@Izurich@ERode

Arriving at the scene rather quickly, Annabelle wasted no time in tapping a foot on the ground as she watched the spirit flit about. Well, fleeing. In her direction. With blind terror. Out from the inky orb floating around her poured darkness, a darkness infused with the essence of "the Void" itself. A barrier she was forming in the air that would erase all that touched it, though in this case her lord was involved in it as she could feel. He was making it where the essence of the spirits would be gathered to him in this case as the spirits were "erased" so he could conserve that portion. Annabelle began to walk forward, the barrier twisting and stretching before her as it absorbed the fleeing spirits, the large amount of them doing such in the face of this....other magical girl who had seemingly consumed the bodies of the slain people.

It was such a macabe thing to do she got a bit giddy over it.

"Ooh! Boss, is she the servant of someone similar to ya? Is she? Is she?"

At first there was silence, before the back part of her orb facing her seemed to open up towards her.

'Indeed, my servant. Such consumption and endless hunger i feel here, this variant i know of in only one particular being. For now, proceed as you would normally.'

A hum came off of the red-robed girl's lips, the wail of fleeing spirits who clambered into her barrier without looking was....a delicious thought as it were. Ah, only made her want that burger she was craving back at the base. Regardless, she pulled back the barrier after a bit, the black wall shrinking back into the orb it has emerged from. Eerie, but normal for Annabelle when it came to her work. Her boss didn't seem to be worried at all about the situation, so she wouldn't be either. Seemed rather reasonable a thing to do anyways.

Though the other girl seemed to be stabbing up some of the strays she hadn't taken up, and that was fine. She wasn't here to fight them over dead bodies or anything. She'd gotten a good haul of spirits in the meantime, and that seemed to be the case since her boss was usually silent when she was doing a good job unless he wanted to say something about things. Interesting habit, and she didn't mind. However, it seemed the other two were about to have a showdown of sorts. Simply with her orb near her, Annabella put her hands behind the back of her head and sauntered over with a casual stance and a grin on her face.

"Cmon' girls, you're both pretty, honest," Annabelle said, grinning nearly ear to ear now before she continued to speak, her voice becoming a little sing-song after she continued speaking, "Though it looks like soooooooomebody poked at a local taboo here if i had to guess~"

Nina Kujo and Alice Honorsby

"Mmmf?" Alice said, a grimace on her face as she swallowed her last bite of breakfast, continuing to watch with her scope and its abilities at the scene, "Seems a confrontation's goin' on. Someone with little bat wings decided to eat up dead bodies, maybe, after putting up a barrier, another one with a sword seems to be confronting her. Then some other freaky girl with a barrier walked up and snatched up a lot of those spirits, maybe most of em' or just a good amount of em'. Hard to tell from ere'."

Cannibals. Any magical girl who partook in the consumption of other humans was a cannibal, even if they had been twisted into a monster in her mind. She'd seen some in the past, a couple of whom had just simply gone insane to stoop to that level. Some mostly served horrors of some kind, or other beings that sought to taste the flesh of mankind among such things. Disgusting. As much as she didn't flinch at such things, it was still as ever disgusting to her as a concept.

".....Yare yare. See how the fight goes. Or if they even fight," Nina said in response, body having frozen at the idea of cannibalism catching her attention abruptly in the middle of cleaning dishes in the sink. However, her tone had a rather subtle tone of disgust to it, which combined with the furrowed brows was a sign of her anger. A minor sign, but as Alice knew by the tone it could escalate soon depending on how the situation went.

She'd heard Alice's opinions on such things, and she was of a similar mindset. Disgusting filth, garbage of the higher kind. However, losing her cool right here on it was stupid. Yare yare, daze. She couldn't believe that such a situation was developing now as she wanted to just get back to watching her channels for the moment, at least until that little chuuni of a patron of her and Alice came back to them with the next mission. But if it was "wait in line for this new anime being sold at this store" for the second time this week.....well, she would have words with the goddess. Few but strong words.

Finishing Healing the Sick And the Weary

It had been a spar, nothing more. Runes had taken care of things quite nicely, and his opponent had seemed to stomp off in a fury. Such was the nature of things of this particular thing. His opponent was strong, yes, a worthy test and opponent to be sure. But his priorities lied elsewhere after this. There was that riot and such details of it his Revelation told him of when using his runes to gain temporary "Clairvoyance" again, though the masters and humans were better left to it for now. There were civilians to assist in his line of work, for such was the job of a hero. Heroes brought salvation, they fought against fate, they brought miracles to bear. Such was the nature of a heroic spirit in general, such was their duty as proper heroes at least. Even the mundane-seeming tasks were of note.

So to this end, after the fight he'd gone over to where the train wreck had occurred. Using healing runes, he had begun to create circles or runes around the survivors to heal them in groups. Another servant seemed to be there as well, and the most Sigurd had done was ask him and Gudrun (if she weren't already out healing others too) to help ferry people into the circles after the people were stabilized first. Streamline the system. Create an order. Smooth transition of one group to another into his circles. Production line, a creation of humanity that would serve this situation well in the end with the application of ancient magic. An ironic thing, really.

For hours Sigurd tirelessly worked, his runic circles being used to heal otherwise, to get out old bodies from wreckage and respectfully lay them out and cover their faces as seemed to be a future custom for respecting the dead in these incidents. These people from the land known here as Japan, they didn't deserve this. He could know the right words to say to comfort them at times, his skill being useful for this, and by the time morning had cracked....the dawn overlooking the horizon.....Sigurd had done more than an army of modern men could have. With his own two hands he had even sorted wreckage out and repaired/strengthened the tracks as best as he could with his runes. Innumerable faces had been healed in groups in his circles, the dead had been placed to the side with respect away from the tracks near the scene.

And yet his determination never changed. His hands kept up their works. His mind kept on track. Temporary clairvoyance gained to be used along with his revelation was used a combo he applied once in a while to note the situation here and how things were developing elsewhere. There was a lot, but this city did not deserve to die. This bastion of human work had become something, only for the greed of dragons and such things to interfere. His pride as a hero meant he could not ignore this, the pleas of the common man here as well.

The call of the Grail was there, Gudrun was ever by his side again now, and he didn't even seem to break a sweat in his activities. To fight "that" man again would arrive, and many others had yet to be tested for their worthiness for the Grail.

But in the end, he had done his job as a hero, and finally now wrapping this up here would be a nessecity before he moved on.

"I think that about wraps up this disaster."

Nothing more needed to be said, really, at this venture.

Dealing With A Salty Chunni Heroic Spirit, Ajax's Grave

"Gudrun, dear, there is someone coming for me. You have likely sensed it too. If you wish to be involved, so be it. But i do not wish to see you fall here."

That was all he had said ahead of time, plenty ahead of time before what came next. It was abnormal for him to say, and yet for Gudrun's sake he spoke like a proper husband in this instance.

"SIEGFRIEEEEEEEEEED!"

That name. Ah. Indeed it was "that" man who had mistaken him for that "other" heroic spirit then. It made sense, the fire, the rage like that of a beast, that armor which was a Noble Phantasm, this particular tactic of attacking method. He had seen this ahead of time, looking a bit into the future between a combination of Revelation and his temporary Clairvoyance. He had seen the results of the battle between the Achaean and Japanese Prince as well and such things as what was to come for this battle. To Sigurd, a hero on par with King Arthur, it was of no consequence to battle this man. In fact, it was both a test and a battle, a setting of combat that would allow their mettle to be tested. His beloved sword, at least for now, was not necessary to use.

Had he chosen to do so, this man would be dead in the air before he even hit the ground.

Runes Activated: All 18 Original Runes Deployed. Runic Shield Created.

A barrier, one that could block a high-ranking Noble Phantasm and fully defend against it, was deployed in an instant at the right moment. The right moment that the attack could not be diverted in time, and that the protection of this barrier would be up before any harm could come to he or Gudrun. Primarily the latter. Such was the nature of Sigurd's skill with runes. So as his opponent would make contact, he would never get through. It was a simple as that.

"You cannot discern that i am not actually 'that' man, hmm? Ah, but you likely do not care it would seem either way."

And there was his lecture for the day. At least, to this man.

The poorest section of town, dirty alleys, run-down buildings, but still it had the cheapest rent for apartments. That was nice. Regardless, instead of a low-rent apartment here, or a better one in the nice parts of the city of Penrose, Soth had guided her here. Here to set up base in an old building, a former school that had been replaced with a newer one on the better side of town. Place some sigils here, place some sigils there, draw this pentagram here, a diagram there of something else, write a bit in blood on the walls in an alien language. Boom, her patron had total influence over this old school building from the tip of the roof down to the bottom of the basement. Even a bit on the grounds of the school outside of the building. It had taken a few days for him to toy with what he could do there, but in his usual fashion he had fashioned the school into a base without making it look any different from the outside.

Inside, one of the first floor classroom had been converted into a proper bedroom/living room as Annabelle had gone out to buy furniture and such. Couches, giant bed, cozy sheets, a fridge, carpets placed on the floor, the works so to say that with some nudging here and there include free satellite TV with rather good reception here due to her patron's advice. Some minions were kept manning the cafeteria, others were repairing the place inside to a proper stable state and reinforcing it with magic and magic circles and sigils and even other physical materials. Many minions were left merely prowling the halls at her patron's command, or even worked installed washing machines or such in the basement that had been salvaged and restored by magic from elsewhere. All this after the building had been brought under his influence. Regardless, from the outside it would remain the appearance of a harmless, abandoned building.

It had taken days after arriving here to get this far, but he base was as good as ready by now. Albeit, now was her first mission from her patron in this new city, at least following this initial one of "secure a base of operations in the manner i will instruct you in". The school being the base after that first mission upon getting here to Penrose had been ironic, but now there was something going on. Something....exciting~

'Annabelle, there are some spirits amok in the city. I am sending you the coordinates mentally, since this new domicile of yours has become my domain. Destroy as many as you can, so that i may acquire their essence. But seek to minimize the human lives lost if you tear the spirits out of them. I'd prefer you not to be hunted so soon after arrival.'

"Kay' boss. I'll see what i can get, haha," Annabelle said in return to her patron's voice as it echoed into her head and a slightly errie smile came to her face, having been lying back on her new couch and watching the latest Food Channel shows.

Jumping up, the mind-bent magical girl felt the rush of blood from her head, giving a light giggle at the sensation.

"Enter the Void, and let darkness descend from the heavens.”

In an instant darkness, deep, seemingly endless darkness had wrapped her body in it like a cocoon, before removing itself and leaving her standing there in her transformed state. Though her eerie smile had shifted to a Cheshire grin that almost seemed to stretch from ear to ear. Finally. There was something to do. There was some things to go kill, or some enemies to fight, she didn't much care so along as she finally got to so something else after all these days of sitting about. Not that she hadn't needed a break, though, but all play and no work made the free time more boring to her. Though she could always raid the cafeteria again for food. Maybe that triple-decker "Kitchen Sink" burger she'd seen today could be made there, since the place had been restocked by her patron. Ooh, that could work nicely.

Blitzing out of her room and down the hall at speed, Annabelle burst out from the back double doors before taking off towards the scene. Ah, spirits again, eh? This would be interesting. Most interesting. Though what would a being who was the Void itself want with the energy of spirits? Meh, wasn't her time to ask questions or such, really.

Nina Kujo and Alice Honorsby

"Yare yare, daze. Alice, Someone's gone out of their way to unleash spirits on people? What a waste of time, a call for attention by some brat," the slightly annoyed but disinterested tone of Nina Kujo rang out as she sat at the dinner table of her and Alice's apartment.

Alice had been looking out of the window of their rather high-floored apartment using her rifle and mainly its scope, the apartment having been procured by the two girls' Patron and being bigger than anything "past her" had seen during a trip to Japan. It was comfortable, but at times boring. Having just arrived in this city yesterday, it had taken a little bit to fill up things here and the fridge at that. Annoying, but at least breakfast today had been nice. Eggs and bacon, bit of soy sauce on them. She'd told Alice to come eat, but the other girl had kept looking out the window. Perhaps old habits died hard?

But Alice had told her something interesting as she had been observing a few places. Something about a magical girl, the unleashing of spirits.

"You're right, but the local girls might take actions sooner than later. We could always pick off a few, get a bit of payment afterwords," the red-headed magical girl said, already in her form by this point due to having had to be in it to use her rifle, lightly adjusting her rifle's position in the process and the scope as if it was nothing but an everyday habit, "I can hit em' from ere', but you might wanna get close for the action. Ey, punchy?"

"Oi, for now let's just look and see if others show up. If no one does i'll get out there. Such a bother," the white-haired girl said, taking another bite of bacon and soy-sauce coated scrambled eggs as she kept to her seat.

"Hi bother, i'm dad," Alice said, a smirk coming to her lips as an annoying sigh reached her ears, "Look, i'll tell ya if it gets worse, ok? Just bring my breakfast over here......please? Extra pepper on top."

Alice could tell Nina was rolling her eyes right now, but kept silent as a small grin came to her face when the sounds of a chair being pushed back and the clink of plates and scooping of food came to her ears. She didn't have to look to know what Nina was doing, but she was thankful the other girl was willing to bring the breakfast over. If push came to shove Nina would step up to the plate without a doubt to save the people. She'd seen it more times than not, so many by now it was like the two could read each others' minds. Haha.

But jumping in on this new turf, and not knowing the locals here yet, that was scary. Some magical girls were...terribly territorial, and some could be just happy for the added help. Some Patrons didn't like it, some did. And many a thing in-between could also be the case. She was used to how things worked, so much so it was almost scary. She hadn't been seven anymore for a very long time, and thinking about it that could be rather scary....if one took to thinking too hard on it anywho.

@Ariamis Added untransformed appearances based off of a coupe convenient google searches. :P

If i ever get too crazy wit the spirits' powers, yeah i would need to be stopped so i can tone it back down. Many thanks!

As for the scrying through her scope, since its seen through the limited field of vision of the scope in that sense it is limited. See specific targets and its follows them, zoom your view around to look about the place remotely, zoom in and out from what you are looking at overall in locations, but just the basic things really. @Ryofu@Rune_Alchemist@Althiel@BrokenPromise

"Nice to meet you, Chikeo! I'm Areith-"

Aerith had been just starting to introduce herself as she drug the other girl to follow the Japanese man out of this area. Though it didn't seem like they were going to get too far. Clacking sounds of armored boots, something leaping over them with inhuman skill and strength and landing in front of them. An armored knight, who had apparently used magic if the explosions and such actions of his had been as clear as they were. Albeit, he seemed to talk to them as if they were fugitives after blocking their path. Oh no. Oh nonono. The first part of these kinds of anime, a trope that in real life was all too true.....they stood out like sore thumbs. Badly. Attire aside, they had been running as well, and regardless of their good intentions it would seem that didn't help them blend in any better.

'Shit.'

Though, a bit thankfully, the armored knight's companion seemed to approach them in a more...'polite' manner than her compatriot had. Though her words brought some clarity and worry to Aerith's mind. A "malevolent aura" apparently existed within them, and intense one that had apparently been detectable by magic (which she assumed these two had). Wait. Talus. Was it Talus' power that had done this to them? Was it....was it the one who had wanted her brought here? The one who....loved her? It was odd, very odd indeed, but keeping that mask on Aerith simply gave a polite nod to the nicer of the two knights.

Play the situation. Keep it peaceable. Please, for the love of whatever got us brought here, don't mess this up you two.

"An aura that bad? I don't think we even knew, but that's a bit...worrying," Aerith said, her tone cool and casual, genuine in sound but supported by that mask of hers to cover her other thoughts and such up, giving Chieko's hand a small subtle squeeze to hope she got the idea and hint, being careful to not make sudden actions or such that might come off negatively, "Ah, but my name is Aerith. We are not from around here, foreigners to this land you could say. So this has all been a bit...jarring so far. Such that we wanted to see if we could find a place of reference, which was the reason for our great haste. But if these auras you speak of worry you, we can cooperate peacefully. It's no problem at all."

Please let them get the idea. Please let them get the idea. Please, oh please, oh please let them work with me here. Such were the thoughts of the teenager, who as much as she wanted to keep moving didn't want to....die. Here. Because of the others. Or see them die, for that matter, since it was not exactly good for Chieko and this other guy whose name she didn't know. Though they were all strangers, and this was a thing. Ah. This was not the best start so far.

@Ariamis@PlatinumSkink

It is done. My last magical girl, and her trusted ally by her side.

Took forever to work out, but everything was rolled for these! :D

Saber: Sigurd, the Dragon Slayer

Observing The Place Where Two Heroes Clash

Runes Activated: Clairvoyance Rank "A" acquired

Well, it was a good thing he had activated this on the way here. The dragon had fled, a thing he was able to see ahead of time, but something else had come to light. A battle. One between two warriors, one of this land and the other of a place far away. The latter had crushed part of this town on his own soaring down from the sky like a dragon upon prey. He had come for the dragon, but it seemed that matter had been resolved by the one who wielded the sacred sword of this land which bore power over the winds. Interesting. "Kusanagi", as the winds flowing around had told him, virtually screaming the name as it were along with the thrum of this land and the songs of the birds.

So at the scene, Sigurd stood a respectful ways back from the fight between the Achaean hero and heroine of this her native land, though they'd be able to see him if they looked to where he stood with his wife. Gram wasn't even out, for it was not worth the time. He would observe the mettle of these servants as their test, to see what occurred and how they handled themselves. Of course he knew much more had been going on around him and otherwise, a vibrant thrum of activity from attacks again "that" tree to that living abomination of a forest being as it was. Even a mask out there upon a boat that had done something rather interesting, actually.

But so many problems remained. So many still existed. If it were not for his blade, one could have been dealt with right now. But since the dragon was not dead, then yes he had something to work with here. He would see where and when it would return, the one who carried the dragon's blood and could manifest it that is. Unless something else came up first.

Regardless, as the chaos of this battle and around him in this war was not new to Sigurd himself, twas' merely another day of being a hero.

Following the Catgirls Into the Land of the Ice and Snow

"Tarot: The Magician"

After casting the spell, she placed her card back in the pouch with the rest at her side. It was A smaller, localized use of this spell, a first tier fire spell even, for keeping one's self warm in the cold. At least, for the time being as they set about this. It surely made the cold that much more bearable, and not being very heavy she could walk on the snow following Merius rather comfortably. Though as the three paths were presented before them, the golemancer pouted a bit before pointing up to the goat trail.

"Understood, and i'll keep in contact. If we need help moving about i've got fly, though hovering over the snow would be the best if it came to that due to the weather," the dark elf said, at first being serious but then switching back to her usual self after acknowledging what Merius said competently, her pout intensifying for this, "I'm no tracker, though, but unless we want to turn back to the guild that little trail there seems the most stable."

She had been resisting the internal urge to add 'is that ok, mom?' as a snarky comeback to be aimed towards Merius herself.

Then again, she had the Gate incident not long ago to reflect on if she needed a giggle. Though looking to her own right and seeing Neb making those mocking signs behind Merius' back, that was funny! Haha. She could barely stifle a giggle at that point, putting her hands over her mouth. As much as it was a serious situation, she didn't want to freak out either about all of this. Not that she hadn't noted the serious matters before this little stifling of her own giggles.
