@Stein I assume that some of the Gods are from the Greek/Roman mythology? I am lowkey interested now especially since I am playing WW.

Yis. Yis they do. Persephone and Dionysus. I love their take on Dionysus because his incarnation essentially mentally transports people to a euphoric pocket dimension that's enhanced by drugs.

Granted, it's a GREAT comic. But it's not necessarily an action comic in the same vein as Marvel or DC. It's more of a commentary with a lot of action and drama. It's a great look at how we worship celebrities as icons. Hell, Sakhmet is based on Rihanna in terms of looks. Baal has elements of Drake in his appearance and grandiose style, but also nods to Jay-Z in his "American Gangster"/"The Black Album" days. Ametarasu, I THINK, is somewhat based on Florence Welch.

@Stein I think Baal and the world of Wicked + Divine could work in this world. After all, many people view Wonder Woman as a God due to her strength and immorality. And also what Byrd said.

I guess I have to read a comic now.

Ooh The Wicked + The Divine would work pretty well in a DC/Marvel universe I feel. Would certainly be interesting to see how they cope with not being the only "Gods" that people worship

@Lord Wraith I went back and did some work on the post. Threw out the racism commentary, unless i missed something. The only bit i left in was "Lol, 25 cent was a lot of money in the 50's" and "Lol, they'll sell Tobacco to a 15 year old"

Again, i want to put out a sorry to anyone i offended, especially at @Stein. This is why i was asking people to tell me if i went too far. As you said before, i'm not holding anything against you and hope that we can maintain a good working relationship going forward.

@mattmanganon So I took a night to think about this entire issue and I can't fathom how you could have posted that post in the first place. You knew it was offensive, and yes I'm at fault for not responding earlier but there's no way that post should ever have made it into the IC. So I'm sorry to say, but I'm officially removing you from the roleplay. Thank you for your contributions but, I just can't have a repeat of this incident and I've received several concerns about the content of your posts.
