@Dragoknighte Hamster habitat: please note that yes, I am insane when it comes to pet habitats, lol. Was cutting plexiglass two days ago, didn't score one piece well enough, it snapped jagged and boom - gash right down the inside of my forearm, with a beautiful complementary bruise where I ended up hitting the edge of the habitat that's the size of a golf ball. Oh well, back to work. Where's my drill.

That sucks but can't be helped. It's one of the most versatile out there and easiest to access to most. On an upside though, I use it on my 3 year old phone with no issues, so there is always that.

History

Your First Walker Encounter: When the outbreak occurred Alicia was on a temp assignment in Jacksonville Fla for her dad's company; working with the DEA and Coast Guard to upgrade their systems procedures. It wasn't exactly the type of job she was excited about but it was a job that needed to be done. Papi gave the order; she bitched about it but did it anyway. The job ended up being a bit more exciting than she had thought it would be.

Chaos had broken out in the city with people getting sick; rumors of fevers spreading and people turning into cannibals. "Fucking idiots..." Alicia thought. "You'd think you all had seen a chupacabra, ain't no goat eater, ain't no walking dead." Man, had she been wrong. Captain Martin had been walking around with the flu for the last two days and went to lay down while Alicia finished up her work. Once she was finished she went to wake his ass up and get on her way; only to be greeted by the Walker version of Captain Martin.

She had been stripped of her weapons before entering the building that morning and was "defenseless" as this "thing" was trying to eat her. "Typical... men only want one thing; Mi Taco," she said in a gruff voice as she kicked the Walker off of her. Improvisation was something her father had taught her growing up and a chair leg through the skull later Alicia had killed her first walker.

History Before Outbreak: Life for Alicia was anything but typical growing up. While most little girls were given Barbie Dolls, Rainbow Brite Figures and Strawberry Shortcake Bed Sheets; Alicia was given knives, cherry bombs and combat boots. Granted her mother did try to girl things up with a lot of pink; it didn't do much good. Alicia was the daughter and only child of a man who was a walking legend in the security field and as far as she was concerned the real man was much more interesting and deadly than the myth.

Despite protests from Mama, Alicia was tagging along with her father during breaks from school all over the world from the time she could walk and learning the security profession. She recalls hearing her parents bickering one night about how it was too dangerous for her to be go with him; to which her papa replied - "Death is too afraid to fuck with my Mija." That was the end of that, Alicia figuring it was true - everyone seemed afraid of her father but her and her mother. To Alicia, he was just a big teddy bear - sure he could rip someone's throat out with his bear hands but towards her he was all fluff and cuddles.

Even with all the traveling, Alicia did well in school and had a close group of friends. They were basically an anti-gang and apparently Alicia inherited her fathers ways of just wanting to stop bad things from happening in a very bloody manner. Even though she was doing good work, she did end up spending some time in Juvi for bashing a guys skull in with a lead pipe; he refused to stop selling drugs at her High School. Manslaughter charges were eventually dropped and her record stripped clean - Thanks Papi!

Once she graduated high school she was ready to join her father full time but dad would have none of that, wanting better for his daughter than he had had, and she ended up at the University of Maryland. Four years of high born east coast education later she graduated with honors; the first in her family to attend college; her family was proud but even with all that education she still ended up with her dad working as his right hand. Education be damned, she wasn't about to sit behind a desk the rest of her life.

Things went great and she became a badass in her own right but nothing compared to the legend of her dear ol' dad. That was fine with her, as long as papi was proud she could care less what the rest of the world thought.

History Since Outbreak: Getting out of Jacksonville was anything but easy; the place was a mad house but a little luck, a lot of hard work and the use of satellite phone to contact Papi for advice she managed to get the fuck out of dodge. It took a good month through backroads to get back to Tennessee but she eventually made it. "Told you me going to Jacksonville was a bad idea pop," she said to Caesar when she met back up with him at the companies main stronghold.

Many had decided to use the place as a hold for the time being but it could only last so long. Eventually the pair decided to say fuck it and head out for Texas to try to find Alicia's mother; she had been visiting family in San Antonio when the shit hit the fan and they had lost contact months before. What else did they have to do? There were no more boarders, no more laws, no more bills. It was either sit on your ass and try to survive or head out and try to survive. Neither of the pair were ones for sitting on their asses.

It wasn't long before the two met up with Leann, Ash and the rest of the folk and they decided to hang with the group until they reached Atlanta. South then west was the route they needed to take and there was safety in numbers; even if they were only a meat shield for the pair as far as they were concerned. Mi Familia came first.

People die, people grow close, people become family - things change. Since arriving in Atlanta, the pair have stuck with Leann's group and become a vital part of their survival. There are plans for the two to eventually make their way to San Antonio but in the back of their mind, they both know Alicia's mother is long gone. Perhaps it is better if she is. Alicia's mother wasn't made for this new world - Alicia and Papi were.

Tense might be an understatement when it comes to how Alicia views her relationship with Leann. Leann seems to be the undisputed leader of the group and while the woman does keep everyone together and gets the job done Alicia doesn't answer readily to her. As far as she is concerned there is only one person she has to answer to in this world - that person isn't god and it isn't Leann - It's Caesar - end of story.

⚤ Ashton Holloway ⚤

"It ain't love, but it ain't lust either."
The two have been an item for a while now, no secret there but when outside the bedroom they are anything but "crushing on" each other. They tend not to wok together; it's easier that way. Off shifts though, they can usually be found together. Papi doesn't seem to approve but he hasn't killed the man yet, so that's a win in her book.

"If it weren't for Papi, I'd have slit that bitches throat months ago."
Hate? Is that the right word? Probably not, it doesn't go deep enough but for now that is the best word to describe how Alicia feels about Vivian. Doc or not, she doesn't like the woman and doesn't care if she is "needed" by the group. The fact that woman gets anywhere near Caesar gives Alicia a rage that runs deep. Her vindictive ways don't bother her that much but there is just something about her that makes her skin crawl and she doesn't keep quiet about it. Perhaps it is the fact that her mother could still be alive or perhaps it is just the fact the woman isn't upfront about how is next on her list to kill. Either way, the sooner the Doc bites the big one, the better in her eyes.

Alicia doesn't really know anything much about Sid, other than he tends to the medical garden for Vivian. Well, at least if Viv disappears he'll know what plants do what. So he's at least useful.

Alicia hangs out with Meg from time to time when things are calm. They laugh and have fun; a such as one can these days. She is trying to toughen Meg up though. Meg wasn't made for this world but she could be in time.

Want to see the party side of a Gonzalez? Watch Alicia when hanging out with James. He knows how to take her brash comments and doesn't take it to heart, he just retorts. Right now, he's the only one that will willingly deal with her outside the walls.

Alicia pretty much doesn't talk to Maria. She respects what she brings to the group but it is no secret that Alicia will throw anyone under the bus to save Caesar. This makes things tense, but hey, life is stress these days. Deal with it.

It is no secret that Alicia looks up to her father; idolizes him even. She knows his flaws are many and run deep but she could really give a shit less. He has never wronged her, has stood by her through everything in life, taught her nearly everything she knows and is the only thing left from the world before it went to shit to survive in her eyes. She'll tell him exactly what she thinks when she thinks it but in the end, if Papi gives an order, she will follow it. He is her best friend, her blood and her only trusted ally.

Okay, I need word from everyone that is still active in this Rp - this means IC. Most everyone is well passed the week mark since their last post, which is understandable since you were on hold, some of you. But time has moved forward and posts are needed now from all that have not posted since the Nat/Eddie/Hospital update. I know some are waiting to do colabs but that does mean you cannot post now. In fact is it pretty needed to be able to set up scenes for the colabs. So please, sound off if you are still going to be posting IC and get posts in post haste.
