Gunfire by the bullet, bang-bang by the chase, an inhuman policewoman thrust to the chase. Not much by its base, buckled to the ace, what's happening was merely a chase.
"You really have to play that song?!...AGAIN!" Fleeing from the law for nearly just a minute, endangered the streets of Shinjuku, as explosions of majestic grandeur by the Sun Hashira's dramatic escape, prompted pursuit of multiple police cars as his car, zoomed and drifted away.

"Can't say I didn't warn ya, Dragonboi and you ain't slithering away this time. Besides, I do love me some psycho woman!" The Sun Hashira brazened himself with arrogance of the sun, as he continue to mock the restrained & unlikely ally.

"Kamado, stop provoking The Informant. Oyakata-sama has warranted Uzui-chan to protect him. Just drive." The Water Hashira, reprimanded the arrogant Sun out of his wit, as a subtle bloodlust, oozed inside the car.

A Nichirin knife was held up against The Informant's throat, from the backseat.

There're no words to be heard in this panel but utter muted words to be unlocked as a point of plot in a distant and riped future. What was visibly & viscerally seen; The Water Hashira slitted the throat of The Informant, at some intervals, beheaded as the Water Hashira uttered words that is soon to reveal itself. Blood splattered in the windows, from the outside view.

The calm and composed Water Hashira, went against orders but why?

"Master..." The Water Hashira's Disciple, a Breath of The Moon Swordman, called her attention and she did a finger gesture towards the boy, to turn off a phone call from the Mirage Hashira.

"I know, don't bother asking me what's next, Eizo. I'm nothing like Oyakata-sama and we're nothing alike the rest of the Corps'."

"Guen! This is weird! I could've sworn they were behind us! Now they're in front of us! The Sun Hashira was contuzzled with the sudden disorienting.

"Kamado, keep driving...Eizo and I will slay this bitch." Guen and Eizo stepped out of the car, and found foothold at the car's rooftop, ready to engage their pursuers from afar.

The Policewoman smirked along with a sinister smile as she stepped out of the car with her men.

The Demon Slayer Corps has amassed its numbers since the 1920s, after the great ordeal with the Former Demon King, Muzan and while there're branches under the big tree, some don't even get along and went their separate ways.

20-years ago, Tsugikuni Michikatsu succeeded, taking over Japan, instilling what is called, the Yakuza Revolution. With enough scheming behind the scenes & an Owl in the Japanese Government, he delivered a double edged sword; one so great as one bad move, exposes the existence of Demons & their Hunters. That deception tactic was outlawing the Demon Slayer Corps behind closed doors, with no appeal or whatsoever. However, it didn't stop there, the eternal rivalry between Demon & Hunter, only ever grew stronger.

Their heated rivalry was not only a test of time, but also an inseparable ties to fate, just as how darkness & light, vermillion & azure, good & evil, & most especially, the Sun & Moon.

There are seven branches, standing tall across Japan yet for the past 60-yrs, none has ever killed a Blood Moon, Demon Lord. Once upon a time, 27 Branches of the Demon Slayer Corps, existed, but their war with the Blood Moons - had too many casualties. From Kantō — there's Tokyo, from Kansai, there's Kyoto and Osaka, and then the entire Kyūshū, making it the biggest branch, then from Shikoku & Tōhoku.

In Shinjuku, Funachi — spearheaded an expedition, 3-years ago. The Oyakata of Tokyo assigned the Sun Hashira, Moon Hashira and Dragon Hashira to spy in the confines of Wasegawa University, The Western Dragon Nightclub & The Shibuya Crossing.

It was said that with enough Hashira to covering the mission, it would've taken months, and now it's been three years.

Furthermore, with the recent death of the Moon Hashira, any information regarding the Funeral Parlor, has been lost and died along with the late Moon Hashira.

Tensions're running high, when the Metropolitan Shinjuku-Funachi Police Force began prying on their activities.

We're really nothing alike. Guen values her personal space, keeping a nonchalant image for the most part. She's quick to pickup social cues and addresses them as unfiltered as possible. Aware of the fact that her words are cold and hurting, this is her way of caring.

A descendant of the Taishō Era's Water Hashira, like the predecessor before her, a chord of sadness struck her life. Borne into the House of Tomioka, Guen was fated to forge a bloodpaved path & although thankful for having her family intact, she is gripped with sadness, witnessing how others lose theirs. She's even said to be the luckiest person in the corps for having a complete family alongside her luck streak in gambling.

This guiltridden sentiment and perspectives, rushed down like the rabids from the river as she succumbed to negative peer pressure. Guen closed her heart shut and distanced herself from the corps, all throughout her early days until her late fiance came. The previous Moon Hashira, Tsugikuni Hikaru, who's been Guen's anchor for seven years has died recently, specifically on the day of their wedding. Interrupted like as if fate was just that cruel, Guen finally felt loss that's directly related to her & not so long months after, she felt a tide of vomit down her throat, when she's told of her miscarriage. Eventually, Guen wallowed in depression, so much so, avoiding Hikaru's little sister, blaming herself for his death.

Despite her indifferent attitude towards her peers, she's among the core leaders of the Hashira, having been deployed in other regions.

^{F l a m b o y a n c e} : Guen is a practitioner of Water Breathing & the Water Hashira of her era, just like her predecessor, who've created the 11^th Form — Guen created a 12^th Form.

Guen created the 12^th Form to fully conceal her presence in a microsecond & rush down like a Waterfall, all attacks are nullified as she uses the footwork of Thunder Breathing & inspired by Dead Calm's lull, foes may hit a mirage, as the real one is circulating 7 consecutive hits to the vitals — throat, solar plexus, heart, stomach, groin, kneecaps and wrists, in no particular order, and while she's doing so, foes have no way to deal damage against her.

Breath of The Cold |【冷の呼吸】 (Rei no Kokyū) is among the numerous derivatives of the Breath of Moon. Thematically, the cold sends shivers to ones spine, playing the intimidation tactics of foreboding bloodlust. It's coldblooded like the sweet serving of revenge, best when it's cold, it is Guen's recently developed Style.

Although it seemed like an irrational walking death wish for the users, it's more-so paradoxical. The Breath of The Cold is vaunting while also taunting – it incites fear as so does challenge. Once foes are drawn towards the fowler's snare, it is likened to; a once noisy forest, followed by sudden dead silence. Before anything else, one has already fallen prey, realizing it too late, as the hunter becomes the hunted and the vulnerable, devoured.

Leaving only the Breath of The Cold-user, looking that of a Jaguar that successfully got its hunt.

The Breath of The Frost, employs the most offensive swordsmanship in Japanese History, the Jigen-Ryū Kenjutsu, it has a total of 4 Forms.
✧ First-Blood — Wildhunt, Prowler【荒狩、夜の泥棒】(Arakaru, Yoru no Dorobō) is a Jigen-Ryū Kenjutsu form. Apparently inspired by the Japanese Legend of what's the swordplay, the Shinsengumi, feared. From the silence, comes a visceral warcry meant to confuse foes, followed by an assault barrage of erratic sword swings. It is bound by a singular purpose; ending the lives of foes while disregarding your own. The form prior release is assisted by 4 consecutive, enhanced recovery breaths as it acts as a delayed mechanism for the user to endure incoming hits while striking their enemy.

Breathing Styles more or less, are similar to Canon; visual graphics that mimic the elements based on ones swordplay, fueled by Total Concentration Breathing, and in our AU, by the time Demon Slayers reach the Hinoe rank, the elements become real and similarly functions to that of Blood Demon Arts. This is to end the divided Fandom & Player debate regarding preferences of which is preferable and I believe that such exception, justifies the power of the Hashira and those of Hinoe rank and beyond. With proper caution and commonsense, said real elements will have close moderation despite anime physics.

No Player will add new forms to Sun & Moon Breathing, since both canonically got the most numbers, Players are still welcome to add new forms to any pre-existing styles, let alone make an entirely new Breath, minimum 3 to the premade while we will allow 5 forms for an entirely new style. Forms made by the canon like how Giyu and Zenitsu had done so, are available and used for practicality.

No Player is going to have the Demon Slayer Mark from the start & that means null as I will not be accepting even those who are born with it. The Demon Slayer Mark will claim your life at 25^yo and the only exception is; if you're born with it, allowing you to live up to 80^yo or becoming a Demon, which I keep a close watch as I will be the one to choose who gets it first. I have the right to decide on which Players are born with the mark alongside Sun Breathing. Red Nichirin Blades are a no-no from the start.

For one to awaken the mark, Sun & Moon must awaken together, the rest will resonate.

The Demon Slayer Corps has been fighting Demons since the Sengoku Era & had gone many reforms to adapt to their battles. As of the 1980s – the Demon Slayer Corps are still an underground organization, outlawed by Funachi City's Mayor yet discreet enough to operate upon client demand. Demon Scientist, Yushiro, works alongside the Corps and Demons that're created by him.

Factions

Butterfly Mansion - Honoring the Kocho Sisters & Tamayo, the Butterfly Mansion then became under the ownership of Yushiro and all Kakushi works for him.

Medic Unit - This branch of Kakushi are the Canon versions, we all know and love.
Barrier Unit - These are Kakushi who are trained to wield Yushiro's items & their role is to hide the Corps' whereabouts, Fūinjutsu is their specialty.
Ranger Unit - Battle Oriented Kakushi, wielding Yushiro's offensive items & Nichirin Firearms, their specialty is shooting.

Rengoku Clan - One of the pioneers and among the most influential clans in the Corps, known for Flame Breathing, History Archiving and Restaurant Owners.

Kamado Clan - Known to produce users of Sun Breathing, the intellectual successors of Yoriichi, not by bloodline.

Tsugikuni Clan - Known to produce users of Moon Breathing, cuz unlike Canon, Michikatsu in our AU was able to pass his Techniques prior becoming a Demon.

Uzui Yakuza - A yakuza shinobi clan who dominated the underground scene of Funachi earning their money through their generous protection rackets, gambling, prostitution and sale of illegal weaponry. Outside of their city, they are known for their powerful members with distinctive Wisteria style tattoos on their back. Underground they serve as the warriors on the fight against the demons who either live on their own or join smaller criminal groups around the country.

Ubuyashiki Zaibatsu
- A zaibatsu whose origins goes as far as the Heian Era.

They are known for their role in preserving Japanese culture in the face of modernization. Their businesses most prominently include land development, insurance and security firms, medical equipment, bars and the sale of novelty pieces through their craftsmen. Underground they served as the financial backers of the Demon Slayer Corps providing them with tools, weaponry and information for potential demon sightings.

Muzan held consistent stronghold over his Demons, so much so, a simple mention of his name, ends the existence of weaker Demons, to get stronger, they're reliant towards receiving more blood from the Demon King, as we know, the 12 Moons were the peak of his army.

Gen 2

Demons that come from Tamayo and Yushiro, aren't bound by Muzan's jurisdiction and they aren't keen on eating flesh, they drink minimal blood to survive yet is still weak to the Sun, and should Yushiro die, these Demons still live.

'Kokushibō's Demons'
'Michikatsu's Demons'

This third generation of Demons are keenly lethal, devoid of Muzan's curse nor in need of blood sustained upgrades from the current Demon King. Their growth in power is defined as the longer they live, the more they fight and eat, the stronger they become. So lethal, they have freewill, hence unpredictable.

Yatsuchizuki

'八血月'
'八血月'

The Yatsuchizuki aka 8 Blood Moons are the strongest Demons of Michikatsu, and they take after their Master, none of them will die from decapitation & to defeat a Chizuki, it's either a stall until sunrise, Wisteria poisoning or Red Nichirin Blades.

For 60-years, the Yatsuchizuki has minimal changes, there's rarely ever an attrition to the ranks and Michikatsu. The Yatsuchizuki are defined as Yakuza Lords, and are scattered, stationed in each region of Japan. To Humans, they appear to be more than just Humans in disguise but Japan's biggest crime syndicate. Whereas, their King is the Mayor of Funachi City.

The Four Demon Lords
The Four Demon Lords are Michikatsu's immediate successors, they are given the task to control each region of Japan. They're Michikatsu's own Upper Moons, and beyond conquest, their penultimate mission is to kill the Demon King in a Yubikiri, meaning promise renouncal via succession. None of them succeeded in becoming the next Demon King.

The Four Demon Consorts
The Four Demon Consorts are Michikatsu's all girl band & his version of the Lower Moons. Otherwise known as the Rasetsu, these Demons are special since they are capable of producing offspring. Any child borne from their progeny will be fullborn Demons and not hybrids. Unlike the Demon Lords, Michikatsu's designed them as wives for his Demon Lords.

Blood Rite Battles
A Demon Lord cannot be a Consort and neither can a Consort be a Demon Lord, for these are gender confirming roles.

Ranks, however, inside their group, commences the Blood Rite Battle.

Mangetsuki

A Mangetsuki is a High Level Demon, often serving as Regents of each Chizuki & unlike their Demon Lords and Demon Consorts, who wear formal clothing, these are the modern day Yakuza thug that one would imagine, they got the tattoos of human blood, a perfect reference to Yakuza culture, as they're also missing a pinky finger, it's moreo so they can't regenerate it.

Senrantsuki

These are the World War 2 Demons, suffering radioactive mutation, they're beyond reason.

60-years après the defeat of Kibutsuji Muzan, within that timespan, one may think that Demons have been vanquished from that catalystic ordeal.

Apparently not.

Kokushibō ascended the demonic throne and survived the deadlock assault at the Infinity Castle against his foes. Beyond the veils of being business partners with his former master, Kokushibō outgrew said ideals & established his domain at Kyūshū, igniting the Yakuza Revolution. Having set on ruling Japan discreetly, fostering the idea of a powerful nation.

It's now the 1980s in the Shōwa Era, the eternal battle between the rival races, still rages on. Demons through the passage of time, became among the many faces of the Yakuza. In this era of economic bubbly boom in Japan, the Ubuyashiki Family's never waned against their vendetta. Traditions bend and fold as Human & Demon, adapt to manipulate their modern field at the partiful Redlight District's nightlife in this modern day and age.

The battle of sleepless nights, dances upon the twilight, so what are you really...

Tsugikuni-gumi

Gone are the days, Kokushibō is referred by his moonly name from Muzan and the proud return of the obscured name for centuries, Tsugikuni Michikatsu.

Appearing to be human in the public eye of Japan, Michikatsu is the Mayor of the city of Funachi. He, who've tight ropes upon the Japanese Government & outlawed the Demon Slayers in his terrain, by branding them as criminals. The Demon Lord's in control of all organized crime in Japan.

Michikatsu may have let go of his moonly name yet he uses it as mere decoration and open mockery against his Adversaries, the Tsugikuni Family is then tainted in name yet to him, he's revived it.

The Demon Slayer Corps has been in service since the Heian Era, the Shōwa Era of Demon Slayers are said to be the Marked Generation, mirroring the Sengoku Era & are fully aware of the borrowed time they have left.

Amidst the 1960s and prior, the Demon Slayer Corps kept failing to penetrate the city of Funachi. Dubbed as the Infinity City, it dons itself as the most industrious & liveliest city. A place endless dancing and joyous nightlife in the Redlights.

Like Muzan before, they intend to put an end to Michikatsu.
