I understand that in the discussion of Saber colours/parts, Force Abilities, Lightsaber techniques there are not a lot of canon sources on Wookieepedia. In these instances feel safe and comfortable to use the legends descriptions and names of abilities. This includes the classifications of Jedi, such as Jedi Sentinel/Consular/Guardian. I hope this clears up your questions.

As for the second one, yeah, that's kind of just a primer for the situation, so it's not necessarily strictly linear if that makes sense. I think at least in the movie Palpatine did his thing within a few hours or whatever, right? Same night or so.

Would it be alright if I made my character a trainee of the Jedi Temple Guard?

Sure, if its the Coruscant temple there was someone else here who indicated they may start there. Just know if you're starting as a survivor from Operation zknightfall you'll be under heavier scrutiny. Surviving that was no small feat.

@Sep Thank you and I was wondering about the techniques I put down. Jung, Shun and Sai are from Legends yet they are such simple lightsaber techniques I thought I should ask you if that is alright. Its not like I'm saying Koshar can duplicate Falling Lotus.

Oh and do racial abilities (because some do) does that apply as a skill?

Answered the first via pm. The second is if you want to put them in you can put them under skills, create a new tab or put it under the species tab.

@TheEvanCat two minor issues with your sheet.

The first is the Techno Union "remained neutral" or atleast publicly retained their neutrality and denounced Wat Tambor as a traitor, much like how the Trade Federation treated Nute Gunray. Why? The simple answer is money. They continued to produce goods for both sides.

The second is we're just after Order 66, so Palpatine hasn't quite declared his new order yet.

It varies really. In canon its all down to the connection between a person and the crystal and that persons personalty.

So this one's gonna be a half-request, half-question, and it's about whether or not there's gonna be a Discord server.

On one hand, they're very handy for hashing out ideas and answering questions pretty quickly, and hey it's 2020 and everybody and their mom and their 12 kids and cousins has one and they're cool.

On the other hand, it's easy to get stuck in preplanning to the point where the thread bogs down in OOC in Discord, until the actual RPG thread is basically Dead on Arrival.

With that in mind, I guess all of this rambling is like, me asking if there's gonna be one, but also a request that we should like, make characters and at least post CS WIPs before really setting out on one.

I'm not going to be going with a Discord on one. Honestly I've seen them kill more RP's than they've helped. I'll publically backup the RP on a Google Doc everyone here has access too so in the unlikely event that the Guild does go down, we can all contact one another and plan our next move (Which is the main reason Discord became so popular).

From my experience Discord Chats just end up with incredibly off-topic conversation rather than useful stuff, not too mention those that don't want too/can't use it just get left behind.
