@Crimson Raven
Well my whole idea was an assassin who used wire's to lay traps and fling weapons dangerously around. You know the whole put two wires between a tree and the person who rides into it gets wrecked XD
@hatakekuro
I would prefer if he didn't XD
The more people who come in, the more likely Manami might just think it's too much of a hassle and leave. She might want to eradicate slayers, however she isn't stupid enough to try and fight against multiple wizards and slayers unless she knows she can win.
However I also wouldn't mind if he came in because I think him fighting Manami would be amusing.
What would win? Holy Water? Or God Slaying Ash?
Cause if memory serves water beats ash (or at least makes it heavier), however is her magic weak to god slayer magic?
Then again Nidhogg and Shiro should be able to take the four gathered (maybe....good thing they're not the only Shadow Heart mages XD)
@Crimson Raven@GamerXZ
I was thinking of some sort of 'wire' magic character. In fact it's been driving me nuts for no reason lately. XD
Except more like Akame Ga Kill's Lubbock but.
@Expolar
Cody can't make his own weapons with his magic no. In fact it only just occurred to me he could use it offensively XD His Absolute Shield spell could be used to slap people in the face XD (...That's about it)
His magic is used by scattering his magic power into the air which he can then use to make barriers or negate magic/momentum. That's about the limit, armor was an advanced spell he wouldn't be capable of casting any time soon. Not really due to the magic power required (he's naturally high in that regard), however the mental strain on him would be enormous.
Or he can make barriers for people to run into. The Shield Spell is the only one which moves but (since he just condenses a chunk of his magic into one spot to move around).

Anyway it doesn't bother me if someone uses barrier magic at all.

My question is why did you think he was capable of making his own weapons? I never considered it once. Armor was a fair enough thing to question, was thinking of bringing that in much later however.
Shiro Hime and
Cody Bloodstein

@Raijinslayer@Zarkun@Joshua Tamashii@Roseletta
Shiro simply nodded her head at Nidhogg's scolding and looked away with a slightly guilty look on her face. It was true, she had blown their cover. Although she hadn't meant to, she was just trying to avoid a certain someone who could get in their way.
However she watched through narrowed eye now as Nidhogg began his 'negotiations' with the group. This wasn't in the plan at all.
"Manami-sama won't like this Nidhogg-sama, she wants to avoid civilian causalities if possible." Shiro's tone was an uncaring one as she reached behind of her and pulled out a strange looking cylinder.
"She won't like this one bit..." She repeated as she stared down the Phoenix Wing mages with her uncovered eye. She wasn't going to stop him if he tried, however she did feel like warning him for when Manami found out. If he did such a thing of course.
She gave Amaya a blank look as he talked however...what was the slayer going on about?
"It doesn't matter. Slayers are a threat which must be eliminated. History must not be allowed to repeat itself." Shiro's tone was venomous as her scythe began to extend itself to it's full size. Appealing to Shiro would seem to gain them about the same as appealing to Nidhogg, however it wasn't for the same reasons.

Cody felt relief wash over him as James' aura took effect. It certainly made him feel a little more at ease to know that he was here, from what he had seen so far of James (which was very little) he was fairly stronger....but did he really stand a chance against this Nidhogg guy?
Cody immediately remembered the sheer size of the dome he had made yesterday and the scale of his attacks. It was something completely foreign to Cody. Cody's own hand now went to the hilt of the sword at his hip before gulping nervously.
"I-if you want Amaya, then you're going to have to get through us." Cody stuttered slightly at the start but stood his ground now. He had only known Amaya for a short time, but he knew already that she was nothing like what these scumbags thought she was. He enjoyed her company, and he had resolved not to lose anymore people precious to him.

Sora Kaze

@Infichi
"Oh really? I've been doing this job for two years now, I doubt you have what it takes." Sora said smugly as he simply ignored the chair trailing him. He had seen some strange magic since coming to Fiore, so this was nothing new.
But he was interested in it regardless. Some form of creation magic?
"Young and fresh? Full of energy? You certainly crack me up kid. You're older than the client." Sora chuckled deeply at Verrick's comments. The kid was annoying and arrogant, however he was a rather amusing fellow.
"The name is Sora Kaze. Greatest wind mage in existence. Well on the way to be the greatest mage full stop." Sora boasted as he gave Verrick another smug look "The mission isn't mine to just tell anyone about. It's a rather sensitive topic for the client. I'll take you to where she should be right now if those idiots are following the schedule." Sora sighed as he looked at his wrist. According to the time, they should've checked into the hotel by now.
Assuming Mai was keeping the other two in check that is.
Eh everyone sort of comes and goes at various stages anyway
@Joshua Tamashii
That makes two of us mate
@Leslie Hall@Expolar@hatakekuro
Wait we're all twenty here? XD
(Well I turn twenty in september)
Sora Kaze

@Infichi
Sora's look of disdain turned into one of annoyance quite quickly. Just who the heck did this kid think he was? Did he have any idea who he was talking to?
"Look kid I ain't got time for your stupidity. I finally got a lead so need to go find my fri-disciples." Sora quickly corrected himself. This kid was a bother and he had his own job to finish, he hadn't the time to help some hotshot find a job....Wait. That could work.
"Unless you want in on my job. It's a hassle even for me, so I doubt you can handle it." Sora smirked at Verrick before turning his back on the younger mage "So just forget I said anything. I'm sure you can find a mission more about your level at a nearby tavern or community board. Like finding a lost kitten or something." He added over his shoulder before walking off slowly. The pace at which he walked was rather deliberate, almost mockingly.
Well Sora was kinda mocking Verrick anyway. There was no 'almost' about it.

Jasmine Lockwood

@Caits
Jasmine didn't quite understand at first what Penny meant. However it didn't take her long to realise what she had meant. She wanted her to review her memories and try to piece together what was missing? Or by running through them it might jog something new?
Or maybe her memories were simply fragmented, and thus by thinking about them she could put them in the right order? She had to admit there were a few memory sequences which didn't make much sense.
Wait. Now that she thought about it...
"...The arguing wasn't near Crocus. It had happened in a smaller town on the way here, to the west. I don't remember it's name, nor do I think I learnt it anyway. My parents were haggling with someone over a purchase I believe. But my encounter with the Moth and Butterfly was just outside the city. At least a day had passed between those events." Jasmine mumbled thoughtfully as the details seem to be just popping into her head the more she thought about it.
"I remember being hungry when I met them, and afraid. Of what I'm not sure. I mean they were pretty terrifying to look at." Jasmine rubbed her temples as she tried to think about it....forcing memories to the surface was a cause for headaches it would seem.
"Argh...it hurts my head thinking about it."

Ashlyn Johnson

@Zarkun@hatakekuro@oblivion666@liferusher@Caits@Raijinslayer@Lugubrious
Ash didn't need to be told twice. Nodding her head in agreement at Harper's request, Ashlyn pointed her free hand towards the corpse but not before making a quick cross gesture and mumbling rest in peace softly under her breath.
"Flames of hell I call thee to burn my enemies. Flames of the lord I call thee to punish these sinners." As Ash mumbled her spell a blue flame ran up her arm and her fist burst into a large white flame. The two now connected before being forming a ball of bluey-white flames. Once it reached the size of her fist she launched it at the corpse and watched as it quickly caught fire upon contact.
The fire didn't spread much from there however as Ash simply manipulated any loose flames back onto the corpse. It didn't take long for it burn away and leave a pile of ashes and bones.
The fire had however lit the place up a little more as a look of disgust crossed her face....she was done with this place already. Her worst fears had been confirmed, these people were surely beyond saving. She hadn't the heart to tell that to Harper however as she nodded in agreement at what the ninja had to say.
"The sooner we get back the better....I have a bad feeling about this place." Ash commented as she frowned heavily. She had always trusted her gut, and now was no different.
This place was just setting off alarm bells left, right and center.
@Leslie Hall
Yeah over echii'ing things annoys me so I tend to stay away from those. DaL has those moments, which is why it won't make my top ten favorite anime EVER especially now that I've read the LN's XD, but the over-all plot still has everyone guessing (well the LN's anyway). The anime just needed to...well explain more things.
Like how the 'wizards' worked -_-' Kinda an important plot element. But some of my favorite anime characters are in that anime so..eh.
Oh and to stop skipping over important parts of the books which had subtle story elements to them, like the naming of some later characters.
Fanservice has it's place, but too much is...well too much.

Oh and me and my best friend went into OPM with no expectations whatsoever and to enjoy the comedy. And guess what? We blood fricken loved it. Although he has began to find some newer anime he enjoys, but main beef between us in anime is that he LOVES slice of life and I kinda hate it XD
It's just. So. Damn. Boring. (Unless it's a good romance slice of life.)

EDIT: So yeah basically the whole not explaining enough because of budget pisses me off as well XD
From what I've heard ten percent of the budget (on average) goes into the eyes or something. Might be wrong, but it's what I've heard. So perhaps instead of spending on much on their damn eyes they should focus a bit on the plot XD
