Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

We plan to start this RP in around a week's time. Hopefully July 1st. Those of you who haven't submitted a paper, I suggest getting to it. Though you can join in later if you wish.

Those that have been accepted. excellent job!
@JbcoolWell when he took control of the equipment/weapons for selling stuff, as well as when he was a law enforcer, he'd gotten familiar with various types of equipment. Though I could have him become the quartermaster of his unit when he was in the military.
In my opinion, blaming religion for the violence/persecution of humanity is like blaming a car for a reckless driver. Should we just do away with cars? Religion is just an excuse. If there was never a religion, we'd have fought/killed one another for other reasons. We already know what it would be like to actively destroy religion. Stalinist Russia, and there was much more violence and persecution there than say, religious America.

@TangletailTroll one. Though you can look around town, or go back and see if a new one has shown up. But Troll one was the only one that morning. It is now after lunch.

Remember peeps. Big city. Time to get creative. Tell me what you wanna do in your next post, and what direction you got to. I'll lead from there.
Or fruitin' go to the brothel.

TBH the whole history of Germany can be described as "Oh boy, let's destroy Europe!"

Fucking Germans at it again

Well, for a long time Europe was at each other's throats. It literally switched between Nations. Germany just happened to be relatively recently.
@MiddleEarthRoze@LadyTabris Thought I got everyone in the tag, but posted :)
WOOOOOO, YES!
In the distance, the rolling clouds billowed forward as the daytime progressed. Thunder boomed upon the northern horizon as the afternoon sun was blotted out. The Dwarfs chuckled and conversed in their native tongue once they finished with their merry tune.

The Drabarian pipped in when they asked him a question. Apparently there was a shared language as they spoke. He regarded Mallow curiously, but then shook his hand with a grip that could shatter stoner. The travelers seemed to have, for the most part, begun to relax from their long journeys and sit down a spell.

The minutes slipped by, and lunch was in the process of being eaten by many of the vagabonds and travelers. It caused many of them to nearly drop their meals when they heard one of the booms of thunder much too close for what was conceivably possible. It seemed to happen just above the Cairn, and yet the realization was now clear as day. There had been no lightning.

It was the Dwarves and Drabarian that looked upwards first, as well as the Gypsy. They gazed into the sky, less than a mile north of them and almost directly upwards. At first, there was nothing. No thunder or sound. Merely grey clouds obscuring the sky and teasing the vision. And within moments, it changed. Two shapes hurtled downwards, looking very small at first but swiftly growing to huge proportions. Great membranous wings flapping to and fro as two great creatures ripped and tore one at another in freefall.

"Dragons!" The leaner Dwarf cried, helping his other companion up as the two grabbed their things and hightailed out back down the slope as fast as their stubby legs could move. Above, the Dragons hurtled toward the Cairn in a grappling ball of fire, claws, and muscle.

@POOHEAD189 Maybe I just need to find the right teacher. I tried to pick up a little Swedish to wow my Swedish friends, its tantalizingly familiar to English, except when its not :(

Aaaw.
If you break down sentences between English and German, you can see a lot of similarities. For example:

Ich liebe den Hund

"I love the dog"

The way the words sound when you say them sound strikingly similar. "Ich" sounds very much like "I" "liebe" sounds like love. Den is the only one you'd need to think on. Hund is of course a word for Hound.
@PennyI understand. Though as odd as it sounds, my Western Civ professor gave a lesson on the german language, and it's apparently extremely similar to english if we break it down sentence by sentence. Probably the easiest language for an english speaker to learn, in all honesty. I can't teach it like he did though.
