@NuttsnBolts Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. Though, the setup in this particular RP has been going since the intro, so I definitely need to get it just right...even if progress ICly is going to be held up for a few days. x.x

I really freaking hate seeing one post long interest checks that equate to: Hey I'm bored wanna make a ___ roleplay?

It's even worse considering they usually get a shit ton more responses than well thought out ones.

i hate when a roleplay has really interesting concepts and characters and has far more potential in my opinion for entertainment value but it just stays solely slice of life, which I find boring

Let me say it extra loud just for you.

I have no idea whatsoever as to why it died.

I know that it did die. One of the contest mods lost their position, the others went AWOL, and TheGreyDust's project unfortunately did not take off. I do not know the actual causes behind any of those events.

If you know anything, by all means, please enlighten me.

@Terminal gee, I wonder if any of the causes you just mentioned were the reason it died. Or perhaps it's the fact that, suddenly, it stopped getting promoted once one of the moderators lost their position and the others went AWOL. Could also be that the one person in charge of it at the moment isn't really doing anything with it last I checked. You literally just listed the reasons it died. The causes for those reasons are irrelevant to what I said (and what you said).

There's no reason for it to be as dead as it is, though, considering there is still an active writing contest moderator. So, perhaps look to them for the answers you seek.

Sure. I could hypothetically run an independent project there. It is just that there is a 0% chance it would be Mod sponsored. For people to actually get anything, it would have to be run by someone else who the Mods would be amenable to making a contest moderator.
