Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

"Thanks, Kriev." Kiri grunted, catching the translator as the elf woman spoke. Awfully presumptuous, wasn't she? She narrowed her eyes at the elf as they walked, still wary of whatever it was she was planning and where she was taking them. Following an unknown person through a forest was sketchy at best, even more so when it seemed as though they were being hunted. Besides, who says they could trust this woman?

"Kirimik Drakat from the Elmyran Confederacy." Kiri replied, not paying much mind to whatever it was the elf was doing. Wasn't important, though it reminded her of old stories of the Aracha Shamans and their abilities to command the forests. "And why should I trust you enough to tell you what we're doing here?" She questioned. "I'll trust that you aren't inherently hostile towards us, but that doesn't mean you are our comrade. So you better start talking - and quickly before I change my mind."

Truthfully, they had already confirmed life on this planet. They should set up comms and attempt communication with the planets leaders.

The Brain-eating Shoggoth helped the Dryad to her feet as best she could. Iva was glad Nara didn't prod her for information regarding what had just happened. Easier that way that no one else knew for now. Not until she decided what she wanted to do herself. What she did know though, was that heading for a town full of people would be the best course of action. At least for her. She could appear relatively normal with her earrings. She'd just need to make sure not to get super touchy with anyone.

"Hm..." Iva thought for a moment. "...It'll be fine. I can just eat them if they say anything." That probably wasn't a joke, judging from her deadpan voice and the fact Nara knew exactly what she was. Really, Iva was internally apprehensive about it and at the same time, there was a part of her that looked forward to it. Ha, it seemed that she really had become her Avatar. So tiring. She wondered what brain actually tasted like?

"We should go." Iva continued letting go of Nara as she took a few steps in the direction the Troll had mentioned. "I could use a good meal...and I'd like to test some things." Could she really put infant brain-eaters in peoples head, for example, and would they be the same as her? Loyal, too? Or just do their own thing? She was curious. A little too morbidly curious. As well, how well could she use her abilities to control others?

Maybe this little town of Jhorm could be a place she made home.

What was this? Chieko followed the others to the main road, for the most part staying quiet until they arrived at the main road. Look at them! Those were...actual fantasy creatures!? They looked like some sort of small lizard! Oooh, she wanted to ride one! They were so cute, too! As Vasilis went off to fetch them a ride, Chieko simply watched them pass by. The trauma of earlier was slowly leaving at the sight of such relative mundane events. It was rather calming, wasn't it? But that left the question of what even happened. Somehow, they managed to escape death.

Irene bought her out of her thoughts as she mentioned their clothing. Ah, yes. It made sense they stood out a bit. In fact, now that she thought about it...standing out so much was rather embarrassing. Not arousing suspicion would be good, then. Though at the same time, standing out was something any good hero such as herself should do. Hm.

"...!" When the carriage finally arrived, Chieko had to resist going and petting it, physically refraining from doing so as Irene and Aerith both did it. Of course, she couldn't do it! Even if she wanted too! Who did they think she was? Someone that went around petting cute things? Hmph, no of course not. So regrettably, she refrained from petting the dragon even though it was clear as day she wanted too. Instead she shook her head no, doing her best not to make eye contact and got in the carriage as she fell back into her mildly Chunni tendencies.

The ride was fairly peaceful. It was a good time to collect her thoughts. Vasilis even decided to talk a little about magic! Though, he didn't seem like he'd be the best teacher. He seemed really into explosions, which she could sympathize with. Explosions were cool, and anyone who could do one was certifiably also cool, but it didn't take them long to reach their destination. She exited the carriage after the others, hopping down and tightening her scarf slightly as she observed the shopkeeper speaking to them.

...

Oh what the hell. It was the totally suspicious fox girl from earlier. Who, while adorable, was also someone she was incredibly suspicious of. Chieko didn't reply, merely gave Fritzi a completely neutral stare as she glanced over to her companions then to the clothes. Hm...what should she buy? She didn't exactly have any money on her.
@BurningDaisies

I certainly don't think its a bad idea considering we have three wanting to apply at once here.

Really late over here so can't really voice my thoughts entirely as brain's about to shut down after being up since 3AM, but really I'll be fine with either way.

Well, that went about as well as she had excepted.

It seemed Nartur wasn't quite so receptive to negotiations. Going so far as to even accuse an honest woman such as herself as scheming and using them as pawns. Here she was hoping she was smarter than that. Oh well. If she'd have to get a little forceful, she would. If Nartur wanted her to show some grit, then she could. She wasn't going to be intimidated by this Orc. Her mother was far scarier than this half brain dead fool could ever be.

"Hmph. Is that how you treat all your guests, Miss Nartur? Or just the ones prettier than you?" There was a definite hint of smugness in her voice as she said that. She'd have liked to have said more too, but she needed to keep it short and too the point or else it'd just go in one ear and out the other. "Accusing me of scheming when I was just looking for a good time with you and to honestly purchase your services and Hashish Resin. Here I thought you orcs were the honorable sort." Taking steps closer to Nartur, she placed herself right in front of the Orc with very little regard for her own safety at this distance.

"I was even planning on spending all my coin here, but fine, you want me to show you 'grit', miss Nartur?" She reached up and grabbed the orcs ear, and twisted. "Fine. I'll play your game instead. I'll take a single bundle of Hash. I will pay you five gold for it, as well as for your services escorting me out of town...if you don't, well," Livia paused for a moment. "I suppose I'll have to tell all everyone how uncooperative you orcs are being. That wouldn't be good for your reputation now would it? Does that sound more palatable to you, or will you continue to be uncooperative?"

She had no idea if this would work or not, and quite honestly she wasn't sure she'd survive if this completely enraged the Orc. However...if it did work, and she could get on good terms with them, even shaky terms, then she could easily make use of them later.

"Of course Lord Xavier." Lena replied in response. "My shield is yours!" Covering someone wasn't particularly her specialty, but she could do it. The Elf put herself in front of Xavier, shield moving swiftly and slamming her shield right into the heads of the various undead. Any undead or even the death Knight that was wreaking havoc - none were saved from her shield. She slammed the ornate gold shield into an undead, lifting the foul creature high above her head before slamming it into a nearby wall, crushing it entirely between her shield and the hard surface. She swiftly turned, clipping the head of one undead with the side of a shield and sending the skull flying into the air.

Incidentally, it also happened to fly right into Tania's face.

"Gah! Hey watch it!" She shouted.

"Sorry." Lena replied in a mildly dishonest sounding fashion.

"W-wha? That didn't sound like you meant it!" Frowning, Tania grumbled before focusing on the rest of the undead and notably the necromancers. Ho...seemed he had tried to be a slippery little thing. Where had he gone? Slipped out while none of them were watching? Hm. No matter. She'd find him and play with him later. "Hey hurry up and deal with these guys already muscles! I got some apples to feast on back in the dining hall!"
Wow

I really

Procrastinated on that post

I profusely apologize, but there it is.

"Haaa, so tired." Flopping down onto her bed, Suzue hugged the pillow and yawned tiredly. Getting home was easy. Dealing with her siblings were not. She had to deal with Seiko who was being bullied by Keiko. The twins never seemed to get along so she was always being mediator. One of her younger brothers had failed one of their school exams and she had to scold him a little. Another got into trouble for fighting at school. Not to mention she had to immediately cook for them when she got home. All in all, it was a tiring day, and it wasn't even over yet. She had to go to the Park for that Club. Honestly, she just wanted to not go. Curl up, put on some american metal and just watch people beat the snot out of each other on a sports channel.

Ah, why couldn't she have someone doting on her like she doted on her siblings?

Rolling over and sitting up, she walked over to her closet. Well, might as well get dressed, but what should she wear? Dress? Her Leather jacket and jeans? Hmm, no, don't want to shock her club mates too soon. Something simple, yet elegant. Hmm...a light blue blouse with some boots and a skirt should be fine. Quickly tossing off her clothes, she began to get dressed when she noticed she had someone watching her from her doorway.

"...Hmm, watching people get dressed is a bad habit, Keiko." Suzue smiled, turning her head in the direction of the door.

"Ah..." Being discovered, she poked her head fully through the door. "Sis is getting dressed! You goin' out?"

"Yes," Suzue replied, pulling on her blouse. "I'll probably be out late, so make sure your brothers and sisters behave, alright?"

"Where you goin?"

"Oh, just to the park. The club I mentioned is meeting there."

"...you got a boyfriend, didn't ya?"

"...huh? Whatever makes you think I got one of those?" While a nice thought, Suzue wasn't particularly interested in such a relationship.

"So you got a girlfriend then!?" Seiko seemed a little more upset at that thought than the previous one.

"What makes you think your sister even swings that way? Better yet, where did you even learn of such relationships. I don't need to go through your internet history, do I?" Suzue sighed, but the suggestion caused Keiko to visibly recoil. Keiko was going to start trouble again, wasn't she? Fufu, perhaps she could have her fun here as well. "...but if I did, you know what's going to happen right?" A smile crept across her face as she walked out the door to her room. "They'll take me from you, and you'll never see me again~" She gave Keiko a brief flick on the nose, causing the smaller kid do let out a cry of surprise and a brief yelp.

"W-what hey that's no fair! Suzue is my big sister!"

"Fufu, better hope I don't then, right?"

"I'm telling everyone else!" Before Suzue could stop her, Keiko ran off down the hallway "SUZUE'S GOT A BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND AND THEY'RE GONNA TAKE HER FROM US!" Laughing quietly, Suzue left her home and headed for the park. Hmm, maybe she should invite the club over for a study session or just hanging out later. Watching them play with her siblings would be indeed, quite fun.

Arriving at the park, it seemed like she was one of the last ones there this time. Understandable, since she had take quite some time to get ready in the first place. It seemed like a few were already practicing their abilities. Hm. She hadn't had much time to get better with her thread weaving since she had been so busy, but she should probably find some time to do that. More importantly, it seemed Akira had just made a rather dangerous and quite ridiculous entrance. Bag slung over her shoulder, she gave him a concerned frowned.

"Akira, that's dangerous. Please don't do something so foolish. You might hurt yourself." walking over to the president, she smiled. "Sorry for the lateness." Suzue apologized "My siblings were quite the handful...Keiko insisted I take her so she could 'protect me from this vicious individual who was obviously dating me'." Suzue laughed lightly, standing next to the sitting president.

The hug was welcome, even if it wasn't entirely shown on her emotionless features. Even a brief hug would have given Nara a small coating of slime, or at least an unpleasant clammy feeling. Why? Iva couldn't fathom why she was always so nice to her. Annoying even, though in a good way. She was glad Nara was here after all. Someone to talk too, even if she never was able to say much. Someone that didn't make fun of her. Someone she could be her normal awkward self around. It didn't show on her face, but she was happy.

Shaking the thought from her head, she focused back on their predicament. It seemed as though she had quickly come to the same conclusions as she had as well about their predicament. Whether they liked it or not, they weren't in Yggdrasil or even on earth any more from the look of it but before they could theorize further the earth began to rumble. Before Iva could make her own move, Nara moved faster. She pulled her aside, taking a defensive posture and readying a spell. It seemed as though she intended to protect her as well.

Huhu.

She really was glad Nara was here.

Not far from them, a large, lumbering creature seemed to pull itself from the ground. It looked like a rock, some sort of large stone. Patches of leaves vines and putrid wood seemed to weave around the stony frame. Some sort of golem? The answer quickly became apparent. Cracks formed on its chest, giving the thing an impression of a mustached face with a long wooden nose. A troll then? How tiresome. She'd let Nara handle it. Trying to communicate with it would be tiring and headache inducing.

The way it spoke quickly reinforced that opinion. The troll spoke with a long, heavy accent using words that made her question its IQ. Trolls were notoriously stupid, but this was ridiculous. It hurt her brain even trying to understand what it was saying. She did at least gather it was telling them to get lost. She could do that. She wouldn't mind leaving. She wasn't looking for a fight, after all...though. how did troll brain taste? Probably tough and bland, just like their personalities.

As Nara spoke with the troll, Iva contended herself with with simply idly listening while keeping quiet. She cast a glance to the dark sky, the stars twinkling beautifully above. Honestly, she could care less about the troll, but if Nara could get useful information out of him she'd let her. Easier than fighting with him at least, which would be the only option she could've done successfully. So while the Troll made its reply, she lifted herself off the ground, lounging in the air as if sitting on some invisible chair.

The troll went on to list the dangers to humans. Wolves. 'Grendel' - what was this, Beowulf? And of course, trolls, but at least it gave them a direction to travel in. Beyond the river it seemed was their destination. Ah, they could've already been there had this troll not took so long to say a single sentence.

"Your voice is annoying..." Iva complained. "Your brain is slower than-"

Iva's complaining was cut short, a wail echoing trough the air, ringing and echoing off the sides of the mountain and shaking the very earth itself as the brilliant aurora retreated in fear. It was followed by a impossible event. Reality itself seemed to rend and tear, a ripple of impossibility spreading across the mountains. Iva's concentration was thrown off, her levitation ending and sending her onto the ground, landing on her butt as her attention immediately moved from Nara and the Troll, head and body turning towards the mountain she had previously descended. Whatever this was...she was certain of one thing. She and it, were of a similar nature.

The temperature began to plummet as a massive mountain moved in the distance. Uncountable black objects flew into the sky, disappearing between the stars and the terrible, foul cry trailed off into a pitiful lonely whine. The foul wind hit Iva, a blast of clearly psychic energy burrowing into her mind. The whine echoed, lingering and ringing against every neuron, every nerve and every cell in her mind. Red blurred the edges of her vision, pain ebbing and pulsing at the edges of her eye sockets.

A single, primal urge welled within her mind.

Consume.

She understood. Understood all to well. The hunger, the urge. The call, but just as quickly as the feeling came, it was gone.

Iva blinked, the pain quickly subsiding. If she had been of a lesser mind or her mental faculties had not been as strong, she might not have been able to resist. Even in her current state, she could feel it. A little urging at the back of her mind. A feeling in the pit of her stomach. An unnatural hunger. How tiring. She had just gotten involved in something extremely bad, hadn't she? Standing up, she turned to Nara and walked over.

"...are you alright?" Iva sighed, giving her friend a light nudge. She was able to ward off most of that psychic attack, but that was likely only because she was good at resisting mental interference. "Whatever that was, scared the forest."
