Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Kobayashi Seria

Seria relaxed a little when the conversation turned away from her. She nodded her head towards Lancelot, and moved out of the way. Really, if he'd been the first Knight of the Round Table she had met, it would have been hard to deny she would be a little starstruck. To be honest, it was kind of insane regardless. But when her own Servant was Mordred, perhaps that had made her a little more ready for such a meeting. In a world where someone could meet and interact with these figures out of myth and legend, perhaps they were simply more prepared to deal with doing so.

"Anything to do later?" Seria asked, "I have some homework I'll need to get started on, but it's not due for a while."

She paused for a moment.

"... You want to meet your father, don't you?"

It was obvious, just by the conversation they'd been having.

@KoL@Raineh Daze
@RolePlayerRoxas: I don't think that is a thing Arturia can do. D:
@Tachi: Okay with me! I'll let our main GM have a say too, though, obviously.
Hmmm.

I really want to intro Arturia but she has no Master yet hmmm.
Of course her parents had been okay with her going out for a little longer, though her mother had cautioned her not to stay out for too long. Hikari had assured her that she wouldn't, before following Tokiko to whatever destination the other magical girl had in mind. This all made sense... If she was going to participate in the Hex Night, that meant she needed to know everything about how a magical girl could fight, every single little thing a magical girl could do, right? She'd already seen enough to know they were all different, though, of course. But the point was that she needed to know what similarities they did share, and how to use them. And Tokiko could help her with that.

This place was kind of creepy, to be honest... but it also made some kind of sense. A warehouse seemed like it would be a good place to train, right? Out of sight, mostly open on the inside! That was the sort of place a magical girl could really test out her abilities? As long as they weren't so destructive they would take out the whole building.

Hikari transformed for the third time that night. At this point, the brunette was still sort of in awe of the feeling of magical power, the fact that she really was a magical girl. Her hair red, and eyes orange once more as she gripped her hammer.

"Eh? Of course I was paying attention, I'm no-"

Before she could complete that sentence, that fist came hurtling right towards her!

Thankfully, Hikari really had internalized the idea of using a barrier. Magical energy seemed to flow through her body, through her arms, and a circular barrier of crisscrossing symbols, encircled with kanji, materialized ahead of her! There was a distinct bell-ringing sound as the fist slammed into the shield!

@Anza

"... Oh?"

Kagami, who had been listening to Himeko with an amused expression on her face, cocked her head slightly as she turned to face the approaching magical girl. Her mirrors turned in place, aiming towards the other girl, instead. They glinted in the steadily-setting sunlight. The fact was that simply being near her gave a feeling of pressure, as if she was somehow exuding some amount of power simply by existing.

"Another newcomer? Very well," she said with a grin, "I shall extend to you the same offer. Lay down your hex orb, or be crushed. Not even the both of you together can hope to overcome me. At best, you can expect to be crushed to the ground beneath my foot, trash."

But there wasn't any time to try and respond to the purple-haired girl's arrogant proposal. There was suddenly a that twisted feeling, the sensation of something evil coming to be... nearly on top of them! There was no question, it had to be another group of shades!

"Oh?" Kagami tilted her head the opposite way. Indeed, in the forest, strange four-legged, almost dog-like creatures were flitting between the trees, large orange eyes running across their flanks. Their heads appeared to be rounded and without mouths.

"... On second though... entertain your empress," said Kagami calmly, "And perhaps I shall allow you some time to contemplate my proposal."

"Uwah!?" exclaimed Hina, eyes widening as she stared at the now-proven-to-be-older girl. Immediately she hurried towards her, looking her over closely, "You're really that old!? I thought you were our age!"

Chise simply sighed behind her, evidently picking up much more quickly on the fact that Hanako wasn't pleased by that fact. Instead, after a few moments, she approached. She had a considerably more serious expression on her face then Hina did.

"So, how do you know the miko-san that runs the shrine?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.

"Oh yeah!" declared Hina, "We really want to talk to her a lot, so we want to know more!"

@Raineh Daze
Indeed, the tavern was full of people, a few of them soldiers who had been allowed to leave their posts to be replaced with a fresher guard. They were mostly in awe of the knights, while some of the other patrons seemed quite confused with the conversation. The bartender, a tall, rather broad man with a friendly, warm expression on his face, nodded as he took Klaus's order, and first delivered some of their finest ale. The meat, naturally, took somewhat longer to be prepared properly. There was a distinct scent of various foods cooking, and just how appetizing it smelled... well, it was clear the tavern wasn't popular only for its alcohol.

Soon enough, a piece of fine steak was delivered. There were no real frills about it, but it was cooked perfectly, and seasoned well with salt and pepper.

"Ah, there's also this. A little lady wanted me to deliver it to you."

He produced a note from his pocket and placed it on the counter.

Don't forget about Ennifer!

It wasn't signed, but there was a small smiley face after the words. However, something seemed to almost write itself on the opposite side...

@Foolish Errant@Crimson Paladin@Noodles
Going to update this week, sorry for the delay.
@Cu Chulainn: Hmm... I mean, it'd make sense, but Perseus already has a ton of NPs in canon.
Mihama Nanako

It was a little strange now, seeing Meltryllis with legs in proportion to her body made Nanako realize just how small her Servant was. Nanako had never thought of herself as particularly tall. Indeed, she was about average for her age and ethnicity. But being alongside Meltryllis now made her feel like she was considerably above that. But the fact was simply that Meltryllis was, well... she'd never tell her Servant it was cute. That would upset her even more, and that was the last thing she wanted to do. To be honest, Nanako actually felt a little guilty over thinking as such, given how important the Alter Ego's original prosthetics seemed to be to her. Thankfully, it didn't seem like she was having any trouble adjusting to the different set.

The best thing, really, was simply not to focus on the topic. Nor, indeed, to focus on how lewd Meltryllis's outfit was any more then necessary. At least everything was covered...

No, the topic at hand was where to go next, and Meltryllis wanted to go straight for the town center? Well, she would have been fine with that. But...

"Fusang's center?" she asked, "That would be the Tower of Babylonia."

She pointed. Indeed, dead in the center of Fusang, there was an immense black building, towering above nearly any other structure. There was only one other building that dwarfed even it. It was stunning how quickly the space elevator, built near the Tower, was progressing.

But for now, Nanako was pointing to the windowless black building.

"But you can't go in there without authorization," she explained, "It's surrounded by bounded fields and high-tech security, we can't just go in there and use the internet... oh!"

Reaching into her bag, Nanako quickly pulled out her phone. The background was a purple-haired girl, Mei-chan from Brave Shine Mei-chan. She was cute, and the show itself was fun. With a smile, Nanako offered her phone to Meltryllis.

"You can use my phone to get online!"

@PKMNB0Y
@1Charak2: I mean... it looked like you were saying she had normal legs underneath the armor. ^^; Even if it was a misunderstanding, it's hard to expect people not to try and correct that. I don't think any malicious intent was meant or anything.

But in any case the main point is Melt has non-murder prosthetic legs at the moment.
