Mamoru Akasha

Mamoru eventually found her way towards the teacher’s office were Luelle last mentioned she was at, however when she arrived the door was ajar and she didn’t see anyone there. Just a few teachers and some shorty Mamoru didn’t recognize. ”Heyo! You wouldn’t happen to have seen a short kid with bright blue hair and mismatched eyes, did ya?” The kid pointed down the hall towards the storage room, and Mamoru left shortly after. Wasn’t long until Mamoru ran into two familiar faces; Luelle and Dulga. Waving at the two girls Mamoru called them out. ”Heeeeey! Didn’t expect to see ya both here! Where’s Kaida?”

As Mamoru ran up to the two girls, more students started to fill the hall as they moved onto their next class. Mamoru cursed to herself and was annoyed that lunch was over. She wanted to do so much more stuff! Alas, she’d simply have to move on. Still, may as well take what she could and drag her two new friends with her. ”Looks like lunch is over. Next class is starting soon! Why don’t we all go together? Pretty sure we’re taking the same class anyways. Like, seventy percent positive.” Dulga looked at the two girls excitedly as if expecting them to agree with the pink-haired maniac.

Donny Yang

Donny could only palm his face as Kenichi and Acion continued to goad and argue with the A2 kids. At this point he regretted not leaving sooner with jett and Mina. He certainly started regretting when none other than the principle arrived and started getting angry. If Donny had a bladder he’d piss himself as he was lifted into the air helplessly flailing as he tried to stablize himself. Of course the Gravity Yarl was pissed that one of the other students got hurt, and Donny was especially concerned because it was Ezra who had ended up hurting someone. That was going to reflect badly on A1, and give the A2 guys even more ammo against them. Frankly this entire situation got way out of hand and Donny wasn’t sure where anyone stood anymore. While he of course would side with his friends on this matter, Donny had no delusions that this whole situation paints the A1 guys in a bad light. It was their word against A2, and they didn’t exactly come across as the kind and upstanding heroes expected of Komei. Thuggery and petty insults were tossed on both sides, but only one actually went out of their way to hurt someone.

Sufficient to say, Donny’s final mistake was just sticking around and not running when he had a chance.

Eventually the principle let everyone down and warned them about starting trouble again. Everyone quickly left, including Donny. Donny didn’t see anyone from A2 leave, so they either stayed before or got out first. Didn’t matter too much to him though, he wanted to put this all behind him as soon as possible. Though he did help himself to a few uneaten meals from the sudden dismissal of lunch. Walking through the halls Donny tried to calm his nerves about the whole affair and hope that this was going to be the end of it. Even if he knew otherwise, he clung onto the hope that maybe they don’t have to deal with this nonsense ever again. At least the next class would help Donny get his mind off of everything.

Kaida Baeumont Jett Haven Kasuke Mina Roy Kusayanagi

Kaida nodded, "Thank you Kasuke. she said simply as she started to follow Kasuke to class. She did note that she didn't smile, was she just being polite? She glanced at Jett who was following as well, did she interrupt something? Is that why Kasuke had a tone earlier? She pushed that thought away as she walked next to Kasuke. Putting her hands behind her back as she glanced back at Jett and smiled. The boy was handsome, and was charming with his words. She looked forward as she blushed a little some more thinking on what he said, a little hop in her step. He could be very well just being nice to her. But still it made her day.

She glanced over at Mina and said, "So which class are you both in? Hero? General studies? I happen to be in A-1 Hero course...I was held up this morning with an issue...So I missed the first half of school." She said. She already knew as Roy told her, but she wanted to hear it from them as well. She stopped bouncing as much as her sword was slapping her thigh a bit much. She touched the crossguard with her elbow to stop it from swinging as much, Her eyes still on Mina, while glancing at Jett every minute or so.

”We’re both in the Hero course too. A-1. So that’s good news,” Mina answered with just a hint of sarcasm. The glances at Jett weren’t going unnoticed, nor did the sword, which Mina beckoned to. ”I didn’t know they allowed weapons here.”

Kaida smiled missing the sarcasm: she looked at Mina and said “That's Great! It seems it's my lucky day.” The fact that Jett was her classmate. “I've run into half the class already! Must be destiny. “ she looked at her sword and suddenly realist Mina could be right. “Oh I want stopped by security when I came in I figured it was ok. “ she turned red at the thought she might be breaking a major rule. “ I guess I have to ask the next teacher and find out “

Jett while he was speaking with Kaida, had noticed Kasuke acting out when he was busy speaking to Kaida out of the corner of his eye. He had a slight smile on his face as he thought it was cute and funny. He literally had spoken to Kaida for only thirty seconds or so, and yet she acted like it was hours. Once Kasuke answered Kaida she quickly move on without even looking at him. He cocked his head to the side. Slightly confused at what just happened. He followed as well, glancing at Kaida as she looked back at him. He smiled at her and moved to the other side of Kasuke so she was in the middle.

Kaida mentioned she was in A-1 which was surprising with how many new faces had shown up after the fact. But it was a good addition. The room could always use more pretty girls. He didn't want to say anything because her question was directed to Kasuke. So he just looked forward and waited for her to answer.

Roy had been thinking about how much of a presence the principal had in the cafeteria, the man wasn’t even using a quarter of his power but rendered the students almost useless. Roy was still shaking a bit but was smiling at the same time, he wanted to be that powerful one day. The boy ran up a flight of stairs as he read the room number for Culinary, it wasn’t too too far from the cafeteria. He walked past a large window that gave a view of the back of the Academy, you could see the boarding house as well as a large open field. It was relieving to go from being couped up to in a hospital to so much freedom and practicing his dream. He turned the corner and closed his eyes as he took in a deep breath soaking in the moment and the sun, he was about to reach 50% energy. That should be enough for now Roy put his cloak back on, it was a specially made one that wasn’t just any regular piece of cloth. It blocks out light completely, effectively preventing Roy from overcharging.

Roy turned a corner and saw some familiar people, well at least the back of them. It was Jett, Mina, and Kaida. They were all walking together in the same direction that Roy was heading, maybe they had Culinary as well. Roy called out to Jett, “Mr. Hotshot” He said waving a hand in the air. The boy began picking up his pace to get closer to the group as they were some ways down the corridor. “Do you all have Culinary as well?” he said as he got closer to the group having a small hopeful grin.

Mina noticed Roy, and nodded. There was some underlying current of respect between the two. Mina let Jett do the talking, though, and she wasn’t in the mood.

Jett raised his eyebrow at someone calling out mr. Hotshot. He glanced back to see no one but Roy waving his hand at him. He wondered why he called him that. But he simply nodded at Roys question. “Yes we are all in it.” He said in a soft tone. He was surprised that Roy would be taking this course. He had a few reasons himself, the one he told Kasuke about, the other was because the class would have most likely more girls in it. And when a girl saw you knew how to cook. It opened so many doors. Perhaps Roy knew this as well.

He glanced at Kasuke, wondering if he should say anything to her. Unsure of still of what had happened and if she was really mad at him. He decided it was best to just wait for a better opportunity. However at this exact moment he heard his phone beep. Pulling it out he quickly checked and had a big smile come on his face. If Kasuke was able to see She would have seen a picture of him and Lady Obsidian posing together. He saved the picture and quickly looked up 'the idiot General' under his contacts and sent a message with that picture attached. Look who I was finally able to meet! by the way, where are you?! . He sent the message and slipped the phone back into his back pocket

Kaida had frowned when Jett walked to the other side of Mina, She was hoping to walk next to him, as he had a warmer body. Not like Roy’s but still. After Mina would give her answer, Kaida would hear Roy calling out someone. Realizing they were the only ones in the hall at that moment, she figured out that he was speaking to Jett. As he answered she cocked her head to the left and wondered. If he was called a Hotshot… was he one of the more popular guys at school? Was he already that Impressive in his skills to receive that nickname? He did seem like he would be that type of guy. Strong, confident and handsome. Not that she really knew, she only heard about this stuff.

She looked at Roy. “You are taking it as well?”

Roy was a little relieved that he had interesting people in his next class, he pulled his cloak around him a bit tighter so he could contain the heat a little bit. Jett didn’t seem to react much to the boys nicknaming at all, he probably wouldn’t even mind getting called that from now on. He then turned to Kaida as she ask if Roy was in it as well. “Yeah. It's sort of something I always wanted to take but never exactly got a chance to because of personal reasons” He didn’t have a problem explaining to the group the reason behind it but he’d rather not bring the mood down for everybody.

“I'm not particularly a pro though I am not a bad at it either” he said scratching the side of his head. He used to help his mother make dinner all the time before the hospital visits began, it was like their little time of peace as well as escape from the problems they had, Roy gripped his cloak tighter at the thought. “But on a better note, It's good to know you didn’t make any violent actions in the cafeteria. Mr.Hisakawa came in and made a..’statement’.” There was emphasis on statement, “Moral of the story, I wouldn’t get on his bad side” The boy said as he joined caught up to the rest of the group.

He noticed that Mina didn't look like she was in the best of moods, her body language gave off that sorta Aura. “Why the long face, Kasuke?” Roy asked the girl, though he was unsure if he would get the response he wanted.

Jett glanced at Kasuke as as Roy asked this. He hoped she would open up as he wasn't a mind reader. But he doubted he would get some useful information out of her like that. Girls tended to say things were ‘FINE’ and expected someone to understand what they meant. He figured it must be the French thing. But he might be way off base.

Looking Kasuke directly in the eyes. “Perhaps it was because I spoke to Kaida in French, if it was I am sorry I left your out. It was Rude of me. I just got excited to speak in French.”

”That’s part of it,” Mina answered, sighing and looking a little less annoyed at the world, softening a little. ”Thanks for apologizing, Jett. And Roy, don’t worry about it. I won’t give you the always-worrying ‘nothing’s wrong’, but I’ll be fine. Thanks for the concern.”

Mina didn’t feel she had the energy to stay mad at Jett. In fact, when she stopped trying to be, she discovered that she wasn’t in the slightest, which begged the question; why was she trying to be? Even she didn’t know. She just knew that it had something to do with Kaida. But even looking at it logically, all she’d done wrong is ‘Um’ed and ‘Ahh’ed, and got Jett’s attention. He hadn’t wronged Mina. She hadn’t slighted her. There was just something about Kaida that rubbed Mina up the wrong way. She’d have to ignore it. She was a member of the Kasuke family and she would conduct herself as such.

When Jett asked was it because he was talking to Kaida in French Roy raised an eyebrow. It turned into a cheeky smile when Mina said part of that was the reason. For being left out he got a reaction out of Mina, someone who liked being on her own most of the time, Roy tried to hide his smile.

“I don't speak French either but I do know Italian fluently” he turned to Mina. “Are you perhaps mixed with anything else other than Japanese?” He asked tilting his head.

Mina thought for a second.”Anything other than Japanese? Well, I can speak high school English, but there hasn’t been a great need for me to be multilingual in the past.” having just said this, she got an idea, and turned to Jett. ”Could you teach me French? Or your grandfather. But he taught my mom.” She ended the request right there, as if teaching her mom made sense as a valid and logical reason to not want to learn from him, but from her outburst at Dulga, it was clear she had some kind of mom issue.

Jett nodded, surprised that he actually got part of the reason right. But he was glad that he could visibly tell that Kasuke was a bit calmer now. One hole dug out of pretty quickly. Lucky him. “ Of course, Kasuke, I don't want to accidentally insult you by the things I do. If I do please I want you to tell me..” he smiled before he looked to Roy as he explained that he could speak Italian. He didn't see the Italian in him, but what did he know.

Kasuke then explained she knew high school English. All he knew was some swear words. A thing a Frenchman must know. He actually had the thought of offering to teach her some french if she wanted.

She suddenly turned to him and asked for that very thing! He had a soft smile and bowed his head a good deal. “I would be honored to teach you some French Kasuke. I was actually about to offer, as well. “ If it meant some alone time with Kasuke he gladly would teach her every word in the dictionary. It sounded she would rather it be him as well. Which only made him smile more. He was also appreciative that she didn't mention him as the Frenchman. Just as his Grandfather. He was sure that she felt the same way about her mother, he was sure she was a pro hero, obviously as his grandfather taught her, but he didn't know or ask which one she was.

The blonde boy tilted his head towards the ground slightly as he listened in on the two. Trying his best not to ruin the moment, it was funny to the boy because he didn't expect things to take this route. He was eager to see Mina's response to Jett, it was engaging to watch from a back seat. Understanding and observing others was something the boy has done for years. That and a lot of Tv can help with guessing why one would react a certain way, Roy had a good guess why.

Kaida watched as the Jett apologize for leaving Kasuke out of the conversation, she was quiet as they spoke a bit surprised really. She was one to always apologize, but in all honesty, Jett had no reason to apologize. They spoke for less than a minute in French and SHE was MAD? She blinked a few times, she could tell she was from a rich home like her, but she seemed to be a bit on the spoiled side. She didn't know why Jett a sweet man like him would tolerate her. It only goes to show how good of a guy he really was.

Then Roy went on to say that he spoke fluent Italian. Which was interesting to say the least. If he had said Greek he would had gained her full attention. As Greece was where her mother was from.

Mina then decided to ask Jett to teach her French. As much as she loved the thought of people wanting to learn her language. She felt that perhaps there was an ulterior motive to her asking Jett. She frowned a bit, she may not have hit on many boys… any actually. Nor has anyone really flirted with her, but this was a clear what Mina was trying to do. A simple request to take up his spare time for herself. She was going to ask Jett for some lessons in Japanese, as she could actually use some. She still had much to learn. But Mina… she did it cause Jett could and didn't want to be left out.

She sighed and looked at Roy, who was just standing there waiting for an answer from Mina, she didn't want to interrupt, despite not liking where this was going.

Mina was actually surprised that Jett was about to suggest he teach her French. Then it occurred to her that me might have been lying to impress her, and it struck her as odd that she immediately believed him. Her, with her healthy scepticism of people. There was no ulterior motive in her request, which was oddly pure for her. She actually simply wished not to be left out of conversations between Jett and Kaida. She was a pretty girl and Jett was the kind of boy who needed protecting from himself wherever pretty girls were involved. Why was this her job? Well, it had to be someone’s.

After such a large pause, Mina almost felt embarrassed responding ”You were? Oh, well, thank you!” Great. Now she was almost ‘um’ing and ‘ahh’ing. What was wrong with her? And what was wrong with Kaida? She’d suddenly gone rather long in the face. It wasn’t because of something Mina did, was it? If it was her own icy and snappy attitude, why did it take her this long? No, there must be another reason.

Roy picked his head back looked forward before peeking out the corner of his eye at Kaida, who was now the one who looked down in the dumps. The two had been walking behind Jett and Mina, the blonde boy tilted his head before pushing his cloak back giving him more movement for his hands. He held his right hand out in front of Kaida, slowly constructing a miniature hospital room in the palm of his hand using his quirk, the cloaked boy dulled the lighting on the construct so that it was much less stressful on the eyes. Roy took his left hand and placed it over the constructed scenery, it played the part in giving definition to the short story about to be told.

Soon monitors as well as a life support system was molded, into the scene following a boy appearing in the hospital bed sleeping. the boy had short hair and lacked a mouth as well. On the life support monitor you could see his heart rate gradually slowing down. Soon two more characters came through a door on the north side of the hospital room, one in a lab coat who small eyes another with long hair and a slightly curvy body symbolizing that she was a women.
Their heads were moving side to side representing them talking to each other as the young boy slept. Soon the doctor left the room and the mother walked over to the boy who was asleep, you could see tears coming out of her eyes as they fell on top of the boy before disappearing into the rest of the scene. Roy then swirled his left hand over the construct, a yellow wind came and blew the scene away before moving onto showing a calendar flipping through years starting from 2014 to 2017. A boy with shaggy hair was being shown with a cloak who was meant to represent Roy himself, there was also many other characters there too with their defining features. Ezra being taller than the others, Acion and his wings, Donny looking much more rounder than the rest and their teacher being representing by a tie and glasses. The girls were represented with their long hair.

He showed the battle when Roy and Ezra faced off against Lysander and they escaped the crumbling and how Ezra knocked Lysander out with a punch to the back of the head. Roy began smiling when construct Roy flung his hands into the air at what construct Ezra did. He face then got slightly red with embarrassment as he showed when he was fighting with Mina, construct Mina was much shorter and had pig tails.

He showed how she blinded him by making her characters radiances as well as construct Roy covering his eyes. Soon it came to the part where Mina kicked Roy in the head though he made it look much more dramatic, giving a good representation of what it felt like. Construct Mina took a running head start before leaping into the air with a flying kick right into the side of construct Roys head sending him flying a few yards back into the ground before laying on the ground and waving a flag saying he surrendered.

Roy swirled his hand over the construct making a new scene of Construct Roy looking at the ground all alone before, soon one one by one all the characters becoming popping behind the boy, representing the friends he has made. It then came to the part where it was lunch time and he was walking with Ezra and they bumped into a girl symbolizing Kaida by her much longer hair and good posture. It showed everything that had happened from lunch leading up, Roy changed the scene one last time showing construct Kaida sitting on a park bench alone looking sad. Construct Roy came walking along, slowing down as he almost walked past her befores stopping and walking up to the girl with his hands behind his back before pulling a Rose out from it and handing it to the girl. The construct going up in a small flash and dissipating, the small particles glittered brightly around the two before Roy held out a extremely defined Rose construct in front of Kaida. He was careful not to use too much energy and burn her though, it felt like holding a freshly made cookie. The rose would hold its form for a couple of minutes before dissipating completely.

“You have beautiful smile. So please smile more.” He said softly as his sea green eyes met hers, Roy had a smile on his face as he spoke and held out the rose for her.

Kaida was pulled out of her thoughts by Roy trying to show her something. She was confused at first, wondering what and why he was doing this. She was going to ask, but decided against it when she realized that the boy in the hospital room was him. It seemed kinda odd he would share that part of his life story with her randomly. Though while paying attention to Roy, she did see how so slightly Mina was flustered by Jett admitting he was going to offer to teach it to her.
It was almost night and day how she acted with Jett and how she acted with her, and a little with Roy. It was clear Jett meant a little more to the girl, Even though she tried to hide it, and hid it well. In the short time she spent with them.

Roy’s little show continued, she saw partly what happened earlier that day, though she did not understand much of the context she did recognize a few people. So she knew it was today. She could not help but giggle when he showed the part of him being kicked in the head from Mina, clear from the pigtails, but she giggled at the part where he raised the ‘white flag’.

it came to the part when he met her with Ezra. Though he did show the part of her falling, and she did not like reliving that memory a bit. But it was interesting to see how Roy did do it stop her from getting dirty. Then it came to a scene where it showed her Sad on a park bench. She was confused now. This didn’t happen… she watched as the little Roy stopped and pulled a flower from behind him and gave it to her. Her cheeks had a slight hint of rose on them when she saw this. Still confused. It all disappeared in a flash and it seemed as if the stars themselves were falling around the both of them. She was distracted for a second, only to realize he was now holding rose in his hands that was so detailed it looked real.

Her eyes wide as she didn’t know why he was doing this, she pulled back a little as she was unfamiliar with the situation, but she did reach out when he offered the rose and took it in her hand without hesitation of the heat she felt coming off of it. For any normal girl they would have gotten slightly burned from the heat, not enough to actually leave a first degree burn. But enough to smart. She took it though and it clearly showed that the heat did not even bother her.

She looked back to Roy after holding the rose close to her face to feel the warmth as he then finally said something. Which caused her to turn even more red. Not as much as she did when Jett called her a beautiful angel, but still bright cherry red. She did smile at it though. She was so lucky to find such nice people...for the most part. But being called beautiful and having a beautiful smile in a ten minute span from those she just really met was amazing. She didn’t know what to say.

“T-thank you Roy.” Was all she could muster before looking away shyly. She held the rose close to her and gently in her palm completely covered the petals, as they gave off the most heat. Her mind was now filled with thoughts of the two boys and their kind words. How was she to deal with this?

Jett had a soft smile as noticed the long pause and the change in the way she spoke when she said Thank you. She seemed just slightly flustered after taking a moment to reply. Wait was that the first time she said thank you to him? He liked it, alot. Sure it was just for teaching her French, but it was still something. “You're welcome.Thank you for asking. It means a lot.” He said with a big smile.

It did mean a lot actually, the fact she asked him to teach her, when she was a strong independent lady showed that she trusted him enough to take on that personal role. Where he was sure she could get any real teacher she wanted and had a teaching degree. Was it because he trusted her enough with his medical issues to have her there when Nurse Explained his problem. Not something one would just let a girl they liked listen in, or anyone for that matter. The fact also that she tried to give him a smile after the news, as he remembered thinking back to that moment. There was a much softer side to her that he wanted to find. As much as he loved her strong side.

He was so caught up in his thoughts and while walking he missed what Roy was doing behind them, only to catch the rose he created and handed to Kaida. To be expected with such a beautiful girl like her. He did find it odd that he didn't suddenly feel the need to try and one up a slick move as soon as possible.

He shook his head smiled as they came to the door where Culinary Arts was. He stepped ahead of Kasuke and opened the door for her and Kaida. He watched them walk through and quickly followed in with a smooth motion moving ahead of Roy, but still keeping the door open for him to walk in.

There were tables with four stools on one side, he quickly passed the girls again to get an open table and pulled out two of the stools, strategically with one in between them for two reasons. One, they seemed to not quite get along. Two, so he could sit between them!

Roy watched as her face got red, he was genuinely happy that he had snapped Kaida out of her gloom. She took the rose and held it really close, Roy’s eyes widened at this. It seemed like she was not bothered at all by the heat that Roy generates, his face grew slightly red.Not many people really could handle the heat from his constructs or his body though this girl from france handled it with no problem, this made the boy's curiosity peak of exactly who she was.

Kaida thanked the boy before turning her head away, her face even redder than before. She couldn’t even look back at the boy in the moment because of how she was blushing. “Your welcome” he said back softly before turning his head as they reached the culinary room. Jett opened the door for Mina and Kaida before walking in front of Roy and holding the door open, Roy didn’t understand why he was doing this until the got into the classroom and Jett fixed the seats so he could sit in between them. Roy just smiled and rolled his eyes before taking off his cloak and folding it before placing it on a rack in the back of the classroom.

As he walked back to the table he rolled up his sleeves as he prepared for what was to happen in the culinary class. The tattoos on his arms visible for all to see, as he walked back to group at the table, he took the last seat on the left of the table next to Kaida. A smile still on his face as he inwardly laughed to himself on how Jett placed himself in between the two. Roy had a front row to seat to spectate, as long as he didn’t upset either girl he had no problem with the seating arrangement.

ACION
AURELIA

Acion listened to Kenichi's hush as he chuckled and replied.

"I want them to know their place in this world, where they belong: A pathetic bum. And if they are not going to figure it out by themselves, then your so called 'high-and-mightiest' will be of use. They will not be able to do any harm to us, because the teachers are coming to us soon. It's all in my calculation."

The moment he finished that sentence, he suddenly felt his own body weighing less and less on the ground, as he was lifted of all gravitational effects upon him. And in front of his eyes, the principal, who had given his class reviews on the previous combat session, bursted through the door, the countenance on his face a stark contrast to his expressions back in class. And it was not just himself who was lifted into the air, all the other students, including Roy, Kenichi, suffered the same fate.

Acion was surprised by the sudden entrance, but he wasn't in the position to be caught off-guard. He knew his sister would pull someone like the principal to deal with the situation. She was Komei's graduates after all. She knew everything around.

The winged boy had no problem stabilizing himself mid-air, but he figured that resisting would be an ill choice, especially the one standing in front of him was the Gravity Yarl. So he simply watched his rant and orders, as he let the group of students down afterwards. Acion had been expecting this. There's no way he would let things go unpunished. Somebody would be called, sooner or later.

Acion simply didn't care about it. This was too pointless for him to squander his attention any further. He didn't have much to do with it, aside from the small fact that he did try to provoke them at the end. He did admit getting a little bit carried away by the time, but part of it was justified. They deserved those words thrown at them. If he was called for it, his sister and Roy would be able to back him up, since he participated in resolving it. If he said anything about insulting, just admit it. If he committed wrongdoings, then why should he cover it? It wasn't too serious. He still had to learn.

Shaking his head as he moved past the cafeteria entrance, he was met with her sister, who was rushing back here in a hurry.

"Dear...Acion, are you alright?"

"I'm ok. At least it did not escalate into a full on fight that is."

"Geez, you worried me."

"You are the one who insist me on going there sister."

"No I did not! Well, I'm glad you are fine. So what are you going to do now?"

"Elective class. It's Hero Gear. Something I think is necessary for my destiny."

Aurelia's face frowned. However, she was in no position to be surprised over it. He's always that way.

"Well, get yourself a go now. I'll be departing soon." She said.

"Wait, so you're leaving now?"

The Sky Defender, or Acion's dearest sister, simply smiled lightly at her brother's clueless expression. He clearly didn't want her to go.

"I have to. The sky needs my wings."

Seeing that he was being much less of a foolish religious follower and a god role player, more of a little brother who desired more than anything to spend times with his family really worth a smile. She returned his expression with a touch of palms.

"I'll not be far away anymore, Acion. Believe me. You can assure yourself that I will be above you. Always. Keep that in mind, train hard, and one day you'll be a true Sky Knight. Perhaps...the Sky Interceptor maybe?" She giggled at the reference that she made herself. Boy she really loved that series.

"A Sky Knight..." Acion gave a thought on that. It wasn't what he thought God would bestow upon him. But still, being a Sky Knight...it wasn't so bad. All in all it was still a heroes group, doing heroic deeds. And besides...

"I'll keep that in mind. He replied. "But my name won't be Sky Interceptor. It is and will always be Arch Angel."

Oh god...

Perhaps he should fix that above everything else before he could be admitted into Sky Knight

"I get it... She said with a deep sigh. "Well, I'll see you around...little bro." After finishing that, she turned to walk out of the cafeteria, her pace quickened, but not before Acion said his own goodbye, with a smile, and a hand wave.

'We'll meet again soon, right?'

He left the cafeteria with that in mind.

'Now what's next? Hero Gear? Let's embark.'

With the box of armor he picked up earlier after the principal's rage, he paced out of the cafeteria as well, getting himself ready for the next class.

Ezra

Ezra had been sitting out for the remainder of his lunch. He was glad that he had that conversation with Mako, and he'd found himself a new friend of sorts, at least somebody that he could stand in conversation. She was strange to him, in a way, he felt as if she empathised with him particularly well, almost as if she had dealt with the same background yet he had known that she hadn't judging by her accent and other mannerisms. His back and butt were sore from sitting down for so long, it was almost a relief when he had gotten up. But that feeling of happiness wouldn't last very long, at least due to the situation that he was about to find himself in.

He had been called to the principles office. Partly, he had been glad this had happened because he was unsure of what to do in the circumstances, and didn't know if returning to class without an official statement would have been a good idea, but the negative side certainly outweighed that. He had injured a student for certain, and whilst Mako had told him that he wasn't fucked, he certainly had that feeling. Ezra knew that he never got nervous, but he was still upset about the situation that he had found himself in, and definitely wasn't a fan of it.

Realising there wasn't a way out, and facing the consequences was much more preferable than being a coward, he made his way over to the principles office. He hadn't been through the school before, but he had remembered the layout of the map, since he figured it useful information and quickly found himself at his destination. With no hesitation and clarity in his mind, he knocked on the door of the office and waited for the man to respond, realising that he should speak in a much more formal tone in this regard. Whilst the guy didn't seem particularly nasty by the way he spoke at the analysis of their combat during the training exercise, he did have a tone that he recognised through the loudspeaker and that immediately spoke to him as something to be wary of.

Dulga Tarata

Dulga's eyes widen when Luelle mentioned she fought off a villain already. First day of school and she already defeated a bad guy? Even if she did have Kaida's help, the two certainly had a better start to their careers than some of the other students. It made Dulga wonder what sort of powers these two had to be able to do that. Or perhaps the villain they fought was weak, who knows. Wasn't long until Kaida came out in a new uniform and thanked Dulga for the cloak. As usual, the girl said nothing and merely nodded her head. Lunch was almost over so Kaida ran off. Dulga herself tried to remember what her next class was when Mamoru suddenly arrived and started talking. This annoyed Dulga, but she didn't say anything about it. At least Mamoru had it in her mind to head to her next class, however Dulga was fairly certain they didn't have the same class together.

"The next class is electives. Everyone got to choose their own. So unless you chose target practice, I don't think we have the same class together."

Dramatically fluttering her cloak Dulga turned around to leave. She needed to get her guns and ammo for her next class. Before she left she did at least say goodbye. It was proper manners. "It was nice meeting you, Luelle and Mamoru. I'm sure I'll see you two again soon." Dulga went to her dorm to pick up her equipment. Guns were hard to get in Japan, mostly thanks to everyone having a quirk. Your average thug with a gun wouldn't last long against a professional hero, and anyone with a useful quirk wouldn't need a gun in the first place. However Dulga was different than most when it came to firearms. While she knew that her quirk's great strength and flexibility would make her a monster in melee, she used guns because her mother did. It was how she taught Dulga how to fend for herself; by keeping her distance and only taking a shot when she was certain it would strike. There was a certain strength in guns that you couldn't get with a quirk. It was a great equalizer; even if you could breath fire, fly through the skies, and tear apart buildings with your bare hands, a bullet in the lungs could still kill you.

Dulga went to her next class carrying her school bag and a large, black hard-plastic case. It was sealed with a rather complicated looking like that not only used a coded tumbler, but also a key and even fingerprint scanner. It was her mother's gun case, and she was very protective of her equipment. This extended to Dulga too. She couldn't even open this case until recently, due to her father's approval and permission with Komei. In a way, Dulga was happy. Holding her mother's guns made Dulga feel warm and safe. Like being hugged by her mom. It nearly brought a tear to Dulga's eyes, but she kept her feelings in check as she walked into class. So far it looked like she was the only one there. No teachers either, though the chalkboard made it clear that Dulga was in the right place: Hero Gadgets.

Mr.Hisakawa

Mr.Hisakawa had walked straight to his office in order to prepare for his talk with Ezra, he popped his Suit Jacket on a coat rack before preparing a to sitdown and talk to the young boy, he heard a knock on his door. The principal took a deep breath before opening the door looking the boy square in the eye, his face was stern and unwavered.

"Please come in Mr.Jazekade." He said as he opened his door and signaled his hand to take a seat, closing the door and following Ezra to take a seat on one of the chairs.

"Now Mr.Jasekade, I know by the look on your face that you knew this was coming and I am glad to see that you have cooled off.
You must also be aware that that you injured a student because of your blind rage, i'll tell you from personal experience that losing your temper so easily isn't only dangerous to those around you but you yourself.
Mr.Hisakawa leaned forward in his chair."I Know exactly how tempting it is to just bash someones face in, I used to have a really short temper too. I just have more tolerance nowadays. He said chuckling, he had cooled down significantly than before. He didn't talk down to Ezra or nothing but more so tried to sympathize with him.

"Im gonna tell you something, I wasn't supposed to end up a hero. The only reason I was born to be a villains super weapon, out of quirk Marriage. You and I have vast power at our fingertips thats why we must be extra careful when we are angered because we can case casualties" The principal stood up after this.

"So please try hold your anger together, next time I wont let you go so easily." The principal said with a smile, "With that being said, as your principal I still have to discipline you. As your Punishment you must clean the cafteria afterschool and make it spotless I suggest you change out of your uniform before doing so. Come to my office afterschool and i'll hand you a key to the janitors closet where there are cleaning supplies and replacement furniture. Go ahead and head to your elective, I hope to see you afterschool

It had been almost ten minutes since Yoshida left. A normal person probably would have assumed that he wasn't coming back. And yet, Fumika was still sitting out on the back veranda of the cafeteria. She could have just as easily left. After all, she'd long since finished eating, and, in fact, she probably should have departed. After all, cooking class was next on her schedule, and it would be starting any minute...

But she didn't think about any of those things. After all, Yoshida had said to "excuse him for a moment." "For a moment" implied that his departure would only be temporary, right? That meant he had basically asked her to stay there. He had said he was willing to be her friend. It would be mean to leave one's friend behind. If she left, she'd be being mean. But she wasn't supposed to miss class, either, especially on the first day... She was supposed to do her best, otherwise she might not succeed at becoming a hero. If she didn't become a hero, Haruka would be disappointed in her. In that case, what was she supposed to do? Her blue eyes darted between the entrance and the table in front of her as she weighed her options. No matter what, she didn't want to disappoint either Yoshida or Haruka... But she'd have to choose between her goal and her new friend, anyway? There clearly wasn't any right answer to be found.

This was why, above all else, Fumika hated having to choose for herself.

Ayato Kamina

This day had been crazy. Sure Kamina heard that Kosei Academy was the best and had some interesting teaching methods, but this was insane. Even more insane than the teachers was the students. He didn't think that the top quirks in the country also meant the top weirdos. Well, now he was one of these weirdos, so maybe he should just embrace it. He'd never imagined that so much drama could arise in one day. Didn't anyone know how to control themselves? Even lunch wasn't safe. Whatever, he ate most of his lunch and was pretty full anyways, before the drama ruined the rest of his lunch.

The next two periods started soon. He was pretty interested in all of them, but he already knew what he was picking. There was still some time before Hero Gear started, but he didn't have anything better to do, so he just left lunch and headed off to class. He was the second one in the classroom, but the board made it pretty evident this was the right place. There was one other person here already. It was the girl with six arms. She had a couple of weird cases that didn't look like anything he'd seen before. They had some high-tech locks though. Kamina got a little excited that someone sort of normal was here. At least, he thought she was pretty normal. Maybe, they were weird for not trying to be dramatic or worrying about friends. If he was going to try and be even acquaintances with anyone, she seemed nice. He went inside with nothing but his school bag. His wisps were hidden in his bag at the time. "Hey, I'm Ayato." He felt sort of awkward, but felt he should say more than just that. It was friendly, right? "Do you mind if I ask what's in the case? Were we supposed to bring extra things to this class?" 'Great, now you like an invasive idiot. Just shut up and don't make it any worse.' He chastised himself in his head after he thought he made a bad first impression. He didn't think it could have gotten any worse, until a small purple woman came out of his bag. "Awww, is Kamina making a friend?" "Not now", he said putting his head on his desk. "Don't treat me like that." The purple spirit scolded him. Kamina just ignored her. "Fine, but I'm not going back in the bag." She sat down on his shoulder farther away from Dulga. "You need me now anyways." She whispered in his ear. It might have sort of been true, but it annoyed him nonetheless. He was ready to get through this day.

Kaida Baeumont Kasuke Mina

Kaida looked to Jett when he opened the door, She smiled sweetly and said,, before following Mina into the room. Before she could even decide where to sit, Jett had picked out a table for them and was pulling out their chairs. She raised an eyebrow, did Many guys do this? She looked around at the other males who were standing around or chatting with their friends. None of which made it a priority to be a Gentleman. She moved to a seat where she could sit next to both Roy and Jett and sat down, Looking up at Jett once again with a smile as she held the flower in her lap. He took off his coat and placed it on his chair before walking away to do something. She looked to Mina. “Is he always like that? So Charming?”

Mina glanced at Kaida, then glanced at Jett, then nodded at Kaida. ”Yes, though I think that says more about the other boys in the class than it does about him.” There Mina goes again. Negativity. Pomp. Bitchiness. The saddest part is, this is just what she’s like in a fairly neutral mood. This is Mina. And Jett apparently likes her?

She cocked her head to to the side as mentioned how it says more about the other boys. She could somewhat understand her meaning...but she was sure that they were good in their own sense. She played with the rose in her hands. At least Roy was. Why was Jett hanging around her she couldn’t tell.

She then said, while leaning closer to Mina, while pulling the rose close to her stomach. “So… are you...and Jett together?” She wondered..maybe that’s why he was with her? Something of a history behind them maybe.

Mina blushed and stammered with her words for a moment. Her eyes looked like they were going to pop out of her head. She calmed down enough to be able to speak with dignity, though she was still bright red. ”No. No, we’re not together.” The picture was starting to get clearer, from this kind of cute display of tsundere.

She frowned. Her head tilting to the side again. It didn’t make sense then. But she did notice how red she got and how wide her eyes were when she asked that question. It was clear that she struck a cord. She did smile though as she found out Jett was available. But it was clear Mina liked him, “Oh...ok. I was just wondering.” She looked over at Jett with her hand on her chin. “Were you guys just close friends then?”

Mina’s cheeks were beginning to wind down to their natural color. Mina leaned back. She was calm again. ”I wouldn’t even go that far. We just met today. Jett’s...he’s harmless, really.”

Kaida asked. She didn't understand what she meant. But she sat back in her chair and watched as more students filed in. She then asked her final question. As she could tell by how she only answered her questions she didn't want to be spoken too.

”I mean he...sort of irritates and annoys me but also sort of doesn’t. Does that make sense?” Mina asked, then looked at the class coming in as if the answer to that question didn’t interest her.

Kaida moved back into her seat. It was clear that the girl was done talking with her. That's fine… she found out Jett was available. And that she found out he annoyed and irritated her but not at the same time. that was confusing. But she wanted to get to know Jett all the more now because of that. He did not seem to be annoying or irritating. Clearly Mina did not deserve his friendship if she did not appreciate him.

It was around this time the rose disappeared in her hand. She fround at the lack of heat now.

Yukari Yozakura

Walking out of her dorms, Yukari felt refreshened. She had used her lunch time to take a nap after her meal, and she was ready for the rest of the day. Even though most of the more action-oriented classes were already over Yukari wanted to be prepared for anything. One can never be too careful at this school for superheroes! Ask Yukari changed into her school uniform, she grabbed her cane as she left. While she was capable of walking around without it, it helped people realize that Yukari was in fact blind. Too often people shoved things into her face that she couldn’t really say anything about for obvious reasons. She’d get glasses too, but Yukari didn’t like using glasses. They never stayed on her face whenever she was doing her acrobatics.

If her schedule was right, Yukari’s next class was one of her electives, Hero Gadgets. She was excited to learn what sort of tools heroes would use to fight crime; most she’s heard about generally only rely on their quirks, but a few impressive ones also had weapons and equipment that made them as powerful as those with good quirks. And for someone like Yukari, who has often used ribbons and batons in her performances, she’d love to learn something similar to help her fight crime. Perhaps a whip or lasso to tie up her enemies, or her own lion! A girl could dream.

By the time she arrived to class there was already two other people here. She could tell because she heard someone talking to another, so unless this person was a weirdo who only spoke to himself, there was probably someone else in class too. Yukari’s cane clicked on the floor as she approached the voices and tried to introduce herself. "Hello there. My name is Yozakura Yukari. Is this the Hero Gadget Class?" She smiled sweetly in the general direction of the other two. Hopefully they were nice people.

Mamoru Akasha

”Okay, bye! See ya later!” Mamoru waved Dulga as she left. It was just her and Luelle now. ”My next class is Hero Gadgets and after that Villain Psych. I dunno what you’re going to do but hey, let’s meet after school or something! We can hang out and stuff. In fact I could try to introduce you to the rest of my friends! I mean I’m sure you’ll meet them all eventually, but nothing like a little pow wow yeah?!” More and more students began to fill the hall, slowly separating the two girls. Before she too was swept up by the waves of students Mamoru gave her new friend one more final wave goodbye. ”I’ll catch you later Luelle! I’ll call you!”

Mamoru’s next class was Hero Gadgets. Mamoru already used a few gadgets herself such as her ballistic rubber balls. She saw them in a catalogue. The police used these specialized rubber balls to suppress prison riots. Granted, they used them in concussion grenades, but Mamoru figured if she threw a handful of these at someone that would give them a concussion too. But this was just one tool out of many Mamoru hoped to use. She had no delusions about her quirk; while her shield was powerful it didn’t really do anything to improve Mamoru herself. Like a Fighter in D&D she needed equipment and smarts to overcome stronger enemies. Sure she’d learn more techniques as she went to Komei too, but learning how to hit harder or take a hit can only do so much whenever you’re fighting a nigh invincible, super speedy, flying, or invisible enemy. Mamoru could train herself as much as she wants, she knew that skill alone wasn’t going to be enough to take on everyone. Thus she needed equipment to cover her weaknesses.

As Mamoru looked for her room the halls started to thin out as more students went to their next classes. She found her class soon enough, though it looked like a regular classroom. Maybe once class started they’ll move somewhere else? Mamoru hoped that they didn’t have to sit through more lectures. While it would be understandable because this was the first day of school and all, Mamoru wanted to keep doing more hands on stuff. She was a practical learner. As Mamoru entered the class she was pleasantly surprised to know that she was one of the first student's to arrive. She had expected to be late with how few students were in the hall but there were only three here right now. There was Dulga and two other students Mamoru didn’t remember seeing before.

”Hiya! I didn’t expect to see you so soon!” Mamoru said to Dulga as she took a seat near the front. As for the other two Mamoru turned towards them and extended her hand to them. Mamoru was unaware that one of them was blind. ”Akasha Mamoru! Nice to meet ya.” Mamoru tried to guess what the other two’s quirk were. She could tell the boy had something to do with spirits, if that purple little ghost on his shoulder wasn’t just a trick. Perhaps he could channel the souls of the dead? That sounded awesome. The other girl Mamoru wasn’t too sure, but she had a cane. So Mamoru guessed she was some sort of sword fighter. Perhaps she could turn her cane into a weapon, or a snake. She heard of people who could do that.

Donny Yang

It was an uneventful walk to the cooking class. There was some talk about what happened at the cafeteria, but either people didn’t care or knew better than to talk about it. No one seemed to have paid much attention which, oddly enough, concerned Donny. While he wasn’t normally the type of guy who’d demand the spotlight, he figured something like a fight in the cafeteria would be more topical. He worried if perhaps this school simply had an attitude about overlooking that sort of thing, fights between students. That sort of “Not my business” attitude was why Donny wanted to become a hero in the first place. Well, one of the reasons. He never liked hearing about problems he couldn’t do anything about. It just made him feel worse than he already does.

Which of course just made him feel worse knowing that during that entire fiasco, all Donny did was try to get the others to run away. It wasn’t as if he didn’t believe them, but at that moment Donny was just weak. He didn’t know what he was up against and he didn’t want his new friends to get into trouble he couldn’t get them out of. He was most worried about Ezra; while the others might’ve earned the ire of A2, Ezra hurt a kid and might even be in trouble with the principle. Donny had heard his name called over the intercoms. ”Alright then… Okay Donny. This is what you gotta do. First step in being a hero. Find Ezra, talk to him. Ask him what happened, see if you can help. You gotta do this man, you can’t back out now. You didn’t come here to pussy out.”

Eventually Donny arrived to the Culinary Arts class. While it was a bit odd why a school for superheroes had such a course, Donny wasn’t going to complain. He could already smell all the things he could try cooking. Not just sweets and desserts, though he wanted some of those. He thought about all sorts of stews and grilled goodies he could try to make. Juices and cocktails, minus the alcohol of course. Heroes or not, he doubts that the class would let them use anything with an alcohol content higher than 2%. At least not without teacher supervision. ”So no flambes.” As Donny settled in, he noticed Mina was in this class too. He hadn’t expected that; she seemed more the type to learn something practical, like Hero Gadgets. She was sitting with another girl too, Donny didn’t recognize her immediately, though he vaguely remembered seeing her at lunch. Wasn’t she sitting with Roy and Ezra?

Donny went to sit at a table near by, and as he walked pass he turned towards the Mina and the new girl. ”H-H-H-Hi, Kosuke-san… And h-hello to you too.” Donny bowed his head as he got his seat and looked around. He also noticed Jett and Roy in the class, so Donny waved at them too. He wondered what if everyone in A1 was going to be here. As Donny took his seat he seemed more relaxed, more in his element. He couldn’t wait to start cooking.

ACION

'Thoughts'
"Spoken lines"

Hero Gadgets, huh?...

In all honesty, it wouldn't be needed for his current position, but a necessary preparation for what was to come. Up until now, Acion had always been relying on quirks to deal with his opponents. Specifically, his ability to achieve air superiority was a little too important concerning his effectiveness. Relying on quirks wasn't entirely bad for a hero, but if the situation robbed away that ability to handle that quirk, one would not fare very well. And that was unacceptable for someone like Acion. Even in the direst of situations, one must be able to handle it well enough to revert to his or her specialty, or at least to something he could confidently tackle with. And that was why the winged boy here decided to take Hero Gear as his elective class. He was on his right way, the path to true professional heroism, to his great destiny. And adequate preparation only served to straighten the road there.

Nevertheless, Acion couldn't help but think. What sort of equipment would he learn to use? Perhaps using some sort of guns that shoots webs or maybe traps and other sort of things. But personal weaponries and gadgets might also be taught. On that regards, what sort of weapons would this flying angel fits best? A sword was his preference, since he insisted on increasing his close combat capability. But firearms also weren't bad. He had always been a long and mid-ranged fighter, so why not?

As he got there, he'd noticed that the class was empty. Well, nearly empty. There were four other who arrived before him, two of which he recognized. The pink haired girl, and that six-armed woman.

'So soon we meet again...'

Tarata. Or he was informed so.

She was indeed a hostile one. To Acion at least. But usually, the one born so doubtful or nervous of others might turned out to harbor very good characteristic. And in this hero's academy, harbored good heroic traits. Reina was one that he recently found. No doubt.

Acion casted her a quick glance at Dulga, then to Mamoru, before looking at the other two. A pair of youngsters. He had never met them before, nor he had seen them in his class. Perhaps they were from different class. Whether this was true or he was just being ignorant of his surroundings, Acion did not care. Where they came from did not matter. What mattered was what within these individuals. Assuming that those in Komei were indeed notable hero potentials, the winged boy addressed them.

"It occurs to me that we are in the same class. Elective of course. It would be great pleasure to be harvesting knowledge with you two. My name is Acion Nakamiji. A student in A-1."

Dulga Tarata

Dulga sat in class and closed her eyes. Her nap was interrupted during lunch, and she lost her chance to continue after helping Kaida, but hopefully she could get a few winks while waiting for the Hero Gadget Class to start. She closed her eyes for maybe two or three minutes before someone called out to her. It was a boy she's never seen who introduced himself as Ayato. Before Dulga could even look at him he wanted to know what was in her case. "It was good while it lasted." Dulga sighed and looked at the boy from underneath her hood. She tugged her cloak closer to her body to hide her arms, though they were already seen. "I brought this for myself." Dulga said plainly. She wasn't keen on sharing her mother's weapons, and she knew if she told anyone what was inside they'd either freak out or demand to see it. While Dulga knew she couldn't keep it a secret for long, she wasn't going to let just anyone see it.

Shortly after more students came. A girl with long hair and a cane walked in, and Dulga immediately knew she was blind. Her quirk her skills must be very impressive if she could make it through the exam despite her disability. She introduced herself as Yozakura Yukari. Though to no surprise the girl might've been lost and wanted to know if this was the Hero Gadget Class. "It is." Shortly after Yukari arrived Mamoru entered the room. Dulga heard her before she saw her. The energetic girl gave Dulga a brief notice while she immediately went to talk to the other two. Suited Dulga just fine. She wasn't that much of a talker. And lastly Acion entered the room and this was when Dulga went back to sleep. She wasn't sure if she had bad luck or if that guy was following Dulga. She just hoped that this was a chance encounter and not something more sinister.

As everyone was chatting away Dulga crossed her legs and held onto her suitcase tightly with two hands. She wasn't going to let anyone mess with her mother's gun or there would be hell to pay. She could deal with stupid people, but anyone who tried to steal her few mementos from her mother would find a big hole where their face was. In the meantime Dulga hoped that class would start soon. Once she gets her baby in her hands she'd feel so much better.

JoJo

The walk from her living quarters to the actual school was uneventful not that she was complaining much, in fact the less things bothered her the better. Joann wasn’t exactly in the best of moods today because she had lost her favorite hat yesterday in a fight and was still pretty upset over it even though she won that scrap. Backpack hanging loosely from her leg, shoulder while her right arm lazily swung from side to side as she walked in her trademarked lean, barely paying too much attention to what was in front of her. Eyes half open just enough to recognize the fact it was the day time and the direction of her elective class ‘hero gear’ which was the only thing she could take that didn’t sound like too much of a pain like culinary arts, the fact she couldn’t actually cook had a lot to do with her decision, the thought brought a little grin to her face accompanied by a bead of sweat dripping down the side of her face.

Her cooking skills aside, she had to wonder what type of gaiety they were going to make in class, was it something that worked with their quirks or just some nonsense for them to get the feel of the process. After all, it was the first day and the first day of school tends to be nothing more than babies first whatever, honestly the more she thought about it the less she wanted to actually attend. The thought crossed her mind to just cut class and go right back to her project in her room, but she wasn’t actually going to act on it after all she’s only here because of her mother’s example and sacrifice.

It took a little bit, but eventually, she made it to her classroom of hero gear, she was exceptionally late, but that didn’t stop her from casually strolling in without much of a care. “Sorry, getting out of bed was harder today, lack of sleep and whatnot” she explained with a yawn, which wasn’t exactly a lie being that she’d been working on a mega size Gunpla for the past few days but anyone who knew her could accurately assume the cause was just general laziness. Joann claimed the seat right next to the door to minimize her time spent in class once the bell rang, dropped her backpack beside her and leaned back far in the chair, even with her odd sitting she could clearly see the teacher and everything on the board.

The Idiot General, Jett Haven

As Jett sat down in the classroom, his phone began to rustle about in his pocket, giving a quiet electronic ping as a message came in. Were he to examine the screen, a single line of text appeared alongside a familiar username.

Idiot General
Seriously? What kind of hero takes a photo-op with a villain?

The phone buzzed again as a new message shot up on the screen.

Idiot General
And that much aside, don’t tell me you’re still worshipping that masked drama queen. Your tastes in women are so weird.

The notification ”Idiot General is typing…” popped up for a few moments, then vanished again. Of the two things he’d sent, his question was the only thing that had gone unanswered.

This had came shortly after pulling out the seats for Kaida and Kasuke. He pulled his phone out and checked it. He had a giddy smile come onto his face as he pulled his jacket off and set it down, moving away from the girls and past Roy to the hall. He figured he could get a drink while replying. He did notice she was writing more so didn’t reply right away.

However, by the time he got his drink and looked down he noticed she did not finish answering his second question. He frowned at this…wondering why she was so hesitant on replying to him when it ever came to meeting up with her or talking about the academy. He leaned against the wall and stared at his screen. As if doing so would somehow get her to answer him. It still never would come. Sighing. He started to type his reply.

1. She is a reformed villain and come on. 2. Boy crushes die hard! She’s actually really nice!

He paused for a moment, Though I do agree with you on my taste in women is a bit odd, Makes sense I would hang out with you then. ;)

He wanted to broach the subject of why she didn’t say where she was, but he figured he would just try to get her to talk to him at first. He slowly made his way back to the classroom.

Her response was immediate. He could practically hear her voice yelling in his ear as the response flashed back onto his screen within seconds.

Idiot General
Just what are you implying, idiot? It’s not like I was the only one causing trouble back then. Take some responsibility yourself and don’t act all innocent!

There was a momentary pause, then she began typing again. This time, she didn’t send the message for almost a minute before it showed up.

Idiot General
As for Madame Obsidian, I don’t care how nice she is. If you’re going to hold onto a crush like that, then at least try being interested in someone your own age. It’s creepy.

Jett was grinning as she instantly messaged him back. He was already typing his response when he noticed she was writing more. So he paused, and waited for her...but again, she took forever to send it. When she did he frowned for a moment. Clearing what he wrote so far and sighed. He slipped the phone into his pocket and walked to the door. Wondering how he should answer her.

He stopped at the door and pulled the phone up again, hoping she said more. But she didn’t. He finally began to type again It’s perfectly normal for a guy to hold onto a childhood crush. It’s not like I have the delusion i’m going to act upon it. I did have a crush and still do on a girl my age, way back when. Though it feels like she never noticed me that way.

She started typing something else immediately, then stopped, then started again, and then finally…

Idiot General
Seriously? You’re not just messing with me, are you? Who is it? What’s she like? It’s not like you were particularly close to anyone back at school. Was it after I moved?

Jett turned to the wall and hit his forehead against it. Seriously? That felt like a knife to the gut. He started to type, then deleted what he wrote. He did it again and again before finally only sending No, i’m not messing with you. And it was right around the time I met you. he glanced inside the room to see if the teacher was starting. It was also to see if she caught on with out saying more.

There was no reply from her for almost a whole minute again. When she did finally answer back, he couldn’t get a read on what she meant.

Idiot General
I see.

Nothing more, nothing less. What was that supposed to mean? Did she actually get it? He somehow doubted it. Sighing once again he slipped the phone into his pocket and walked back into class. Right before he could reach his desk again, however, one last message came in.

Idiot General
You’re probably busy with school right now.

Another message flashed up moments later, confirming what, perhaps, he’d already begun to suspect.

Idiot General
I’m sorry. I couldn’t keep our promise. The truth is, I failed to make it into Komei.

Was this for real? This girl was the kind of person who never even considered failure, much less talked about it. Besides, even Jett himself didn’t think of her as the kind of person who couldn’t make the cut, no matter how high Komei’s standards might have been. There was just no way. But he hadn’t seen her… And there had to be some reason she hadn’t talked to him about it until now. But why?

As he stood behind Kasuke and Kaida, he stared at his phone. It looked like he had someone punch him in the gut. He didn’t know how to respond to that for a moment. He was mad at first, it sound exactly like her excuses she gave him when he wanted to go and visit her before school. She kept on hemming and hawing how it wasn’t a good time, or she forgot.

Worried came next. His fingers touched the keyboard. But the idiot General would only see a blip of him writing here...and a blip there. Soon the teacher walked into the room. He sat down at his chair.

How?? was all he could muster to type. Confusion and a pained look was clear on his face, not caring if Kasuke or Kaida saw.

Idiot General
I just made some stupid mistakes. That’s all.

She didn’t even give him a reason? He started to get irritated she was clamming up again. She didn’t do this until a few months ago Was it something he did? He thought about not answering, and he did. Not for a minute or two. What happened? What aren't you telling me?

He waited for a response, but as seconds gave way to minutes, his hopes of finally figuring out the truth slowly fell. No answer came, just like always.

No. Not like always. No matter how much things might have changed between them, this wasn’t normal. That idiot wasn’t the sort of person who would ever admit to being wrong. It should have tipped him off immediately that something wasn’t right when she said she’d failed due to mistakes. It might have just been him overthinking things. Maybe something embarrassing had happened and she didn’t want to talk about it. But what if that wasn’t it? What if…

Elsewhere, the screen of a phone idled to black, and the girl’s pale hand slumped back into her lap as her eyes wandered, staring blankly out the window at the passing scenery. The wheels clattered beneath her in time to the wheels of the trolley cart that a nearby attendant was rolling through the car, breaking her focus. But she could still feel those eyes staring at her… She turned back, glancing at the bench opposite her, and meeting the gaze of two vivid blue eyes that stared almost accusingly into her, as if blaming her. Her choice of words had been a poor one, to be sure... To call it a mistake… No matter how much it had cost her, what she’d done wasn’t wrong. How could she honestly regret it? Was she really so petty?

There was no way the one across from her could have known what she was thinking, but just looking at her face set the girl on edge. It was just as if she was looking at…

She shook her head. One thing at a time. This situation… it was terrible, through and through. In the first place, why did Jett have to remember that? And why did that girl have to choose the one place where he was? Why did things have to turn out this way? And why…

”Why do you have to ask me questions I can’t answer, you idiot…?” She muttered under her breath. The girl seated across from her blinked, tilting her head in an uncannily familiar way, as though craning her ear to hear.

”Huh? What did you say?”

The dark-haired girl clammed up, sliding her phone quickly into her pocket as her gold eyes darted away, looking at anyone or anything else. Her hand brushed up against her right leg as she drew it back, and a disgustingly metallic rattling met her ears in response. No. That wasn’t hers. That was just a fake to hide her loss, a sham to make up for the consequences of the choice she wished she could regret.

”Harukaze-san?” Motome Asuka crossed her arms and frowned.

Haruka sighed. This trip to Hosu couldn’t be over soon enough.

Haruka Sanegeyama

So far, Haruka's day had been pretty good. Ever since coming to the school, she felt as if she were really accomplishing something big, and though she still hadn't been anywhere near sociable, something about the school itself just made her feel good. It was a nice place, and there were all sorts of interesting people there. Not many she felt comfortable approaching on her own, of course, but maybe if she gave it some more time. After the lunch break came the electives, of which she had chosen Culinary Arts. Hero Gear had sounded interesting, but it would have passed by far too quickly to be engaging for her if the gear had been especially technological. She could always just give some of the more common pieces a quick look-over at a future time, she thought. For now, she picked something that would be useful for her to learn. Culinary arts sounded low-stress and could give her some life skills that she didn't yet have. As much as she enjoyed food, her skills were pretty much limited to boiling water and sticking things in microwaves. Since she was in a dorm, she needed some way to keep herself from starving. Instant noodles could only carry someone so far in life.

With a small piece of paper in her hand, upon which the room number was written, she walked through the school looking at doors and following the numbers in the right direction. She stopped in front of a door that had a number matching her paper, slid it into one of her uniform's jacket pockets, and took a breath. "'Kay, here goes," She mumbled quietly, opening the door and peeking inside to see who was there. When she saw a handful of people, she immediately realized how weird it was to only have her face peering through the door. Reflexively, she opened it more and stepped inside. It didn't take long for another revelation to hit her, that being that the way she walked in had been pretty darn bizarre. "Oh my god you idiot just sit down before anyone sees you," she silently thought, slipping away from the door before it closed, so that the sound of that didn't draw any unwanted attention.

Haruka took a seat as quickly as she could, slipping off her backpack on the way over to one of the tables. It was decorated with pins that had interesting designs, a variety that had been taken from her tokusatsu shows she enjoyed, as well as a keychain of a super-deformed styled Kamen Rider. She positioned it next to her chair, and once seated, took another deep breath and closed her eyes for a minute. "It's fine," she thought to herself, exhaling. "You made it. It's all good now." When she opened her eyes again, she decided to look over the other students in the class. Nobody she recognized from passing meetings, though some of them stood out quite a bit. In particular, she decided that if she ever was forced to partner up with someone, she would go for Donny. He looked non-threatening and approachable, and she guessed from appearance that he liked food enough to know what he was doing with it. While thinking about that, her eyes lingered for a moment, but swiftly looked away once she realized that she had been doing so.

Ayato Kamina

Yeah, he was right. Trying to make friends was a bad idea. This girl really didn't seem to want anything to do with him, and nothing was more annoying than having someone try to invade when you didn't want them too. He sat quietly, and surprisingly, his wisp was quiet too.

It didn't take long for another student to enter. He was sort of surprised to see she was blind. He wondered what her quirk was that she could function on such a level to get into Komei blind. The other girl already answered that this was the Hero Gear class. He was about to offer her help, but realized that she was at Komei academy. She obviously didn't need his help. She was probably better than he was in several regards and would just laugh at him trying to help. He decided to just give his name in reply instead. It was polite. "My name's Ayato Kamina." 'Yozakura Yukari' He thought to himself. "Do you ever just go by Kura?" He asked shortly.

That's when a ball of energy came bouncing in the room. It didn't take her long to reach them and extend a friendly hand. Yozakura was blind, so he went ahead and took her offer with a hesitant hand. He still gave a firm shake once they connected. No point in doing anything half-heartedly once committed. "My name's Ayato. It's nice to meet you Akasha."

Then another came in and felt the need to introduce themselves. That was the last time he was getting to a class first. It was too late to take that note though. There was only one more class and he doubted he'd need to give many more introductions in days to come. This guy was pretty interesting and his pompous attitude was off-putting. With a sigh, he responded again. "The name's Ayato, and you can keep the harvesting to yourself. I'm just here to become a great hero." He wasn't really sure what to think of Acion.

He turned back to face the others. 'When's this class starting?' Kamina was ready to be done with this day. He felt like this was somehow going to turn into another crazy class.

Yukari Yozakura

”Hello there, Ayato-san. It’s a pleasure to meet you. Um, no. No one has ever called me Kura before. But I’ll be fine if you call me by Yukari.” Yukari nodded her head at Ayato, able to look directly at him now that she could hear him closer. Soon another bubbly voice came up from behind by the name of Akasha Mamoru. Then another calling himself Acion Nakamiji. And there was one more voice that didn’t give her name, but she said she was late. That wasn’t good; students needed to be on time. A hero who’s late won’t save anyone after all.

"It's nice to meet you all! I hope we have a lot of fun and success together."

Nodding her head to the others Yukari went to find a seat. She was almost certain that she could find an empty one herself, but this classroom was still very unfamiliar to her despite her best efforts. As she tried to find a seat she accidentally dripped over a bag and stumbled into one of the other girls. ”Oh my! I’m sorry.” Yukari stumbled back, getting off balanced. She nearly tripped and fell, but instead she literally bend over backwards and landed onto a seat. She was right next to the girl she had ran into, the one who said she slept in.

Crunch; munch; crunch were the sounds that filled his head along with the happy tune that was currently filling his ears. Large headphones cupped his ears as he walked to the rhythm of the song, swinging his one arm of the hand that wasn’t holding an apple. Hm, hm, hm-hm-hm, hmm he hummed along to the tune. The school day was almost over, and so far, his life had been interesting. Every day seemed to bring him closer and closer to achieving his goal. What was there not to be happy about? His face radiated with joy as a smile speckled with pieces of apple was stretched across his face. He was glad that the culinary arts class was right after lunch. If he had had an appetite, then he might not have been able to complete any of the tasks—he would have ate them all.

Akada stopped before the door of the class and peered up at the room number as he took another bite from his apple. He didn’t have to reference his schedule for he was certain he was in the right room. A hero had to be confident! If this is the wrong class, then so be it. Failure only makes me stronger, he mused, a brief frown of determination hardened on his face before he grasped the doorknob and stepped through the door. If there were any rain clouds in the classroom, they might have vanished as soon as the redhead entered the room. He ripped the apple from his mouth, revealing his bright smile that was clenched in a large grin—which might have been too much cheer for those possessed by bitter banshees. He raised his hand in greeting, revealing the bandages that covered his first, second, and third fingers—he tried to change it up every now and then.

Mokkari-makka? Akada greeted, which was unusual to those not used to hearing Osaka-ben. While colloquially, in the current context he had given a simple greeting of hello, its literal translation was Are you making money?

The redheaded boy’s crimson eyes swept the classroom, rolling over to the desks by the window. He always preferred the window seat not because he didn’t like paying attention—he could multitask!—but he liked the view of the outside. The birds, the sky, some teenagers running around playing hooky and getting chased down by campus security. It was all amusing.

Munching on the piece of apple that he had stored in his cheek, Akada pushed his headphones from his ears with the side of his hand as he headed over to the open desk. The headphones settled about his shoulders above the usual getup that all male students at the academy wore. He preferred to wear the sleeveless sweater for it kept him cool. As much as he disliked the uniforms, he treated his like he would treat his hero costume or some other form of professional attire. He was a student of Komei Academy and he always had to represent the school by maintaining a crisp, clean uniform and well-groomed hair. His gray dress pants emitted a metallic clank as he walked. He clearly had some sort of junk in his pockets--change or key chains? Who knew?

With the toe of his foot, he caught the leg of a chair and drew it out before he sat down on it. He kept some space between his chair and the desk so he could cross his left leg over his right in a relaxed four. His non-apple hand snaked into the pocket of his pants, rustling through the clutter to his phone as he tapped its flat screen, having memorized his pass-pattern. He cut off his music and resumed eating his apple as he waited for class to start.

Culinary; why had he chosen culinary? It had nothing to do with being a hero. It wouldn’t make him a better hero to know how to cook. Cooking had been the one thing that he had gotten to do with his mother. It had been the most attention he was able to get from her whether it was honest or false attention. Regardless what it was, it made him happy. Being able to express himself in a creative environment made him happy and seeing his hard-work pay off in the form of something delicious, it was a great feeling, especially when he could share it with others.

Cafeteria > Hero Gear Classroom

@Conscripts@FeyblueAcion replied that he just wanted the 2-A kids to know their place, which caused Kenichi to sigh. Okay, maybe he didn't have much room to talk what with the "main character" bit, but the feathered boy seemed to have a...was it really bad enough to be considered a complex? All the grandiose talk and gesturing? Maybe he was just chuunibyou...

Then everything started floating. Kenichi sucked in a deep breath on reflex, being unsure as to whether or not he was actually being attacked. He looked around, but he heard Principle Hisakawa before he saw him. The Principle bellowed his displeasure and a warning, before forcibly dismissing everyone to their classes.

Kenichi let out his breath as everyone returned to the ground, and wondered not for the first time if their first day was going to be reflective of their entire three years. He headed back to his table outside to grab his schoolbag, and saw Fumika still sitting there still as a statue.

"My bad Motome-chan, that took longer than I thought!" he said as he quickly grabbed his stuff, dumped his empty containers, and motioned for her to come on. "We better go quick, before any more ruckus. My elective is Hero Gear, what's yours?"

Assuming she told him and they headed out of the cafeteria, they would soon part ways in the hall as she headed for the Culinary Arts room and he for the Hero Gear room. And then, thinking of something, he gave her a big grin and a thumbs up. "Since I'm not in that classroom, you should try to get the main character seat for yourself!"

Protagonists took initiative, worked towards their own goals. They didn't look so troubled when they were left at the table all alone, as if they had been abandoned. Kenichi even wondered if that literal-mindedness she showed sometimes had taken his "be right back," as exact words. If he had just rushed to class, would she still be sitting there? Had he said something again that she might take too literally?

"I'll see you later, then!" he ended with a wave, but then added, "'Later' being a non-exact time of convenience, when, uh...either our schedules or convenience overlap. Also, uh, dependent on personal choice! Don't feel pressured to run over if you're in the middle of something else next time you see me. That doesn't mean I wouldn't appreciate the attention, just that, uh, 'later' is not required to be...immediate?"

He had learned somewhere that computer programming was basically a bunch of logic statements, but like math he couldn't really grasp anything past a basic "If A then B" explanation. He wondered if knowing that would be helpful in understanding Fumika's thought process.

@Norschtalen@Conscripts@rechonq@Ryonara@Lucius Cypher@NoxxHe eventually made it to the Hero Gear classroom, and noted that there were several others already there. The blue hair waved as he announced his presence, seeing as some of the new students and a few others he hadn't met at all yet were here along with Acion and Mamoru.

"Yo, Yoshida Kenichi, nice to meet everybody!" He looked around at the available seats. "If nobody's claimed the main character seat already I call dibs!" He grinned as he took note of his newer classmates, but internally he noted with more than a little disappointment that everyone--even the girls--was still taller than him. One girl had a cane, but it looked like her legs worked fine...then he noticed her eyes. Blind? That...that might make Heroism tough, unless her Quirk compensated for it somehow. Still, he couldn't judge a book by its cover--she had made it into Komei, after all, so she probably wasn't helpless. Kenichi wondered if interacting with a blind person was the same as interacting with someone who had been hurt like his dad, someone whose disability was mostly physical even though their senses were intact. He hoped he wouldn't do something stupid or offensive.

Another guy looked kinda plain, not just fashion or features-wise but like...his expression was almost blank. Another girl who had a sort of natural tilt to her movements, although Kenichi wasn't sure if he should call it a slouch. And then there was the girl with six arms and the mask, looking just as intimidating here as she had when she had crawled through the window in homeroom. She also had a case of some sort with her--were they supposed to bring their own Hero Gear? Kenichi remembered Yoshida-sensei saying that Hero Suits wouldn't be here until tomorrow.

"Anyone know who's teachin' the class?" he asked, another general ice-breaker.
