@Pikmin Eye Alright. Nicely posted. Hitch a ride, eh. Haha. Let's see how that goes.

@Eklispe There's a river going alongside the solid ground through the exit, I imagined it being on the right side of your current facing, meaning it's on Cathia's left. But, yupp. You can totally go there. It doesn't exactly defend Nincada, though. Haha. Anyways. Nicely posted.

@Rune_Alchemist Teh-heh. Gym Leaders aren't meant to be easy. Good luck. Nicely posted. Let's see what this results in.
Okay, I'll just assume Sakura didn't have something to say, and even if she did, waiting to post silence felt weird. So there.
@t2wave@Shifter_Master@Ariamis@Card Captor@BrokenPromise

Mariette

Little birds told her, huh. That’s the second time she heard that one. What were the odds? That the Magical Girl she ambushed, in a different city no less, would join forces with the one she tipped off. As for what Lily was saying to her… She struck Mariette as an utter fool. Also, she thought they were friends? After a single very one-sided conversation? Mariette pondered what to possibly tell this girl when Violet spoke up for her.

‘...’ Sounded about right. Not entirely, but close enough. Mariette simply looked at Lily with a less than amused expression to see if she would change her statement or question.
and Deni

‘Eh?’ Deni blinked a little in surprise at Sue’s reaction, still smiling widely from the joke she was making but now touched with a significant dose of surprise. If that writing of clasping her hands went through, Deni let go of them as Sue paled, tried to explain herself away and quickly turned to the Djinn Sisters. Deni, on account of not being extremely dim, was not fooled however.

‘… Owa.’ She whispered a bit by herself as she sat back in the chair and turned back to the conversation, also momentarily pretending that didn’t happen, maintaining a wide smile and feeling a significant awkwardness. That wasn’t the intended reaction. What had she done now? Now what would she do? Ahahaha. She laughed awkwardly inside her mind, but anyways. Focusing on the conversation.
@Joshua Tamashii Heh. Good to know, she reacts to common cute stuff, too. Anyways, yes. Nicely posted.

@Project Yupp. Math checks out. So, onwards out of Pureplain City, finally. Yupp, good luck out there. Teh-heh. Nicely posted.

I'll only interrupt you while you're doing that if I see a clear reason to break multiple commands in the middle.
@Hammerman Oh, you mean, there. You tagged me, which made me think that you meant-

Sorry, my note of "everyone waiting on everyone" actually only referred to within the Pit Stop. Sorry for being unclear. XD
@Hammerman Oh, are you? What's your thinking?

@DarkwolfX37@Vocab

... *realizes I know who that is* ... ... ... Hah.

@Shifter_Master@Ariamis@t2wave Heh. After what Violet just said, Mariette's probably going to be silent and await how Lily responds with an unamused expression. Though, I could still write a Deni response to Sue's little reaction to supplement Mariette's empty staring. But, perhaps I should wait to see if Sakura says something?
I'd rather not post until all others in that section of the world (the warehouse) also have posted. So I'll be waiting a bit extra.
@Project Feel free to. Eklispe spared me from needing to go get the shopping-list, so feel free to simply buy what you want, not forget to actually subtract the amount from your total, and then head on to Route 1 if you want to. Honestly, as long as you know where you want and have previously crossed the areas in-between, I wouldn't mind pretty long-range instant travel, as long as we acknowledge it really took some time.

I don't think I've actually changed the prices particularly, but all things aren't available everywhere. Hah.
Aaah. That took longer than usual, due to all I got mixed up in. Anyways.

@Project You can't be that lucky every time, haha. Anyways. Up to you what to do now.

@Pirouette So, I knew you'd be caught-up to eventually, I just hurried it up to that moment. If you feel like that you'd have done something to stop this situation before that happened, feel free to tell it, otherwise this is what happens and Erika can act from there. Hah.

@Joshua Tamashii And you ran into another area. Just because. Unfortunately, there might not be many ghosts here, but eh. There are other things? Haha.

@Pyromaniacwolf ... Aaaand if you're not interested in that, you can just head for the exit. Yeah.

@Rune_Alchemist Don't underestimate the gut-feeling of a Fighting-type. ... But don't underestimate his inability to think ahead, either. A Timburr is nothing without his log, after all. Hahaha. Anyways, yeah. If Ralia wouldn't for some reason go through with the Confusion after that impact, tell me. Otherwise, moving onto the next one. How will you tackle this one? Probably not with Tackle, but, haha.

@Eklispe@Pikmin Eye Cathia makes adjustments to her plan. She still believes she can win like this. Heh.

@TheIrishJJ I apologize for nothing really happening to you, but I can't always pull something out when you're just sitting there. It becomes me reasoning "is this actually interesting" when I consider if I should just throw a character at you, and I find that most of the interactions I could have done weren't that interesting. So, up and head somewhere interesting, then I can have something interesting happen. That, and I was feeling stressed and wanted to get this up as soon as possible, and you did say you might not be able to post in a little while, so when you're back, feel free to start heading somewhere. Yeah. Haha.

[@All] Sorry for the wait. Now, then. If there are any problems, tell me, and I'll do something about them. Questions, give them to me. Otherwise, go for it. Yepp.
@Project

Kathryn looked at him in slight surprise when he started introducing himself, then gave him a little smile of encouragement.

‘Alright, then, Erza. I will remember that if you do make it big.’ She nodded to him and then listened on. She was a bit surprised at his last request to her, but she could smile.

‘There are clothing stores and barbers in Pureplain City, but you might find that the style they’re sporting here’s fairly… plain.’ Of course there’s clothing stores and such, IT’S A CITY. ‘If you want a place that prides itself on its coolness, then Justroad City’s the chic place to be and get all the coolest stuff.’ She momentarily dabbled in what she probably imagined being the current “cool, young” speech patterns. She reverted quickly enough. ‘… That may also be on the other side of Isson, though. Redcoast City has the Dreamer Studios, and a shopping street right around there for making idols, you should be able to find something cool there that’s considerably closer.’

She could point out where the stores were if Erza wanted to find them in-town. Otherwise, it was on outwards. Kathryn waved him goodbye before focusing on her current duties instead.

So, Erza found his way out to the grass outside the school. It was actually a little miniature forest, with plenty of places a Pokémon might be hiding. There were other trainers here, looking around, but they weren’t minding him right now. He instructed his Pokémon to search for him, and they found a couple Pokémon. Mostly cats lounging around, Purrloins that had been freed before, but also the occasional Shinx sleeping around here and there. Nothing that really threatened them.

Pokédex Entry #509 – Purrloin, the Devious Pokémon. It puts up a cute act to fool humans around it. It loves stealing things for fun and will act cute in order to make people forgive it. If endangered, it will counter-attack with sharp claws.

Pokédex Entry #403 – Shinx, the Flash Pokémon. When its muscles extend or contract, it generates electricity. When it senses danger, a Shinx will let the electricity run through it, causing it to glow. If threatened, it uses its muscles to flash a bright light to blind the predator while it flees.

Though, no rarer Pokémon could be found. In fact, he accidentally overheard two girls talking.

‘There’s no point looking further. The rare Pokémon have already been caught.’ One said.

‘Aaaaaaww…’ The other made a complaining noise. ‘What were they? Who caught them?’

‘Apparently, they were Amauras.’ The girl said in an observant tone.

‘EEEEEEEEEH!?’ The other girl overreacted. ‘… What are they?’

‘Oh, some ice-type fossil Pokémon…’ The girl said, pondering. ‘Daisy caught them both. She had special ways of detecting ice-Pokémon. Apparently Penelope’s trying to negotiate her to trade one of them.’

‘Ehe. Maybe if I went to see Daisy, I could have a chance of convincing her to give it to me instead…’ The other girl said dreamingly.

‘… Think you got something to offer Daisy that the successful idol Penelope can’t outbid?’ The girl said with an incredulous stare.

‘Aaaagh… Guess not…’ And that was the end of that discussion.

… So, what did Erza do? Of course, it was all up to what he wanted in this situation.

‘Gible!’ ‘Gib?’ ‘Gib-gib?’ ‘Gible!’ ‘Gible?’ ‘GIBLE!’ As Erika was pursued by a party of four Gibles, she could reasonably avoid them because thankfully they weren’t actually using tactics to hunt her down. However, the rush of unfamiliar activity was drawing the attention of other Gibles, watching curiously… and some joining in. And then more of them. Erika suddenly found herself pursued by the majority of the Gibles on the plateau, most of which hadn’t actually heard the rules, but it looked fun. A little blue swarm of teeth and muscles pursuing her every move.

Now, maybe she was faster than them. However, they were growing more and more numerous, and with that the amount of leeway she had to escape the masses shrunk on the limited space of the plateau. The fact that Gibles were joining from a bit of everywhere made dodging them all considerably harder before they joined the swarm. However, ultimately…

As described by the Pokédex, Gibles are Pokémon that lay ambushes for prey. One of them thought to use this to his advantage. Erika was running along, when…

‘GIBLE!’ One of them jumped out of the wall next to her with intention to catch her, and she wouldn’t have the time to dodge. She might catch him, though, if that was her immediate instincts. Otherwise she might be knocked over by the force of the 20 kg little monster jumping into her. Now, if that happened, don’t worry, the swarm of Gibles isn’t going to trample her, but if allowed to catch up they’d definitely all take their moment to tag her and look happy as they did, like they’d achieved something. Regardless, the ambusher looked really happy, wherever he was right now.

‘Gible~!’

So, how would she act after this? What might she do?

‘Th-that Pokémon might steal you away forever! You’re going to…!’ The trainer tried to justify himself. Seemed to be a rather considerable prejudice on Drifloons around here. Then… Amelia turned and fled. The opponent looked in surprise, but quickly started running to catch up. ‘W-wait!’

‘B-bons…!’ The little bonsai Pokémon complained, trying to run after, but wasn’t near as fast as the humans. In a moment of reconsideration that would mean Amelia got the head-start she needed, the trainer paused and spun around, returning Bonsly to its Pokéball, before turning around and running after Amelia again.

But, she managed to lose him, switching directions and hiding behind trees in the rainy part of this forest. Then sat down.

‘Where did she go!?’ … He reappeared behind her. That is, he was on the other side of the tree she was sitting by. She heard him move, looking around on the other side, but he wasn’t seeing her. Then… she heard him pick up something, press numerous buttons, while starting to hurry away.

‘This is Elite Jonas! I need all available Grunts from West Base to search Silent Forest for… … … … And she lost the ability to hear what he said as he ran off into the forest.

‘Driflooon…’ Drifloon, in the meantime, looked a little sad for the trouble that it had evidently caused for Amelia. But, that aside… looked like they were in a new area now. Because they were clearly not on Route 3 anymore.

‘Fla?’ ‘Bé?’ ‘Bé?’

… And all of a sudden three fairies floated down to her, with curious or worried tones and looks, flying on their flowers of varying colors seemingly unperturbed by the rain. There were more of them in this forest, Amelia could see that already from here. But these were closest.

Pokédex Entry #669 – Flabébé, the Single Bloom Pokémon. At the beginning of its life, this fairy picks a flower that then becomes a part of its body. It can draw out and control the hidden power of flowers, whatever that means. When it floats in the wind, any troubles in its heart is said to wane.

So, what now? She still held Drifloon.

Lucian could move on, without being any further troubled. Seeking towards the exit, he passed the place where they had previously encountered the Team Virtue grunts. They weren’t here anymore. Anyways. Lucian moved on, wading on through the river. He came to another split. Here, there were three ways.

The majority of the river continued to the left, where it was just a turn of the water flowing down, but if they listened well enough, it sounded like the current got more violent down that direction. What could await there?

Straight ahead was a basically straight line on solid ground, allowing them to get out of the water, though there was yellow light in the end of it. They couldn’t see from here, but the light looked artificial.

Then to the right, there was a fairly nice pathway where there was dry land for walking on to the left side of the gentle stream of water. That particular tunnel grew wider, leading who knows where when it curved out of sight.

So, Houndour could tell the exit was to the right. He could also tell Martin and Dawkin had travelled that route recently. But… he could also smell something a little different. There were Pokémon gathered straight ahead, of a kind that he had smelled before. It was at least a little more exotic. Up to them if they’d actually take a look.

If not, he could always just go directly towards the exit now.

While Timburr was running straight for her current location, Ralia was able to focus on the location of one of her clones and teleport, right before Timburr’s swing would have impacted as the little fighting-type swung it’s pole. It then looked around in confusion at the different Ralias remaining, noticing none that appeared out of nowhere. Hector led out a laugh.

‘GENIUS! You used Double Team to disguise the target of your teleport! I like your wit, trainer Claire!’ Then he grinned and focused on Timburr. ‘C’MON, Timburr! Focus! You’ll know which one’s the real one! Go ahead, she’s wide open for you! Do it! POUND!’ Hector commanded, but Timburr didn’t look quite as sure, looking panicked at Hector’s encouragement.

Ralia would notice something, however. Having teleported like this, she needed an amount of time to regain her bearing and to then refocus her power to use a Confusion. She couldn’t rapidly get another attack off after having used Teleport like this.

‘… TIM!’ Timburr glared in determined focus on the different Ralia’s around, trying to decide which one was the right one, with Hector glaring with a confident excited encouraging smile at him from a distance. Timburr looked back, and then forth, glared at one, and the other, then closed his eyes for a moment. … Then his eyes snapped open and he threw his log-pole, sending it spinning across the room!

Had he somehow found out, or was it sheer luck? Regardless, Ralia found she wouldn’t be able to get a Confusion off before the spinning, flying log impacted her without her being able to dodge. And for some reason, throwing that log still counted as Pound. The log impacted hard, dealing a considerable amount of damage, strong attack against low defense, before the log spun away and hit a wall with several Gym residents needing to move out of the way to not be hit.

‘WELL DONE! I knew you had it in you!’ Hector grinned widely and praised the Pokémon.

‘Timburr!’ Timburr looked up at the Gym Leader with a proud smile.

‘But, now you’re totally defenseless until you’ve picked up your log again!’ Hector said in the same proud tone.

‘Timb-?’ Timburr blinked up in surprise at Hector, wondering what he meant, just in time for Ralia to recover and actually get off the Confusion she was charging before.

‘TIMBU-!?’ And Timburr was hit by another Confusion, and was sent stumbling around away from Ralia before tumbling into the ground. Timburr had fainted. Hector laughed as he held forward the Pokéball and returned Timburr.

‘Well done, little guy! But for now, rest. Now, then. ISABELLE!’ He shouted out, and another Pokéball was lobbed through the room after a girl had shouted her acknowledgement. Hector caught it, flawlessly, and then threw it down into the ground with a grin.

‘This one evolved early, so it isn’t actually on as high a level as it looks, buuut…’ Hector was still grinning. From the flash of the Pokéball, stood up a slightly more than a meter-tall blue and black canine-like Pokémon with beige torso, standing focused and glaring ahead.

‘It’s still a Lucario. LUCARIO! GYM BATTLE…!’ Hector announced. Alike Timburr, a fire seemed to light inside the bipedal Pokémon’s eyes, and it extended its arms and looped them around the sides of its body, before doing one or two practice thrusts and a kick into the air, before planting its feet and raising its arms in a battle stance, glaring at Claire and Ralia.

‘Luuu…’ It challenged.

Pokédex Entry #448 – Lucario, the Aura Pokémon. It can sense the Aura of others, and can by that read their thoughts and movements, and can by that detect even far-off or hidden foes. They use this to detect prey, and also employ aura as offensive power. Often hunt in packs.

‘And so, by the rules.’ Hector grinned still. ‘You may enter one more Pokémon.’ And so it was.

Nincada moved in to take the Vine Whip, and did so successfully, only taking a slight bit of the damage Wooper would have taken due to Flabébé’s naturally low physical attack against Nincada’s high defense. However, before he could attack…

‘Flabébé, pull away, to your right.’ Cathia ordered, and Flabébé drifted sideways away from Nincada’s scratch. Vine Whip had longer range than Scratch, enabling this. Meanwhile, Wooper shot out a Water Gun at Bagon, which… had barely any effect on the dragon, who met the water-beam head on, and pushed through. Not Very Effective.

‘Flabébé, Fairy Wind on Nincada. Bagon, Rage.’ Cathia commanded, looking forward at the enemies.

Should they be allowed to do as they pleased, Flabébé summoned the forces of fairy-kind from a slight distance and smiled oh, so, happily…

‘Flaaaaaa...!’ … Before launching the wind of mystical energy at Nincada, a wind that could prove difficult to avoid. Meanwhile…

‘BAGON-!!’ Bagon glared at Wooper and dashed for her, taking heavy dragon-step after heavy dragon-step for its size (that thing weighs 40 kg!), eyes glaring in the anger of Rage, dashing for her.

Now, what would they do?

Yupp, Rory had to wave off various people who knew him in Highill, but he was wished the best of luck and with hope that he’d make their town proud, the children looking up to him because going on a Pokémon trip is awesome. But other than that, he was on his way once again. So, he headed for the Pokémon Center to heal.

He then sat down in the Center, checking if anyone would join him. While he did sit there, he did see a couple young Pokémon trainers rushing in to get their Pokémon healed, an elderly traveller that sat down to relax by himself, and a couple of female trainers in a group talking about their experiences together as they moved through.

But, uh, nope. Nobody paid him any mind. Sure, there were trainers coming and going here and there from having been around Route 1, 3 and potentially Silent Shrine/Forest, but none paid any particular mind to him. Bear in mind that the Pokémon Center was a place of unwinding for any trainer, where they can sit and just relax. Now, sure, there could always be those that approached those sitting around, but not this time. Rory was free to sit there as long as he wanted to. Maybe something would happen if he just stayed here?

Or maybe he should get a move on?

Connected areas:
Route 1. To the south, is the common route of first journeys. Green and straight.
Route 3. To the north, the route to Rainrock or the Silent Shrine. A wet woodland.
Route 14. To the east, the lake known as the Dragon Lake, potentially for crossing.
