Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Honestly.

If Seleth had been physically capable, she'd have smacked Varjan's father across the head, but before she could even consider it something unexpected happened. What did he even do? Reality simply shifted, and in the span of a blink they were gone. What even...?

"...seriously?" Honestly, Seleth had had it. She inhaled sharply as she was addressed by Lumina, impertinently waving off the hand and support of the others. "What even is this?! He drugs himself, gets all melancholic, asks for me to kill him and then does this?! Next time I see him I'll beat him so bad he'll beg me too!" walking away from the others, Seleth took a seat on the bed Varjan had previously been occupying, folding her arms across her chest in an irritable manner. "And his parents! How can they even call themselves that? Bah, I want him to try doing anything to me so I can have the satisfaction of watching him fail miserably."

Letting out a few verbal frustrations, Seleth crossed her legs, still obviously irritated with the whole situation but at least, somewhat calmer.

"...I don't know. I didn't know Varjan that well." Seleth finally replied with a sigh. "But I never thought he'd use drugs or attempt something like that. The only reason I even knew was because someone informed me before the match started and cautioned me to play defensively. I didn't want to believe it, but it was easy to see at the start he was using something." Done with her brief explanation, Seleth then turned towards Lumina, narrowing her eyes at her slightly. "...mhm, you speak as though you know something. I suggest you say whatever it is you know." The threatening tone was made less so by the small wince of pain and 'eep' noise she inadvertently made.

Color of mana? What was he on about? Chieko didn't have a clue, but it seemed important. It seemed like Aerith's was...bad or something? The Japanese girl frowned. Seemed like Alistair also had some training in his route. She'd have inquired further, but before she could take few more steps, the familiar face of Captain Crunch and Eiko showed up. Well...familiar to her. They probably didn't recognize her at all.

"E-eiko!?" Chieko's face was momentarily a shade of red as the small girl seemed to hug her.

"-huh?!" A loud crash bought Chieko out of her own thoughts. Cultists? Last stand? Chieko inhaled sharply. She was supposed to be finding that thing for Elder Sibling, but given the circumstances...well, they could go to hell. These cultist were obviously the bad guys, and she a hero. She couldn't let them run amok. If Fritzi had a problem with it...well, she'd deal with that when the time came. Still, she was worried about Quill and Chiyo. Well, they could probably handle themselves, but she had grown to like both of them. Especially Quill's tsundere-ness.

"A final stand, huh?!" Chieko was merely putting on her usual confident face when faced with a situation she found scary or intimidating. "Fighting cultists and saving the lives of civilians! What more could a hero ask for!" Turning to Crunch, she smirked. "I can handle myself, Captain." She replied sternly, reaching under her cloak and pulling out the long, thick reinforced club she had taken to wielding as a weapon. It certainly wasn't pretty looking, but from the way she held it it was obvious she knew how to use it.

"Aerith! Alistair! Change of plans! We help save people."

"Ahahaha....Quite demanding, aren't you. You should relax more. Maybe that skin of yours wouldn't be so putrid." Still, what he was saying was correct. She had failed. The owl was supposed to try and smooth things over, but it seems like things hadn't gone so well. Wait - where had he gotten that coin from? For the briefest of instants, Mie was terrified...but the moment had passed just as quickly as it came. She listened to his proposition, not a single emotion betrayed on her features.

"What can I say? I could care less about your evaluation of me. I could kill you before you could even blink." No, she knew she couldn't. Whoever this man was, sent off so many red flags off that if she wasn't forced to be around him, she'd have already made a swift exit. "...but this proposition of yours is quite acceptable." One of her ears flicked, picking up the sound of fighting outside. She heard it so many times. Made her lips curl into a frown. She hated that noise. "She won't live past the end of the day." Mie picked up the clothes, beginning to change into the cultists outfit, not particularly caring if he left or not. She didn't care about such things too much.

Throwing Knives. Poison. Tanto. A length of rope. Her backup blade, disguised as a simple hair ornament...and her mask.

Swiftly, Mie exited her cart and made her way to the Vertti's residence, ignoring the fighting as best she could, taking all the short cuts and roof hopping that she could. She'd enter from the second floor. Shouldn't be any problems...though the chances of Vertti hiring a guard of some sort since their last scuffle was high. She'd need to deal with that before Vertti showed back up.

"Woho, wonderful. I shall do my best to not stray." Good, perhaps with this she could get a hang of her floaty bits. It was a little tough at first, but as soon as the pelican placed her body in front of them, It was far easier. Over the course of the flight, Vi made sure to keep herself in the path of Wendy. Of course, she couldn't help but to practice somewhat on her way there, taking a few dips outside in order to test the limits of her own flight ability, but never straying too far as to get blown away by the strong wind. All in all, it was a rather peaceful and relaxing experience.

Once they arrived at the farm, Vi kept herself behind Wendy still, trying to keep a low profile in case she had to skedaddle or otherwise get up to some skullduggery. As Wendy attempted to calm down the scruffy looking pokemon, Vi took a quick note of the homestead itself. A few other pokemon could be seen inside. A rabbit, some sort of bear, and some sort of...human thing? Weird.

"Woho, don't worry about it Gramps." Vi replied, making sure that her presence was seen by him now that it was revealed they weren't hostile. "I can get food...elsewhere." She flashed a grin in the direction of the shy looking rabbit.

...how dull.

His language as about as interesting as he was, it seemed. Soraya immediately lost all interest she may have had for him. The starlet didn't lose that amused seeming smile of hers, eyes slowly shifting back towards the other groups of people, taking note of a particularly idle and standoffish looking girl not too far from them as a blond haired gentleman took a seat next to her. He seemed entirely ignorant of the supposed Rift. Well, that was fine. He didn't look like the sort to be dungeon diving, but she supposed neither did she.

"Hmm, some people actually have a bit of class. Not everyone is some dungeon diver." Soraya replied coolly, making it difficult to tell if she was intentionally being antagonistic. "I am mostly here for the resort. Ah, I've never been skiing before, but It can't possibly be too difficult." Implying that Marxion had no class, and that Jules couldn't handle himself in a rift. Standing up, Soraya focused her attention on the roughly dressed girl trying to appear as idle as possible. Hmm, well she looked like she had nothing better to do, so obviously she should spend that time helping her.

Walking up to Reese, Soraya gave her a friendly, if cool smile.

"Excuse moi," Soraya began as politely as possible for her. "If you have nothing better to do, then you should help me, oui?"

The frog was winning. She couldn't get a good grip, but immediately upon delivering it a potent dose of venom, the reaction it had was a violent one. The frog shook violently, its body spasming as it vomited her up, finally free from its attack. Shaking her head and scrunching her nostrils at the smell of the acid fumes, Ash watched with mild macabre interest as the frog began to expire. The frog seemed to follow rules of animals on earth as well - it had expelled its stomach in an attempt to get rid of the venom, but it was far too late. It screamed, its horrific croaking noises filling the forest air until it finally completely ceased, its body deflating like a balloon.

The usual level up notification met her gaze as she watched motionlessly.

Twelve points to spend? She had to wonder where all of these extra points were coming from, though she didn't ponder it too long, merely eager to accept them - and she immediately saw two new skills she'd definitely want to get her hands on swiftly. Those must have been the skills she was working towards earlier.

Two points into Mana Vision. Four points into Mana Sense. Three into Lesser Heal. That would help with what she was intending to do with the frog, if she could get another specimen later. That would leave her with three points leftover to save for future skills. Now then...this frog needed to be dealt with.

Walking up to the deceased specimen, Ash began the grizzly work of picking it apart. She started with the contents of its stomach. Using Monster, Material, and Alchemy on everything she could to ensure she knew how things worked. The Pixie Wings, the Rat Fur, the insect leg. Whatever she could find inside of it...then came the actual work. Taking her claws, Ash began pulling apart the creature, dissecting its insides now that she could no longer use it living. First was the skinning. Separating the skin from bone and muscles. Frog skin was rubbery and stretchy, it would make for some very good armor or clothing, perhaps. Maybe a sack of some sort. Having some armor would be fairly useful. Especially since this was resistant to water and fire and could help one keep warm in case of colder temperatures.

The entire process of dissecting it would likely take some time. From cutting off its stomach, separating the non-digested items, cutting out its tongue, eyes, heart, liver, intestines, and other things. All to simply see if they may be useful in some capacity. If she found some parts that weren't useful, she'd eat them. That was her entire purpose for this, after all. Once full, she'd set aside any leftovers for the other members of the group. No doubt they'd need some food later once they all returned and discussed their next plan of action.

Ah, Norway! The land of vikings! The land of cold! The land of raids, Jarls, dragons, Valkyries and swedish metal. All were wonderful things that anyone with any amount of culture would enjoy, yes. She was glad to finally visit a land with such rich history in her travels. After the private jet she took to get here, it was a much welcome change of pace! The cold fjords, the local cuisine, ah, it was all so wonderful. And what better way to spend her time than at a top of the line ski resort? Indeed, this was all such a wonderful and good idea, even if this whole thing turned out to be a sham the adventure alone would be worth it.

She probably looked quite out of place among the general attendees of the Resort. Well dressed, a generally well kept appearance and a somewhat cold, haughty demeanor. She walked with a purpose, a pace knowing exactly where she seemed to be going. Indeed, she likely reeked of nobility and upper society. At least, that's what she perceived to be true. After all, how could she look any different? The multiple bags of luggage under her arms were certainly telling. Pushing through the crowd effortlessly, Soraya walked up to the receptionist.

"Oui?" Tossing up a bag of luggage onto the counter, Soraya gave her a small, cool smile. "I would like a stay in your most luxurious room." Her voice was quiet, muted, and even, betraying no emotion other than mild seeming amusement as she spoke.

"U-uh, beg pardon?" The receptionist blinked mildly in confusion at the sudden request.

"Ah, and if possible order full room service for dinner tonight, hm? And don't forget to carry the luggage there."

"W-well, uhm, yes but if I could get-"

"Excellent. I trust you can arrange everything?" She pulled out her wallet sliding a few bills onto the counter that was more than enough for everything that she asked. "Ah, here's a number you can call to contact me if there is any problems. The name is Soraya Labelle." Before the receptionist could reply once again, Soraya turned to leave, leaving a very flustered and mildly confused receptionist behind. The young starlet didn't respond to any attempts from her to say anything.

Walking over to the couches in the reception area, once again, ignoring the other people present she took a seat next to a rather gruff, serious looking man. Folding legs to sit a fairly lady-like position, she placed her hands on her lap and closed her eyes, inhaling.

"Norway is quite lovely." She spoke, seemingly to no one in particular. Or was she talking to Marxion? She hadn't turn to face or otherwise look at him. "This whole business is quite intriguing as well." She turned her face towards him finally, smiling coolly on an otherwise neutral expression seemingly expecting a response as she opened her eyes just enough to peer at him.
