Three days had passed since Squad Sigma had returned to their mission. In that time, the new recruits have reported to Captain Ritsu, still caught in the web of administrative procedures thanks to the controversy surrounding both Elora and Serah. Higher ups have demanded for their execution, but Lorenzo had kept them at bay, promising to resolve their cases soon. Pilot Sigma was assigned out from the squad for "classified reasons", but the most believed cause was the lapses of memory that she had experienced, rumored to be a memory disorder caused by a defect in the cloning process.

"You're releasing me from duty?" Elise screamed while in Ristu's office, and banged her fists against her desk. "I can still fight! You can't do this to me!"
Ritsu sighed heavily. "It can't be helped, Sargeant; your injuries are too grievous for you to be sent to any new missions. You would put not only yourself, but the rest of your squad at risk." Elise bit her lip, and looked aside. Ritsu continued. "This wouldn't normally be an issue, but the energy system your Framewerk operates on rejects cybernetic enhancements, which means you can't be fitted with artificial replacements." The red-headed girl clenched her fists. "I know that...But still, isn't that too drastic? And what about Squad Sigma?"

Ritsu typed on her laptop. "Don't worry, Romanovna will take on your duties. As for you, well, there's options. You could take on the duties of a quartermaster or a drill instructor, or begin commissioned officer training." Elise shook. "Fine. As long as I can be with P...Nevermind." She stood up straight. "Understood, Captain. I will take my lead, and report on my decision later." She made one last salute, and drifted off. She walked to the hangar, and looked up at Prometheus, holding back her tears. She then hesitantly reached out, and touched the Framewerk with her hand.
"...Papa..."

Elsewhere, in Lorenzo's laboratory, his beautiful and shapely assistant Dariya made a light-hearted giggle as she looked at Elora step out of the containment sphere, with a strange helmet that covered her entire head, wearing a black bodysuit with bright green lines running on it in a Tron-like fashion. Dariya wrote down a line on the clipboard she held in her hands. "Now Elly my dear, we're going to make a few tests, ok? If you'e a good girl, I'll give you a plushy toy and some sweet bars." She pet her head. The young ex-pilot slowly nodded, completely silent. "Professor, are you sure of this? We haven't got authorization to release her yet, and the Neuro-Mask is still in the prototype phase of testing. We are already treading on dangerous ground with the ESP research."

Lorenzo was on the other side of the vast room, typing a password to a terminal. "It is fine. Aside from the occasional noise, she's been stable, and her readings have only shown a minuscule rate of fluctuation, especially after Subject X was relocated downstairs. Besides, the Neuro-Mask works on the same principle as the Dampening Sphere; it is simply a mobile, and more importantly, adjustable version. Proceed with the experiment." "Very well then, Professor. We will start with the sensory testing, and then move on to telekinetic evaluation. Come on, Elly~"
Dariya smiled sweetly, and took Elora by her hand, as if she was a mother taking her daughter to a picnic. The two then disappeared past an automatic door that locked behind them.

Lorenzo scratched the back of his hand. "Liu'un is showing great progress. If I could just convince those idiots of her potential..."
He grumbled, and moved to a big, egg-shaped construct; it had XA-01 painted on it. "Ana..." he cooed in a creepy voice, and opened the pod; a young woman, or at least something resembling a young woman, was inside, her eyes closed, completely unmoving. He grinned, and caressed her cheek with his wrinkly palm while she was in sleep-mode.
"My masterpiece...My precious daughter. I may have lost you once, but now you are reborn. And you look as beautiful as your mother. You will avenge her..." Lorenzo then removed his touch, and took a moment to look aside, having become emotionally charged. After he calmed himself, he reached for his pocket to press a button on his device. "Wakey wakey." Ana was finally activated, and opened her eyes. Lorenzo smiled gently. "Anastasia, you are now a month old, which means it is time you take on new responsibilities. Today is the day of your integration to a pilot squad. Remember, your social skills will be tested even harder than in the simulations, so you must be prepared for anything. Also, you must keep your personal details as well as your Framewerk classified, level Red. Understood? Dismissed," he then said with a wide smile, very unlike his usual demeanor.

Alright, here it is. The link expires in a day, but I will provide a new one to anyone who missed out on it.

The recent state of the site has made me consider setting up another communication channel for us to fall back to in case we experience another bout of maintenance. How many of you would be interested? Also, I'm planning to make a new post with a character introduction, but it might take up to Thursday/Friday due to IRL.

@Apollosarcher
Sure, since you have enough Exp to unlock a secondary weapon. Wouldn't it make more sense to install it on Legion?

@Ammokkx
To be fair, I also thought it was written with a serious tone at first until I noticed the strange logic behind it.
@Mr Rage
You want to talk about REAL snow, come to Northern Europe; it sometimes stacks so fast we have to shovel it away multiple times in a single day.
@DarkRecon
I assure you, no betting of glitter is involved.

Caora was apprehensive of Bliss' departure, and bit his lip as he clutched on to her. While he did accept being alone with Mary, he still found it uncomfortable, and so he pouted, slouching over the table like a child. "Okay. See you later, Bliss."
Mary also felt awkward, and wiped her eyes as she calmed down. She finally had a chance to talk to Caora, but she had no idea what to even say; when she thought about it, despite having been after him for a while, there was very little she actually knew about Caora as a person.
"So, Caora..." She started, and noticed that Aleecia sit nearby. It looked like she wanted to talk to her, since her empty gaze landed in their direction. Caora cotninued slouching, and only gave a quick glance. Mary decided it could help if if there was another person Caora could feel safe with. "Hey Aleecia. Would you like to join our table-"

Both the Infinite Streamer and Infinite Trap were startled by the sound coming from the intercom. They recognized Cyrus' voice coming from it, and Caora shuddered. "Emergency? What happened, Fang?" He asked his doll, looking into his button eyes.
Mary felt bad that he considered her less of a person to talk to than a doll of all things, but she let it be.
"Let's wait and see, Caora," she said, and nervously twiddled her thumbs; she expected another tragedy...Another murder.

People soon gathered, and Mary held her sides, shivering in fright. Caora kept staring at the other Infinites with wide eyes, his lip trembling like a sad little thing. Then, Cyrus burst thing, and brought them up to speed. Mary gasped, and put her hands to her mouth.
"Krista?" Caora blinked, and held his doll tighter. He shook in place. "Pun lady or blind lady..." He whispered. "I don't want to lose either!" Mary was dismayed, unsure what to think. She still had her hangups over her contributing indirectly to Mondatta's death, and even if she knew it wasn't right of her to blame the Infinite Violinist, she couldn't help but be conflicted.
"Krista...Is there anything we can do? They're killer robots decked out in all those weapons. Don't you remember what happened to Shona? We'd just be slaughtered."

The Infinite Streamer gasped at Aleecia's offer. Of course the sweet angel would be willing to be a martyr, and she hated it! "Aleecia, you can't!" She felt the anxiety kick in, clawing at her from the inside. She began breathing a bit quicker, and an arm slowly slid up to her hair, as if it was something comforting for her to touch, maybe even tug on. However, she stopped herself when Thomas Herringsson began speaking. He was one of the countless of new patients that had been thrown into this sick game, to replace those that are gone. How many days has it actually been since she was locked up in there? An uneasy feeling came over her from the fact she had forgotten. Thomas used very sophisticated language, to the point the Infinite Streamer had a bit of difficulty following, but his main point did come across; either they fight, they do nothing, or give Aleecia to Nariko.

"Are you a computer?" Caora asked Thomas, and pouted. "You sound like one."
Mary sighed. She didn't know how to feel about anything being logical. "I agree with Max, we can't think in numbers. Krista's not just a statistic." Caora rocked in place, feeling like a child right in the middle of his arguing parents, shouting over him in angry voices. All this shouting caused his inner side to come out...And then it stopped, washed away by the sound of static, and a familiar voice. "Bad man..." He spoke, and now went over to Bliss to clutch at her side.
Mary was in shock at seeing Davis again. "You fucking bastard!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. She took her shoe, and threw it at the monitor. It missed, hitting a wall, but she was still seething, with tears in her eyes.

Caora was frightened by the commotion around him, and buried his face into Bliss' dress. "Make it stop, Bliss!"
He pleaded. Mary took deep breaths, and went to retrieve her shoe, looking at it with a dead expression. "I...I want to see Krista again. I want to tell to her face how I feel. She's just going to give one of her awful puns, but...She won't understand if she's dead. So, I'll help. I don't know how, but I'll try." Caora slowly turned his head at Mary, and blinked. He waved, and went back to holding onto Bliss; it was clear he didn't want anything to do with the drama.
@BrokenPromise
Will have a post made this weekend.
@GamerXZ
Go with whichever you would find more interesting; nobody has really dug into the DMG module except for a trait or two, so that's one way to make a unique character.
@PlatinumSkink
Should be fixed now.
