Current Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

Hey @Zarkun, were you able to see the CS that I should you and Caits in our PM. I just wanted to get one of your thoughts before I start using him.

I did, but I wasn't feeling well, so I didn't give a critique. I shall go do so now...er, soon.
<Snipped quote by Zarkun>

Yeah but how effective would god slayer magic be against her magic is my question

@Expolar
Ah yes...Manami would be surrounding herself, Cody and Shiro (the closest people to her) in water. I haven't made the post yet however.

Well, probably fairly effective, since when Jack goes all out, he don't give a fuck what you send his way.
<Snipped quote by Raijinslayer>

Suppose we should sort that out before she starts a fight with one of those three then (if she ever does) because this seems like a rather important detail.
@Caits what do you think?

Jack will be in a fowl mood, so while he wouldn't do anything bad, he WOULD lash out against another attack.
@ZarkunAlso, in the case of the 3 God Slayers we have(Argus, Nolan, and Jack), wouldn't she be at a disadvantage, since her magic is divine/holy?

I honestly couldn't say. Jack's magic is a generational thing, Nolan learned his from a bunch of pacifist monks and Argus is...Argus XD Probably the only one who'd feel a need to fight her right away.
<Snipped quote by Raijinslayer>

Yeah thought it might. It would be huge and rather noticeable...so ah people might know she is there >.>
I mean the way I imagine her magic is water with a slight golden tinge/glow to it....not many people run around with slightly gold water >.>

<Snipped quote by Zarkun>

What makes you say that? ;) Talking about how she hates slayers?

Well, considering she thinks, without concrete proof, she can take them on with a flick of her wrist...I mean, I won't say it wouldn't be an epic battle, but in the end, I can't guarantee it would end well for her.
Lance Corporeal James Hunt|Battle for the Court House

As they unloaded, James was already slipping into old habits. "Sykora, Rousseau, Skye, on me!" Once the trio was with him, he got them moving low through the brush towards the coach house, eventually using the APC for cover when it caught up to them. Glancing back, he grins reassuringly. "Alright, we should almost be to the coach house. Rousseau, you'll be in first, then me, then Skye, then Sykora. Play it smart but get the floor secured FAST. I know only a couple of you have done this before, but we don't want to take longer than-" A round pings over his head and he curses before peaking out. "Alright, three minutes tops. Ready? Go!" James lead the charge out of their mobile cover towards the coach house, firing his rifle rapidly towards the exposed windows to buy his fire team time to reach the door. Once they were all there, he turned to Rousseau. "On your mark."
@Lunarlors34 You know, when Manami actually MEETS a slayer, she's in for a rude awakening.
@ZarkunBasically, since holy and divine stands for a level of order that isn't found in death/undeath. So yeah, they probably tend to either overcome each other or cancel each other out, depending on the intensity and amount of energy.

Well, James is a Paladin, a vessel for Holy magic and power gifted to men by the Gods of good. Of course, Nolan doesn't believe in the latter as a God Slayer, but technicalities. Anyways, I would imagine his holy magic would be strong enough to resist the relatively unconcentrated necrotic energy. A more direct attack could prove problematic though.
@Lunarlors34Well, I'd say that it would take about two post or so just because of how thick the stuff is as it hangs in the air, even with the updraft from the flames(it was 6 feet of material that just got evaporated) . . . which reminds me, @ZarkunDoes James have anyway to protect himself from the necrotic energy in the dust, cause as it stands he probably inhaled a lot of it on his fall and what not, and while he could probably heal it, it would still do some pretty nasty initial damage. The area immediately around the pillar would be clearer then the rest, but still, pretty dangerous spot to be in.

Found the mention. And the answer to your question, good sir, rests in how affected by holy magic the necrotic energy is. Cause the familiarity that I have with Holy anything and Necro anything is that they're pretty much polar opposites. If you've ever played AQ, you'll get a nice punch of irony from the Undead Paladin enemy.
James Hunt|Remains of Bone Domes

James had been pulling back to deliver another holy magic fueled blow to the dome when it suddenly disappeared and he got the brief glimpse of a pillar of fire flying at him. "Holy Shield!" He barely managed to get the spell off in time, but he still got a little singed by the flames, sending him flying up higher before he began his decent back towards the ground. "Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Holy Landfall!" Admittedly, he could have used a multilayer Holy Shield to lessen the damage, but he wasn't too keen on the receiving end of the impact without using a spell, so when he impacted, there was less of a shockwave and more of an explosion straight up that had James kneeling for several seconds before he attempted to stand and stumble over to Cody. "Ow, ow, ow, ow...Cody, you alright?" He hadn't yet registered the other mages in the area, his focus being on keeping the pain from winning and making sure his guild mate was alright. Once that was done, he'd probably spend a few moments healing the damage he'd taken.

Damian Gerard|Ramen Restaurant

Damian nods, thanking the man for his noodle bowl, and leans back before taking a bite. "I imagine he has, Hyun isn't one to dilly dally around what needs to be done. Still, he will need watching for sure. Besides checking on Marlene, do you have any other plans?"

Jane Addison|City of Crocus

Jane, unable to find anyone who could lead her to the person she had spent the majority of the day looking for, wandered around the city in annoyance, eventually ending up back at the stadium. You would think that SOMEONE would have noticed the guild master of Phoenix Wing walking around at some point, but instead no one had seem her at all. In one particularly crowded seating area of the stadium, someone shoved her out of their way rather unceremoniously and into another bystander, resulting in her and him landing in a jumbled mess. "Oi jerk-off! No need to be so damn pushy!" She set herself to trying to estricate herself from the other person. "Sorry about that, didn't realize so many jerks were here."

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Hotel

Jack steps forward, sliding into what could more or less be considered a combat stance. "Well, you are most certainly welcome to try, but I will not let you near my guild mate. And I'll be seeing to it that Angelo is free before you leave."
