I'm sorry if I'm being too slow. This month is very hectic for me because of finals on the horizon and work trying to bleed me dry. I'll post up to this Wednesday as long as nothing unexpected happens.
HIGH QUEEN EOS
Hyperion: Bastion's Room

Before Bastion could say anything else, Eos walked to her and pulled the half-dazzled girl into a hug. "You shouldn't have gone there. I don't want anyone else to capture or hurt you again," the android said. "Even if you cannot remember, you are important to me."

"I have a surprise for you. You'll probably remember it if you come with me," Eos said while pointing to the window. Outside of it, Bastion would have a privileged view of the stage where the Queen would hold her concert. "I can't stand to see you like this anymore." The Android let Bastion go before taking a step back, allowing an unsettling silence to fall between as she waited for Bastion's reply.

HYPERION
Karaoke Bar

"Heh, it seems like this place hasn't changed too much through the eons," Hohenheim said as soon as the fight began. "No one knows how to show respect, until..." the Alchemist grabbed the poor sod who used her table as cover, "you turn them into furniture," she said as the less-than-lucky brawler was turned into a new table which Hohenheim promptly rested her booted feet on.

"At least I can't say that this place is dull," Hohenhenheim said, before calling the barkeep to refill her spent snacks. Despite the generalized chaos at the bar, the Alchemist seemed to be rather well-behaved only ever turning the idiot who dared threaten her into random items, from dice to... pleasure toys. Not that it looked like Hohenheim was having any sort of entertainment from this, but at least she wasn't destroying the place as well.

Edited my previous post already. Now it's considerably better to read.
Say it if there's anything wrong on that post. I'll correct it later, if there's any grievous misspelling or anything like that, since I did it from my phone.

ERIS REINHARDT
Murasaki City General Hospital

"You don't need to worry, you aren't intruding. We were just talking about... girl things, should I say?" Eris smiled to Yoshino as she attempted to dispel Aaron's embarrassment and avoid talking about their previous topic. She wasn't going to betray the Black King's secret, at least until Yoshino felt like revealing herself to the world.

In fact, Eris couldn't help but feel a bit of excitement in finally cracking that puzzle, she wasn't going to hand her hard earned reward to anyone else so easily. In the end she could could only hope that Yoshino trusted her on this.

"Our weekend?" The intrigued look on Eris' face was a rare sight for anyone not acquainted to her. It wasn't every day that someone asked that kind of question out of Eris. She felt rather unguarded against it, at first. "I can only hope Yoshino's was good. My own was... hectic, perhaps? Not in a bad way, it's just that... you would understand pretty fast if you had a sister like mine. Eins is super doting but she's also quite a handful—" Eris interrupted herself when she noticed a critical flaw of this conversation.

"I'm sorry. Here I'm, talking about myself, but we haven't even been introduced yet. If I'm not wrong," she said, carefully moving a few hair strands that fell over her face. "I'm Eris," Eris smiled politely as she spoke, "though, I guess anyone on the Academy knows that by now, right?" She tried to do some kind of joke, given the tone of her voice. The question was if the others would get it.

"What about you, Mister?" Eris asked Aaron in a somewhat teasing tone.

"By the way, what you meant when you said that we are all screwed? That's quite a roundabout comment. I'm not really sure how to elaborate on that," she said, resting her hands over her lap as she waited for Aaron's replies.

By the way, I'll be posting here probably tomorrow.
*Yawns as he waits to be able to do things*

*Points to the lots of things that can be done on the IC at the moment, but for some reason aren't being done by anyone*
@KoL
As a 5e player, I still understand. I'm currently doing the Princes of the Apocalypse Campaign with a few friends, and I rolled shittily for stats while our Blackguard got 20 on Dex and 18 on Str.

On the plus side, I figured out I can bypass rolling to hit by grappling and exploiting Barbed Hide. So there's that.

Exploiting, uh? That's the life of a good D&D player, no matter the edition. 5e made D&D great again, after the enforced balance of the 4th edition nearly destroyed the world's 1st and best RPG. At least you began with a good edition.

Oh yeah, that's what I live for. A day isn't the same if I don't see this face.

"I'll leave him in your hands, then," was the Captain's reply to Althea as the combat medic trainee approached the downed Wagnil. Following that she attacked the duo of Shock Troopers left behind when Neno dealt with their Rifleman.

Lunging at them with a precision and resolve sharpened by a life on the battlefield, the Captain trusted her blade at one of the men's neck, twisting it in a gory display as she pulled back to attack the other's shield arm and groin with an upward slash.

The chaotic fight was taxing for one's attention, even so, the Captain turned out to see how the other Cadets were doing. "Don't attack from behind the enemy again, Degraff! You were exposing yourself unnecessarily. You were lucky they didn't—" the seasoned warrior's shout was interrupted by an explosion that hit their camp very close to the group led by Gerhardt. "They brought artillery too? What in the world is happening here?" The Captain gasped in disbelief at the sheer intensity of the enemy's attack as she resumed fending off the target nearest to her.

Meanwhile, Althea would find that Wagnil's state wasn't the best. A quick glance would reveal that he had one of his lungs as well as his lower back (and likely part of his intestine) perforated by the gunshots. The bleeding was intense and the chances of he walking on his own in the near future were inexistent. Chances of survival were below twenty percent, at best.

Even though he was knocking on death's door, Wagnill raised a bloodied hand, thrusting an object at Althea's hands. "Don't let them— take it..." he said with great difficulty as blood welled from his throat. The item, which was covered in Wagnil's blood, turned out to be a bloodied and battered journal.

At the sight of it, the enemy soldiers gestured toward Althea, one of them shouting "We found it, don't let them take that away! Kill everyone if you have to!" Another explosion rang way closer to the medic this time as one of the Riflemen gestured, seemingly relaying information to a Grenadier further back in the woods.

The fire and severe resistance were unexpected factors. "Just our luck to find a bunch of wannabe soldiers right in the middle of nowhere," the Rifleman who seemed to be the commander of the enemy forces complained. "We have no choice, use everything we have against them. If we can't have it, at least we must be sure to burn everything," he said before ordering a tactical regroup.

At such a command, the remaining Shocktroopers who could disengage from their fighting did so. Five of them formed a line between the group of gathered cadets and Althea, while two more went after the masked girl. The single surviving Rifleman aside from their leader focused on keeping the Captain at bay while the Grenadier lined a shot the grouped students. "Like fish in a barrel," he said as he was about to pull the trigger.

No matter what happened, it seemed like this mostly unwanted skirmish was going to end pretty soon.
