"My name is Rufus, and judging by the name stiched into the tags of your underwear, yours is Jiro."

He had been considering nicking a few fresh pairs for himself but size differences made that a bit of an issue he wasn't inclined to deal with, so he left them in their drawer. The offered drink was accepted with a nod before he returned to nibbling the fish. "So Jiro, what are you even doing home? I'd always thought rainy days were a good time to go to the movies or get stuck indoors with friends. Kind of sad when its just a bloke in their own apartment, dont'cha know?"

Kanbaru Otoko

So the illusion was something Kanbaru was projecting. Interesting to know, and she'd certainly see about learning that trick for future reference. It would certainly be easier to have clandestine meetings of the dubious sort if people perceived her as a random stranger rather then the buxom bluenette she was.

"I'm liking everything I'm hearing so far. The simple pleasure of recycling old tech for new gains, an economical and rewarding venture if there ever was one. So many uses without even needing to pull out my wallet and throw wads of cash to start it up." Kanbaru purred, leaning back to stretch her arms overhead with a luxurious sigh of contentment, her mind firmly set on joining this club properly after the latest excursion into Deep ground. She was rather glad Kanna asked to tag along as her support skills were rather extraordinary and Kanbaru had a feeling she'd be needing them after the last update to the game made her style of vehicular warfare a thing of the past.

A shame really, but it wasn't like they could just drop the game for changing its meta on them.

"As much as I'd love to be on the front line and snatch up the EXP, we can't afford to make the same mistakes as the Bruisers and leave our conquest unprotected. We can fail in attacking the Harley with little cost to us, but having them retake the Blue City would only give our enemies momentum we should hoard for ourselves. And I'm going to take a wild guess and say the Strykers and their Bruiser allies wouldn't be keen on leaving our defenses untested even if it left the Harley's threadbare in their own retaliation. Not like they didn't rebuke the Masks once already."

I'll meet you at the front gates to the city, Mint.

Fitting herself comfortably with the duvet and pillow, the bluenette leaned back into her chair and slipped into the familiar boots of,

Broker Of Fortune

Once again she was amidst the Blue City, bustling with activity, yet lacking in its former industrial splendor. Looting was only to expected and artillery bombardment did a number on the infrastructure, but really it was the presence of Masks as opposed to Bruisers bustling about that clinched it. The war time attitude was likely not what they carried in usual affairs, but Broker had gotten rather endeared to being surrounded by craftsmen whenever she returned the Bruiser's former capital.

"Eh, oh well. The Masks will get industrious once they've conquered to their heart's content. Then I'll have a leg up on being at the Blue Cities ground floor when its time to rebuild." A grin settled on her countenance as Broker emerged from the smashed bank vaults she'd logged out within, her inventory metaphorically heavy with all the loot she could snatch. It was sad to say she couldn't use most of it at the moment, and frankly she'd broke down a lot of what she found for EXP just so could make that leap from level 5 to 7.

Checking the pouch fastened to her outer thigh her fingers brushed against the bronze coin which manifested as her new ability, a welcome addition she'd need to cover up for the deficit of fire power she was left with at the loss of her King Tiger. "Oh yeah, this will do me nicely."

Broker was practically skipping down the street as she headed through the city towards the meeting point she'd chosen, hoping the Masks had at least made some partial repairs to the walls since they'd logged in ahead of her.

Ananta

"Yes, you could say I am a baby sitter, though I do still work for people with arms and legs. After all, don't you and your mother have limbs right now~?" The serpent said in the kind manner one does when informing a youth, Ananta's arms crossed before her as she settled comfortably atop her coiled tail. "I'm certain you already know how people like the Lady Juno can be busy, regardless of the form they take, so I can be called in to ensure their children are not left to fend for themselves."

Luci

"Wow, Momma, you've got A LOT of farm hands now. Papa's never going to have to work another day with these- Eww!"

The slime was ecstatic just to be in such an exciting place, even if it was making her think of daycare and that always made her hungry if the growling of her stomach was anything to go by. Her hands were clutching the puppet as her bouncing knees rocked the felt creature like a bucking bronco, and her delight only grew when the Puppy Lady returned and sniffed her all over. Wild giggles erupted from the way it seemingly tickled her exterior and she was all too happy to lean back into Artoria and nestle herself against the furry's chest.

It was everything she could have hoped for, until the succubus appeared before her.

"You smell like Pappa when she wrestles Momma. You aren't Pappa, or an auntie!" Luci thrust an accusatory finger at the creature of carnal desire while the other hand deposited Frog atop comfy furry's head. "My Momma's the queen and she's on the throne, but I'm not letting you wrestle her. You just stabbed our new ceiling!"

The child failed to see the hypocrisy in criticizing Fran while giving no shits in regards to Artoria barreling through the wall, but children were seldom prone to rationale when their protective instincts took over. A slattern reeking of arousal just tried to proposition what she thought was the Queen, and Luci did not approve of this auntie!

Demonstrating a degree of her mother's capacity for unprovoked violence, Luci morphed from the seated princess to a angry weapons platform, proving she really didn't need to take Henry up on his offer by producing her own armaments.

What ensued was an inaccurate maelstrom of ballistic slime unleashed upon the Whore Queen of the Uterine Sea and anyone unfortunate enough to be standing behind her. Each blob an irate micro Luci eager to dissolve everything but the chastity belt over Fran's loins.

Rufus was somewhat disappointed his ruse had been seen through, not that Jiro could tell his expression through the fogged glance. He'd have to make sure to cross his legs if he wanted to try that gambit again. Making matters worse was the complete lack of paralysis or explosive anger he could have delighted in reversing upon the law abiding student, robbing the transient of any joy in absconding with that nifty looking frying pan.

"You've made this really awkward, oh ho!" Rufus grumbled as he turned off the water and stepped out to dry himself off. Coarse beige towel were what he'd swiped from Jiro's linens, and it was these he wrapped around his waist and swaddled his hair with when he emerged bare chested into the apartment proper.

If Jiro expected Rufus to hurl himself upon the presented food like a starved dog eager to be saved from the streets, he'd be disappointed with the lackadaisical manner his uninvited guest sat before the table and took a non-plussed bite of the fish.

"By the way, your out of shampoo."

Kanbaru Otoko

"I can't say I'd ever had the luxury of considering its construction, so no." The bluenette responded honestly, seeing no reason to feign eagerness when she'd already been up front with the icy gambler across from her. There came a twinge in her brow as vision grew briefly bizarre from Kanna's demonstration, and were there not notifacations then she'd certainly have been alarmed to witness a bunny suited Eins across from her.

"Wow, she really does cut a nice figure in that." She blurted out the first thing that came to mind, clearly pleased that reality had lived up to what her imagination had concocted. "Is this augmented reality something you are projecting upon yourself or did you do something that's making me project it upon you?"

Kanna's 'come-hither' look was an invitation Kanbaru wouldn't be passing up, though when her hands passed through the facade she didn't bother to halt her advance and made certain her palms got a feel for the firm chest Kanna supported.

She was asking for it, after all.

"Alright, you have me interested. I haven't the foggiest clue how you pitched this club to the school but I'll jump aboard all the same." Kanbaru said, retracting her hands to down the rest of the tea Kanna had offered her. "Though perhaps we should save the formal activities for later? Servers are up and I get the feeling people are getting a little froggy on DGO. Sooner or later someone's going to jump."

You all need to take a moment and acknowledge who the real gods you should worship are. Such as the god of lewdness.

Leblanc Farris

[[ Location : Imperial Camp ]]

In the space of sixty seconds, anything can happen. In that minute span of time a sea weed haired young woman could fill her bowl and empty it with only a streak of spilled stew trailing from the corner of her lip to prove it existed at all. A laudable habbit for men-of-arms, but she'd fostered this habit in her early days among the cities bowels and it had served her well to this day. It was all just energy to burn, fuel for the night, and in her haste a sense of taste never entered the equation. Warmth and thickness of broth were all that mattered, and even the gamey lumps of meat were swallowed without any concern for choking.

It needed more vegetables. She thought with an idle gaze settling upon the wilderness beyond the fire's obscuring light, more a general remark on the food she was growing accustomed to then the meal in particular.

Blase ruminations were not to be the order of the night as the twin cracks of the rifleman's' salvo sent the night into a frenzy of motion. Her nameless Vassel unfurled and grew taught around her neck in response to the threat, causing her pupils to expand not from alarm but a conscious desire to see clearly in the nights gloom.

"Hmm..." A step to the side into the protection of a leeward tree of particularly dry wood averted the gruesome union of Leblance's pelvis and a stray shot, earning the trio of assailants where it originated from a glower in response and little else. It did not take a genius to know they were surrounded from the moment the first shots rang out, and were she to try and break the encirclement she'd have needed either favorable terrain or the full support of her comrades to avoid having to deal with being shot from either side.

Rallying calls from those unwilling to succumb to scattered gunfire drew her from her impromptu cover and sent Leblanc dashing through the center of camp to reach the gathering of warriors and maidens alike with a snap of torn wood preceding the acquisition of a branch now clutched in her off hand. Even in the midst of blistering steps she made hardly a sound in her passing, a habit of balancing the pressure along her feet leaving little in the way of disturbance for all the good it did in that raucous firefight. The seaweed haired girl dove forward as the night was parted with a crack and the air where she once was now trailed a streak of white smoke from a bullets lethal trajectory.

Her body curled and rolled forward, propelling itself momentum till she got her feet back under her and resumed her sprint without pause. More importantly, in her travel she came to cross paths with the pot they had procured their stew and now clutched in her hands was a blazing torch ignited from the smoldering embers beneath the stew. While her flight had been graceful she had no compunction with flailing the torch against every bush or tree she came across before tossing it aside and joining Gradon and company at the forefront of the breach.

"I've altered the terrain." Leblanc said flatly and drew large knife from its thigh holster, all the while flickering flames danced along branches and brambles, a growing light and bloom of smoke to obscure the attackers behind it. "Let's move before they circle around."

I was waiting on KoL but I'll see about posting for Rufus.
@Er0r

Turns out all the cadets are actually sleeper agents at Cadenza and we are working for the attackers. What a twist!
