I had every intention of posting for those I needed to today. Then there were events that occurred this morning that left me scared and seething with rage, making me unfit to post. I will do so asap however.

I was in Caleum for the past few months with a troupe of archaeologist that had discovered the remains of multiple temples surrounded by citadels deep within the jungles. "Despite the structures originating from ancient times they were very well maintained, but that's not the weird part. The damage that the they had wasn't caused by natural wear from long exposure to the weather; they were destroyed recently. We don't know why or what happened and I doubt we'll know anytime soon. We can't even translate whatever language they had written in let alone let alone find any text that wasn't damaged. We only were recover one book that was legible, but-"
"Are you actually going to order something or are you going to keep yapping away kid?" The waitress gave him a stern glare, bringing him back down to reality that he was probably talking Alm's ear off and wasting the waitress' time.
Levi's face flushed a bright red and he grabbed the menu to give it a quick glance. "Er, coffee and pancakes." The waitress gave him the evil eye before heading off with their orders.

"Er, considering what happened to my old guild I'm not sure if all guilds are families. My old master was bribed by dark guilds to avoid jobs involving them without the rest of us knowing. Can't judge the rest just from a bad apple though." Ferris leaned forward and grabbed a strawberry, taking a big bite from it. Juices leaked down from the corner of his mouth and licked it up."It's been a long time since I've been in combat. I wonder if I still got it." He pondered outloud, obviously worried if his occupation as a model had made him rusty.

"Just our fucking luck." Enma rubbed his sore butt after falling into the pit trap. It looked like they had been had by the fat wench though that was the least of their concerns now. They needed to get out and continue their mission, perhaps apprehend the woman if they were able to. Still this wasn't exactly the worst thing that could've possibly happened to them. It was just a hole. Well, things did get a bit worse for them; massive spiders had begun to swarm around them in a sea of skittering black. Their red eyes pierced the dark room as it met their gaze.
Mercury and Gabriel were getting themselves worked up in the situation, but surprisingly their oni companion had a wide, excited grin on his face. "You know, I've been needing to let loose some stress." Enma chuckled, his eyes glowed a vivid red that showed an inhuman amount of bloodlust matched by the sudden red light radiating from his skin."You humans have a saying about big things right? The bigger they are the harder they drop was it? Heh, it just means they bleed more."
Enma dashed forward to the hoard of spiders with a demonic grin and swung his club straight down at the spiders, an explosion sent the oversized arachnids flying in multiple pieces across the room. "Come on you ugly shits! I haven't had my fill yet!" He laughed maniacally as he destroyed everything in his path.
There goes his natural vicious instincts again. Oni are notorious as violent, powerful creatures that and try as he might to control himself, Enma would sometimes lose himself to his urges.

Trail marks! This had to lead to where the assisstant and the merchant were. With renewed conviction Yasha trecked on forward even when the marks disappeared and reappeared at random times. Thank God that he actually found these marks or else he would had to turn back empty handed. Yasha kept on wading through the mud for whoever knows how long until he had stumbled upon a cart positioned precariously by the river. This was obviously the source of the tire tracks though what of the steed that pulled the cart and where was the driver of the cart? "Hello? Anyone there?!" Yasha called out to the cart only to be answered by silence. "No answer..."
He walked over to the cart and firmly gripped onto it, dragging it away from the river. The strain of this alone however had forced his wounds to reopen, leaving his bandages around his arms all bloodied. At least the cart wouldn't fall into the river now. "I wonder if there are any clues in it..." Yasha opened the door and entered the cart, the inside was only lit by the faint glow of a candle. So far there wasn't anything exactly out of the ordinary...Though why did the owner of the cart leave with all of its supplies in it? What exactly made him run away in such a hurry?
"I aint liking this, not one bit." Yasha glanced around and saw a whole container filled to the brim with Max Revives. Deciding that this may get much more troublesome without the aid of Lulu, he dipped his hand in the jar and took one of these miracle pills out. Soon the Yanma was summoned from her pokeball with a white flash, laying weakly on the floor. "Come on girl, ya gotta eat this." He held the Max Revive to her mouth and Lulu took a reluctant bite, her eyes widening at how bitter it was.
"YAN YAN YAN! (WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU MAKE ME EAT?!)" Lulu buzzed loudly, flying up with renewed energy and grumpiness. Yasha chuckled nervously and shrugged his shoulders.
"Desperate times call for desperate measures?." Soon the two of them exited the cart and Yasha yelled out, "Hey! Is there anyone out here?!"

Oh yeah, I know, I've done it... twice now in 13 chapters and two side quests.
In Radiant Dawn I restarted something like 100 times throughout the whole game.
I remember being obsessed with the Fire Emblem games when I was ten. At fist I just played it because of the pretty art style, but then I actually got into the gameplay. xD

Trust me, it will. xD The beauty of the earlier ones before Awakening was that if your characters died then you would restart the level until you make it through perfectly without anyone dying.

@Zardoric Absolutely, feel free to take over the situation. I'm not sure what you mean by fix the character, but PM me if you need help figuring it out.
Classifying gender in non-mammalian species is actually quite difficult in real life, and even with some mammals like rabbits, but this is Pokémon so that's a separate discussion. You make a good point with gender always being revealed in the games, though I don't remember the show doing that, I'm sure there are examples out there I just haven't found.

I'll leave it to the players to decide, as it's not really too important to me whether or not gender can be instantly classified. If it could be recognized on sight, I would likely take liberties so as to make every Pokémon look different by gender, even if there are some species that look identical in canon. This explains away the "I know it's female just because".
What do y'all think? Yes or no to knowing gender?
I wish there was like a poll option where I could just tag everybody...
