@Jangel13 What direction is the church?

Ah, not that Nyma and her trusty sidekick companion will prob be allowed to the Church for shenanigans and such. XD

Actually, i wonder what they will run into, really.

More importantly, good to know you are ok and back in action! \o/

The Yuyuko Devastation Zone: aka "A Ransacked Brunch Buffet"

"Pardon my interruption. Getting back to the topic your brave vassal and Ms. Meteora here have started into, none of us come from here, arriving here rather suddenly without any idea of how or why. But if this 'Yukari' is involved in what is going on potentially," Sanaki said, keeping her voice down enough for just the group at their table alone to hear, including this Yuyuko whom the brave swordswoman had seen fit to attend to, "If she is involved, it seems it could be with more than dangerous individuals, one of which has not idly handed out serious threats to this entire world and any of us here who would defy their will in some manner. This is why we seek if you know anything about this Yukari's involvemnet in current affairs."

As much as she wanted to unwind a bit, and indeed they were all waiting on food to arrive now it seemed at some establishment that reminded her of a busy bustling inn. It was not a sort of place she was used to, frankly, and keeping focus on the tasks and matters at hand was for her a driving force in keeping a level head right now. She did not want to make the others uncomfortable, for they might be the only allies she'd get here if fate had any hand in this, but at the same time the looming worry of how to handle all of this sudden change and situation in the long term (if it came to that) lingered in the very back of Sanaki's mind. Though from what she understood of Ms. Meteora's words, word of them and their acts and presence had spread like wildfire. The piercing, drill-like looks they gave and flashes coming from the small devices in the hands of those eating here was a sure sign of that.

Then again, she at least was used to such looks completely from her time in front of crowds, though this odd situation did make it a little more uneasy then she might've liked to feel. What's next, this world has a 'game' of some sort that features her? She heard the mention of such things on the way the UN.

Giant Lizard Whacka-Intenstines Begins...Maybe

As the scene continued, an odd trend was becoming apparent. The bodies were not disappearing anymore after a time had already passed into this "odd" invasion. Some sort of odd acclimation to a new world? The magic was running low? The true reasons could not be ascertained, but what could be was that between the new monsters bodies, the rubble, the dead people, and all of this mess was that it had to be stopped. Stopped as soon as possible. The whizz of helicopters and sound of bullet patter rang out as the UK military made their way increasing in towards the center as they began to gain some ground as the monster numbers began to thin a little bit. A tank or few could be heard rolling in from the edge as well, providing enough firepower to start to cut down the monster numbers more dramatically. Though it would still be a hard struggle to the end, even as one explosion could be heard as electrified arrows from some of the lizards managed to fry one tank as it had just begun to move into the area.

By now smoke in pillars was rising from the destroyed areas, some monsters still spreading damage as the army sought to contain it. And contain it they were doing at the very least. However, by now news helicopters were flying about, sometimes getting a bit close and being shot at, some hanging back a distance, others on the ground near the action as close as they could get. The news media was hounding the scene like starving dogs to a hunk of meat, and around the world images from new channels and international broadcasts of this live battle were tacked onto countless TV screens just like other incident likely would be as the world became aware of an all-too-odd situation.

Meanwhile, as Birdy smashed the shield over the creature's head, even the oddly-shaped metal shield bent from the strength of the blow and force of the impact. However, it was enough of a blow to get the creature to feel it and get her the attention she'd wanted, it seemed. The King Dodongo she had hit looked over to her, swiping out with its paw at her body as it gave a terrifying roar of attempted intimidation in her direction. Its mouth was filled with sharp teeth and a pair of fangs on the bottom, not something to be taken lightly....especially for a creature that constantly ate metal underground and incorporated this into its absurdly tough hide.

---

At the same time, Aile circled around as she finally reached the center as well, mopping up a few of the lizards charging at a group of four soldiers. The men seemed huddled behind cover smartly, some of them bloody from injuries, behind their few small piles of concrete rubble as they seemed to try to stand up to the smaller monsters and larger beasts....albeit somewhat futilely for the latter. As she then landed, one of the soldiers moved out, somewhat warily, gun held forward as he looked at Aile over a few times. It felt odd to her, but....perhaps these people hadn't seen armor like this before? Not that the people in her world were any different on seeing her, though not being shot at first was a potentially good sign.

"...Eh lads, stand down for a moment, she doesn't seem like one of them, or with em' for that matter," the soldier approaching Aile said as he lowered his weapon after a moment and turned to the other guys who carefully began to poke out of cover since they were safe for the moment, though he held himself upright and kept a composed and professional tone, "Who are you, or maybe what are you, and what are you doing here of all places? Are you from the same place as those thing?"

"I am not with those things....actually, i don't know where i am of all places. One moment i was home, and the next i am in this place falling from the sky, unfamiliar, strange, but i couldn't sit by and watch people get hurt when i saw these things start storming the streets," Aile said, trying to explain as best as she could, glancing over her shoulder at the larger enemies for a moment before looking back to the man, "Did you see anything that might be a weak point on those big ones?"

The soldier thought for a second, and then quickly nodded.

"Their hide takes grenades and bullets and everything we've thrown at them yet," the man said, before gesturing to one of the men near him who was trying to patch some arrow wounds up with one of his other two comrades, "But James over here hit one in the mouth and that seemed to get its attention for a moment. Then the little ones attacked us. Since then we haven't gotten a chance yet to repel the damn things, lost most my men but the few of us here to get to this point at all. Just got word the tanks are rolling in, but the resistance means they'll be a while longer before we get the firepower we need."

"Mmm....I know there's been someone else cutting through the smaller ones like i have, from what i've seen on the way here. I don't know about her, but if i or her could maybe get inside we could probably kill them too," Aile said, trying to make some sort of sense of the situation and what she'd seen so far.

That other woman seemed something else. Aile'd seem mechanoloids and such do a lot of damage, but this woman seemed to just rip through them with her bare hands. It was like a storybook she'd heard about in stores once back home, about a hero who fought off enemies with their fists. But with that in mind, if she herself and/or that woman could hit the vulnerable points of these things, not risking trying to cut through the outside in case it didn't work, then it at least was a chance they could try to end this fast. It was worth a shot, at least, before these things might spread farther since nothing had been able to stop them from leveling quite a nice sized area already to the ground.

The soldier looked at her for a moment, though after taking in her beam sabers once more and how easily they'd dispatched the smaller things in one go....he let a grin come onto his face. Motivation was motivation, and to the man this seemed to be an chance he and his men hadn't had so far in the battle for saving London here from the monstrosities. The headless corpses of four lizard-things sat on the ground around the young woman even.

[color=aquamarine]"I think we can arrange that, miss. It's hard to think someone so young can do what you have in front of our eyes, but if it stops these things before it gets worse then i believe we have a shot. A hell of a shot, but a shot,"[/aquamarine] the soldier said, before looking back to his last three men once more, the one having been patched up finally by now to some extent, "Men, we might have a chance to stop these things before the losses stack up. Get on the radio, James, and tell the others to look out for this young lady and another one out there trying to kill these things. Tell the others to get the big bastards to open up wide for those two. It's a damn gamble, but one potential hell of a result if this pays off."

The wounded and now patched-up man, James, nodded before going onto his radio and beginning to call out to the others. Aile couldn't hear what was being said, but at least it was an idea. Some hope for the situation at large if nothing else.

"We'll give you cover fire on the closest one, as least as much as he can till those little one try at us again," the man said, his grin brimming with confidence to try to boost his men's morale in this instance, "If anyone if the other guys out there give you hell about this, tell em' Captain Jonathan Woods sent you."

Aile smiled and gave a nod in return, unable to hold back at the man's attempt to inspire those around him and her to do their best in this. It wasn't a cartoon or fictional work in this, this was real, but anything to turn the tide could be a good thing she supposed. She...just didn't want any more people to die right now, really. Even as the seeming commander here piped up to her, though, his other two men were leveling their guns over the top of the rubble they had been behind, taking aim at the nearest giant lizard-sorta-thing without another word.

She was almost surprised the Biometals hadn't spoken up, but perhaps even they could read the situation if they startled what looked like trained soldiers. Trained human soldiers of all things, not robots protecting them. And in hindsight, she felt this was perhaps a good idea....maybe? She had no idea for sure, actually. But she wasn't going to waste her time.

As Aile then sped off from her location towards the nearest scaly beast, the sound of "pop pop pop" could be heard behind her, the two men taking fire at the eyes of the nearest large target. And sure enough, a few well placed shots and proper timing managed to make it look around, giving out a great roar at the before just annoying soldiers. Time to see if she could do this.

"Boosters are at full, and sabers ready....good luck, Aile," Model H said to her, a seemingly genuine hopefulness in its tone tinted into the usual calm and almost stoic composed tone it normally had.

She felt like she needed luck, even as she shot straight into the mouth of the beast just as it began to close. Her beam sabers were pointed forwards as well, as if to pierce into whatever came next....just as the beast's mouth finally closed behind her once it noticed something amiss beyond just the painful flies stinging its eyes from afar.

....

....

....

....

....

After a few seconds of closing its mouth, the King Dodongo seemed to stop moving. Then a lurch after another minute. Then another lurch as its body as a whole shuddered before the eyes of those nearby after another minute that felt longer than the first. It tried to take a step or two forwards towards the soldiers, but then all of a sudden collapsed onto the ground...limp. After a moment the mouth of the beast seemed to start to move, just a bit, as if...being move from inside? Eventually the mouth was pried open, a wash of beast blood and severed innards leaking out around Aile's feet as she held the dead King Dodongo's mouth open with her two hands, beam sabers put to the side. She too was covered in the nasty, smelly, purple monster blood, and the smell of digestive fluids was all over here. But as she stepped out of its mouth and took a breath of fresh air, she felt a wave of joy come over her that she managed to kill one of these things.

In there Mode H had notified her that the acids of the thing's stomach, after they were in them, were for digesting...metal it seemed? Though luckily the biometals were not normal metals, or at least were something that wasn't going to be broken down by this thing's stomach if naught else. It'd have been a nightmare otherwise....though the inside of that beast had been an "interesting" experience to say the least. She had almost switched to Model L's form if she could, just due to the dark and air-lacking innards of this thing. Though she'd quickly been pushed to remember that the biometals did help her breathe anywhere like water in general. Heh.

---

Meanwhile, whomever could among the other soldiers began to take aim at the eyes of the beasts closest to the two females. Others, however, were laden down with smaller enemies to be able to help. There was at least some support for them, perhaps? Had the captain's message worked? Considering the focus on the beasts nearest the two fighting females, it seemed the most likely idea that whoever could was trying at least. It wasn't much help, but the chance to take down these things before they killed more was perhaps a more desirable idea than shoving off help from seemingly out of the comic books.

Cymbeline Lockhart

"Yes, Captain i understand. I won't let you down," Cymbeline said, giving a respectful nod to Fannily as she noted the very real possibility that this situation could go for the better or the worse depending on what was done next. By Mayon, the mage's college itself could become involved, much more chasing after a dangerous and mysterious figure, if she could not do this safely.

But as she turned away once more, she moved to look at Sir Tiral's attempt to seemingly analyze the dark sigil. And for a moment she thought about potentially assisting in this effort for the moment, when a voice rang out in her head. "Don't try to move it. Get rid of it without moving it. Moving it will only make things worse." The words rang clear in her ear as if they were pure crystal shimmering in the sunlight, though their source was nowhere around her as she briefly looked to each side and noted no one was even close to her physically at her location save for the Earl. But if this was true, she had to act, have some faith in this mysterious voice calling out to her with seemingly good intent.

May the Captain forgive her if this next set of actions was not good. Yet at least this voice, whatever it was, seemed to provide some kind of clue as to how NOT to go about this.

"We don't need to try to move the curse either, or we could perhaps trigger something worse," she said, speaking aloud where the others in the immediate area among her comrades and fellow magic users could hear, not speaking of the voice in her head at the moment.

Turning back to the earl yet again, the mage took a single, deep breath to steel her nerves. Then picking up her left hand, she again began to quickly draw more sigils. But this time, not isolating ones as she had previously thought to do. If moving the dark curse here might mess it up, then isolating it or attempting to do so might potentially be dangerous too. Such was her train of thought on the matter. So this time, she was setting up an arrangement of sigils in the air for starting the very careful deconstruction process of the dark sigil. Not that setting this up was necessary, but was being done more so to be as detailed and careful about this as she could be. No sense rushing in like a fool to have things blow up in everyone's faces.

However, included with these was one more sigil in the array, meant to....try to redirect any potential secondary effects onto herself alone....or at least as much as could be. If thing went wrong, and this sigil was to strong for her one to redirect all the effects to herself, at least potentially taking some of the brunt might help? She felt she deserved to pay the price if her efforts backfired in the end, or at least needed to prevent harm to the others or the Earl perchance by putting herself in front of that harm first if it came down to it.

Once the circular arrangement was set up, she poured in her magical energy once more, causing the sigils to shine brightly but gently with an aura of blue glow. She was ready. Bit by bit, thread by thread it could be said, Cymbeline would then attempt to try to deconstruct the spell that had placed this curse on the earl. A look of intense focus came onto her face as she did her best to be as careful yet intricate in this matter as possible.

Hopefully the Earl would remain still for this as well, at least for his sake and that of the others here.

Elissa Lockhart

Elissa watched on in silence as her sister suddenly spoke out more about what not to do to this dark sigil, which seemed rather normal for Cymbeline but to her twin felt a tad...sudden to suddenly declare to the others aloud. Not that Elissa was enamored with Sir Tiral or such personal things, but at the same time he was older and she felt perhaps more experienced at this sort of thing than Cymbeline (her own twin sister) would be. So to not allow a more experienced senior among the knights to perhaps step in and fix the issue was to Elissa a negative action that was not proper in things. Albeit, this was all thought from an individual who more or less was on the side of having experienced hands leading the group instead of a young girl who just happened to be born on a certain day of all people.

Her sister had trained with those from the mage's college, true, and that was not something to be taken lightly for magical skills either she supposed. Her sister had always been good at the magical arts in a wider range than she herself knew them. If she was going to stop another's efforts like that, then she had better have a good reason, and might have a good reason in particular in this case. She had enough trust in her sister to not just stomp in there as if to discipline her, and in this case she hoped said trust would not be misplaced as it were. By Mayon, her sister was a formally trained mage who had taken up bow pretty much as a side arm for use in battle beyond just her magic so she wouldn't be utterly defenseless.

"You better know what you're doing," Elissa said, crossing her arms and muttering under her breath for her own sanity in this situation.

@Jangel13 Get better soon!
@Guy0fV4lor Yes, yes she did. XD

Her past life i felt would be fitting to be a crazy outdoorswoman with a penchant for carnal instincts. Decided to go wacky with what her past life was like for fun.
@Jangel13@Kheliop Posted!

And what Nyma grabbed is something i have seen in the woods myself a few times. A young tree growing, just young enough to be plucked out, strong enough to be used for whacking some things, flexible and strong enough to be useful. XD

If that's ok.
Nyma

Day 4: Afternoon

The sun seemed to be dipping in a distinct manner, indicative of the latter part of the day rolling right on along. Indeed, time did not seem to stop for anyone, herself and the other apparent new awoken Goblin included. It had been nice, hearing that old Goblin calling out to them a bit in wishing them safety, albeit wishes alone were not perhaps a guarantee in any manner of their safety. It was actually rather rash to rush out like this as she was, but from foggy memories of when her eyes first cracked open and unknown time ago, she had suspicions that she and this one were not the only awoken goblins. Or perhaps this was just a gut feeling since the cave had been so empty of activity in her initial looking over of the place.

Though as the other goblin who had seemingly been admiring plants just outside of the cave seemed to try to approach her, Nyma rolled her eyes where he couldn't see. She slowed her pace to allow the other goblin to keep up with her. It was a slight annoyance that she couldn't continue off in a chosen direction alone for the moment at least, but she figured that having another body around might be worth it with what daylight she had to wander about. Stopping finally in a rather small grouping of smaller, very young trees, Nyma began to feel which were still strong, still healthy, but might have some use as a bushwhacker of sorts for the time being due to their thickness.

"Pretty much. I'm Nyma, by the way. Wanna explore a bit, get the lay of the land around here before it gets dark. Lucky for us it seems it just hit the afternoon," Nyma said, responding in kind and essentially giving out her plans in hopes the other 'newborn' would be willing to tag along perhaps. It was an idea, at least.

Nyma then went back to checking, until finally among the newer growths she found a good specimen. Thick enough on the base to act like a small club, strong and healthy shaft with only a few tiny twigs growing out of it. Also gave her more reach to boot beyond her goblin arms. Useful for a bushwhacker, and perhaps small game to some extent. Maybe could be fashioned into a spear of sorts if she or another got their hands on something to sharpen this with. Though it seemed to have enough flexibility to it that...hmm, maybe once she got back, if she survived this little outing, she could think of if it had "that" potential. She was no weapons master, but it was an idea at the least.

Grinning to herself for just a brief moment, Nyma then pulled up the small and young tree, breaking off the smaller twig parts on the main shaft of it to make it look more like a smooth shaft of wood. Or rather, as smooth as a naturally=plucked straight enough shaft of wood could be. But the now ground-deprived new tree would have a purpose, yes. She gave it a few small swings, trying to get a brief feel of the very simple handheld weapon of sorts, before looking back around behind herself to the other young goblin again. Barth, he said his name was?

"You can come along if you want, could give us both a better idea of how the forest is laid out," she said in an inviting manner, gesturing to Barth before turning to the right, and beginning to dart off again in a direction that (unknown to her) was best described as 'directly northwards'.

@Jangel13@Kheliop

@Jangel13 Ah, will do from now on. ;)

Btw, i have work on Saturdays normally. Will also have work on Thursdays a week or two after tomorrow, due to schedule adjustments. Just to give a heads up.
@Jangel13 Well, got my first post in, i suppose. :P
Nyma

Day 1

At first, it was all simply a sea of darkness, hazy, like waking up from a deep slumber and a long-forgotten dream that would never return. Bit by bit her mind began to claw its way into consciousness, eventually leading to something coming to her mind. A name, "Nyma". Next was information on what she was, an understanding thereof. As her eyes briefly cracked open, a glimmer of green bodies, then looking down at herself and something brown and green tinted. Then the visage of something wrinkly, seemingly old as her mind would tell her. However, sooner than later the weight of sleep fell again upon her, eyelids closing once more and body returning to the peaceful slumber it had been enjoying prior.

Day 4

As Nyma finally came to for the second time, she glanced down at her body as it finally gave way this time around to allow her entrance into the waking world. Matured, not pudgy anymore, actually pretty....cute and sexy if she had to admit something about herself. Unlike the green she had seen days ago, she had a better view of her own green-tinted light brown coloration now. She felt her limbs and body for a second, simply to cement that this was real, before looking around herself at the cave she had been apparently lying in. Her eyes were drawn inevitably to the brightness that lied at the cave's mouth, and after some blinking and using a hand to shield her face for a moment she adjusted to the what was the light of day.

Standing up on her own legs, and stretching her arms, Nyma felt something pulling her. Perhaps not literally, but the small of plantlife, the sound of the wind whipping through the trees, something seemed to call out to her from that. Encouraging her to go, to roam, to explore away from where she had been lying within this inlet of rock. Heck, she could glimpse another Goblin moving about just outside of the cave as she walked towards the exit. As she stepped out of the cave, she looked at this other goblin, his skin a somewhat lighter green color, before giving a small shrug. It wasn't like her brain sensed danger in another goblin being there, but more than that she wanted to know what was going on in this forest they were in.

"What is going on around here i wonder," she mused under her breath to herself with a small grin, thinking that perhaps her first plan would be to investigate the immediate area. At least, as safely as she could to get an idea of the layout of things and such.

And with that, she darted off into the brush. It was time to do a little investigation, as it were.
