Keep moving forward ۩
⚘ A Brief History
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
I've been at this a long time and when I say a long time I mean a long long damn time. I started out with table top, ADnD, back in the 80's, then dived into others: Nightlife, Mage the Ascension, Shadow Run, HoL, etc. Moved onto Online in the 90's. I've been running various incarnations of a single RP group for twenty years now. Worked helping setting up, building, and/or admining/modding various RP forums over the years: Adventure Quest, Priston Tales, War Gods, etc. It's been a long road filled with ups and downs. I'm an evil GM, you've been warned.

Outside of RP, I am a mom. Yup, I've reproduced and there are little Lady A's running around plotting their own take over of the world. I am a published author and once upon a time an award winning poet. I've done a lot in my life. I haven't done as much as I would like. I've grown a lot. I have a lot more growing to do. I love to cook, baker by trade currently. I went to university and majored in Mathematics. I've programmed websites, worked as a model, worked as a 3d modeler. Shit, I even used to dance. And have been known to sing a bit. Jack of all trades. Master of like 3, lol.

⚘ Looking Inside
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
This is where I go into my personality. In the past I would normally make some self deprecating remark about how I am a bitch of a GM, pushing my rpers as hard as I push myself and so forth. Not anymore. People change, or perhaps they just come into their own. This can happen at any age. More than that it can happen several times over the course of your life as you discover and rediscover yourself. Everything happens for a reason, usually that reason is ones owns actions. Or inaction's. Right now, I am in a better place than I can remember being in the longest time. I am happy and at peace. I have no regrets. Maybe I should but I don't. I plan on keeping this peace I have found, I went far too long without it.

Currently I am enjoying several things. Some are things I have enjoyed most of my life: Coffee, chocolate, bacon, M*A*S*H. One isn't something I have enjoyed since I was seventeen: being clean and free of poisons in my system. It is beyond description and I love it: One-hundred and twenty days and counting. Music taste is shifting to more mood oriented than anything, strange I am finding a lot of newer Country I am enjoying and I have NEVER liked country. Watching things like Lark Rise to Candleford and being hooked to the point of reading the trilogy. Recently added yoga to my workouts and all I can say is, "Fuckmaste: the fucked up in me accepts the fucked up in you."

Silvia Adenias

Location: Tristan's Floor --> The MOR

Silvia stepped into the elevator, turning around and leaning against the wall a bit as she fanned out her fingers; crossing her arms over her chest she let out a bit of a breath. Maybe Tristan wasn't as much of an idiot as she had hoped he was, or maybe he just knew better than to try to fight someone that actually knew how and could fight back. Reaching up she pushed her hair out of her face; tucking it behind her ear as Tom asked if she needed someone to come up from the infirmary. Perking a brow she looked down at her suit and grumbled under her breath.

Grasping the zipper at her neck she pulled it down and shoved back the fabric just enough to take a better look at the source of the blood. There were was bruised hand print clear as day on her pale skin and deep nail gouges in five places where she had been grabbed. Rolling her eyes, she zipped back up and shook her head. "No, I should be fine. Might need a tetanus shot because of the fucker but other than that I'll be alright," she said as she leaned back against the wall of the elevator as it went up to the top floor where the MOR was. She had received worse over the years working on Earth, the place was older, much older and a lot of things broken down. This was just a flesh wound in her mind and didn't need looking at. For a T1 though, it was an odd way to react to it, most would have pulled a Tristan and acted like it was the end of the world. Silvia though wasn't a typical T1 in some ways.

Stepping out of the elevator she smirked a bit at her introduction. "I will, thank you," she said gratefully and sincerely as she stepped over to the Lead Chair and took a seat. Resting herself down and getting a feel for it for a moment before she started pointing at different members of the MOR's team and having them come over to her one at a time. Silvia was doing something that she did in every tower she had been in but something other T1's seemed to avoid. She was getting to know the staff. Asking them their names, how long they had been on shift, how long since they had had time off. She asked about their lives, their families, why they were at this tower, if they wanted to transfer off. Eventually asking for one of them to hand her a pencil and a piece of paper. Was she actually writing things down? Why not use a PDA or something to put down what she needed?

Craig perked an antenna before looking over towards Tom. "Well she is different," he said before leaning back in his seat. "The repairs are underway but this is what I need you to have a look at," he said as he pulled up the footage of the attack on Silvia. His lips thinned as he watched it again before stopping the replay once it got the point where Silvia chucked the pilot out of the ship. "The pilot is currently restricted to the ship only and the ship will be confiscated once the repairs are done. How do you want to handle this? Seems out new girl over there likes to handle matters herself but you are Head of Security. Do we want to handle this by the books? Or take a more hands on approach?" he asked as he rubbed the wiry hairs on his chin.

Confiscated Ship

The pilot flopped down in his chair on the bridge, rubbing his chest where she had hit him with the ball of parts from his ship and narrowed his eyes. "Not the end of this," he muttered under his breath. Hearing things going on in his ship he stood up angrily and stormed through it to see what was going on. As he spotted people in his ship his eyes flared up a bit but at least they were getting repairs underway. The sooner they were done the better in his mind.

"Hurry up, I want to get the fuck off his world," he spat as he walked by them and began to get his on world pack together. He wanted to head up to the commissary to get a meal and then head out to the nearest town to find some ways to release his anger and tension. Maybe find a nice girl, or a bad girl, didn't matter, a girl to make him forget that silver haired vixen who thought she was all that and then some.

Shoving clothing and some cred sticks into his bag he shouldered the bag and looked back at the repair crew. "Don't fuck anything up on my ship," he warned them before turning and heading for the exit he had been tossed out of earlier; it was time to get his drink on and figure out a way to make that woman pay for embarrassing him in front of people. No one got away with screwing with Ragari of Galaxia 7.
@The Grey Dust Yeah, that would work just fine as a starter low level Magical item. Other than that I am okay. Gotta wait for Sigil's okay, should be tonight after he gets off work before he can take a close look at the CS.
@SouffleGirl123 No worries girl, we got ya. Take your time. Get some rest and flush those numbers out of your head LOL

Claire, Murphy & Desh

Location: Hotel Shikha
Interacting With: @Charnobylisk @POOHEAD189
Time/Date: Evening/August 1st, 2016

Desh was there in the booth, mumbling to himself in Hindi as he lay there passed out. Murphy and Claire looking over at each other and laughing a bit. Murphy looked up at Cass and smiled brightly at her as he shrugged. "Them have been top notch notes Lass! Famous even!" he chuckled as patted his leg again, inviting her to take a seat. As she did he slipped his arm around her back and pulled her a bit closer.

"You heard the lady, top shelf single malt. A double," he said looking towards the waitress before turning his attention back to Cass. Reaching up with his free hand and tucking her hair back behind her ear. "Never thought you would be Lass, just figuring you would rather sit here than on..." he began as Desh rolled out of the booth and onto the floor with his feet sticking up from under the table as they planted against the boot seat and the wall fully spread. "That...."

Claire nearly burst out laughing and shook her head as she took another drink of her beer. Her brow arched deeply as she felt herself being picked up and then settled back down in the chair. Well that was a first, granted it was the first time she had just dropped in someone's lap either. She wasn't normally one to just plop down in someone's lap. She wasn't a flirt, that just wasn't who she was. She was trying but seemed like the failed miserably, or had at least made the wrong choice. Shrugging to herself she leaned back in her seat and took another drink of her beer.

"Well have at it!" she chuckled as she spun the chair around to face the stage and watch. Murphy looked at Alc rather shocked that he had dropped Cass off in the chair the way he had. He would have words with him about that later. His surprise only grew when he saw that Alc was going to actually sing. He was not the type he would ever have laid bets on to get up there and sing.

Claire listened and had to admit the man wasn't bad; seemed he was in his own little world. It was a nice song and he did well but she doubted he did this often, he just didn't seem the type to get out there in the middle of it. Murphy was about on the same lines. As Alc came back over Claire stood up and moved from the seat. "Nice song mate, cheers," she said before downing the rest of her drink and laying the bottle down on the table as a look flashed through her eyes. Murphy looked up to Claire and let out a short breath before looking back at Cass as Claire walked off cracking her knuckles.

"Aww hell, her Irish is up," he said under his breath.
@Scallop @POOHEAD189 @Sigil @Morose @Dragoknighte @DizzyIsabella @Charnobylisk @Kingfisher @Xtreme @Nallore @Pundii

Just a quick update - within the next couple of W.N. we will most likely be moving forward and pulling a little time skip until the next day. So be on the look out for that and if you have anything you want to take care of, attend to for your character and such before that happens or if you need more time to wrap up stuff - please let us know. ^_^ Don't want to jump to the next day before everyone is ready.
@Charnobylisk @Aewin @SouffleGirl123 @Dragoknighte @Fabricant451

Okay, I think we are only waiting on Souff at this point. (She has had one hell of an assignment for the end of the semester to finish. So soon as she gets a few free minutes to post, then we can move on to the next round.)
@The Grey Dust Looks good, @Sigil will need to look over it as well as the Co-Gm. Have 2 little things on my part. One is you have listed a knife that can be used as an improvised weapon but nothing listed out in your skills for weapons period. Are you wanting to add in a basic knife skill? Or keep him fully a glass cannon type? Two, is the bag of holding - That is a no-no. (Have already turned down several Cs sheets with Bags of Holding on them. BoH is not considered a low level item.)

Danica Graves

Location: #8 Aunt Sues Inn -> Southeastern Wilderness Area
Interacting With: No One

Danica looked up at the sky, seeing the few clouds rolling through and decided it was time to get out of small town for a bit. She hated being in cities and anything with a population over twenty was a city as far as she was concerned. Might as well go for a run. Changing her clothing real fast into her black spandex pants, running shoes, and a tank top she was treat to go. She tied her hoodie around her waist and grabbed her phone and climbing gear. Finding a good song to start off with; 1,000,000 by Amaranthe was perfect. It was fast paced and gave a good series of highs and lows for her to be able to run to. With that she locked the door to her room, dropping the keys in her pack before darting off from the Inn towards the closest wilderness area.

The travel writer was glad for the ear buds shoved into her head; not having to listen to various groups she ran passed and through. She didn't need to hear what they said to know what it was about. People on actual soap boxes with megaphones at their lips. People making the sign of the cross over their chest. Yeah, more religious nuts had showed up, wasn't that just spectacular? Oh well, more fodder for her blog should tomorrow come. Making her way south she was glad when she finally reached the edge of town and into the woods.

Up the rocks she went, down them, leaping over this and that as she pushed herself. Her runs were something she enjoyed nearly as much as climbing; it let her set herself free. There was nothing tying her down right then. What ever path she took, it didn't matter. There was no one to impress, the ground didn't care if she had make up on. It didn't care if she was wearing the newest designer clothing. It wasn't concerned who she was dating right then, which was no one. It didn't matter if she hadn't been there in days or if it had just been minutes since her last visit. It didn't judge. If only the rest of the world could be like that.

Coming around the bend she came to a slow walk, something off in the distance catching her attention. Walking over to a tree she reached up into a branch and pulled down a piece of bright blue colored fabric. taking it in her fingers it reminded her of the same material used for her tent. A brow rose as she looked around and saw another piece and then again. Slowly following the trail of shredded canvas deeper and deeper into the wilderness area. What was going on? She had heard there were a lot of homeless taking up the wilderness areas as of late but why all the pieces? this type of fabric wasn't exactly the easiest to cut, let alone rip to shreds like this as if it was tissue paper.

Coming to a clearing she stopped as her hand came over her mouth, cupping it to quiet the gasp that left her lips. The place was a wreck. Tents torn apart were strone this way and that. There wasn't many but there was more than a couple. Stepping around slowly she looked at the remains of the tents, noting a little bit of blood dotting the surface. Pulling out her phone she snapped a few pictures before looking at the ground for anything else.

There were tracks but she wasn't sure just what they were. They could have been bear, could have been something else. Maybe bigger? She had dealt with bears in the past but not enough to know one type of bears tracks from another or to have a clue how big they should be. Taking a few more pictures, some with her foot next to the track so she could reference the size.

Tucking her phone back in her pack she shook her head and began to head back out of the wilderness. No bodies, shredded tents, tracks, and blood. Who the hell should she go to first? The cops or the forestry commission? Did this town even have a forestry commission? She had no idea. She'd google it once she was out of the woods. Right now, it was time to get out of there before whatever happened here, happened to her. Taking a breath she turned, carefully making her way out of the scene before starting her run up again and heading back towards town.

Amy Chang

Location: Altsoba Methodist Hospital ER
Interacting With: Idiots (I mean Patients and The ER Staff)

The sound of gloves snapping out rung through the Trauma Bay as Dr. Chang pulled them off and dropped the blood covered latex into the biohazard bin before ripping off her paper face mask and heading off for the next emergency. Well, so called emergency as she looked at the file that was handed her. Opening up the metal clipboard she went through it for a moment before eying the nurse.

"Seriously? There isn't someone else that could handle this?" she asked as she slammed the thing shut and gripped it as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"The mother is really upset, we've tried to calm her down but she thinks that demons have possessed her children. She won't listen," Nurse Kelly explained.

"Demons?"

Kelly nodded in reply and Amy rolled her eyes before storming off towards curtain 12. She could hear the mother saying a rather loud prayer and as she pushed the divider back she had to clear her face of all expression as she looked at the woman thumbing her rosary.

"Mrs.... Johnson," she said looking back at the file before glancing up at the woman. "What happened?"

"I put holy water on my children, to protect them from the demons of hell and this happened! They must be possessed!" the woman exclaimed. Dr. Chang had to bit her tongue as she found herself about to ask, well if that is the fucking case why didn't you take them to a priest?

"O..kay," she said as she stepped over to each child in turn. Checking the raised areas on their skin. "How do you feel?" she asked them.

"They are hurting! Demons hurt my children to hurt me!" the mother yelled. Amy paid her no mind and nodded towards the eldest child, waiting for the boy to speak.

"It itches and it hurts to breath. It's hard," he said as he scratched at the spots on his arms and the cross looking mark on his forehead.

"See! The demon is killing my child! Do something!" the woman bellowed, nearly in hysterics at this point.

"Sit down and shut the hell up before I have you sedated," Amy said coldly before looking over at Nurse Kelly. "Do your children have any allergies?"

The woman looked at Amy dumbfounded that she had been reprimanded but shook her head slowly to the question. "Not that I know of," she admitted. Sighing Amy stepped back and looking at the next child and then the next. "See, this is what I put on them. It's just Holy Water. I got it online to protect them," she said as she handed the bottle over to the doctor.

"What, was the church out?" Amy asked as she took the bottle and opened it. The woman actually looked confused for a moment, like she had never considered going down to an actual church to get holy water. Opening up the bottle Amy took a sniff, a perplexed look coming over her features. Placing the tip of her finger over the top of it and tipping it to wet it. Feeling it between her thumb and index finger, it was slick. Not like water. Finally she placed a bit to the tip of her tongue and her eyes could no longer hold back the roll. "This isn't for demons."

"What? How would you know! You aren't a priest!" The woman was offended that Amy would dare tell her what it was or was not for. She was their mother, she knew best. The internet would never lie to a mom!

"No, but I grew up in a Chinese Restaurant. This is for cooking, it's peanut oil. My parents used this stuff by the gallon each day," she said handing it over to Nurse Kelly. "I want a scratch test done for peanuts, and anything else while you are at it. Get the RT down here for a breathing treatment for each of the kids to help. As well as a 1mg/kg of Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride injection for each child."

"What is that?" the mother asked quickly.

"Benadryl! They're having an allergic reaction to peanuts. Next time, get the holy water from the actual source. A church," she said before stepping out of the room. This day was just getting better and better.
