Would storms count as a natural element? Or should I focus on them separately so more like wind, rain or lightning?

I think storm might be better broken into specific elements. It would feel like having 3+ elements in one, IMO. Not to say that you can't have a storm-themed character; just that it might feel like too much. Wind for the wind, water for rain, etc.

Question! Are you including the Eastern elements of Wood and Metal along with Fire, Earth, Air and Water?

Yes; I mentioned in the interest check that I'm not limiting it to the big four. Just as long as it is something "natural" related since in some magic systems they start to include things like "light and darkness" as elements, and that's not something I'd consider an element in this setting.

what age ranges are you properly looking for, like freshmen-age (15-16)?

and when you say modern day, you mean in our current state of world right now? just to be sure!

and is the school that our PC's are attend the only one of its kind or are there more internationally?

1 - more closer to adulthood, say 16-18.
2 - yes, when I say modern day, that means our current timeframe.
3 - there are more schools throughout the us and the world.
