“I'm sure it's gotta do with inner strength. Living, feeling, experiencing, forming bonds..all of these build up the heart, and if yours is big enough, it'll shine on those around you ...like a warm fireplace.”

Din listened to the Master of Master's explanation with befuddlement, but she didn't judge the incomprehensibility of it; besides, as a fellow magic user, she knew that magic was just like that sometimes, difficult to explain. The gist that she got was she needed to be a bit stronger before she could do what she saw Kirby do.

“NO WAY I’M DOING SOMETHING THAT SILLY LOOKING”

Din gave Bowser a coquettish wink to let him know she was just teasing. Still, she would have liked to see Bowser attempt summoning the Friendship Heart, if only for the spectacle. However, their little exchange was interrupted when Courier 6 arrived and began berating Geno for leaving them all behind. On the one hand, she agreed with the desert man, since Geno's absence had made her worry quite a bit as well, on the other hand, anger was not a good way to express that worry. But Din had to draw the line when 6 insulted Geno's downed friend. After all, they were all displaced individuals from their various worlds, with no friends in sight, so finally being able to see a friend must have meant a lot to Geno (even though Geno and Bowser already knew each other, it didn't seem as if they were on the best terms). But before Din could say anything, a massive house crashed into the moat, followed by a giant, winged incarnation of...Bowser? Like the others, Din gaped in awe at the terrible beast that hovered over them, but the silence was broken by 6:

”OH MIGHTY KING!” he called out, clearly high and drunk as balls, yet his coordination didn’t suffer a bit. ”FOR TRIBUTE I HAVE BROUGHT YOU AN ARMY!” He swept his arms around, gesturing to all of their allies. ”I HAVE BROUGHT YOU WEAPONS!” He pulled out his .44 magnum, presenting it high for all to see. ”AND I HAVE BROUGHT YOU A DEMONSTRATION!”

The Courier turned to the nearby unconscious Mario, then snapped his fingers together to create a friendship heart. The heart slowly drifted down until it latched onto the portly plumber, then seeped into his body.

Din's previous anger at Courier 6 subsided as she saw him manifest a Friendship Heart to revive Geno's friend, proving that he really did care, and his earlier chiding was just part of his tough-guy approach. She also admired the ruse he was attempting to set up, and decided to help him. "Oh great and terrible awfulness!" Din addressed Megadragonbowser using terms she had heard the real Bowser refer to himself as, assuming they had the same campy tastes, "We are here but as your humble servants. Please allow me to entertain you with a dance." Din began performing an exotic Gerudo dance, flitting from one end of the party to the other, strengthening and invigorating her allies for the eventual surprise attack, and healing whatever Blazermate and Bowser's Rabbid failed to address. She continued to dance, weaving among her allies, making sure everyone had received her magical aura.
Gonna try to get a post up
@Circ

Thank you for your interest, but this is an experimental RP to let some close friends of mine 'get their feet' wet, as it were, with RPing, so I am trying to maintain as sterile an environment as possible without the inclusion of outside factors. I will consider allowing others to join when they have become more comfortable with RPing.

New Canon, I believe, is that the koopalings are adopted, with Jr. being Bowser's only 'blood' offspring.
Haruishi Mari

Quirk: Born to Run (Thunder Road)

@ShwiggityShwah @Scribe of Thoth @AdmrlStalfos19 @Delta44

Mari looked up in relief and straightened herself up at having her apology be accepted. "Haruishi Mari!" she introduced herself, but before the smile from having made a comrade fully forms on her face, she saw Hiroki's eyes and the condescension in them. He was looking down on her. This was the smug, confident face of privilege. The realization stung, but maybe this is what Mari deserved for having picked a fight with someone with advantages built into their upbringing. "What is someone like you even doing at Jigokuraku? Shouldn't someone like you be at UA or Shikoku? Leave some space at the bottom of the barrel for the rest of us!" Mari thought to herself, not believing for a second that such prominent schools would reject an applicant based on bad attitude alone, since she regarded hero society in-general quite poorly. Hiding her rage, Mari instead offered a weak smile and stuttered, "Yeah, w-we could have taken him down. And then you'd have, what? Two villains under your belt for the entrance exam? A-amazing!" Mari didn't expect to have to reign it in in hero school as well, so she was out of practice. With the homeless, you were allowed to be yourself. At school, her good grades and the fact that her fellow students could tell she was being abused at home made her a target of bullying, and she had learned to grin and bear it. At home... Mari closed her eyes slowly as the feeling of being submerged slowly receded from her face. She let Hiroki turn his attention to other things though she glared daggers at the back of his head as he left.

Her fake smile turned into a sincere one when she noticed Shun waving at her. She remembered him as the most amicable and cooperative during the entrance exam, and noted how Hiroki failed to mention Shun in the effort to take down the bus-hijacking villain. After all, it was Shun's act of skill and daring that had disarmed the gun-wielding villain. But before Mari could interact with Shun, she felt a tap and a shock on her shoulder. Looking over, Mari saw Umi, though didn't remember her name. A passing offensive remark from Hiroki directed at Umi made Mari glare at Hiroki some more, and feel protective of Umi. But the electric shock from their contact worried Mari. Was her trek up the mountain to the school enough to elicit her lightning generation? Mari decided to shelve that thought and reply to Umi's question. "Thank you for your concern. My foot is fine, just cuts, nothing too deep. The school patched me up after the exam." She decided not to mention that it was still bothering her slightly, as one does not generally get to engage in much bed-rest when one was homeless. "My name is Haruishi Mari, what's yours?"

As Hiroki began to yell, Mari's negative opinion of him began to solidify, though there was some relief in knowing openly the kind of person someone was instead of having to guess. This honestly made him fairly easy for Mari to deal with in the future, since she was accustomed to cocky, self-important men throwing their weight around. Soon, Azukina would approach, surprising Mari with the fact that she was already wearing what might be the school's uniform, that she already knew some of the teachers' names, and that she was even given the keys with which to open the building. "Was this special treatment? Had they already picked Azukina as class representative?" Mari thought to herself, thinking again with some spite of the privileged upbringing that she suspected Hiroki and Azukina of having. Still, while Hiroki had been belligerent and antagonistic, Azukina had maintained rationality and had disagreed with Mari on pragmatic grounds, so when Azukina smiled at Mari, Mari smiled back with no hidden thoughts, shouldering her duffel bag, and following the tall teacher into the building.

@Star Lord @Lmpkio @DracoLunaris

Din leaves Geno to discuss with Bowser and locate Kirby to save his friend Mario, while turning her attention to the increasingly unstable Roadhog. Putting her Rod and keyblade in the ground in a show of peace, and upon rising, placed her hands forward in a calming gesture Din says slowly, "Look, I know you're confused, but we're all grateful you helped us in the previous battle. Most of us are confused. Only a few of us have any idea what's going on, Kirby, who Geno is looking for, and the Master of Masters, the man in the hood. Oh, but Kirby doesn't speak. I woke up here, with no memory of recent events, remembering only a powerful light back in my own world. That thing in the sky," Din points at the winged ball of light hovering over the landscape, "That's Galeem, according to the Master. It's supposedly taking different worlds and mixing them up as it pleases, and we're all victims. Not only that, it mind controls us, and makes us fight. Everything we've fought so far has this smokey complexion and red glow in the eyes. I think that's a sign of its influence. This here is 'Mario', I think Geno and Bowser know him. But apparently him and Geno have been fighting, even though they're supposed to be friends. You can see taht right now, Mario still shows the signs. When Ratchet and I encountered you, you were hostile and working with one of the rabbit creatures to try to kidnap Kirby. Ratchet and I got lucky and were able to subdue you, but you showed the signs as well. The fact that you don't remember this encounter is further proof that you were being mind controlled. Right now, we're all really pissed at Galeem and we're all trying to find answers, rescue our friends, and possibly return home. We're all lost, confused, hurt, and feel violated. But we've decided to stick together. Nobody's trying to hurt you or make you do anything you don't want."

She gives Roadhog a few moments to process what she said, before deciding to introduce herself, "My name's Din. I'm...a dancer. From the island of Holodrum, though that probably doesn't mean anything to you." She wondered if it was still prudent to hide the fact that she was the Oracle of Seasons, not that anyone here would know what that meant, or even care. The forces that sought her for her power were probably scattered and disorganized thanks to the cataclysm, so there was really nothing to be hiding from.

Vivian & Sylvia Altissima

Vivian notices John's discomfort, but doesn't say anything, whereas Sylvia fails to notice.

When Neil splashes the liliraune with water, both Vivian and Sylvia gasp in delight as the water seeps rapidly into the soil of their pot and is absorbed through their roots. Their flaccid, wrinkled, dull-green skin fills out, becoming supple, vibrant, and acquiring a healthy sheen. Glistening in moisture, the two run their hands over their faces in joy and relief, closing their eyes and smiling. Remembering her manners, Sylvia says, "Thank you, uh, Neil, was it? We desperately needed that." While the twins were reveling in the water, John introduced himself. "A carpenter? Bart hired us to cook! ...and make medicine. Name's Vivian! ...and Sylvia. If you could show us to the kitchen, garden, and medicine pantry, it would be greatly appreciated! Oh and mister John, if you need a cart..." The liliraune's strong vines and roots wrap around their massive clay pot, gingerly lifting themselves off the wooden plank with wheels that they had used to travel. Landing next to the dolly with a dull 'clink', Vivian continued, "Feel free to use this! I won't need it unless I'm traveling long distance. Within this building, I'm sure I can get around just fine without it." Vivian had a proud, smug, self-satisfied expression, like she just offered the greatest idea in the world, failing to recognize that a wooden dolly like this was not nearly as easy to use as an actual cart or wheelbarrow, whereas Sylvia just offered her sister a look of skepticism.
Sorry for the short post, but I figured I should just get my introduction in first.
