a safer place to tend to themselves. Fortunately, that didn't seem to take much time. By sheer luck, they met a man, driving a cart. Even though he seemed to be rather wary of the group, he still showed himself friendly and polite. Thanks to that, Torvi offered him a good sum of Amas, asking for him to drive them to the coast. Thankfully, the man accepted the offer and after discussing with Torvi about taking turns resting, just to be safe they wouldn't be betrayed, Ayita was able to have a good rest for the first time in what seemed to be a long time for her. Even though Ayita usually had quite a light sleep and was used to be alert at all times, she simply wasn't able to due to how exhausted she was and simply slept like a log.

It was the afternoon of the second day when the group finally found themselves fully rested. Ayita mostly kept to her own while they traveled. She did overhear a bit of the conversation Torvi had with the driver, a lion demi-human called Koto. By sheer luck, he seemed to be on the same way they were and had his mind set on joining the rebels, just as them. Even though that wouldn't make Ayita be less wary of the man, it did help her to relax a little bit more. When Torvi asked the group about what the caster had said back in the sewers, Ayita turned towards her, thinking for a bit.

"It was indeed a dubious information... but not entirely unlikely. In one hand, that creature seemed to be quite accustomed at lying, tricking and deceiving others, but on the other hand, people tend to be incredibly honest when their lives are on the line..." Ayita said, reflecting on Torvi's question and the words she heard from the reptile creature.

"It might be just me being overcautious, but I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of having a spy as impossible." she concluded, looking to Torvi. Ayita knew very well that her answer was far from a definitive answer for Torvi's question but it was the best she could give with the little information she had about the situation.

The morning came with a sunny weather and a comfortable temperature for Ylva. The weekend was unexpectedly eventful, with Ylva having met quite a few curious individuals and even exchanging contact information with some of them. Ending up spending the entire night at Alexei's, drinking with Valya and talking with the others. Despite having packed up the things and bought the Akevitt bottle (which was now on her fridge, still unopened), she ended up postponing the small 'celebration' she had planned to a later date. Spending those few days away from the annoying customers and the unending smell of coffee was pretty good, but unfortunately, things were finally calming down after the commotion caused by what happened a few days ago and with that, business opened again as usual.

Wearing a simple, black, Amon Amarth t-shirt, black jeans with a metal studded belt and a pair of simple, black combat books, Ylva left for the Mall after a small breakfast. Luckily for her, the morning shifts weren't as annoying as the evening ones and the customers were generally nice.

"Hey! Good morning everyone." she said, waving towards her co-workers as she arrived on the Starbucks, getting behind the counter.

Luckily the day would pass by pretty quickly, after all, she still had that Akevitt bottle in her fridge and plans to go to the forest hunting tonight.

When Jandar, Fatima, Dareen and the rest of the group finally arrived at the inn, Mikhail wasn't that surprised when he saw that SaDiablo was with them. He suspected he would want to see Faeril himself. That said, he wasn't going to defend Faeril in case SaDiablo tried to get some answers from her, as Mikhail himself wasn't that sure about Faeril either. He would only intervene in case fight somehow started. Not much was needed for Mikhail or the other brothers to realize the mood among the group that had just arrived wasn't one of the best. Other than Dunny himself, each one of them seemed to have their own troubles to think about. That didn't prevent Gennar to hiss at Bellinar when he saw him, asking where did he go though.

As Saetan began speaking with Faeril, Mikhail simply stood in the corner, staring at both of them with cold, analytical and sharp eyes. Saetan's words were sharp but Mikhail would make of his words, his own as he questioned her about the spell she wove. As they continued, Faeril asked if SaDiablo would rather look into her own mind to be sure her words were true. Such proposition made the Eyrien brothers shocked as they all reacted accordingly, especially since Saetan himself agreed with such proposition. Despite how outraged the brothers were, Mikhail simply stood in silence, watching their conversation.
