⚘ A Brief History ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.
Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.
⚘ Looking Inside ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.
Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

History
History: Clem grew up the daughter of a Conseravtive Republican family in the deep south. Her father was a member of Congress and a pastor to boot. She was raised Southern Baptist and stayed in line well into High School. A member of the youth choir and young republicans.
She attributes those years to being dropped on her head as a small child and only finally coming to her sense when a mule kicked her in the face during a tent revival gone wrong. What actually happened was when she met Mr. Miller, her debate coach in HS and he forced her to think instead of to follow.
After high school she attended Harvard and got a degree in Law with a minor in U.S. Government. During her first case a producer who she was hired to defend in a small case fell in love with her moxy and way with words. He helped launch her career and got her her own show on Comedy Central. They married but divorced a year later. A love of picking on politicians wasn't enough for her to over look him joining the Church of Scientology.They still work together but she still rags him both on and off screen about his religous choices.

The man is fun and laid back, that is until he sees something he deems to be wrong in his eyes. Then he will be blunt and even volatile, known to knock someone out if he feels the situation calls for it. When it does he is unapologetic about his actions. This only happens when it is someone or something else being hurt, if it involves him he just shrugs it off.

History
History: Chris was born in Jolly Ol London England. Only son to a teacher and a house wife. Life growing up for him was fine and dandy as far as he was concerned. His parents pushed him enough to make sure he did well in school and stayed out of trouble but kept things loose enough where he could stretch his wings and come into his own.
He dated some in h.s. and college and for the longest time figured he was just bi-sexual. That was until he realized that everyone he dated only had one thing in common; their ability to keep him on his toes in conversation. Thing was though many that could were smart enough to know they could manipulate him. And they did.
After University, he decided he was tired of taking tours to see the world and wanted to give them. He had always loved History, it being his major. So, applying as a tour guide was what he went for. Between his looks, his charming smile, knowledge and friendly attitude he was quickly getting full tours booked constantly.
He has been doing that ever since and is only going on this trip because his mother bought him the ticket. She just wants to see her boy happy and of course, like he would say no to her.

That is it! You are freaking tired of your mother trying to hook you up with her podiatrist; your best friend saying that the guy at the coffee shop is perfect for you and everyone asking at the family reunions when you are going to find a nice guy or girl to settle down with. It is never ending and you've tried the online thing only to be hooked up with a number of losers who look nothing like their uploaded image. It is time to get away from it all and just see if you can do something about this, if even for the week.
After some talk with your travel agent you found the spot. Pezula Castle in South Africa. It has sun, sand, mountains, romance and is for singles only. Okay you can do this. A Passport check and a flight later and you have landed in one of the most beautiful places you have ever imagined. If you find romance, great. If not least it should be a lot of fun just looking at all the yumminess running around the beach.
You begin on Day 1 of 5. You are settled into your room and are headed to the Speed Dating Event to kick off the weekend. You will be paired up, get 90 seconds to talk and then move on to the next. It's like an all you can eat buffet of hotties. At the end of the exchanges you will contact your trip coordinator (the GM Via PM) - and let them know your top five choices. After which you will be paired up for longer more intimate dates as the week progresses. Everything goes well you might actually find the love of your life. If it doesn't, you're at least going to have a good time right?
Wait, what happens if you really fall for someone that isn't interested in you? Well, try to crash their dates if you want! Show them where they messed up. Have fun with it! That is what this whole week is about! So, pack your bags! You're off to Africa and this isn't any Blending moment, this is pure unadulterated last chance option before you become the crazy cat lady or man. Let's see what you can dish up! Heck, are you seeing someone on the side when the dates aren't planned? Oh, this could get juicy.
Overview
Setting: Pezula Castle in Noetzie Beach, South Africa Time Frame: Modern Day - Starting June 1st, 2016 Rp Tags: Modern, Slice-Of-Life, High Casual, Romance Type Of RP: Character driven more realistic Rp What's Up: You will play two characters in this RP; 1 Male and 1 Female - that way we are assured of an even number of both genders. (You can still be any sexuality you wish though.) - We will start at the opening of the Speed Dating Scene and take things from there. This RP will go through the 5 days at the resort. The Beginning Speed Date will consist of a kick off where you will be randomly assigned your starting pair. Each pair will get 1 colab (or one post each) to go through your 90 second date. Then you will be repaired with another until each female has had 90 seconds with each male. After that is done, you will PM me, the GM, with your "likes" - I will tally them up and the ones who liked each other then most, top 5, will begin a series of planned dates that will happen over the week. At the end, votes will come back into me once again and we will see if anyone found the real thing. ^_~

What To Expect From Your GM
Greetings and salutations, I figured it was prudent to let you know a little about your GM and what you can expect. I have been at this RP business a long time, decades. So I have a pretty well worked out way of how I run things and what I expect in an RP. I am a bit picky but that only comes from years of dealing with many different things when it comes to RP.
First, you should know that I am serious about Rp even though it is a hobby. I don't put up with B.S., trolls, flakers, and so forth. I will kick someone from an Rp if need be but it is a rare thing. (Twice now in all my time as a Gm.)
Secondly, I do expect the rules I put forth to be followed - all of them. I expect a certain level, a high level, of respect and courtesy to be shown to myself and to your other Rpers at all times. If you wonder what that is, read my Guide To Rp Etiquette - which you should have by now since it is part of my rules.
Thirdly, my biggest pet peeve has always been and will always be those that do not follow posting rules set forth in RP. To not to do so is to be disrespectful to me and your fellow Rpers. I enforce posting rules more strictly than any other rules. To break those is a great sin and you shall be punished.
Next, while all of these rules may seem a bit much and I may come off as a hardass, I am actually a very laid back person and am willing to work with Rpers on most anything. As long as the lines of communication remain open and honest, I will bend over backwards for my Rpers when I Gm.
I do check posting habits and log ins. When you join an Rp of mine I add you to my friends list. This will show me the last time you logged in, even if you are set to hidden. So if you lie about logging in or being gone, I will know.
I am a firm believer of if you have time to spam and lurk you have time to post. It is all about managing your time wisely. Though most here on the forum are younger, I treat all Rpers as adults; with that comes personal responsibility. If you join you will be held to the same standards I hold my self to. I will refuse to let people join an Rp of mine that have given me issues in the past.
If you are new to Rp or still learning, I am more than happy to help you to become a better Rper. That includes things on teaching how to prep posts before it is your turn to post, how to do colabs, how to create and stick to your characters, how to improve posts, how to find inspiration, how to get a post done when it needs to even if you have no inspiration and so forth.
I like to get to know my rpers. What do you do, what your schedules are like, who you are. It helps me better understand my Rpers and how to better help them along the way and/or make their Rping experience more enjoyable.
Now that you know this, please make sure to use it as part of your consideration for joining the Rp. I know what I have said will lead many to not join but I assure you those that do will be taken on a wild ride of twists, turns, unexpected events, laughs until your cheeks hurt and many feels!

I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned. <br><br>	Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.</span></sub><br><br><font color="#a2d39c"><span class="bb-b">⚘ Looking Inside</span></font><br>━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━<br>	<sub><span class="bb-i">This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.<br><br>	Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy.
