Griffin growled as the human struggled in his group. He glared at those around him. He didn't care what they thought. The higher ups might think working with these people would help him but he wasn't as sure. They hadn't prove themselves in any way. Still he had promised that he would give them a chance. He put the human down as hard as he could. He kicked the man's wallet as hard as he could. "Stay out of my personal space." He growled.

"I don't eat breakfast." Griffin told the other man. He sighed at the girl who happily greeted them. A fragile girl was the last thing that he needed. What were the higher ups thinking? They couldn't be serious about her being part of the group. She was looked too fragile to survive their world. "What the he'll are you doing here little one? You don't belong here."

Roxy stayed in her room. She couldn't tell with Jess right now. She was going to have to hide ally of things. She had no idea how to do that. It was hard to do with someone so close. But she had no choice. She couldn't allow the other woman to get hurt because of her. She had sworn that she would never allow her past to hurt another person. While she couldn't stop her father she could make her she was never be the reason that someone was hurt.

Her father was careful. He had been hiding his darkness a long time and few suspected that he was capable of the things he did. She curled up on her bed resigned to the fate she now faced because she had been paired with a fragile empath. Jess couldn't handle her world. She wasn't even sure if the other woman could handle the regular world. She would protect the empath as much as possible.

Roxy tossed and turned all night. She tired to sleep but couldn't. She gave up about five am. She got up and took a shower. She got dressed and headed into the other room. They had work to do today.

Roxy wanted the others to ask her for help. But she knew they wouldn't. Since Vlad declared her to be his 'pet' no one was going to trust her. It didn't matter that she would never give Vlad the information he wanted. She would take whatever punishment he dished out. But she doubted anyone would believe that. She knew in their place she would be wary of someone like her.

The maze had changed since last time. Which she had expected. The first test looked like a physical test. Jakobe was likely to have little trouble with it. He had already agreed to help the mouse. Whatever her name had been. Roxy hadn't learned their names yet. The girl wasn't likely to last long. She simply didn't have the strength to survive Vlad's ganes. She didn't know if she could pass the rest or not. Vlad tended to find a way to make sure that she didn't succeed.

Roxy knew she looked young and nonthreatening. She had done that on purpose. She had learned young how to make people underestimate her. The fact that she didn't look like a threat caused people to let their guard down around her. Which she had learned how to use to her advantage. She gave the older man a charming grin knowing that he was discounting her was a threat of any kind. She wanted him to think that as long possible. At least until she decided if he was a threat to her.

"No easy shit huh?" Roxy asked in a smoky tone. She had no idea what else gym could involve besides running. Of course she had been mostly homeschool until she had been sent to the academy so her definition of gym was probably way different from everyone else's. Still she was curious what exactly he did in his class. She tucked her hair behind her ear as she gave him a flirtatious smile. "What exactly does putting them through their paces involve?" she asked wondering just how much he would reveal to her.
