all right long post but now you all have a bit more info on how Naswaru creates things. also character creations have been updated to include Caretaker's. the Ice god now has a chance to get a leviathan. I left him in his realm because I will be gone from the 1st to the 12th of November and didn't want to leave anyone feeling stuck.
Naswaru The Relentless.

The shadows whisper echoed through his senses. It seemed that it was a bit too much to ask for. Wanting her to come out of her shell to join the rest of the world would take more coxing then just a few words and sentences. “Light does not reach into the earth unless brought there. If you found a large enough cavern underground, far from the light… I could fill it with many things you could call your own.” The large being regained his composure and stood. “All you have to do is ask.”

They were interrupted by their brother, the god of lies seemed to be fully entangling himself with in the spire. He seemed to be engulfed by it. Slowly the light from the spire faded and where the god of lies once was stood another. Similar in body language but different in appearance. Naswaru was looking this new being over as where a few of the random experiments of the other gods. Then he spoke, something about Iarus, the God of Fear.

So that is what the spire was for. A new chord it would seem. This had never happened before at least not to his knowledge. The huntsmen knew he wasn’t invincible and that he could die but this was something different. To bond to a new chord entirely, presumably casting aside the old for the new. He was honestly impressed to see his brother grow but did he truly let go of his old self or did he simply hold onto both chords and lie about it? Questions for another time.

This whole thing was astonishing yes, but it seemed to have finally ended as the land and the plants began to move back toward the spire and away from each other. Perhaps this would be a good place to revisit and investigate. For now, he had other business to attend too. Before he could leave, a portal opened behind them with another creature that came walking out. The crystal entity delivered a letter before waving good bye by smashing its head with a rock.

Naswaru read the letter for a moment before leaving it for Oao, “you know how to find me if you wish to talk. I hope your day goes well.” The only real good bye he would give her before taking off. He did not wish to go to either of the summons that were brought to him. A few things needed to be done. One of his many entrances was nearby and did not take him long to reach and enter.

>>>>>>>>>>>

Entering his twilight home, the god spread his leathery wings and glided over the many landscapes. To him this place was beauty. It was after all his domain, his home. The separate biome's separated by endless and interconnected streams of thick mist. A boundary guarded by his Caretakers, one would think they looked like a cross between a heavily armored armadillo, an ancient reptile, and a big cat. Predatory in nature, these Caretakers keep the populations of the animals living here at manageable levels while also protecting his home.

The plateau that held what one would call his home was made up of vast huge trees that although spaced neatly apart from one another reached far into the sky and toward the cavern roof. The leaves held many colors that seemed to ripple and change like water and a light breeze. Bark seemed to vary as well, from natural oak and pine bark to stone or ice covering them. The trunks held a green gelatinous ooze with the center of each tree being hollow. The ooze was separated by great circular platforms that seemed to vary. Seeds, large and small, would grow at the base of these magnificent trees.

Each seed was made of the same bark materiel that covered its tree while being slightly clear or see through. Within each of these held something small, whatever floated inside the protective vessel seemed to move or twitch slightly. If one were to open it, they would find an infant creature. This was how Naswaru made and modified his creations. Everything starts as an idea that gets more and more work done to it the farther it goes down the tree. That is until it reaches the bottom where the final adjustments are made before it is released into its pod.

Every one of these creatures spends time with the huntsmen until they reach maturity. This is, so he knows it will survive, and he can bond with it, imprint knowledge that will be passed down to the next generations on how to hunt and survive. It was a long process but he enjoyed it. One such creature was finished with its growing period and ready to be released from its tree. This creature was special in that Naswaru had made it specifically for one of his brothers. He takes great pride in his work but whenever he does this for one of the others he can only get it so far.

Once it has reached the stage of its life where it is in a pod and ready to be brought into the world. The creature requires the divine energy of whom ever it was made for to awaken. This was to make sure it would bond with whomever it was for. This specific creature would grow into one of the largest creatures he’s ever made. Not only that but it has taken far longer than most of the other creatures he has made as well.

Sveiand the cold one, this one was made for him. A companion that will pass the test of time and survive his cold nights. The leviathan class creature although starting out small in time can very well reach the size of ice bergs. Its pointed lengthy body would be meant to match the frozen tundra and would be a very strong swimmer. With a friendly temperament toward its master with a playful nature in its younger years to give it time to bond. Growing into unflinching loyalty paired with matching intelligence. Naswaru was satisfied with this creation. All that had to be done now was delivered it to the god.

Emitting a sub sonic sound while he inspected the large crystal pod he called forth 3 of his Caretaker’s. The large armored creatures bounded up towards him and the large white tree. They approached slowly while the huntsmen inspected the crystal pod. Plucking the pod from the tree Naswaru turned and walked up to one of the caretakers placing it in front of it and speaking a word, “Niflheim, Sveiand.” It was all he said, it was all he had to say.

The three creatures turned and took off toward one of the nearby portals. One picked up the crystal pod with its mouth. They had a location and a recipient. Their scales slowly began turning a white and blue color as they leaped through the ice covered portal. And with that they were gone, leaving Naswaru to his own devices once more. The three would emerge from a small cave near the god of ice’s home and make their way to his palace where they will wait to deliver the package before returning.

Ghoul Gird
Time to go home >>>> Gird is Evolving /// Day 6 // Morning

The dream came again after he accepted the question that he was prompted with. “Do you wish to evolve?” of course he did, that was the point wasn’t it. To become stronger, to be more than what he is, to be worthy of his goddess, and powerful enough to protect the others. That and by the looks of the other creatures around this place he could tell they were different. Nothing else in the area seemed to be able to progress like they did. This means that they will soon become a challenge, and he will be ready when someone comes to answer that challenge.

This dream was similar to the last one but everything seemed different. He still could not see himself, but he was in the dirt field again. The skies where clear but looked as if everything was stuck at perpetual twilight. The forests on the outskirts of the field held only dead white trees, little to no vegetation grew, and a pile of old bones were scattered in a heap in front of him.

A cold breeze twisted its way across the field, a quiet whisper moved through the wind speaking a language he had never heard. It sounded ancient and powerful, the voice sounding like the combination of hundreds of other voices speaking over each other. “Asatru ni ondem, ishka velya nandem, Gird ina surya, Aska brise kulva” the bones slowly clambered together and rose as full skeletons. They stood before him with red eyes just like the ones they fought that night. After what seemed like hours the undead slowly turned and walked off toward the forest.

Gird woke with a start, again he was breathing deeply as he stood up in the church. The early morning breeze was cool against his skin, but he felt restricted. His spider web and bone armor was a little small for him now and would need adjusting. The now Ghoul took a moment to inspect himself, jet black hair bristled along his head and shoulders, his skin seemed to almost be falling off in some places, and his eyes seemed to be more sensitive to the light when he first looked into it. He felt lighter and stronger than before. Not that he could lift anything heavier than he could, but that it was almost effortless to move his limbs. He felt like he could fly.

Gird took a moment to adjust his armor before standing and looking around the others seemed to be sleeping still, Goblin Grandpa didn’t seem to notice him as he kept an ever watchful gaze out the door and into the forest. It was strange, being able to see his own bone under his flesh. It didn’t hurt and it didn’t feel cold, It was just strange.

Gird stood the rest of the way up and walked up to Grandpa Goblin, “another glorious day” he said as he walked by and into the sunlight. He could hear faint whispers now but wasn’t entirely sure where they were coming from or what they were saying. As he made his way to the graveyard where he first met his goddess, the ghoul could still hear the whispers. He eventually made his way to the shaded area where he received his mark and sat down. Leaning against the building gird began to just breathe and listen to the world around him as well as the subtle whispers.

“Duvelna, I do hope this form and those souls I have granted you are pleasing. If there is anything you wish of me to do now, please enlighten me.”

Ardur The Pixie
PROMOTED! >>>> Strange occurrence's /// day 8 // Evening / Location - J11

Reaching the slimes cave and uncovering the entrance showed little activity in the area. The slime seemed rather frantic with a want and desire to get into the area. The pixie was unsure why he was so desperate to get into his small cave but followed him inside. He watched as the slime cautiously approached two different crystals.

They were odd colored and definitely not mana crystals. The slime picked up one and slowly touched the other. For a moment it looked like nothing was happening. It would seem that trying to see body language with a blob of goo was rather hard to see. Let alone interpret. However, by Jason’s next actions he could tell he was in pain.

The slime leaped on one of the crystals and seemed to be vibrating or at the very least in pain. One of the dire rats, that Ardur couldn’t quite remember his name, moved up to the slime with a bit of panic. Another rat seemed to come up and inspect the slime and the red crystals while also seeming to try to calm the other rat down.

Ardur stepped forward and toward the slime stopping just short of him, “Hey Ed, was it? Why don’t you go and watch our backs with the wisp? Be a real problem if we get cornered in here while he’s doing whatever it is he’s doing.” Ardur spoke calmly and rather professionally. It’s not the first time he’s had to redirect someone’s effort to help in an emergency, sometimes they can do more harm than good.

Looking back to the slime and the now obvious pain he was in the pixie decided to use a spell he hadn’t used yet. Ardur reached out and cast Minor Heal III on the slime knowing how well it drained him. Then stepped back as the other dire rat began to do something to the slime.

@demonspade64 yeah but im willing to carry on even with a small group.
@Jangel13 gird has the expirence and qualifications for his next evolution. Just hope that his bone armor gets involved somehow lol.
@Jangel13
so not trying to sound pushy or impatient just trying to voice a concern here. my concern is this, that if we continue to postpone the next day and evolutions for the other characters that this RP will stall out again and this time wont be able to restart. what im asking for is a forced time skip to the next day to get everyone back on the same page and time line.
Naswaru The Relentless.

Still reeling from the shock of almost being torn apart. The huntsmen stayed where he was against the tree breathing deep. Trying to come to mind and figure out what he just went through. The monstrosity that landed next to him didn’t even make him flinch compared to what he just felt. It shook him to his core, yet somehow he could feel something else. Fear was a great motivator.

The fear he felt was something he wasn’t entirely aware that he had. However, now that he felt it he knew what he had to do. He had to continue his work and work with his children to become stronger to keep evolving and adapting. He just wanted to wait till the end of this spire and see what becomes of their brother of deception before heading home.

The beast next to him seemed impatient even as he grabbed the parchment from its hands. He read the parchment quickly before tossing it into the aura of fear. Naswaru watched as it mutated and shifted just inside the barrier before flying off into the dark forest. He could only wonder what he just did. Looking back to the creature he spoke to it. “Tell my brother that I am curious of this meeting, but I am busy. If I am able to come, I will be late to his gathering.”

The large god wasted little time turning from this creature and moving through the trees towards the dark shimmer he saw earlier. Looking for his dark sister was something he was always interested in. he wanted to see why she pulled herself away from her realm just to come here. When he finally found the moving shadows in the trees he stopped and found a place to sit. Watching his brother be torn asunder in the light of the spire.

“It is good to see you Oao. I thought for sure you locked yourself away in that cocoon of yours for good. Although we never really talked much I’m glad to see that you took a risk, perhaps you could grow from this and join us in shaping this world?” He never really had any ill will towards her. She was older than him but in his early years of god hood he would find comfort in the embrace of her shadows. Whether she meant for that to be the case or not he wasn’t sure. “What do you think of this thing? Its power is different yet it opens one’s mind to the truth of their being.”

still here just a little busy at the moment.
Ardur The Pixie
Don't mess with the white mage >>>> PROMOTED! /// day 8 // Evening / Location - J11

Ardur was breathing heavily while he watched. Too tired to do anything the pixie sat down and tried to calm his beating heart. This fight was in the hands of the others now, and he surrendered to the fact that he would just get in the way. While resting, he was able to go over his skill points with his new level increase. He must have been close because Rattleskull wasn’t even dead yet before he got his new level.

Looking down the list while the fighting continued in the back ground. He had 7 points to distribute for his third level. The selection this time had also increased which was nice as well as noticing the new shield spell and the fact that he was almost half-way to a new healing spell made him smile. Ardur continued to ponder the other skills, they would surely take some time to level some more than others. Considering this and the direction of the cave reborn currently.

Ardur placed 4 of the 7 points into taming to bring it up to a usable skill and put the remaining 3 points into fireball bringing it up to 0.7. He could only hope that this would help him out in the long run.

His attention turned back to the fight at hand while he continued to rest. Rattleskull was going down quickly in a state of near confusion. Obviously he had never faced such opposition with so many foes. It was easy to understand that having so many creatures working together would be strange to anyone. Even then, such information was useful. It meant that any other creature that would oppose them would be caught off guard at least momentarily by their team work. Even if, it was a bit sloppy.

Finally, the boss monster fell and it took all their might and tricks to finally win. The creature died in anguish and fear. Their kill was not clean by any means. Ardur could only hope that the next things they fought would go quicker. He never really minded death or gore, but he didn’t particularly like suffering. It just isn’t what he is into.

Then he received another notification, “You have overcome a harrowing trial! Your Battle experiences have culminated in new power! You are now Level 4! You gain Skill Points to use as you please!”

“Another level up and 5 more skill points?” well then this was definitely a strange occurrence. Ardur quickly put 3 of the 5 skill points into Fireball giving him Fireball I. the last two points into Stronger making it go from 0.6 to 0.8.

The others seemed to finally take a break and rest, the slow realization of what just happened slowly seemed to dawn on them. Ardur sighed making his way to the goblin leader. Stepping up to the lifeless former foe he watched as the others began to start processing the loot from this kill. Ardur stayed out of their way for the most part, he was only interested in one thing. Food. Something he found easy to get to near the neck. The others had already started to behead the corpse and pulling a few strands of muscle fiber off between their cuts seemed to satisfy him.

It didn’t taste good, it never did. Still, he nonetheless ate the large goblins flesh while standing away from the others. The wisp that he gave the mana crystal too earlier approached him thanking him for the crystal and tried to ask about teaching him some magical skills. Before he could answer another pixie came into the picture and began to converse with him. They spoke of spells and ability’s he didn’t know of before demonstrating them.

Ardur would try to remember what they said about their own abilities before speaking his peace. “I would love to train with you in spells but later.” A bright fiery flash could be seen in the distant cave. “As you can see the goblins are still pressing towards us, and they don’t know their leader has fallen. I don’t know about the rest of you reborn, but I don’t really want to kill any more of them.” He paused for a moment to consider his thoughts. “I mean we killed their leader, their strongest. All that’s left is crispy, but he seems smarter than Rattleskull and could be reasoned with to live in harmony with one another. Or at the very least in peace.” He wiped the goblins blood from his mouth and looked towards the others. “The least we could do is try. However, if the rest of you choose to continue this killing spree I won’t get in your way.”

Ardur was interrupted by a sudden shift and froze in place. something seemed off yet enchanting about their home. that with the new information about their world and this new dungeon could be a problem. hopefully it doesn't draw in more powerful creatures. they needed to rest and regroup before facing a new threat.

Jason seemed to have other plans. As everything seemed to settle and the others looked to be lost in their own thoughts and feelings, the slime called out to him for a heal. Ardur was close by him and thought the yelling after the headache he just received was a bit much but ok. The pixie was able to cast Minor Heal II on Jason before he sped off. Whatever it was he was doing made him quite curious so the pixie followed suit keeping pace with the slime and flying just above him.
