@Pseudo Stygian@baraquiel I will make a post for Diana with both of your OC's in my next post! I promise! But it's late, i have spring semester starting tomorrow, and i could not resist having Diana go into "serious mode" on Kris in the meantime for some juicy drama! DX

@Spriggs27 Welcome to the RP (since i did not say before)! And, eh, don't mind Diana threatening to "Serious Punch" Kris's face into the back of her skull. She's not like that on an average basis, truly. XD

The brown-haired girl had been a bit distracted from her little snowball of a roommate for a moment, as one of the other students, someone she hadn't recognized seeing before today at all, began to mouth off like some kind of jerk. Whining that Mr. Manilow was a hobo, and getting into an argument by insulting one of the other girl who tried to stand up for the man, even seeming to provoke one of the Air element kids who snap at her for her shoddy behavior. It was disgusting how that girl was acting, and a bit too reminiscent of back home to a certain extent that Leanne kept her trap shut, lest her emotions potentially come barreling out like the other girl's had with the shriek whilst screaming the word "princess" at the visibly pompous and arrogant new person. Many of the students here had been nice, especially among perhaps a few of the other Darkness kids like her who had seen some crap probably worse than hers, but all in all she hadn't been pushed to feel anyone here was like....well, "them", the people who had given her hell back home.

So really, this new girl was already pushing more buttons on more people than perhaps she realized, hmm? Leanne lightly bit her bottom lip a bit to try to control the thoughts that had managed to catch her off-guard in this instance. Had she prepared herself like she had when first coming here, then she could have shrugged it off better. However, the taste of iron in her mouth pulled Leanne back into reality, her bottom lip now bleeding a little bit into her mouth due to where she was biting it. Nothing too serious, but potentially in need of first aid.

Sighing at the matter inwardly as the shock allowed her to reign herself in, Leanne looked back over at her white-haired roommate once more, her bottom lip being held in a little to try to hide the bleeding before reaching over with a hand to ruffle Eir's head in an affectionate manner, though as such to try not to wake the sleeping gamer as well. Not that the messy girl would perhaps mind, perhaps? Eh, with Eir it could vary. If she was perhaps sleeping hard, then perhaps she'd be grumpy if Leanne had to place a guess on the matter. Then again, that shriek could have done the waking already.

She was glad she had found her little friend here, though. She...really was for personal reasons. However, with the escalation of things, she was not going to try to down the gym teacher right now. Not when her gut gave her the feeling she needed to back off a bit at the moment until things were stopped or cooled down.

The redhead had moved to the side as the others had tried to get him down thus far, grinning outwardly at the display. However, her face spoke not of arrogance or a bemused pity for those who had failed thus far, but rather for a bit of joy that they were trying and a growing eagerness for her "turn at bat" as the phrase might go in American baseball. She already had ideas floating around within her mind, ranging from a well-placed fireball to walking over and heating up the bars until he had to get off. It was all in good fun, and yet for her the mood of the jovial attempts by some of the other students, and the hesitating attempts by others perhaps learning to stand on their feet when it came to power usage, came to a screeching halt when a notably new girl to probably the school itself began belting out insults about the teach and other students overall. From the low blow towards Dia, whom she recognized the name of due to her boyfriend, to her pitiful arrogance that seeped into every word that came out of her mouth, to shaking rudely off another girl's attempt to respectfully reprimand her, to her attitude having already set off one student with a shriek of "princess" at the end of that student's words, it had managed to do something she usually held back with for people like this: get on her nerves.

Though her hot temper flared into life, her stubborn self held it back with a dam made of adamantine at the moment, as she knew in her gut that if this prick girl who probably just got here responded it might start some more serious shit. Fast. Very fast indeed. And people did not need to get burned, shocked, stabbed, frostbitten, or otherwise for this crap.

Silently, Diana walked over to where the shouting and shrieking girl and the little prick were standing. Without a word, she put her hands between the two, aiming at shoving the shouting girl back lightly as if to just make her give some distance, but her other arm aiming for shoving the prick girl with a roughness that would perhaps inevitably (at least in Diana's mind) set her off even more.

Regardless of the results of this, she then stepped between the screaming girl and the prick all the same, looking overt at Dia with a sense of compassion, then to Felix, then to ShiZen, then back at the shouting girl over her should, before looking down at Kris herself with an overbearing aura that seemed to be a mix of "i don't gave a shit about your status" and "you aren't worth using my powers on".

"You really shouldn't be worth my time, but seeing as you want to mouth off to everyone and try to make a scene or an excuse to get people riled up, i think i can make an exception," the German girl said, staring dead into Kris' eyes with no ounce of backing down, grabbing the girl by her collar with her left hand and hefting her up off of the ground without breaking a single sweat so she could look up at her, "Your little attitude can stop right now, and you can sit and sulk over this while everyone else tries to enjoy things before someone else fires off like the person standing behind me. You don't have to like it, you don't have to respect anyone. But you can shut up. Or if that does not work, there is what i like to call 'Option Two'. I can take my fist and plant it so far up your worthless-ass, spoiled-rotten-sounding face a good few times over. Then it might jolt your pewee brain under that thick skull of yours into some common sense of decency."

"It's your choice, really, but i think the former is going to be a hell of a lot better than the latter. Besides, my fists are all you are worth right now, not even worth an atom of my powers being used in even your general direction. But if you want to use them i'll just say you chose option 2 and let the fun begin! So what will the choice be today for ya, sweetheart?"

These type of people, she could not stand these types of people. On their high horse, mouthing off to everyone without thinking of the consequences, probably living off of daddy's money like it was going out of style, potentially sent here to get her ass in gear before she used her element without thinking or training to do something even dumber that no one would be able to bail her out of. Did she know this girl? Heck no. Had she gotten to know her? No. Did she give every warning flag and stereotypical sign of an asshole spoiled kid who felt themselves higher than the "commoners" below them? Indeed, she did to a "T" for the German girl.

So she was going to give this girl a chance, one chance to shut her trap, avoid the other students flaring up their powers at her since they were all damned first years, and sit in her sulking corner and keep her trap shut. Of course, letting icy girl's boyfriend or others step in was all-too tempting as well, since that might have the same effect. But why have another peer get tied up in needless violence, when she could just level a dead-serious threat to try to get her to shut up right now before anyone else did something drastic, emotional, and utterly stupid. At least with 'Option Two' she might reduce the amount of people in trouble as well.

Or, if that failed, the teacher would have to stop her if this girl was going to avoid a black eye on her first day. Still, it could be a good first lesson in manners for her around people in general, as it were, with how she sounded right now. Haha!
Mina Miyamoto

Of course the kenjutsu club leader had told her this morning that practice was canceled, which....really was a shame. She had been working more on her swings and everything. Though she guessed the upcoming kendo club leader elections were already getting stressful for the Prez herself, who was seeking for re-election to the position. The purple-haired girl guessed it just left her with the delicious prospect of heading out to get some snacks from a few of the machines full of tasty treats that lied just beyond the Academy's borders. Ah, there was that one machine a farmer came to load up with homemade curry, or that one machine that was stocked with tasty fruit smoothies in a plastic bottle...hmmm....

As she thought to herself about the matter, most of the class ended up leaving around her, and when Mina noticed this she slightly panicked outside of her usual demeanor, throwing things into her shoulder-slung bag for supplies, and then tidying herself up and trying to calm down before getting out of her seat and starting to make her way towards the exit. Though, as it were, a familiar sight stood there. Hotaru, the one-armed wondergirl of the school....if crappy grades were to be considered "super" anyways. Then there was the one-armed girl's friend, the somewhat mysterious Nana, whom she'd always felt an odd vibe from since she first saw her in their shared class. The two friends together were a common sight, though the lack of an arm for Hotaru was a reminder to Mina herself of just what "The Phase" could do to people. It was like a constant reminder of the alien-like beings that had invaded their world more often now than ever.

"Heh. You two really are the cutest pair of friends i've seen here so far," Mina said as she approached the other two girls whilst on her way out of the classroom, giving a light giggle at the end out of amusement, "You're like a two-pack of those cupcakes, sweet and making me want to gobble you up! haha!"

Not that she would actually eat them, but it was simply a manner of speaking in saying the two seemed cute together as friends.

@PKMNB0Y Ok! Here is my steaming pile of an idea! I hope it works! XD

Name: Oboro, aka formerly “Momohime, the Princess of Narukami”

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Personality: Momohime, or “Oboro” as she is in this form, is firstly a kind sort of person who can be gentle as well and is not usually seen as a threat of sorts as such. Something about her person seems to be able to be able to soften and even touch the hearts of others, which combined with her cleverness can be things that could diplomatically work well for her at times. Sincere in her want for the best of those she is friends with and loves, she does not hesitate in her actions when it comes to these matters as well.

However, having journeyed and fought many people in her quest to find out who she is that fear she once had of monsters as “Momohime” is fully gone despite their similarities, replaced with a seasoned experience gained from her great amount of combat experience. Indeed, much like the Oboro Style of sword combat she was gifted by Jinkuro’s soul when their souls fused, the battle instincts and honed sense of combat the former ronin had in life are a part of her and have been built upon. Though gentle and kind still, she has learned to not hesitate when she needs to engage in battle, and has gained some enjoyment of swordplay in time since becoming “Oboro”.

Brief History:

Oboro was originally the “Princess of Narukami”, Momohime, and was a member of the Narukami Clan in her mystical and monster-filled variant of an older Japan. Momohime was getting engaged to the swordsmaster who taught the Shogunate, and who was in charge of espionage for the Shogun himself, Yagyuu Yukinojo. However, this marriage, unknown to her, was just a farce by the Shogun to allow Yukinojo's forces to get in and slaughter the Narukami Clan on the Shogun’s orders whilst Momohime remained non the wiser. But even this plan had a wrench thrown into the works when the criminal and ronin, Jinkuro, attempted to transfer his soul into Yukinojo’s body one night with a “Soul Transfer” technique as the currently-engaged couple was taking a walk. The end result was Momohime throwing herself in front of Yukinojo, a kind and selfless act that got her body possessed by Jinkuro’s soul instead.

So with her body possessed by the foul Jinkuro, and help from a kitsune named Kongiku who was loyal to Jinkuro and stole a mask with Muramasa Sengo's soul in it that could forge Muramasa Blades, the two set out to get Jinkuro a better body and as a side effect free Momohime to have her body back. The two became romantically close during the game despite their situation, with the softened Jinkuro eventually worrying about Momohime's body as it began to break down due to the constant soul-swapping between them in Momohime’s body. Though after running into a kitsune and another Oboro Style and Muramasa blade user who wanted the mask they had back, the pair won against the latter in battle but received a fatal wound on Momohime's body as a result.

Giving up on his ideas of getting to a new body now, and noting that his former master had fused his soul with another, Jinkuro decided to do the same to Momohime to save her life through a "soul fusion" of their two souls to heal Momohime's body ad keep her alive. The resulting "new Momohime" was found by an elderly couple in the countryside, who had no memories left at all but only remembered the words “Oboro” and “Jinkuro” that she would say in her sleep. The couple kept the now-named Oboro with them for nearly a year, until a great oni and his band of demons attacked the trio to try to kill and eat them. Oboro then used a simple basic sword to kill the oni and his entire band of demons in one swing of the sword using the Oboro Style Jinkuro had left her during the soul fusion. Noting that she was a danger, Oboro left out into the world to try to find out about her past. In the process she defeated renowned swordsmen, vicious criminals, and evil spirits/demons along the way. During this journey to find out about herself, however, she would inevitably reacquire three of the Muramasa blades forged by Momohime and Jinkuro before she had been "created" by their souls being fused.

Universe of Origin: “Muramasa: The Demon Blade”

Equipment:

Muramasa Blades- Oboro has sought to reclaim or generally take back Muramasa Blades in her journey, having acquired in the process three of the strongest Muramasa blades that had been created by Sengo Muramasa's spirit via the mask Jinkuro and Momohime were given by Kongiku. These supernatural blades are said to “be able to cut through anything”, and those who do not know their sword style are inflicted with a violent madness and compulsion to kill.

However, in this case “being able to cut through anything” simply means for this that the blades have the ability to cut into and through even the likes of advanced tech from other universes and modern cars and such things to generally be able to fight and keep up with enemies from other universes.

The blades also, if broken, repair themselves automatically if put back in any sheath in general, so long as the hilt is intact. As long as the hilt is intact, it will attach itself to a sheath and regenerate the sword in there. Each blade also has a power, a "secret art" they can use along with a passive ability the user benefits from. However, Oboro's swords don't have to consume souls to recharge their power in this case, but will still have to recharge via the Narukami Bracelet for balancing purposes.

Further, each sword has 2 uses of its "secret art" before it has to recharge again, and has to recharge fully at that before she can use a given sword's "secret art" again at all. This recharge timer is a 3-5 minute-long timer always as a rule of thumb.

Oboro herself carries these three blades, which are:

-Oboro Muramasa: The most legendary of Muramasa blades and his pinnacle of craftsmanship it is "able to cut through fate itself". It's passive ability grants a major boost to Oboro's strength and vitality when it is being wielded. Its secret art is called "Distortion" or "Pandemonium", and causes the user prepare to make a single extremely powerful slash.

Whilst charging the attack, the sword over time creates 12 brief, semi-solid "clones" of the user that fire off persisting magical disk attacks with their swords at enemies before disappearing again. These magical disk attacks are occasionally homing as well. This bit lasts is done until the attack is finished charging, which takes about 10 seconds, before the powerful slash itself is unleashed. The slash is strong enough that it sends a giant blade of wind out forward from the sword at that deals major damage to anything it hits. Usually the user jumps high up when launching the attack in order to create a larger blade of wind as a result, though this extra height is not a necessary thing to use it.

This sword is carried by her in one of two sheaths on her right side/hip.

-Dojigiri Yasutsuna: A Muramasa blade known in Oboro's world as the "Sword of Corruption", it is a blade that passively absorbs a small part of the target's life force on contact and uses that to heal its wielder. Though as an alteration for this RP, this "life force" is just absorbs some of the targets' "life energy" that will regenerate back with sleep and rest and such. The sword's secret art is known as "Thunderclap", a technique by which the user moves temporarily so fast they seem to disappear, only to appear above the enemy and stabbing strike downwards with a lightning-charged attack to deal damage and attempt to electrocute their foes. This move, unlike the Oboro Muramasa's can be used on the ground or even in the air by Oboro herself.

This sword is carried by her in one of two sheaths on her right side/hip.

-Suisei Muramasa: A Muramasa sword known by the name of the "Fading Comet", its blade is longer than that of the Oboro Muramasa and Dojigiri Yasutsuna blades she carries by a notable bit. The blade's ability enhances the wielder's ability to quick draw swords, including itself, allowing them to perform it even faster than before. The secret art of this sword is called "Comet III", or "Comet Three", in which she holds the sword up towards the sky, silently calling down a rainstorm of strong supernaturally-generated sword slashes incredibly quickly from an altitude of 500 meters down upon the area in front of her for 4 or 5 seconds continuously. Like the secret art of the Oboro Muramasa, this sword's secret art can only be used when on the ground or standing on something else.

This sword is carried in a sheath on her back, from which she at least can still draw it out for combat well.

Accessories- These items are equip-able items in the game, gained from during the game, post-game, and shopkeepers, that grant bonuses to the wielder in the process. Though a few Abilities like XP Bonus would not be able to apply in our world. Death Blade and Death Blade 2 abilities only apply to things on the level of normal and utterly mundane humans, or so to say the common people on “our world”.

List of Accessories she has on her person right now are:

-Demon God Gauntlet: A pair of demonic-like armored gauntlets she wears over her hands that go up her forearms a bit that are of supernatural make, they grant her an extreme boost to her strength that, like with any other items she has, stacks with enhancements of the same kind for her.

-Demon God Belt: A belt of the same armored and supernatural demonic-like appearance as the gauntlets above, which grants her an extreme boost to her vitality in the process.

-Dragon Necklace: A dragon-style gold necklace she wears around her neck, which grants her its supernatural power to block the user from being poisoned, retaining a burn (heals away the burn damage), or similar issues like disease and corruption and such ailments that could affect her.

-Narukami Bracelet: A jeweled bracelet originating from Momohime's home province of Narukami, it has the supernatural effect of preventing her from consuming power when using her swords' secret arts, which is good considering that if she had to go about harvesting human souls and other souls in "our" world to fuel her weapons' abilities it would be a not very good situation.

Abilities:

Oboro Style- A powerful and dark form of sword combat feared by many of the people who know of it, this sword style from Oboro’s version of Japan allows the user to wield Muramasa Blades with deadly efficiency beyond any other sword style in Oboro's version of Japan. It also is unique in that it allows users to not suffer from the maddening effects of wielding or holding Muramasa blades, as well as be able to unleash the “secret arts” of the Muramasa blades as well.

It is a style that allows a user to fight even even great supernatural threats in Oboro’s universe of origin, above the level of any normal human. For this RP, that just simply means that Oboro can fight on par against the other above-human or far-above-human beings who found their way into "our" world competently, and without being utterly inferior due to a lack of technology or due to her being human physically.

This style also includes the usage of Iaijutsu, or Battojutsu/Iaido, depending on which name you use, though it is with such inhuman skill that everything in a certain limited range can be attacked with a single “quick draw” attack by a user of the Oboro Style. Considering that Oboro can do this "quick draw" so fast that mortal eyes or those of the "demons" of her world cannot follow the blade's movement in this feat.

Cooking- She can cook feudal Japanese sorts of things, due to having lived with and helped an old couple for most of a year after becoming “Oboro”. She can cook them rather well, actually.

Double Jump: Oboro can, by some supernatural power, jump in thin air once without having to have something to stand on. She can use this to get to greater heights in the air for combat, or for getting up to places and however being able to double jump might help her.

Air Dash Oboro can move through the air in a movement known as an "air dash", propelling herself forwards a bit. She can use this to climb up in the air and gain height if she is already in the air. However, this skill extend to allowing her to defy gravity for a few seconds at a time to attack targets in mid-air with her swords just as well as if she was on the ground.

Other: -
Name: Mina Miyamoto

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Personality: Mina is the type who tends to seem relaxed on average, the sort of person who gets things done and does not try to “sweat it out” more than she feels necessary, and who tends to behave themselves as they see fit without an ounce of regret. She even has a friendly side that is not afraid to approach others new to her, and give her opinions out without hesitation when she feels it is needed. As a student Mina allows her grades to be rather average, but not bad, though in reality she knows if she put in just a little more effort that she would be “one of those A-grade students going into the best college one day without any major effort”.

However, she also possesses a great fondness of snacks, from small chocolates to chips to the things one can generally find out of vending machines. She was called in the past the “vending machine master” of her middle school, know just where the best machines were for the best food and snacks from them. This being noted, she does tend to watch her weight and do some personal exercise routines at home to stay in that skinny, curvy shape that she has maintained even through her life even until this time, not wanting to let her habit of snacks and vending machines go too far.

Skills:

Snack Food/Vending Machine Food Finding Extraordinaire- She has what seems like a “sixth sense” for finding quality local vending machines and quality snack foods in stores and supermarkets. Though not actually a form of precognition, she just has a natural penchant for this honed by years of experience back home with her father.

General Fitness- She is a generally fit teenager, actually, through her home exercising, not the most in the world but enough to be rather capable in general athletic matters and feats.

Kenjutsu- From her many years spent in learning kendo, as well as the fact she is joining the Kendo club at the Kondo Academy for Girls when she starts going there, she has some experience with a sword that the average person would not have.

Brief Backstory: Mina Miyamoto is the daughter of her father Hideki Miyamoto and her mother Yuki Miyamoto. Both of her parents and her originally lived in the Aichi Prefecture whilst Mina’s father worked as a monk at the Atsuta Shrine, a Shinto shrine that contains many treasures from Japan’s past and is one of the most important religious places in Japan on top of that. For years Mina grew up with the expectation from her father that she would one day become a priestess, a “miko”, as her mother had been in the past before stopping to become a homemaker after marrying her father. Though this matter generated some arguments, her father did still go out with her at times to get snacks from vending machines in the city, a habit he had formed himself after high school many years ago before seeking to become a priest. In this the two bonded, with her mother sometimes coming out with them on rare occasion, though eventually her general performance in school, and signing up into her school's kendo club to try to appease her father, left her father eventually giving in to not push her to enter becoming a miko.

However, as she was going to choose a high school to go to, the Atsuta Shrine was approached by top government officials that were part of the RELIC program, with a request of them for relics or at least parts of them for their project. This shocked the priests when their most famous relic was requested for as well as part of the project, though after some negotiation and governmental muscle flexing, the shrine revealed that a broken fragment of said “famous relic” existed that had been recovered along with the sword the last time it went missing. This part of this holy relic was placed within a sealed western-style reliquary necklace, and was to be kept watch over by one of the priests of the shrine to ascertain its integrity through the course of the project. Said priests would, as part of the shrine’s deal, have their home host the wielder of this fragment of a relic when its wielder was discovered as a sort of formality.

So with her father chosen, unbeknownst to her, to be that special priest to stay with the relic and keep tabs on it during the RELIC program’s course, as well as potentially keep tabs on the other things RELIC had taken for its use. Mina and her family were moved to a certain city to a large apartment provided by the leaders of the RELIC program as such, with Mina herself being enrolled in the Kondo Academy for Girls as a result as well without knowing the true nature of the place or her father’s new “job” he was doing in this area for the Atsuta Shrine. Even so, Mina determined to continue on with life as was the normal, at least for an area of the world becoming more troubled by Phase attacks. Little did she know that this would come to change her life in more ways than one.....

@baraquiel@Pseudo Stygian We could always go for something like cheap street food vendors?

By the way, baraquiel, as i come back out of the holiday stupor that left me almost forgetting here: Should you or i post next? XD

@Kalleth I shall have Diana try her hand, once Kanako has had her try of airbending Manilow off of the stands.

Safe to say, though, i wonder if "scorched earth" tatics are acceptable for this gauntlet, hmm? ;)
Cymbeline Lockhart

"What the hell?" the half-Nem said under her breath, left in shock for a brief moment as her eyes took in the sight, even amidst her having been occupied prior with sending a hail of arrows into the fray upon the orcs and trolls remaining in the field of battle.

The bright purple beam was reflected back, leaving a dent in a magically-generated shield and a scar of molten rock and flames in its wake as it had rebounded back towards the treeline proper, and in no small amount she could tell right away that this was no small-scale magic. This was a large spell, something that required a lot of mana to use....and had been directly aimed at the captain, a direct attempt to assassinate the knights' leader on the spot with overwhelming and absurd force for a single attack. But if she could get to where the attack had originated...hmmm....perhaps she would be able to be of some use if the enemy was still nearby, being a magic user herself of course. Not that she doubted the capabilities of the far older and more experienced Sir Indaru and his runes, of course, but even so it could be a risk.

Biting her lip, Cymbeline noted that even with Sir Tiral's support, the captain might potentially be targeted again. Potentially of course, even though they were currently winning.

Breaking into a run, the half-Nem mage-archer of the Iron Rose Knights moved over to some of the dead bodies of orcs that now lie on the ground, grabbing up a few of her arrows and putting them back in her quiver before looking over at the blind and lumbering troll head towards them. Dropping to one knee and into a solid firing position, Cymbeline wheeled her bow around towards the blinded, raging troll, before pulling out one of her sigil-marked arrows still covered in good part with orc blood. She carefully knocked and aimed the arrow at the blinded troll's throat, her breaths slowing for a moment to ensure careful aim, her arms taking account of the wind, before....

Mana ran from her into the sigil on the arrow, flaring up its power as the arrow was released. Moving through the air at great speeds, the arrow flew towards the troll's head with a sort of bloody grace, the sigil seeming to glow even more as it neared its target, the tiniest of cracks only beginning to form on the arrowhead.

Were the arrow to hit its mark, or anything for that matter, the arrowhead would explode on impact, shattering in a burst of magical energy that would usually take a chunk out of flesh from a target and send small fragments of arrowhead out as well like shrapnel. Albeit, a very limited amount of it that would likely be lodged in the troll's body.

From here Cymbeline would fire two more recovered arrows of the normal sorts both in succession at the blinded troll's left knee, seeking to incapacitate its movement somewhat if the initial arrow did not kill.

From here she would turn her attention to the one of the other four trolls still advancing towards their ridge, loosing two more arrows aimed at that troll's throat in succession as well. Were that magic user to reappear or attack again, she wanted to maintain this position to try to assist in protecting the captain...or any other nearby targets for that matter. To that end she wanted to conserve more of her mana, that one sigil arrow fired at the blinded troll being an attempt to end it fast and allow herself to focus on other targets and keep an eye on that treeline.

Elissa Lockhart

Parrying, deflecting the blows of, and cutting into orcs was a labor, albeit a necessary one in the group's current situation, Elissa felt that with many of them being mopped up the trolls were the next most important matter at hand. Beyond the one that seemed blinded, and one still advancing on the ridge, the remaining three were not seeming to make much progress. At least, at the moment. As her blade stabbed through into an orc's armpit under its raised arm, and into his chest and straight into its sinewy heart, the orc collapsed to Elissa's side in a dead, bloody heap as its blood fell off in drops from her sword once the blade was withdrawn from its corpse. Looking over after this as her eyes moved to the rest of the battlefield, she cooly took in what her plan of action would be, before blitzing off on her feet towards her next target.

Seeing her sister had moved a bit more forwards than normal, probably to pick up some of her arrows, Elissa turned her attention to where her sister was aiming at right now. As it were, this was at the lumbering troll still coming for the ridge. Internally rolling her eyes at her sister for not having sought to take aim at the thing, she adjusted her shield in her right hand and sword in her left as she moved to get behind the still-moving troll.

'Take this, you hadrid!' she shouted within her mind, not actually aloud of course, as she swung her sword at the troll's tendons on the back of its right leg whilst moving, aiming to essentially hamstring or partly-hamstring its leg to hinder movement or perhaps cause it to fall over in a hit-and-run attack.

She'd already had to replace a few swords this battle, but not enough to be in danger if she had to replace them a few more times. However, the shield she held was in at least "working" condition for deflecting blows, albeit this was a troll and not an orc.

Personally speaking, she had not blinked too much beyond a moment at the captain nearly being disintegrated by that magical purple beam, knowing that the "captain" had an actually experienced knight at her side for that. Sir Tiral, if she recalled correctly, was a well enough mage and knight to handle things there, she assumed. And indeed, he had managed to reflect the beam with seemingly some effort. But of all things, aiming for this little girl of a captain was a sad move on the enemy's part in her mind. Such desperate measures at a time like this, trying to kill a girl in the middle of battle with an overwhelming attack. Albeit, tactically it was sounder than some things.

It was not that Elissa didn't care for her comrades, as she had already been trying to take the front from the more injured knights among the group so they might be able to pull back and rest in this current battle alone, but to her personally Fanilly was not the linchpin of this operation and their forces despite being the highest ranked member here. It would not be good, nor did she wish death upon the girl-captain who was younger than her, though whilst her death would have been...well, shocking and terrible, it would not have as much of a loss for combat prowess to her as one of the major fighters like Sir Indrau or Sir Radistirin or even Sir Tiral himself would be if they died here. Without those needed people of great experience and age holding the line with the others and keeping the pressure on, the knights' forces in her mind might cave to just enough troll then even if Fanilly herself was still among them in such a situation.

But perhaps she was being cynical about things, as it were, but it was not like she hadn't thought of what potential losses of certain members would do in this battle. It sounded rather cold even by her standards, but that also was why she didn't really talk about that to anyone. Sure she'd once or twice drunkenly rambled on the matter among the members dissenting knights in the order in regards to their dislike of Fanilly being the head of the Order itself, but as it were she'd listen to the girl's orders out of respect for her rank. However, to her that was it. A rank, much like how a countess could command her servants. And until this blond girl eventually led them into a situation that her age would foul up, she would obey her superior's orders and follow her into battle.

Sure, Elissa herself was only eighteen years old, but she had worked for this spot, earned it, gained it from practice and proving her worth. Her sister had gotten to this point as well in that manner. Fanilly, on the other hand, had been handed this on a silver platter. Sure there could be the work to earn respect in such a title, and to prove she was worth the effort and value of some old tradition, but with there being enough of a dissenting party among the knight in regards to her....well, had Fanilly earned this yet? Elissa personally was not sure, but she felt this leader of the knights, in her own humble opinion, would make or potentially break their tradition for choosing a leader.
