I'm beginning to think that the 1st Class SOLDIERs are a bunch of children, who couldn't team work their way out of a paper bag.

Funny how 1st Class has so far proven to be the worst members thus far. Lol

To be fair, they're individual specialists. Didn't often deploy in teams, if at all. Look at Sephiroth's attitude towards working with others.

Ignoring Alain's rant, as it didn't matter who was truly at fault with Scarlet, they were all going to get reamed for the damage to the barrel, the older SOLDIER set to investigating the area from his viewpoint. AVALANCHE and the Metal Cricket had more than adequate time to not only damage the Sister Ray, but also to destroy it to the point of heavy repair if they'd tried. He just couldn't figure out why they hadn't and was still puzzling it out in his head when his phone rang. He answered it without any tribulation since being nervous about it only fed the weapon designer's ego. "Hello?" He could hear Scarlet in the background, raging at the damage to her "baby," which even he found to be a disturbing thing to call the giant gun, as the man spoke. "Tell Scarlet it's not mission complete yet. Something's not right here." Another pause as the man on the other side speaks.

"I know she's mad, but a barrel is more readily replaced than an entire cannon. I'm not convinced that AVALANCHE hasn't set some kind of trap, so I'm going to do my job and investigate. Scarlet cam ream me for it later." He snapped the phone shut, ending the call, and leaped down to the bars near the stairs, sliding down them. He would start his search from the bottom and work his way up, even if the others didn't want to help.

Who all is involved in the collab?

Also, I notice there's a posting freeze. I'm trying to figure out who is waiting on who?

I'm not involved, just need some free time. I knock out posts for RPs as I get it and I should have some today. I also SHOULDN'T be waiting on anyone.
Probably gonna regret this, but color me interested.

Day/Time: Day Two
Location: Butter Building, Kirby's Dream Land

Alicia made no rebuke to either the team leader Frisk or to her team mate, Cloud. She would do what she had to to ensure they all made it back to the Tetris Castle in one piece. In fact, it was times like this that, as they continued on their way to the next room, that she wished she had spent more time with the Defenders and strengthened her Void Light into that of a Ward of Dawn. But at the end of the day, as the next room came into view, it didn't matter. Striker's could still do one hell of a job protecting their fireteam.

Walking into it, Alicia had Iron begin scanning for any structural weak points that they could avoid hitting this time around so that they didn't accidentally bring the roof down on their heads again. While she waited, she listened to the banter between the two shadows and could only cringe behind her helmet at some of the bad puns being made. However, as the lights came on and the two Senior Poppy Bros came into view, the puns at least made sense.

As Frisk whispered his idea, and warned of bombs that would need to be dodged or knocked away, Alicia switched over to her Doctrine of Passing once more, the auto rifle feeling more accurate for the situation than a shotgun or a sword, not to mention, as she reloaded the clip and checked the sights, that it needed a brief check up following the encounter with Marx anyways. And then she continued cringing behind her helmet as their child leader joined in on the puns, his somehow being worse than the Poppy Bros. As he attempted to talk them down, Alicia went over the best way to approach combat without a confrontation taking place, which would prove difficult given that most of her weapons, scratch that, all of them, were lethal. Well, I suppose I can just deliver a punch to their faces if need be. They look about as tough as a Knight.
@YipeeXD

This is seven days late, but I don’t think iron would protect one’s hand from heat. On the contrary, it would in turn, heat up very quickly because metal is a great conductor of heat

Unless there are some magic shenanigans I’m unaware of. In that case please consider the above as the rambling of a madman.

@Zarkun

I would also like to point out about your last post, that Penny is currently standing on the rooftop.

Unless she moved and I missed it, in which case same procedure as above.

Caits told me in the discord room Penny was on a roof. So I went with it. In any case, question not the hilarity of a metal man hitting the ground.
Damian Gerard|Repairing the Rifts

Damian had watched the brief conversation between Ariel and Penny and could only frown as he watched the numerous magic using gal kept what seemed in his mind unreasonable anger towards Penny for things that were beyond the Phoenix Slayer's control as she spoke curtly with her before walking away. Nolan's anger was unwarranted as well in his mind as he went to find his fellow S-Class mage. He knew that she had spent her whole life trying to avoid having to do what she'd done while he was helping Frenzy Plant, avoiding that she was a Phoenix Slayer because it wasn't something that she had wanted. But all the same, she'd ultimately accepted it, but it was just as new to her as it was Ariel, though Ariel's mess was just as unique and not one he was sure he wanted to be apart of. As he was about to leave the hall, he felt a light jab and grinned, his anger forgotten for the time being as he turned to face Zero and Zenoram.

Turning to face the Dragon Slayer, he pointed to the gathering group for the trip. "They're going to Tenrou Island, to find out what's going on with all the natural disasters we've had. I'm told they need all the Dragon Slayers they can get to go. Means they'll need you. Sasha has the specifics if you want to ask her about them. I gotta go catch Penny." Turning, he hurried out the still open doors and pulled them shut behind him before ascending the side of the hall to the roof where he saw Shujin crossing Penny's personal space bubble. Noting she was annoyed and angry that he invaded her space.

Making a split second decision, he approached Shujin from behind and as he reached the edge of the roof, gave him a swift punt off the roof, letting him go up and over the lip of the building. "Personal space is a thing, jack ass!" He was sure that Shujin would be fine since a two story drop was more than survivable for a mage, especially since he was a metal make mage, and there was a dumpster full of old mattresses below them. Turning back to Penny, he approached and stood at the edge of her flames. "I don't know what was said, but I know what you're feeling. And I want you to know that it's not true, because I care about you and I know the rest of the guild cares about you. Ariel doesn't know the whole story, doesn't understand why you feel the way you do. Give her a little time then talk to her, alright? Now come on, show me your beautiful face."

Please explain further. What alternative do you suggest?

@Zarkun@LuckyBlackCat

Thinking more on it. It would be a bit crazy for Epic-missions to be so cheap in terms of CP cost. I've settled on increasing mission rewards instead, as originally suggested.

So I'll explain anyways XD So, speaking short term, cheaper missions DO mean more at once with more to do for any amount of time. Seems great, because while you figure out the content you want to add, IE gyms and contests, we're distracted and have a purpose. Long term, well, some of us, mainly me XD, post once or twice a month for things, not to mention it can be a long wait. Eventually, people are going to forget one mission and do another, or there are going to be too many and we start seeing overload and a number of other things. Essentially, upping rewards over reducing cost is a better move because it gives incentive to do them.
<Snipped quote by LuckyBlackCat>

I left TP rewards the same, but just did a significant drop in the CP cost of making a mission. That should effectively accomplish what you're after. Not making each mission reward crazier, but instead, making missions more abundant.

Logistically speaking, that's a short term fix, long term mess. Trust me.
I live. Will post ASAP.
