Location / Bois de Boulogne
@GreenGoat

Everything was organized. The new trees had been grown, the shrine had been set up... And here she was drinking like five gallons of soda. Chieko wasn't exactly the world's greatest mage, and here she had gotten herself into a war. At the very least it let her do whatever she wanted now. Free of her big sister's rules, she could enjoy the paradise city of Paris. And that meant...

"Are you done? I'm not sure what grape Soda has to do with fortune telling..." The man sitting in front Chieko was a major bore. She had managed to find a location near the carnival grounds, and after making sure to hypnotize anybody who tried to stop her from setting up her shinto shrine, or grow her trees, she had set up a small service to read fortunes. She was here for money after all. Instead of responding, Chieko just raised a single finger in the universal sign of 'one more second.'

"The grape is important." Chieko explained. "It is important because it is dark, and by drinking the darkness I allow light to reign supreme in our world. It allows me to percieve your future with greater clarity." It was all bullshit, but he didn't need to know that. With that said though, she took his hand, and placed it on an ink pad, and then onto a piece of paper. "You imprint your life onto paper, and then... Say your name!" This part was not bullshit. The handprint though was for a souvenir.
"Um... Tim Burkley?" The man said, confused as to why. But that was enough. The maiden nodded, pondered... And with clarity had her reply.
"Tim Burkley! Your future is clear! Go out into the world, raise your head high, and chart a new course in your life! Use your hands to create art! For that art shall grant you fame, love, and be related to computers! Anything else with your life will lead to a great loss...png."
"That doesn't make any sense."
"It will later, trust me." With that, Burkley left, to terrorize the future with his shitty show on adult swim or something. Either way, the day was saved by somebody else.

With her last customer of the day, Chieko turned her attention to the shinto shrine. Shuttered it, patted some of the trees to wake the spirits, and got to getting comfy.

"Assassin, tell me what you see from the top of the tower. I plan to visit it later, and I want to make sure it has the proper atmosphere for a ritual. I'm sure Amaterasu will hear me for sure if I call for her aid from something so attention grabbing."

She hadn't said it out loud, but... Hanzo was the coolest servant ever.

On the day she left japan, her youngest sister had grabbed her by the arm. 'Are you really going to the war?' She said yes, because she had to for the temple. Or perhaps, it was because she knew none of her sisters would be there too. She'd be alone. She'd get a chance to do everything on her own...
'If you must go... Take this.' It was a knife. A kunai if one was to be accurate. From her youngest sister. 'This was left here many years ago. It has little value, but a ninja once wielded it. I don't know which one, but if you are going, you will need a catalyst for the ritual. Use it. Call for that ninja to aid you. If they are kind, than you shall come home.'

Thank you.

With Hanzo... She was going to come home for sure.

The Core
Operation Chase

En-Route to the Effiel Tower, scouting out the enemy

@Therion

Paris, city of love, city of lights and to the heiress of the Schluss linage. It was a battlefield. A battlefield with too many civilians indeed. Too many children for her taste but such was the battlefield that the mages above her station had chosen. Indeed if it was her war she'd have removed the need to worry for civilians entirely.

But it wasn't her war. She was merely another piece on the chessboard, Though knowing her she was just a pawn to be sacrificed in another players gambit. Such was the position she best fitted. Although she needed to know more about her opposition first to truly judge her position on the board. She has already sent out a vanguard of small rodents and birds to act as her eyes and ears across multiple districts. Though, her most powerful familiar had been instructed to keep close to her but remain out of direct sight, though within a distance that reaching their masters side shouldn't take long enough that Agria was defenseless.

The first rule of war is to seek out allies. Granted, if she could do so with an immense haste then her chances of winning will drastically increase as she can pool her supplies with her ally. If she can secure 2-3 allied magus, then that too will drastically improve her odds. Though she was never one to hope for such optimistic outcomes.

Thinking about what had even got her into this mess in the first place. Agria didn't so much as flinch to the thought of what had lead her to this circumstance that may result in her untimely death. A death that needed meaning before it could be given. Fear not the reaper, instead fear that you will not be remembered.. Yes that was what she was taught.

"Ushi, keep your eyes open, we don't want to get ambushed on the first night." The order was quick, audible. Simple. No words wasted. The way it was to be said. She didn't want to get too buddy buddy with her servant on the first night. Let bonding occur the next morning if they even survive...

For now though, she was looking for an encounter. It payed to be aggressive in finding the enemy early on. So you can adjust your stratagems for later encounters. Survival however was always a top concern. As much as she wanted to die. Agria couldn't die just yet...

Thus. She was going to live.

Latin District, Hotel Workshop

The form that emerged from the circle was not quite exactly what it appeared to be- namely, it was not the form of a man. The royal musketeers uniform hid what little chest she had and her hips were, as described by her mother, unfortunately narrow. Her face was one that was pretty in a way that was timeless but not distinctly male or female, but the fiery glint of determination in her eye spoke to the sensibilities that were far more often the former than the latter.

Of course given these facts no one could possibly be blamed for thinking the figure of Saber was male, least of all Saber herself- who would not correct anyone who made that mistake. If anything, this was always the intention of the fourth musketeer, as no sooner than the flash had faded than she had moved to cement this misconception.

She cut a deep bow and doffed her hat before speaking, in a voice no more conclusive than her body, "So, which one of you lovely ladies is my master?"... It was like she didn't even notice Theta.

She stepped forward before waiting for a reply, reaching out for the girls, "Is it you? Or you? You maybe? You?" Rapid fire, one after another, pressing her lips to the back of their hands, offered or not, with face becoming less noble and more transparently lecherous by the syllable. "Oh God you've been too good to me, I can't even choose, you're all so lovely!" ... D'Art, it isn't your choice to begin with.

As the excitement mounted she collapsed to her knees, head tilted back towards the sky as an even greater possibility dawned on her and she extolled her joys. "Don't tell me it's all of you!? Did I die and go to heaven!?" Her expression sobered suddenly, and her finger went to her chin. " ...Well I did die, but..."

She snapped back to mania not a second later, upon noticing Venus' predicament. " Oh dear, you're bleeding! My darling please, don't use your own kerchief, take mine instead- Oh but it would be rude to give one of you a gift and not the rest or you'll think I'm playing favorites... Oh this is a fine predicament you've gotten yourself into d'Artagnan!"

Just like that, without a second's hesitation, she blurted her true name out. Things were off to a wonderful start.

Hector of Troy

Studio Appartement, Core District

Hmmm? What was that now? Its calling upon me of all people? Ah that's just my luck eh. He had thought perhaps war and conflict would have left him alone after all that he had done in life. Well he didn't really think that, that was more of this old man's hopeful wishes. Ah jeez. Well if someone was calling on him it couldn't be helped then. As long as he wasn't there everything should be fine anyway.
And so his body once more began to take form, back to the world of humans where he had fought so valiantly for his people, for his father, for his brother. Once more to battle, this time for his master. Hang on... Maybe I should fight for myself once in a while... That notion came to mind as he found himself looking at a strange room of fog. Well, a room of fog until it was all blasted away, probably from the completion of the summoning. Now the full body of the Servant Hector stood clearly in the middle of the summoning circle, well next to the block of wood at least. He noticed the man outside of the circle and gave him a slight nod of the head as he knelt down, picking it up before knocking on it with its other hand. "Knock on wood, eh?" he said to the as of now unknown man with a slightly stupid grin on his face. Well the man wasn't entirely unknown...

"I assume you are the one who summoned this old man then son?" he asked this rhetorical question as he eyed him up. The man who summoned him looked fairly well built, strange choice of clothing but hey maybe his master was thinking the same thing about him. Casually dropping the piece of wood that had acted as his catalyst back down onto the floor he rather oddly shuffled his way out of the summoning circle. "So... What's the plan son?

Lucienne

Discreet Workshop, Residential District

Letting out a long sigh Lucienne slipped on her jacked. It may have been a more peaceful day than she was used to but it was just as busy and stressful as any other. Well, perhaps even more since she was preparing to set foot in the Grail War. Why on earth didn't I come to Paris sooner for this. Idiot. She scolded herself as she made her way over to the wall. Bringing a notebook that had been resting on a nearby desk with her. She had written down the numbers to people who were connected to her family and could be trusted to help her out during the war. But even so it was a pain to use the telephone. It felt like hours until she was able to reach someone the first time she tried to use one and she still struggles with the stupid brick to this day. Grinding her teeth she rather aggressively punches in the numbers.

"Ohoho, is that Monsieur Bogdanoff?" The man on the other side of the phone would have surely been quite surprised to see the sudden change of mood in this caller. "Ah yes... Well... I was just wondering if you could keep tabs on this little 'hideout' that you so kindly arranged for me during my stay here." The man responds with his usual booming laugh and a "I will see what I can do madame." "Aha merci, merci beaucoup for everything Monsieur, have a wonderful day!" He must think I am paranoid or something. Oh well.. She thought as she left the room and began to climb a set of stairs up to the second floor. "Caster!!! How is everything going on up there! Are you ready to head out! Paris is a beautiful place we should use some of our time to experience it a bit! She yelled up at the servant that she had summoned. Honestly she was expecting a handsome knight in shining armor but she was not displeased with who it was that had answered her call. A beautiful young woman. N-now Lucienne was a beautiful young woman in her own right and had no reason to be jealous at all... Thoughts like these trailed through her slightly self conscious mind as she awaited for her servants response.

To walk once more amongst parisians, da Vinci takes to the stage!

@Sunglass

Stretching as she finished getting changed. da Vinci patted down her clothing, She had thought it best in her preparations that she wore less 'flamboyant' clothing, the bright colours of her regular attire would certainly stick out like a sour thumb on the night streets. Still, even her drab clothing had that manner of class befitting the renowned inventor. She certainly looked like an aristocratic member of french society. That is after all what she intended.

Ah, and just in time too, her master calling for her certainly would expedite her progress as she donned the hat on-top of her flawless strands of brown hair. Ah yes. She was most certainly ready to begin scouting paris at her masters side. A flawless smile encroached on her face as she turned around opening the door to greet her master. "I believe I am now ready master." da Vinci said, standing with a hand on hip, beaming that smile of confidence and reassurance she had seemingly mastered. "Shall we begin?" Her words were simple, fair and eloquent in tone. Such was the benefits of redesigning ones own body to be perfect.

She was quite lucky to have earned such a reasonable master, She would of been beside herself if she had been forced to work with one of the more 'distasteful' fellows. She hoped that tonight would be profitable for the both of them. It would be a disservice to her character if she failed to protect the only person that mattered to her currently as a servant. da Vinci was not the type to accept failure. No no~

Hemlock Reguim

Apartment Workshop, Core District

"Knock on..? Aren't you supposed to say that after someone jinxes something?"

Hemlock felt the hero's presence even before he laid eyes on him. The fog, a byproduct of bringing a warrior from hundreds of years in the past to his apartment, began to settle. Thus, the two could see each other. Amidst the scene, something came to the painter's mind. He spoke restlessly, "Hemlock Reguim, magus of the modern day. Now, just a moment..."

He quickly moved to a window and threw it open, noticing as he did the red markings on the back of his hand. "This fog is probably wreaking hell on my canvases." The vapour began to waft out into the night air, and Hemlock turned back to the spirit he had conjured, who became more and more visible as the last wisps of mist dispersed. "I hope you'll forgive me, but I simply couldn't let my works sit in this moisture for too long. I'm not entirely sure if that was actually water vapour, but I hate to take chances where paintings are involved."

After a few moments, Hemlock closed the window again. He was slightly thrown off by the spirit's attitude, but he supposed it was fine for someone to be that easygoing when they were capable of annihilating most opposition with their bare hands. "As you can probably tell, I'm the mage who summoned you, which makes me your Master. If you find the terms 'Servant' and 'Master' demeaning then you're free to come up with something better. He extended a hand, to seal their bond. Hemlock's new status as a Master gave him insight into the man's capabilities. Strong, bright, vibrant colours in all areas, especially swiftness. If his Servant was so quick, perhaps he had struck fortune beyond fortune and summoned the greatest hero of that war? No, he hadn't survived to an age where he might call himself an 'old man'. "Of course, I must arrange a plan for this war. First, please tell me your class and true name so that I understand what you can do. However, my basic goal won't change based on your abilities: to grasp Paris and the Grail within these eight days, we'll have to eliminate each of our opponents, starting tonight."

Ahez
Palais Omnisports de Paris, Bercy, Residential District
@Unoedipal

The girl stares at the mask in her hands. She had made it herself.

Beneath her, a body. Upon it she saw the corpse of disaster, the destruction of a potential series of events, carved apart by an unseen blade. That too, she had created.

How many more would refuse to listen to her truth? That change was necessary towards survival? Was it so absurd to consider it?

She would have scoffed, had she any mood left to afford the action. Instead, she merely stared at the body. Young -- older than her, but still young. It didn't take much to be older than her, at a mere ten years of age. But she was always beyond her years.

For the moment, she shared the same perception that everyone held -- a world filtered only through the eyes of man, full of lies and false information. For that moment, she could understand the fear of change. What if it too was a lie? What if their ways truly were the only thing protecting their way of life?

And then she placed the Mystic Code back over her eyes, and her vision of the world became unique once more. The ways of her peers were flawed, stifling the very thing they sought to protect. The system of imposed generational hierarchies stifled the mind of the youthful blood, bringing with it false preconceptions and searing them into the flesh of the structure they had built, branding those within it.

But who was willing to truly fight for something different, something better.

Of course she would.

Her family, so minor, had given life to her. And yet she surpassed so many of blood older than hers, and ages greater. That was a proof, in and of itself. Talent and ingenuity were not something dictated by lineage.

She stepped over the body, and towards her nascent group of followers, appraising her eagerly, watching for any flaw.

She presented none. She smiled, and walked without a stutter in her step or apparent mood. A fortress of mind, willing to do what others would not. To contest those who were perceived as uncontestable, and gather those ungatherable.

Let the change come with her, rather than the change bring her.

And what do you know, a few years later she's a pretty big deal. Not the biggest deal, but a fairly sized one. Chunky. It had only taken a bit of asking to acquire the Omnisports Palace to herself under the guise of a 'private event', which wasn't entirely incorrect. It was indeed private, and it was doubly indeed an event.

And so she went about the business one would conduct in a supposed Holy Grail War. Step one, set up shop with appropriate warning systems and a couple of layers of proximity defences tick. Step two assemble The Dashing Fellows, three chimeras who could serve her in the initial stages of the so-called Holy Grail War. Eagowl Swift, the Prince, and Lil' Beezle would server her well. The former two had already moved on to their respective missions, acting as her eyes on the city and her ears in the walls. Lil' Beezle on the other hand just licked himself at her feet, because he was mostly cat. But he was a good cat-thing, she could tell.

The final preparation was to merely summon a Servant. It did not matter which in her mind. A legend was a legend, and while some were greater than others, many would not cooperate with her particular mindset. So she would fall into the arms of whichever one fate summoned. She summoned blindly, and called upon her blade.

It was something of a good match.

The stage lights focused on her, the rest of the stadium in pure darkness.

And so she began the first dance of the event to her audience of none.

"Un bel dí, vedremo lavarsi un fil de fumo ♪"

And so went the song of Madame Butterfly. It is a slow dance, not one intended to be moved to as much as it was listened to. But alas, dance adapts, and so too does she. Even still, she changes the message of the Butterfly, turns the dance into something almost optimistic despite the longing sadness contained within her song. Defiance ran through her being, even translating into something as simple as something like that -- a transforming dance.

She was not the Butterfly. She was not a creature of tragedy, but one of a hopeful future.

To her, she was merely dancing for the fun of it. To the non-existent audience, or any who would observe, she was the sun itself, blinding in her grace. Every movement was a charm.

"But this... is merely the opening act!" she declared to no one, a near ferocious grin on her face, eager for what came next. She reached out with a hand, one leg jutting out behind her into a picture perfect arabesque pose. "This is not my act alone, no no! You have not come to see I, but the main star."

She broke into a spin, her once-pointed out leg coming back in to carry her around. She seamlessly slid to the ground, gesturing out to the darkness of the stage, posed like a helpless maiden despite being anything but. "Tell me, o star! Do we actors not have feelings to? Are we not people?!"

"Does the tragedy we act out not become real? Does the joy we feel not get swept away? Answer me, o star! Answer me, Assassin!"

It was going to be a clown of a time, she could tell.

Abe no Seimei
City of Science & Industry, Parc de la Villete, Canal District
@Froppy

There were many things in life and unlife that the one called 'Seimei' enjoyed. Being doted upon was one of them, no matter what form it happened to take. Indeed, having his hair and ears stroked on a quiet day on the lap of another was certainly among the finer things in life, and it was something he tended to have little difficulty getting out of certain people. It was in his nature to be looked after, and to look after others. It simply could not be helped.

As it was in that moment, his so-called Master had wisely and willingly allowed him to rest his head of fluffy hair upon her legs while she went about the process of winning his favor -- not that she had to work hard for it. Her appearance was none too dissimilar from a spider woman he had once dealt with, and that was a compliment of the highest order. She had died, and he had reveled in her death, but even in that moment he could not fail to acknowledge the unusual beauty of such a thing.

Kurojishi Mirai had the added benefit of not being an actual monster. Maybe one in spirit and mind, but that was merely within the capacity of humanity. It was the kind of monster he could accept. The kind of monster he could foster and protect.

The great sage's ear twitched, a pleased hum coming from his throat, eyes shut.

All the while, his limbs were in action. His feet moved with an uncanny deftness, brushes held between a pair of toes for each foot, trailing black ink into patterns which then completed into blessings of earthly protection and a calling of spirit respectively. One for when they're out and about, the other for Mirai's impressive pet thing.

Well, impressive by her standards. It needed work in his eyes -- everything she had set up did. But such were the limitations of the age, he supposed. He would guide her hand, improve her craft in a way that ensures she retains the knowledge. Although not much of a teacher in any other matter, the area of their shared interest was a different matter.

He would, naturally, improve her pet too. It could be so much more. In the absence of his beloved Commanders, he would have to make a new one. The ground work her family laid allowed for him to potentially reach that height, where he would otherwise be restrained by whatever he had on hand. Indeed, binding it to him would also solve a myriad of issues in regards to power.

But it needed work first. Its spirit needed to be awakened -- and failing that, a new one needed to be created inside of it.

And he was nothing if not an expert when it came to such things.

His free hand paged through his tome, tracing the ancient dried ink within. He knew each line off by heart, so he was mostly using it for referencing. Creating Ofuda came automatically and quickly to him, but he wasn't about to not reference his own work. That'd be a waste.

He opened an eye steadily, looking up at Mirai's face (barely, there was something in the way -- two things), a cheeky little smirk spreading across his contradictory pretty-and-handsome face.

"The benefits of having so many limbs. You can still attend to my comfort while working so diligently. You're an admirable woman, Master," he finished with an almost teasing tone. "I can only hope to fulfil my role for you, as much of a tricky and useless husband as I may be."

He shut his eye again.

Abe no Seimei's thoughts were always preoccupied with people. How to help them, how to exploit them, how to move them forward, how to love them. It was the kind of animal he was.

That had not changed.

The woman before him had forged a contract. As such, his thoughts became focused on her. How to fulfil the role she needed, how to please her and make her happy.

But it was all a selfish love. It was that love that moved him forward in the world, which brought him to the ear of the emperor and the friendship of the Minamoto. But within that love was also necessity, and the understanding of stewardship. Humans could not always see the way forward, so he would push them.

The beast of love. A love that can kill as easily as it can please.

"So, what do you have planned for the evening? This supposed city of love has many sights, I am informed," he not-so-subtly suggested.

He wasn't the stay at home sort of husband.

Madhisi
Current Location: Entering the Western side of the Canal District
"This isn’t right…” Madhisi thought as she continued to follow her way. She was now walking in a more steady manner after the link between her and Berserker began to stabilize. It was still unbearably painful to have such a load applied on her body, but she had to endure it if she wanted to change anything.

“Why can I feel anyone around here? Di-- Did they choose to have their war in the city?” her thoughts were still foggy, however, even the limited cognitive capacity she had at the moment was enough to infer this.

Were the mages taking part in this war even more degenerate than she imagined? Could they willingly risk the lives of innocents -- or even more, their so beloved masquerade -- by having their war in the city’s center, instead of the outskirts like this district which Madhisi chose to prowl?

Perhaps, if she spread some rumors, or set up a trap to make herself look careless and weak, she could get the attention of someone without having to take Berserker into the more inhabited areas.

“Very well, then. You, move. Find anyone nearby, stalk them for long enough to make them run away and leave this area alone and then come back to me. You are forbidden from harming anyone even if they attack you,” she said, ordering her golem to go around the parks and most desert areas in their vicinity and spook people enough to both have them leave the nearby area as well as spread rumors about a monster running amok around Parc de la Villette.

Maybe this would get some attention.

Going towards: Spreading rumors around the area

Saber of Decimation
Latin District
???, Arènes de Lutèce

@GreenGoat@Indra@Seirei no Hai

"Very well, Master..."

Given the command to engage in any matter he saw fit, Saber quickly moved forward as he began to explore more of the Latin District. The architecture of this place was something he admired, reminding him of an age that had long since passed. At one point, he paraded streets like these as king while the citizens, his royal subjects, sung praises for his many victories. At the same time, it reminded the once great king of how hollow those victories were, and how he, filled with those bittersweet memories, only marched alone during the times of his twilight years.

Such was the life of a great hero.

A sudden emitting of great magical energy had broken Saber out of his nostalgic ruminations. Quickly rushing to the location, he found himself in the middle of a rather empty amphitheater. It was quite strange, seeing as it was empty and all. Saber's eyes searched the arena, looking for whatever the cause of alarm was, until his eyes settle upon a small cottage. As the Servant made his way to the entrance, the sound of fighting had increased. Of course, it was also clear to Saber that another Servant happened to be on the other side of the door, with something else, something familiar in close vicinity...

Making his sudden entrance, Saber quickly started to discern what was going on. There were three figures before him: the one who was obviously a Servant was making some sort of attempt to calm one of the two mortals down, namely the one that was wrapped by some sort of snake, likely a construct or familiar of the Servant. Judging by this particular Servant's words and mannerisms, it was likely that Saber had stumbled upon a Caster or Rider Servant of that variety. Unfortunate, but at least it further narrows down who his opponent may be. In any case, between the Servant attempting to pacify a third-rate magus with a Phantasmal Beast and the bruised young woman who appeared to be the Master standing in the sidelines, it was starting to be clear to Saber that his first opponent doesn't happen to be the strongest.

"Garbage..."

As he spoke up, Saber materialized almost instantly, a hideous blade in his hands. It looked more like a giant cleaver than a sword, fit for someone clearly larger than a normal man. With a single jerk of his arms, he quickly decapitated the man wrapped in the snake's grasp. Shifting giant's blade, Nagelring, in his hand and pointing it towards Moses, Saber slowly moved himself into a battle stance, anticipating the Caster's first attack in cold silence. A smoldering fury built up within the Demon Prince's very being, a sort of anger that stems from annoyance. It was the same feeling that one would feel after slapping a mosquito that happened to land on one's arm, or finding out someone had left the toilet seat down. Saber had hoped that his opponent was much stronger than his first impression had let out, or if that snake of his was much more impressive than it seemed to be... but he can't help but be annoyed at the spectacle he stumbled into.

I found an enemy Servant along with his Master. Likely a Hebrew Caster, but we shouldn't rule out that he could also be a Rider. Either way, they're both weak. I'm at the Arènes de Lutèce. Shall I crush them now, or would you rather I wait for your arrival?

Wynter Lobos

West End of Montmartre: Family-rented house.

Wynter was stunned for a moment, but as Archer continued talking, she couldn't help but smile. Maybe things would work out after all? She felt a surge of confidence with Archer by her side. "You're right, I'm sorry. As your partner, I should at least give something myself. Hmm..." She paused in thought. "This house has supplies and a basic bounded field to detect intruders, but that's all. My father planned to improve it as the war went on, but... he's gone now, and I need to be able to handle things without him if we're going to survive. Finding a better place might be a good idea, but if we can't this is at least the bare minimum we'll need."

"As for gandr... I can shoot fairly accurately, but I don't think I could hit a moving target in a critical spot if it came down to it, so if you have a way to practice for that, it could be useful. Alternatively, if I have a couple seconds, I could make gandr rain from a surface such as a wall, but then there's not accuracy; it's just 'spray and pray', so to speak."

"As for the catalyst, it's a decent gun for its time, made famous by the deadliest shooter in the Wild West. Maybe not the best shooter, but the one with the highest death count. But you're right about needing to find out more about the city. I did precursory scouting earlier but it would be better for you to see it with your own eyes, right?"
@Danchou

Six Coins Rider

France-Paris. Eiffel Tower

"I'm quite impressed by the modern world, yes. But don't you think replacing a landmark as large as this with something as out of place as my Noble Phantasm would be asking other Servants to come find us? Not to mention the chaos it would cause. I doubt I could fit it at the bottom without destroying at least one corner of it, but if that is your command I will follow it, my lord. I wouldn't mind trying out a modern 'vehicle', the plane that brought us here was fascinating, but I feel it would be dishonorable to have to steal one. If we could simple purchase something the size of a horse, I believe that would be best. Perhaps one of these 'motorcycles' would work well?"

Rider didn't truly care one way or another for how his Master treated him yet, the real test would be after the initial stress of just having arrived. He would serve faithfully unless an unforgivable offense was committed. Not interacting with other Servants suited him just fine. Scouting is an important step that must happen before combat, after all.

Archer
Tristan -- The Knight of Lamentation
Current Location: Business District -- Close to River Seine
"It seems that we have already found our first opponents," Tristan said as he came to a halt over a building, placing Yazhu back on the floor before standing up, his eyes sharp and focused at the distant gloom.

"I can sense a Servant nearby, 300-- maybe, 500 meters away at most. I’m not sure if they are with their Master or just by themselves. Stay beside me, if you judge you can make any move, I shall create an opening for you," Tristan said in a serious voice as a cold wind blew by them. A portent of the sadness that comes with the beginning of any battle no doubt.

"Now then, let us hear what melody you have to sing," Tristan said to himself as he paced around the edges of the roof, trying to single out their target’s location with Failnaught ready to spring into action at a moment’s notice. If he could get a shot before they noticed him and Yazhu, maybe he could end this fight before it even began. The absolute best case scenario.

Going towards: Nowhere at the moment -- singling out targets

Tenryuu Gensai
???, Arènes de Lutèce

"What!? Are you sure!?" Another servant! Surely they cannot be as weak as Saber says, or perhaps he meant in relation to him. If it was some great figure she would be respected even if they only clashed. Or even if she lost, with the excuse that 'it can't be helped with such a powerful figure'. Maybe she could even try perfecting her explosions while in battle with them! Probably not for long considering the condition of the flask right now, but still!

"I'm going there Saber! Do what you must until then!"

With a simple ritual for making people not notice her, she sprinted down the streets at full speed, only reinforcing herself to move faster once she reached the parts of the city that were almost empty. Within a short span of time, she reached their destination, only to find... well, Tenryuu wasn't sure if the Master there should even be in this war. No, she had come here in expectations of an experienced magus, ready for a hearty duel. But this...

It was enough for her to step back slightly. Tenryuu had never once thought she would be fighting someone like this; her eyes was full of fear, and she looked like the poster child for domestic abuse.

"Ara, losing your nerve already, Mistress?"

Of course, it was Chii, her maid, taking her sweet time getting here. But her voice bolstered Tenryuu's nerves a bit. Taking a deep breath, she stepped forwards again, facing towards the enemy Master.

"I am Tenryuu Gensai! Face me honorably in a duel!"

Hanzo smiled as her Master talked to her telepathically.

"I see lights everywhere Master. The view is breath taking and...-"

Two ninja appeared behind her, as she stood up immediately, her telescope trained upon a certain direction. A direction of what seemed to be a Master Servant pair.

"Master. I have spotted an enemy. I will see if I can't get rid of this one immediately."

It was a fair distance away, but she was on top of a vantage point and had the advantage of surprise. With just this distance away, and with them getting closer to the Eiffel tower... well, it played to her favour to put it simply.

Recalling the ten she sent out earlier, she sent them out instead, to prepare the ground works for her assault. As the ten hastened to prepare the land around the pair, she instead, used her speed to her fullest, along with her ability, moving so fast that even to a Servant's eyes she would seem like she had simply disappeared. Combining her skill and ability with that method of movement, her blade seemed like it took but an instant to flash out, aiming for Agria. With a blow that fast and strong, she would be left bisected should the attack not be intercepted or interrupted.

Yazhu Hua

Mentions: Tristan (@KoL). Unknown people (@Unoedipal(Master) @Phonic(Servant) )

Tristan's knightly vow and bow surprised her quite a bit, and she hadn't fully recovered from the words he said to her when she was picked up by the Archer as if she was a princess, a gesture that gave out an embarassingly high-pitched yelp from the chinese woman who prayed to whichever higher being was watching over her at that moment that her Servant wasn't looking at her at that moment.

However, the burning sensation on the back of her hand, the place where her Command Seals were placed underneath her gloves, was brought to her partner's attention and she began to dart her head around once she was set on her foot. "I can't do anything from this far away; my speciality is close combat. Don't shoot yet, see if they're making any hostile movements. If they're going to try and negotiate, we should hear them out". It was a risky move, but the truth of the matter remained that Yazhu was on her own on this war, a fact that would be incredibly disadvantageous and that would be best remedied soon. If she could form a temporary pact with some other Master during this war, that'd significatively increase her chances of survival.

The wind, sound, and light all faded, but the radiance of the room did not fade.

Stepping from the summoning circle was a regal man, clad in a shining armor. Tousled blonde hair, a confident smile, and the brilliant shine of a Heroic Spirit. He, without question, gave off the aura of a prince, or rather a king. The mere presence he possessed was nothing short of absurd; even among Heroic Spirits, it could claim to stand at the peak, enough that a normal human would feel the need to prostrate themselves simply on sight.

At his side was a sword. A dazzling, golden sword forged from the dreams of mankind and the prayers of the planet. A divine Last Phantasm that knew no equal in this world.

Even the eyes of Master's Clairvoyance would confirm his nature.

STR: A
CON: A+
AGI: B
MGI: B
LCK: B
NP: EX

He took in the sight of his summoner with a smile, and spoke.

"I ask you--"

"-Is it not a farce?!"

The 'costume' shattered. Armor became cloth. A Last Phantasm became a mere knife.

A King of Knights became a trivial clown, ranting and raving and screaming for all to know.

"And so they say unto us- put on the costume, the powder, and the paint! And so, swallow down your heart, change your tears and anguish into clowning, and into a grimace your sobbing and your pain! Laugh, they say, at your shattered love! Laugh at the sorrow that has rent your heart!"

A dark madness glinted in his eyes, dredged up by the words that had steeped his summoning. With each sentence, his form changed.

An idiot spaniard who dreamed of chivalry. A misguided princess destined for the guillotine. A grand knight struck down by his dearest. A black god who dismayed at his path.

The clown returned with their end. At a speed beyond the realm of mere humans, he darted forwards, expression manic, hateful, paranoid as the tip of his knife lined up with the jugular of the girl who had called him into this world.

"Yes, precisely! But even then, the man reclaims his right, the heart that bleeds wants blood to wash away!"

I am Pagliaccio.
I am not Pagliaccio!

That grand tirade came to a halt. That knife dissolved into motes of magical energy. That raving clown took a simple step back.

"As he would say: The comedy begins. Do not disappoint me, Master."

A stage bow, as if that was all that needed to be said.

As Isidore would finish the incantation, magical energy that had been swirling about within the magic circle came to its climax. Light erupted from the magic circle as a servant accepted the call to arms, and smoke filled the area of the magic circle in the immediate aftermath. But what heroic spirit could he have summoned? The great Chiron, he who had trained heroes such as Achilles in the arts of Pankration? Was it Plato himself, the wrestler and servant the robotic magic had imagined in his very mind to try to summon? Was it the hero Heracles, mightiest of all Greek heroes who had completed many labors and fought many foes?

"Well, well, well...so this is the kid who summoned me, eh? Seems to be a biiiiiiiiiiit too serious, but maybe we can change that."

Wait...that didn't sound like something Plato would say, right? Nonono, maybe it was Achilles? Yes, of course! It had to be-

"Ol' Plato pointed me this way, didn't wanna walk away from his match against the Chiron guy back in the Throne. Damn shame he didn't want to come for all of this fun though~"

-...what?! That was a lot of sarcasm, and if his words were right he wasn't most of those other well-known greeks! But who was he then? Was this some younger form of Heracles or something?! Maybe some ancient and experienced Olympic champion who had managed to answer the summons?

As the smoke from the summoning began to quickly fade, the figure before Isidore became clearer and clearer. Until eventually, it was easy to see the rather strangely-dressed individual standing before him:

"You are going to get a little lesson in trickery while i'm around, kid. Even Herc had to learn the hard way from me, and look how he turned out! Bwuahahahahahaha!!! He's the Greatest Hero of Greece!"

This strange man seemed very amused by his own words and the situation, laughing like a happy idiot. He then crossed his arms, looking Isidore in the eyes with a gleeful grin and glint in his eyes.

"But that cup said to ask you something, i guess, before we get started~

I ask of you, are you my master?"

Charlotte

High-Rise District (just barely across the river from the Eiffel Tower)

Penthouse Suite, The Golden Shangri-La Hotel

All would say she looked no older than 19 or 20, her hair drills cascading down onto and around her body. Her Caucasian skin somewhat reflected the gentle moonlight, her blue eyes reflecting a large sense of pride and determination as she looked down upon the spare sheet she'd drawn her summoning circle upon. However, her clothing left little to the imagination, and the most telling feature was-

"Oh, hohohohoho!"

-...that laugh. That trademark, "ojou-sama" laugh that she had seemingly perfected in only 27 years of life.

But who was she, a proud magus of noble blood, to not be able to strike an impression of noble pride upon the peasants who struggled against the weight of this world? She would have been nothing! A sham! Thus she would laugh, laugh in the face of the foolish, in the face of her foes, and in the face of the people who dared to try to stop her here. This land would be the jumping-off point, a great gain of glory as compared to that pathetic little cup she had also been promised here. A wish? Surely whatever backwater hillbillies that had made this were desperate to chase the coattails of some better magus such as herself!

But no, this was a serious matter. Dirty peasants and tricky fools, one had to keep a careful eye on ones like them. A dog driven mad into a corner was more dangerous than some might think. And to this end, she had procured nothing short of the best, an artifact of a great French heroic spirit who would serve her! They would follow her very will, slay her enemies, and assist in her conquest of the spiritual land of the beloved Paris. That would be sufficient, yes.

Charlotte stepped into the circle, gently placing a deteriorated piece of shoulder armor in the center before stepping back out of the circle. A relic, as it was, of one of the great Paladins of Charlemagne. It seemed to barely hold together, metal worn and dented and heavens knows what filth had once clung to it when it was excavated. Frankly the Durandal would have been a better choice, but with so many fools eyeing such a piece it would be easy to tell who she was summoning if knowledge of that being stolen had gotten out.

Nonono, this was subtle enough to a "T" to work for this situation. Her presence would be known, along with a few others who she knew had come to this city as well to claim her prize, her land she would rule over, but they would have no idea who her servant was until it was too late! They would fall before her chosen knight, and their heads would be placed before her feet as punishment for their impunity!

"Heed my words. My will creates your body-," the girl began to chant, the incantation slipping off of her lips like a well-rehearsed bible verse, becoming somewhat more mechanical for a moment a she uttered the summoning spell, until eventually-

"...oh keeper of the balance!"

-her servant would finally arrive.

Canal District, Arondissement 10, McDonalds

@ItMeGritty

A steady sound of wood descending upon porcelain echoed throughout the sparsely populated room, it's residents have long gotten over the peculiarity of a seemingly young man relying upon a walking aid to get around. They could not have been aware of the relatively advanced age of the wielder of such an implement from his outer appearance, but within the magical community the age of 48 was but a blink of an eye and those who chose to conceal their age was a nonsubstantial percentage of practitioners.

His steady pace betrayed his thoughts not, his stony face kept in an almost perpetual grimace as he crossed the room.

170. A curious number not deprived of meaning. In the mystical community assigning meaning and power was not uncommon, Numerology was a popular field of study in itself. Descended from the belief Pythagaros held within the "practicality" of numbers, then spun off into a myriad of beliefs, all adapted to the systems they have attached themselves to. Prominent examples include the 72 Names of God which the Kabbalists utilize, to the even the I Ching of the Chinese.

How auspicious it would be then, for him to have received 170. One added to seven created eight, eight was the number of success. The influence of zero indicated the support of a higher being. 170 also encompassed the complete number of names Odin was said to possess.

It would seem that even the stars have aligned to hand Eichhörnchen victory.

Having the end of his journey, he cleansed his mind in order to complete the task required of him.

"170 would be I."

Eichhörnchen responds smoothly. Taking his tray with nary a word, he began his treck back, ignoring whatever response might have come forth. Stopping before his designated seat, he sets down his bounty before seating himself.

Unwrapping his meal, his shades hid his gaze, yet there was an unmistakable sense he was looking to his acquaintance across him.

Silence passed, another bite was taken.

Seconds pass, the audible sound of his chewing filled the awkwardness between them.

Until finally, he swallowed, savoring the crispness of the shredded lettuce. The ripe juices of the tomato running through his mouth, melding perfectly with the toasted buns slathered in special sauce. Cheese barely melting, it's viscousness holding together the unrecognizable mash that the burger became.

Almost the pinnacle of perfection.

Almost.

But it was not the time to pursue perfection. Not yet at least, that comes after what he had come here for.

Setting down his Big Mac, Eichhörnchen finally began to speak to his partner for the first time he had entered the McDonalds.

"I'm going, to be frank here Lancer. I have no high hopes for us as a team to be quite honest. Your identity is an obscure one, and while that may be to our advantage, I have no doubt that the others will have summoned legendary heroes of this continent instead of some backwater in the Pacific. Here you are, without the support of the fame you have gained on that island."

He paused for a moment as if to let that sink in.

"I got no confidence in you, but to be honest I don't really give a damn. As long as you can hold your own and distract their servants, I'm confident in my own ability to overcome the others, and if you do happen to take one out, hey, good on you buddy. So let's go and I'll win the grail for both of us capiche?"

Finished with his scathing diatribe he returned back to his meal. Finishing up he rose back up and motioned for the door.

"Now let's go out and kick some poor fuckers ass."

@Crusader Lord

Well, that was unexpected.

Isidore knew that using such an open-ended catalyst would result in some sort of deviation, but to deviate so far as to summon a Servant quite different from the Master is strange, indeed. As it stands, it's clear that this strangely-dressed Servant wasn't the one that he had sought to summon. No, judging by his behavior and outfit, it's almost very clear to the alchemist just who the grail chose to be his Servant in this war. In any case, there's no denying that this man is also a master at the techniques that the Gavros sought to improve upon. And if he truly is that thief...

"... Yes, that is correct. I am your Master." Isidore stated, as he began to pull his hoodie off, revealing to the Servant who stood before him a strange, impressive sight; a sleek black metal frame with dimly glowing orange lights. To Autolycus, Isidore's body resembled the armor of a certain other famous hero of Greece, known for their speed. Isidore's cybernetic body was, indeed, a well-made replica of that very same armor that was praised throughout the Trojan War.

Of course, at the same time, such an impressive body was not just for show. Surely, it also had some sort of combat capabilities. Isidore's intentions weren't just to show off to his Servant his greatest weapons. No, all of the alchemist's actions served to have a purpose, and indeed, the reason behind why he chose to summon a Servant of the sort that he did was rather simple. Stuffing his hoodie into the gym bag before tossing it to the side, Isidore moved into a striking stance, wasting no movement as he did so. Locking eyes with his Servant, the Gavros heir steeled his own resolve. It was Isidore's intention to see just how the Gavros family's martial arts fared in comparison to that of a hero of myth, both to see how his body would handle against a Servant as well as to see if the art refined by his ancestors was able to hold up against another master of Pankration.

"If you truly are the man that taught Heracles how to wrestle, then show me what you've got."

Why won't she love me?
I love her... So why did she run?
I fought an army for her. I saved her from the monsters?
Why then? WHY DID SHE RUN!? It doesn't make sense!

If it doesn't make sense... Does that mean nothing does? That's it. Nothing makes sense! Sense is a lie! Everything I believe in...

Lies.

He threw his clothes to the wind. His armor, his helmet, everything. The only thing he kept was his sword and his horse. His sanity? So lost that it had found itself a home on the moon where all lost things belonged. But that was so... Long ago. Long enough ago that he had forgotten it. Or perhaps he had been made to forget. But... Why where they rushing back now!? The memories flooded his head, they poured in like water from a spring!

He remembered her. Angelica.
He remembered with clarity her golden hair. It was like the finest silk. Weaved into long curls that drifted down her sides.
He remembered the dress she wore with details to spare. Lovely reds and blues. She was the symbol of grace and beauty for her time.
He remembered... Her laugh! It echoed out through the courtyards! He once waited a day just to hear it reach his window!

She left him. He found her happy. Without him. And his heart broke.

As his eyes opened though, he saw her. Where was the shepherd? Had she left him? Had she come to HIM!?
That golden hair! THAT SMILE! THAT LAUGH THAT ECHOED! This truly was her! How was she still alive? Perhaps... She had summoned him! She had pulled him from the depths! She wanted... HIM!

The light converged into a form. The form of a man. No, not a man. A titan. A man who wore armor, but it was worn. It was not shiny. It was cracked and worn. But it still screamed of strength. His eyes focused on her, and he bowed. Falling to his knees, grinning from ear to ear.
"ANGELICA!" His voice echoed through the building, probably waking a couple sleeping below. "You do love me! You summoned me!"

He was on two feet again, stepping closer with a grin on his lips. But from his body, his eyes. He was wild. Insane. Not a Saber like she might have desired, but a Berserker. The mad Roland who had thrown his clothing away in madness. And his love had called for that very madman. He was truly the most blessed!

Her will had created his body. But his sanity? That was still on the moon.

"What is it you need of me!? Are the Saracens chasing after you again? Is it Rinaldo?" His eyes narrowed, his teeth gritted. "The shepherd. He has wronged you! Has he broken your heart like you broke mine? My heart will mend, but I will make sure that his bones will be scattered so far apart that he shall never be whole again!" He was jumping to conclusions, but as he stood over Charlotte Angelica it was clear he was the very knight she needed.

"I WILL KILL HIM!"

Stop Making Ryte's Situation Worse >=<
Latin District (Arènes de Lutèce)
Dusk

A thump came from the wooden floorboards of her shabby home. The man that was carried by her Servant has died. Out of relief, she had opened her eyes slowly, only to find that the hero she expected wasn't the one who killed him.

Instead it was something much more fierce, much more dangerous... much more...

Demonic

No words, no announcements. He just simply took out a "sword" and sliced his head clean off of the grasp of the wrapped man. His body writhed momentarily before it fell lifeless in the grasp of its scales. Was it over? She summoned two people? Two? With her badly decaying Circuits meant to last a month or less, she summoned two?

She opened her mouth to thank both of them only to have been stopped by another newcomer, the girl who seemed hesitant at first but showed resolve when another one arrived.

"I am Tenryuu Gensai! Face me honorably in a duel!"

She couldn't believe her luck. So was this just another test of Fate? Did this person only kill this man to get her hopes up only to shatter them with another invitation to fight?! Heartless! Cruelty! Then again, such is ignorance. She really didn't know what she was here for. With small tears in her eyes she just simply kneeled, clenched fists... as if she's holding thread.

...thread...

Yes. Thread. Something similar to guerrilla tacticians whenever they wish to set up mundane traps, was it the same with her? In the darkness it was a little hard to see, especially with the moon just glaring from the hills opposite.

"...please leave me alone..." she would warn. Sobbing slightly, her Command Spells were fully exposed to Tenryuu. It was obvious she's a Master but if she had an ounce of humanity in her. She'd see that the girl herself wasn't lying and that the clenched fists could mean a crushing defeat from her. "I'm already tired of running... so please..." she had finally recovered from her speaking. Sure she hacks a rough cough from time to time and her injuries feel like they hurt way more than they look. Her golden eyes just glared straight at Tenryuu's, her balled up fists just trembling for her to at the very least heed her request.

She could only look at the Snake-Man Caster beside her who seemed to be on her side as he didn't know who the mysterious armored intruder was. all she could learn from him was that he doesn't hesitate.

At all.

A superior strategy indeed, one could not expect anything less from the famous Nobunaga in the end. As Nobunaga spoke of going on the offense, Nobukara's eyes shined with adoration as she looked upon her beloved ancestor. Everything about her shined, her care for these locals who she didn't even know, her beautiful pride, the way she looked out to the world and saw her future conquest. It was no wonder so many had gathered under her name, she was simply overflowing with raw Charisma.

As Nobunaga approached her, demanding that she find a reason to not go with her wonderful plan, Nobukara was once again reminded of why she had joined this war. This was her reason, to elevate this wonderful existence in front of her to heights never before seen by man. She bent down to one knee, head bowed to the floor as she attempted to hide her massive blush. "Of course Lord Nobunaga. It is as you say, we must go on the attack immediately. When we do find an enemy Servant, I could kill their Master from the shadows to aid in your fight. If it pleases you of course." It would be a simple matter, her Mystic Codes would suppress any hint of her existence, combined with her Ninjutsu it would be easy to act as a true shinobi and strike any unsuspecting Magus before they knew what hit them.

"Something else to consider my lord, but if we find any fallen leylines it would be prudent to set up some sort of trap and wait for enemy Masters to come. Many Magus consider fallen leylines highly valuable as a source of energy, thus it would make the perfect bait for an ambush." This was the difference in their mindsets. As a shinobi, Nobukara had dedicated her training into the art of the perfect assassination, direct confrontations was a last resort for her. However for someone as straightforward as Nobunaga, a conqueror who unified Japan through war, the path to victory lied in battle.
