Chasing After A Japanese Man With A Chunni In Tow, Suttling's Basin, Priestella

@Ryofu@Rune_Alchemist

'....Oh my word i got brought here with a chunni,' Aerith thought to herself as she listened to the otaku-looking Japanese girl go on a minor, attention-drawing rant briefly. Internally, she wanted to sigh, loud and long, and try to let out the frustration she felt at that action. Though in reality, she merely gave a deadpan look at the other girl as she finally came around to a sensical statement.

She was about to say something in agreement to that statement as she tried to put on a casual mask for the occasion, but before that the Japanese man, who seemed to have some musculature from brief observation, smacked the other girl on the back of the head to cut her off. Oh dear. It seemed like the man had virtually seen a ghost with the look in his eyes as he had performed the action. At least, that was how it had looked to her, whether she was right or wrong about it. But the other girl's blush was enough to Aerith to show she had calmed down a...little at least. Looked kinda cute, actually.

Though beyond this, the man seemed to take off in a direction after agreeing with them on getting out of the slums and to a safer location. Whatever they could define as "safe location" at this point in an at least medieval and potentially/likely magical city. In this moment she could not help but roll her eyes lightly. Yet deciding to take initiative Aerith took a breath, grabbed the otaku-chunni girl's hand, and gave a playful grin to Chieko as she tried to drag her along quickly to chase after their fellow traveler. After all, they did not want to fall behind, and they wanted to get through this alive anywho.

"Hey, we gotta catch up! Unfamiliar place and all!" she said to the Japanese girl as she pulled her along.
Idea forming. Spider-web peeps make a floor trap, our dear Wolf Alpha killer can set maybe some basic traps. Anything else for hidden prep could be done.

Then lure trolls outside like the dumb lugs they are if they think its one or two goblins out there, and food is close, and then begin the chaos. XD

...eh, its a thought anywho.

Middle of Alley, Suttling's Basin, Priestella

In a flash, her world changed once more after taking the hand of the intimidating giant of black and dark flame before her. The street around her stank of sewage and the worst sorts of things, like a poor...medieval....community. An odd being as this Lord Talus was, as much as she didn't fully trust him, she knew one thing for certain. This all was real, and someone had some kind of love to bring her here....as well as others it seemed. Two others were on either side of her, one a tall man with musculature and the other a shorter girl who came off as what the internet would dub an "otaku" of some kind. They too did not fit in this setting, but if tropes were at least the bare minimum enough to go with to this little point...then they maybe had been spoken to by Talus as well. Or another being. Maybe. Most Likely. It was all the guess work she could go with for now.

The stares they got were nothing short of strange, though not unwarranted given their....sudden arrival. Eyes peering from houses, few walking around, and the gut feeling they needed to get out of this area they were in. Then again, that word "we" might not work in this case. Two other people, two totally different reactions than potentially her own....oh dear the ramifications of this were hitting rather hard now, weren't they? A tremor went through her body as she thought about it all. Ah, food, shelter, and what if this place had magic of some kind? Wasn't that how they got here in the first place.....Maybe?

Aerith clapped her two hands on her cheeks, waking herself back up from her minor stupor. She looked over to the taller man and the otaku-vibe-giving girl who seemed rather close to her own age.

"I suppose you two were told about love by some guy in an inky black darkness, and just appeared to here?" Aerith said to the other two, trying to speak before any other potentially....more hostile or panicked reactions. Not that she didn't have a sense of panic in her chest at all, as it still shone in her eyes a little, though attempts to focus were....keeping her head level enough for the moment she supposed, a bit of a mask for now also assisting, "Er, if so, to find out about where we just landed, we might want to get of this slum. It would make sense...unless anyone here wants to scream or shout, and draw us more attention."

It honestly sounded kinda rude, and rather blunt and eerily to the point. Those were the thoughts that came into her mind about her words....but honestly she had no idea how else to go about this. It was like those survival situations talked about on certain TV shows, where if you didn't get your head about you it could go badly. Or if it was like an anime, cause you to run into an important character. Not that all the anime rules applied here at all, as this situation was very much real it seemed. But hell she was using what she could to keep her wits for the moment being, even if it sounded stupid, this after having been thrown out of the world she had known all her life without warning like this.

Then again, Talus had mentioned love.....did someone here truly love her so much? That question just didn't seem to leave her mind, did it? But she wanted to meet this person, speak with them. Try to understand why they loved her so much for this to happen...why said person potentially loved the others here with her as well, honestly.

Er, if her guess was correct.

Maybe.

....Crap.

@Ryofu@Rune_Alchemist@BrokenPromise

@BrokenPromise@Red Alice

@BrokenPromise (O_O) Wow this place exploded in numbers fast.

I am curious about here, so i, er, have a couple questions if that is ok.

1. Is there any more room? I suppose potentially in the non-native realm of things. XD

2. I do have another question too, though. Any limits on the flow and such of non-natives?

Thank you for your time. ^^;
I have posted!

Ah, but a poisoned spear, night hunting, trolls.....More importantly, considering what Gina's plans sounds to be, and what everyone else is doing, this might end up being rather chaotic. ^^;
Nyma

Day 5

Gird did not truly have to tell Nyma to stash to corpses for now, as the female Goblin had gotten right away to work on the task at hand since Luz had started talking. She too could see the auras in the distance, and her first instincts were to follow these life force signatures deeper and see what was actually going on around here. Aside from the sounds of something rather big running away with haste in the distance. Already the female spider corpse had been strung up from a high tree branch, hanging in the air where predators would not be able to get it. The weight of the male on her back and her own weight had been enogh to hoit it up and hang it on a thick, high-up tree branch out of reach. Likewise, she was currently in the process of getting the smaller male spider's body strung up over a thicker high-up branch for the same purpose, albeit this was easier than the other spider body. She'd dipped her spear end into the poison of the male's poison sac, though, so she'd have a poisoned weapon before stringing him up to come get later.

The technique of stringing up food and resources out of the reach of predators felt so natural to Nyma, like she'd done it many times before. Perhaps one perk of being a Goblin, she surmised. Then again it made sense to keep the bodies out of reach of the predators that might find them. Though some small rocks attached to strings of web was how she'd been able to get the initial strings over the branches anywho, with some well=placed throws. It had taken a little time to finish her task anywho, but Nyma hadn't lost all sight of Gird's signature in the distance, keeping an eye out from the corners of her eyes, just to be safe.

"Alright, its getting darker, but i'm gonna sneak along and see where Gird is headed. Dipped my spear in some spider venom just in case," Nyma said to Barth and Luz nearby, before beginning to sneak along as softly, carefully, and quickly as she could to follow Gird and the other life force signatures to wherever it was they were headed to.

Kira Moonchaser

Great Hall of the Ardent Heralds

So this was it, huh?

The end of Yggdrasil, the end of this game she had poured hours and hours into. But, well, that seemed to be the fate of games like this, they had their run, and then....burned out. Like a flicking flame amidst a blizzard, perhaps, though maybe that was a little too poetic about it all.

4

It was the end of a long, happy dream, one filled with frustrations and losses, victories and achievements. All the guilds she'd seen, all the places she'd been, the fights she had been a part of. Currently she was relaxing against a wall at the front of the Ardent Heralds guild.

A nice little place, a welcoming guild for newbies, a place for veterans to ply their craft and teach the newer players. A month before this day she had joined the guild, simply to have a place to be when the closing would occur. Of course she had enjoyed the small fun of doling out help to other new players, those trying to see how far they could get from level 1 before the game closed. Some who were looking around for the first time, the brief span of time before this wonder would close.

3

She'd taken one of the odder paths of Jobs classes, for sure, having to learn a good deal of healing spells regardless to be able to hop into groups. Though it was not like she was useless on her own. She had made innumerable golems and summon them during her time in this game, and had risen to the very top to be able to create the best of the best. The Strongest Golem. Not that she had the time to do so, though she could if she wanted. Or perhaps in the end it was that she hadn't cared to do so, as she instead enjoyed more the pride to have simply gotten to this point.

Looking down at the ten glimmering rings, their composition almost possessing the aura of the moon's gentle rays at night, or the sun's brilliance during the day. They didn't actually glow in the dark or anything, but each was adorned with a different gemstone that was more precious and beautiful than their more common counterparts. Each ring engraved with intricate designs of heavenly events and such things as angels or the creation of golems or rays of light peeping through the clouds. Works of art, all of them.

2

Perhaps she could save up money to buy a set of rings that looked like these. She had pictures on her computer for it, when she had first acquired the set. More like screenshots, really, but it could be fun. Gaudy, but....worth it. Ten little reminders on her fingers of a world where anything was possible and the boss wasn't always nagging someone around the office. Heh.

At least in the game she'd been able to fulfill the pleasures of her desire. Treats, items, company, fufufu~

Ah...she truly wanted more time to think, to ponder, to savor the moment. But this was really it...the end.

ITS TIME TO WAKE UP

Then the world turned upside down.

Sudden cold, chilling winds, opening her eyes to find herself in the snow of all things. And she....shivered. N-No way! This was not something possible in the game! She briefly, desperately tried to open a menu, find a logout by any means possible....but nothing showed up. Nothing showed up no matter how hard she tried. This was bad, this very, very, VERY bad. At first her mind went to thinking this was some kind of glitch, that the admins and developers would pop in and fix this right away....but there was no sign of them. No sign of this being the game itself even.

As the others rushed into the Great Hall and assembled, she ran in as well. To get out of the cold. Blast it that she never got the enchant on her attire to protect her from weather effects. Not even her darling battle maid was here, missing in action after having been sent off to check the woods....and Kira having forgotten to call her back in the last countdown. Though that was not the most pressing issue, albeit it was a concern within her mind. As she sat at the table with the others here who had come in, she began to calm down more. Then more. Then enough to try a bite of the cooked meat on the plate before her...and it was juicy. Tender, well-seasoned, part of the feast that had been prepared in here but all the same delicious. The warm feeling as it went down her throat and settled in, ah.

She began to eat what was on the plate in front of her a bit more, bread and meat and veggies and such, as she listened to what the others were saying. She wasn't going to overeat right now, albeit her character was supposed to have a high metabolism normally, though this bit was helping her keep a better head in this for the moment, to soothe the initial panic. At least until she could wrap her mind around what was going on enough to chill-...wait. There was a strange, but more than plausible idea at this venture. There was at least a few anime like this out there she'd heard of, or watched even. Isekai. Being sent to another world! Or other anime where people were left trapped in video games. Odd ones, not ones she'd watched often if not rarely, but she'd read up on them a good bit!

As a certain zealously enthusiastic individual was saying, this was all real, physical....tasty when it came to the food by the way.

"Overzealous. It seems....well, the others have pretty much summed it up. Not only has this guild house seemingly been moved to another, very different place, but all of this feels, or rather is real it seems. The food, the weather out there, even the NPC's seem more "alive" than they were before. As stupid as it sounds to say, this seems like one of those anime where people gent sent to a different world, but in this case...it is very much real. Can't even get menus to log out, but it seems i can still access my inventory." the Dark Elf said after swallowing some food and wiping her mouth out of habit with a napkin, projecting her voice more professional but relaxed tone she usually used in the game when dealing with formal matters, though obvious hints of her disbelief at this situation were audible in her voice regardless.

This all even as a wave of relaxed feelings and such washing over her...kinda like she was Kira herself now, really. Actually, rather literally now. Though at least the guildmaster was at least now getting about things when it came to doling out orders and trying to ascertain things. Good, that was good. A step in the right direction. But if this was all real...well, they needed someone able to get things moved, people even, as required.

Then again, her real body was gone.....albeit she had Kira's body now. Name too. The figure, the sexy bust, ah...this might not be so bad then? But then again-

-what kind of topsy-turvy anime had they fallen into?!?!

"I'll volunteer to go with you, I have teleportation spells and Gate, in case we need to get back here in a hurry, or bring anyone back for that matter. I can leave a golem outside just in case as well, at least blocking the wind in front of the doors if nothing else," the dark elf said when the guildmaster, standing from her chair before pushing it in and standing behind it, leaning a bit on the back of the tall seat even as she had been speaking.

This was an emergency, so focus. Yes, that would help her keep her head better, rather than eating more of what little food they had. Though what little bit she had was enough to put some warmth into her body. Not that eating that slow-roasted pork hadn't been divine, no pun against Zeal intended, but still focusing on the tasks at hand was good. In fact, the more she was here, the more she felt that sort of carefree, relaxed, hedonistic personality assert, but doing so naturally like a flowing river.

@Jangel13 I never said they could handle it all....just maybe help hinder them in a sense is all at least. XD
