Yuna & Erika

"Do you feel that too, Haku? Something is very out of the normal. I just don't know what." Yuna said to Haku as they arrived on the Bridge a few moments after Akame. "Even then, I feel like something bad is going to happen soon." The Icy Magical Girl said as she used her spear to assist in a jump, vaulting over Akame's head and hitting the collarbone of Primordial threatening the Heroes' Brigade's leader. Even though the monster didn't had any bones to break, Yuna's kick made it buckle under the force, falling to its knees. As Yuna finished her jump, she back flipped and gave locked gazes with Haku before landing behind the Primordial's back, already trusting her spear at the monster's heart.

Meanwhile, the other girls that where headed to the Bridge, after Yuna and Haku, as well as Mitsuki would be the first ones to notice something really wrong, a sensation very much like the one Yuna had just a moment ago. Actually, for Mitsuki who was close enough, it was the same as feeling a cold steel blade being jammed into her stomach. Something bad was about to happen, but what and when? As if to testify it, a flood of negative energy coming from the people stuck on traffic, under the snow, when all they wanted is go back home or drink their woes out during the ensuing happy hour, acted as a magnet, attracting a huge mass of Primordials to the downtown.

Would this ever have an end?

Back at the bridge, a voice echoing from the top of the steel arcs said, "That's not wrong, Akame. But exposing yourself because of a disappointment is." Erika said, a second before the road behind Akame exploded as if being carpet bombed by Erika, obliterating a Primordial that tried to creep on Akame from behind.

"Either way, what's happening here, Akame? I feel a terrible foreboding through the whole city." Erika asked, adding more evidence to whatever thing Yuna have been feeling for the last few minutes.

At the train station, the efforts of Ryuko and Angel helped ease the things, but with four other Primordials to cause mayhem, the outcome was only lessened to a minor tragedy. Right before their eyes, one person was overran by the train, after being pushed by a commotion born of Ryuko's hammer strikes startling the people who couldn't see the origin of the explosions and a couple of Primordials pushing them.

Somehow the woman's bag, along with her severed arm, landed right by Angel's feet. Among the pool of blood stained papers one could easily the names of many students, including Angela herself. Apparently, the only person she couldn't save was exactly the teacher she had trash talked an hour or so ago. Fate could certainly be cruel sometimes, the poor teacher died a bitter dead and was even now becoming food to the primordial which fed on the remains crushed by the train. Twenty six years, unmarried, virgin and unloved even by the students she dedicated herself to, well... such is life.

But there was no time for mourning, or shock. A Primordial holding a wicked looking axe had just moved behind Angel and was ready to decapitate her if the magical girl didn't reacted fast. What would they do now?

Gonna be dropping out of this, sorry.

Fine then. See ya around.
Sorry for the delay. Took my dad fishing for Father's day lol.

No problem, being hooked with your family is more important than RPing.

Iona

BGM

Omega and the others who followed him would learn that Iona used to be found in a very particular location on Celestia, while not engaged on any of her duties. The sanctum inhabited by the archangel was one of the oldest parts of the Realm of Heavens, one that few actually gave any importance to as the War had most looking forever before them, not to the the past.

"It's about time you arrived, envoys of the Heavens. If it's help to rescue those who have been captured that you seek, I can provide both my knowledge and an extra hand to fight beside you." Iona said as she felt the presence of other beings even though she was knelt in meditation, with her back turned to the gates that led into this sanctum, while contemplating the golden rays of the perpetual dawn that permeated the old ruins. Iona had been expecting the ones tasked by Deva to the rescue mission to come see her sooner or later, after all there were few beings on the Heavens with so much knowledge of the Nexus as she.

An orb of golden light, containing a map of Henry's castle appeared before them just as Iona said, "That is the map to the location you seek, take it but, don't go on your mission without first enlisting the help of Flos, the fallen angel. Even though his light doesn't shine as bright as it once did, his righteous fury shall be invaluable on your quest and future battles. He should be returning from an expedition to the aftermath of the Battle of Ruthria, right now. Tell him your mission involves breaching the gates of the castle of a Demon Lord and he shall come to your aid."

"Now then, if there's anything else you would like of me, please name it. Otherwise, I must tell you to hurry, the sake of this realm rests on your hands." Iona said. In fact, what kind of hideous atrocities could the Demons be doing to the captured Angels at this moment? Certain things were best if left unspoken, this was certainly one of them.

@OldManWong@Lucius Cypher

You two may say that, but the fact that it's hard, to engage in organized PVP and grinding Dissolutions is a steep slope to climb, makes being an Outlaw a decent tactic, you just have to be savvy to use it well. More often than not, forming Outlaw bands is the best strategy as far as I could see.

That at least should be the design reasoning behind the creation of the Outlaw status, people forgetting about it doesn't make it less true. You can't simply create a feature to appease the wannabe psychos of the game. If Deep Ground is all about risk, than taking the riskiest approach should earn more results, if you have the luck/skill to back it up.

Ultimately, I think that being an Outlaw is comparable to trading high risk stocks, or beginning a startup on a barely explored field. You can get stupidly rich, stupidly fast, but more often than not, you'll end up bankrupt. In other words, being an Outlaw is for those who have guts.

@KoL I've got a girl with dry driftwood for bones ready to go at a nod, you can't get much more ill than that. And if push comes to shove, magical crowbar appearance because Aaron played too much Half-Life in his childhood.

Actually, I may pass on the ill girl act, I don't want this to become the crappy Arc 02 of SAO II, after all. Aaron incarnating Gordon Freeman might actually be interesting.
PS:

@Mega Birb

Hey, it's not because Emma is Irish that it means that a fistfight must ensue wherever she goes, you know it, don't? That said, it doesn't means that one couldn't happen in the foreseeable future as well.

I expect Aaron to play the knight, if that's the case. After all, Emma is just a normal girl outside of Deep Ground. I wonder if I should make her actually more ill than she looks? You know, the drama must roll on.

Nothing like dirty jokes to lift the mood of the OOC, not?
Yuriya Yozora
百合夜 夜空

"Oh? So, when is a good time for it, Rokudo-kun? After we have met our gruesome fates are the mercy of a twisted monster, maybe?" Yuriya said in a teasing tone, perhaps a bit more maliciously than was needed but, worrying about the dead (or potentially dead) would do them no good, though, goofing around forever was equally bad. "Now that we have that lighter, we may as well be able to overcome that Friagne monster, even if for some time. But-" Yuriya's thoughts were abruptly halted by Katashi baring his chest and shredding his shirt to help build a torch.

After being handed the first two components of it, Yuriya looked at Katashi with a raised eyebrow, her eyes scanning his bare torso with a cunning look, no wonder why some people called Yuriya a vixen, the smile on her lips as she said "Say it, Todo, have you ever been part of any of the sports' clubs? Soeone with your physique would do very well on the swim club, I think. Either way," Yuriya said as she got back to her feet, looking ever so serious again, "if we plan to make a torch we will need something more consistent than alcohol. There should be enough kerosene on the boiler room, the problem is that we will have to get the keys first, they should be on the Principal's office on this same floor. I wonder if we will be able to make it there?"

However, as soon as Yuriya's ears noticed the sounds of Shizune's rampage, Yuriya got to Shizune and Jack and tried to force them apart. "Shizune, no matter how much I would like to see you tear that idiot's throat apart, the last thing we should be doing is thin our own numbers. Furthermore," Yuriya looked at the hole left by the unexpected newcomer, before returning her gaze to Shizune and then everyone else, "As Todo said, we have to go, this place isn't safe anymore. However," she said, glaring at Jack with a serious hatred burning in her eyes, "the next time you do something this stupid, you'll wish that I had let Shizune do whatever she was going to do with you."

He glanced back at the great shaggy thing, practically drooling all over the floor.

@KoL

Someone please answer me, am I too dirty minded to have read this sentence and thought that Thomas was admiring something else about that dog?
Eris Reinhardt

"Are every single one of you stupid?" Eris asked with the same subtlety of a sledgehammer, after listening to all the arguing about Eclipse Princess being an Outlaw and things like that. "Why does everyone make so much drama over being an Outlaw? If nothing else, it is the most cost efficient, albeit risky, way of acquiring experience points on Deep Ground. Actually, the fact that the Ebony Strikers were intended to be a guild built around the usage of such tactics but are now housing the whiny children who can step forward and fend for themselves is a grievous offense to the guild's way of being. For crying out loud, that is the guild known for such things as in game prostitution and assassination, if any of you do not remember."

"But, like I said, I don't care anymore. You can do as you wish, reform the Strikers and turn them on the Saccharine Riders of the Bubblegum King, I just can't be less bothered about it." The look of boredom rose on Eris' face as she spewed forth her usual load of venom. Whether she was being sincere and back to her normal senses, or she was trying to cover up her real thoughts by being vitriolic, only Eris would know, though in all likelyhood, it was a mix of both. "Furthermore," Eris said, getting up from her seat, "you're mistaken about one thing, Shiro Kawabata. For the whole of my life, I have been nothing but the Bad Apple that breeds conflict."

"The the only problem was aligning the self in my mind and the I that is perceived by others. Either way, this is where we part for the evening." Eris said while taking her leave, making just one quick pass besides Aaron and scooping one of his fries, "It seems I have to make good use of the rest of my twenty four hours of a head start, right?" Eris threw the fry on her mouth and walked back home without even looking behind her to check if Cassandra was following.

"I... shouldn't have done that." Eris thought resting a hand over her stomach while she rode the elevator back to her apartment.
Emma Fujioka

"Oh? And you say that you would willingly follow a group of people you don't know, one of them having a gun, because they said they had business with you?" Emma said with an expression of disbelief on her face as she and Thomas got inside the cinema, "Prez, sometimes I think you're too naive for your own good. If you go back there and get beaten by those guys, remember that I told you."

"But, if you are going to throw the ticket I bought away." The readhead was about to hand the ticket to Thomas, but if he was going to go and meet those goons, she could as well use it in a better way, "I guess I'll see if Nixon wants to keep company to a lonely girl? You really don't care, right, Prez?" Emma said with a teasing tone behind her voice. Looking over the food court and noticing that the people around Aaron's table were starting to disperse, Emma sent a short voice message to Aaron, "Behind you you, Nixon!" as she waved for him to come closer while waiting for Thomas' reply.
Itsuko M. Kanzaki

"I would like it too, Hibiki. Actually, we still can do that, we are just kids, after al- Wha!?" Itsuko was glad with Hibiki's reply, having another friends would be good, or at east that's what the that person said to Itsuko. However, before she could finish saying that they could still grow together (both of them were still children, after all), a cat came running out of the blue and barrelled Hibiki.

Itsuko actually side-stepped out of the way of the homing cat on the nick of time and tried to help Hibiki keep her balance, reaching forth to grab the the other girl's arm but, the sudden movement got her unprepared. Itsuko fell, potentially dragging Hibiki with her (if Hibiki didn't let go of Itsuko's hand). The blonde hit the floor hit her right shoulder, wincing as the fall knocked some air out of her. Anyone that knew a bit about common injuries would notice that Itsuko probably fell over a cracked rib.

Though, the only one who would know for sure was a certain purple-haired girl passing through the food court nearby, probably from a distance which she could listen to Itsuko's cry and subsequent attempt to not worry Hibiki and that boy that just ran into them while seeking the cat. "Gah! H-heh, I guess... you can call that a cat-astrophe, right, Hibiki? Hehe-Ghh!" Itsuko said, as she tried to get back to her feet.
Absinthe Blue

Meanwhile, on the gates of the Blue City, Absinthe had just now located a certain Azure Panther and was staring down the shape of the smaller avatar with a grin on her lips. "Well if it's not a thematic day? Titania-sama is proud of welcoming any who wishes to join us. That's, if you are willing to work for the Cobalt Bruisers' glory. So, how do you wish to begin? With a basic tour around the place, or maybe already going out to work?" Absinthe said, before smiling at Azure Panther. "By the way, do I know you from somewhere? You strike me as conspicuously familiar."
