CS below. I'd like to ask if there is a cute pet for Justice Heart (AKA Kyubey), and if so, I'd like Eileen to be the one who still takes care of it.

Also, I'm open to relationships.

OK, so just trying to organize powers and stuff in order to see if a cohesive theme can be squeezed out of this.

@RabidAnubis - Plants
@AtomicNut - Healing (Water)
@Hero - Fire
@shagranoz - Lightning
@Pyromania99 - Music (Air)
@Rune_Alchemist - Earth
@Stern Algorithm - Robots (Metal)

Okay, so it looks like we can go for an elemental theme here, more or less, as long as AtomicNut is okay with healing being an aspect of water, and as long as Pyromania99 is okay with music being an aspect of air. Although this doesn't really help me come up with a name since most magical girl teams of four or more tend to veer into elemental specialization.

Eileen's embarrassing costume, incoming:

Name: Eileen Fang

Age: 33

Eileen was a friendless wallflower, obsessed with machines and robots and never got along with girls, or boys for that matter. Not until one day when she fell into the crossfire between a monster and the team of magical girls who saved her. The monster had been feeding on her low self-esteem, loneliness, and depression. Even though they were younger than her, they lifted her spirits and told her it was okay to be herself. With this new found resolve, several episodes later, she would join them as a magical girl as well, having come into herself, allowing her love of machines and robots to manifest in magical, mechanical armor, making her the tankiest member of the team. Having helped save the world with power of magic, friendship, and science, she knew that they would be best friends forever.

But over the years, her special interests and obsessions became grating to her former allies, there was only so many times you can compare Wingdom season one with Wingdom season 2 before people got tired of you. She dreamed to one day invent the first rideable humanoid robot in America, but through the intervention of fate, despite her fairly stellar grades in the sciences, she never got accepted into any decent engineering schools. In the end, she settled for the local community college, taking an Associates Degree in electrical engineering. But there were no big companies hiring electrical engineers in the region, and she was never able to find a job outside of town. To this day, she lives with her parents, a 'fujoshi', obsessing over plastic models and soldering breadboards in her dad's garage, as an over-glorified repairwoman who does odd, dirty jobs around town. She still dreams of the glory days and despite the falling out that they'd had, if any of them approached her, she would grovelingly ingratiate herself to them, just to be friends again and relive the magic. Her parents badger her about settling down, but her life is such a wreck right now, and she has and always will be such a nerd/geek/dork along with the various unresolved anxieties and depressive tendencies, that the very thought of intimacy sends her into a cold sweat.

So my character's kind of a cross between Madoka Magica's first-timeline Homura and Watamote's Tomoko. I didn't expect there to be zero range in character ages so far (and all of them being the absolute lower limit), so I made mine a few years older. I also hope that the team's not being flooded by characters who do not have their own families and kids, since that's supposed to be part of the theme, though I am also guilty of this.
Throwing my interest into the ring. Already have a half-formulated idea for a character.
After seeing so many lovely heroes-to-be, Dr. Fang's all...

That's a creepy-looking cloud.

But it's got a cute moe eye!

I really hope your version doesn't feature the eyeball..

It doesn't, just a namesake from one of my all-time favorite games.

Show of hands! Whos students are ready to advance.

I'm curious to know if anyone knows what ShiZhen's cloud is named after?

Catherine Hargreaves

@Hammerman

Catherine could sense the nervousness in Kanako, and decided to fill the girl with some confidence, commending her for the difficult feat she had demonstrated, "Some would say that air is one of the softest elements. While one could argue that fire, light or...shadow...are softer, their conceptual presence is often greater because their heat, brightness, or darkness demand attention, and it is the ability to grasp the presence of an element's concept that gives us the ability to master it. Air is so often taken for granted, so many people aren't even conscious of their own breathing most of the time. And it easily makes way as we pass through it. An element this soft is difficult to control, yet you've chosen to master one of its most volatile forms, vortexes. I'm not just saying this, But I am impressed. Most students settle for a large gust of wind as their demonstration." Reaching down, Catherine helped Kanako to her feet and gave her gentle pat on the shoulder. "Now take a break, and prepare yourself for the next part."

ShiZhen Fang

@Zelosse

At first, ShiZhen was relieved to see all the lightning being redirected by the Headmaster, but when she realized that he was absorbing all of it, with visible effects. "Omigosh! Sir, are you okay?" ShiZhen flustered, the thought of electrocuting the school's headmaster was too much to bear. But when he addressed her, he seemed unharmed. Blushing and fidgeting with her pigtails, ShiZhen felt a little ashamed and embarrassed, yet proud. The fact was, she had lost control to a certain degree, and the addition of lightning didn't help. But being complimented or praised by a parent or other authority figure was something that always made her smile. "I...I have you to thank for my progress!" ShiZhen called back, remembering her first day and the instructions he had given her in the underground hot springs. Still, Headmaster Hargor was a busy man, and he soon left. Her heart pounding, ShiZhen climbed out of her pit, her wet socks sloshing around in her shoes. She cosndiered wandering over to a fire student's demonstration to dry her footwear, but decided that it would be disrespectful. Besides, it might be dangerous too, if, like her, the fire student lost control for a moment. Maybe she would just pay the restroom a visit to wring out her socks, and prepare for the next event.
@SpicyMeatball

I don't think @Dynamo Frokane is comparing it to the current roster, I think he's comparing it to the plethora of pitches that he's rejected, both publicly and privately.

@Feisty-Pants Remember, they both were the proteges of former teachers, but Marshall & Jeanne are still the newbies trying to earn tenure, all the rest have nearly 10 years on them ^_^;

Catherine's a new teacher too

Jeanne: Essentially College Student with air of self-entitlement and pointy shiny swords.

Jordan: Middle-aged, ex-Black Ops operative, prime physical shape, a Shed, a cooler sounding "J" name, AND THE POWERS OF THE VERY GROUND YOU TREAD UPON FOOLISH GIRL, CAN YOU FEEL THE MOLTEN VEINS OF OUR GLORIOUS PLANET, SENSE THE CHASMS AND CAVERNS THAT PERFORATE HER CRUST, AND CALL UPON THE MINERAL WEALTH OF THAT BOUNTEOUS AND ALL-GIVING FORCE THAT IS THE VERY EARTH?

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?
Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?
Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
