The year is 2016

79 °F, 18 % Humidity, Clear skies

Recap and IC information
  • Move In
    - Ceil discovers that her roommate is none other than fucking Price. That cocky, insufferable little shit. Trying to be the mature roommate, she attempts to say hi but that just turns into her getting 'real' with him after he insults her brother, calls her a slut, and acts like a rude mother fucker. See how angry she got? He ended up making her puke and she texted her brother, hoping to receive comfort. Abe invites her to his room.
    - Tess' roommate is the sexy Abe?! WHAT. Dusty interrupts the potential lovers after she receives an EMERGENCY text from her, then uses their shower. Abe is quite the flirtatious man and uses his moves on Tess. Right before they almost made kissy face, Ceil barges in ready for brother and sister time. That did not turn out pretty.
    - Atticus entered the apartment complex by jumping off a helicopter into the balcony of his room. Or so he thought it was his room. Turns out he broke Mariana's door, who isn't his roommate. Realizing his mistake, he tells her to call maintenance and goes to his room . Seeing Honey beg to die (in a joking manner), he offers to kill him. Honey decides to leave which pisses him off so Attie destroys his bed.

For those who are truly curious, there may be an underground rave happening - somewhere within the Phantasia Plaza.

Some would call the Dorms of Olympus Academy an inaccurate description. As compared to regular dorms on other academies around the state of Utah. In actuality, they are more like apartments - several hundreds of apartments that house the Children of the Gods and Goddesses. The "dorms" are housed in eight one-story floors. Some buildings go with a God-specific system, some gender. There are some that deal with year-specific set-ups, but there are also some that simply don't care about the year or gender or what Godly parent they have.

The size of these apartments depend on what floor one is on. The most common apartment, which usually has two demigods living per apartment, is about the size of two and a half Studio Apartments. These have one bathroom per room, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Each has a balcony for various purposes (or patio if you are on the first floor). All of the Dorm/Apartment Buildings all surround a spacious parking lot.

Available Housing:

1. You may use the NPC anyway you'd like to just do not have your character cuss them out or kill them. They're there for your use so please use them appropriately.

2. Remember that you must write two good paragraphs, minimum, at least. If I feel that your post is lacking some, I'd be sure to let you know via PM.

3. Romance is allowed and in fact, encouraged but fade to black when things go beyond that tender, PG-13 mark. Swearing is fine too, just don't become a sailor.

4. There will be a posting layout and I expect everyone to follow it every single time they post, please. Wherever you see [.hr], just remove the period, please.

Abe’s Outfit | Ceil’s Outfit | Car

“What a perfect day, isn’t it? The sun is shining, it’s barely humid, and the road is pretty much empty.” Abe said, looking briefly over to Cecily, seeing her let the wind blow her hair as she was leaning slightly over the door.

Abe looked ahead. Seeing how beautiful the day was. To think that this was the sixth year that he was going to Olympus Academy. In those six years, he had so many fond memories...and some that he wasn’t so fond of. That’s a given when you’re going to an Academy that caters to the sons and daughters of the Greek Gods and Goddesses, especially those of the Hera and Aphrodite blood. Abe could go on and on about how physically-attractive the daughters are, but the sons, usually, are conceited little bitches. Specifically, that little bitch Skye. Do not put Abe in the same area code next to him. It’s bound to be a bloodbath.

Getting so lost in his thought about how much he hates Skye, Abe didn’t realize that he increased the speed of the car by an extra thirty miles. Originally, he had it at a steady seventy miles per-hour, but now he was closing in on 110mph.

While Abe sped, Cecily took a moment to go to her silver ipod connected to the car adapter and put on A Decade Under the Influence by Taking Back Sunday, her old high school jams. He was deep in thought about something but she was too tired to care - early mornings sucked. What was it now? Almost 9? Blehk! That wouldn’t stop her from doing a little groove in the passenger’s seat and singing along to the rock song.

Bobbing her head and tapping her fingers on her legs, in her coral dress, she sang (with a decent pitched, a little mousey, but overall pleasant voice), “Well, sad, small, sweet, so delicate. It used to be this dying breed. Well, I’ve got a bad feeling about this. I’ve got a bad feeling about this…” The song continued as she reached for her Dunkin Donuts french vanilla coffee (with almond milk because she was lactose intolerant!) in the cupholder between her seat and her brother’s. Mm, coffee. One of her lovely obsessions.

Taking a sip with an obvious expression of satisfaction, she glanced over to look at her brother’s handsome face with her hazel green orbs, or at least that what her eyes looked like in this instant. Ceil was fortunate enough to have him for a brother. Not only did he have looks to die for, don’t let anyone tell you differently, but he was her best friend and meant the world to her. Being children of Zeus’, both Abe and Ceil were seen as their father’s clones. Sure, they may have similarities, but by far, they were nothing like their dick of a dad. After taking another delicate gulp of her addiction with her lightly glossed lips, she gently placed her coffee back, her hair dancing with the wind (she’ll definitely look like a hot mess when they arrived). Ceil wasn’t one to think about much this early in the morning. Another year? Cool. Possible drama? Meh. Sexy eye candy? YES. She was determined to find a boyfriend this year, even if it meant she had to investigate all the male in this damn school. Her single life was going to end soon (hopefully)!

Her gaze softened. Man, why was Abe so… good looking? She had been staying with his family for the past week, because it would make going to school easier if she had him by her side (you know, to help her carry things, carpool, and other fun things). Leaning her head back, she adorably beamed, “What’s on your mind?” Ceil took the next seconds to softly poke his cheek to bring him back to reality, where she was present.

It almost didn’t register with him. So furiously in thought, rage building, very light sparks starting to emerge around him, all the while the speed that the Mustang was going had already passed 120. He was gritting his teeth at the thought at Skye. Sometimes Abe often thought why shouldn’t he assert his power over that bitch boy, Skye? He deserved it, always playing mindgames with his friends, always toying with those that didn’t deserve it. How it would be satisfactory to let that guy burst into a million pieces, but Abe knew deep down that he couldn’t do that — well, okay, not accurate. It’s not that he couldn’t, but he shouldn’t. Trying to not be like Zeus, remember?

Abe was calming down finally, taking a deep breath, and easing up on the gas pedal. The mph was lowering to a steady 80 mph. Calm as much as he could be, he then registered what Cecily had said. “Oh, it’s..” he let his voice trail. He couldn’t say it was nothing. Cecily knew him better to know when he was angered. Plus, almost causing a wreck with the speed he was going was more than “oh it’s nothing”, so Abe would speak again. “It’s that Aphro-son, Skye. I wish I could be like pops, and vaporize him, but I know I shouldn’t because I’m trying not to be a dick.” There, that’s better.

Her brother was hot when he got angry. As much as Ceil should be concerned for the possibility of his anger getting them both killed, she just couldn’t. Ladies would swoon if they saw all the faces of Abe. Resting her hands on her lap, she nonchalantly shrugged, “You let him get under your skin.” After letting that statement linger in the air, she added, “I do think he’s an ass, but you’re just making him win by raging on and on about him!

Playfully, Ceil teased, while grabbing a hold of her dark hair and holding it down, “It’s like you’re in love with him.

Abe nearly lost his shit, swerving somewhat. He gained control back after a moment, but he was looking at Cecily. “That’s not even funny, Cecily. I don’t even want to think about the possibility of him being my roommate. I know anyone who gets him will regret it. I just pray it’s neither of us.”

I’m just saying…” She rolled her eyes, before pouting, “You think about him more than me.” Growing silent, Ceil decided to tie her hair up so she didn’t have to deal with hair flying everywhere anymore. They were almost there. Deciding to change the subject, done with all this Skye petty bullshit, she turned her head to stare at the passing signs, away from her brother, “Well that’s okay! I’m going to have a boyfriend soon anyways.” This may very well mean she would jump in a relationship in spite of Abe. Young Cecily did silly, impulsive things.

“Oh really? No one is good enough for my sister — well, maybe except me, but that’s cheating. No one holds a candle to me.” Abe said, not realizing that he sounded rather conceited there.

Careful boy, you might just be like me yet.

“Oh shut up, will you!” Abe said randomly.

And enraged Abe was back, thanks in due part to dear old dad.

Fine. I won’t talk the rest of the car ride, jerk.” Crossing her arms, Ceil decided to keep to herself and ignore her brother after he so rudely yelled at her. All she did was say she was going to start dating! He didn’t have to yell at her. She made sure she scooted closer to the door and further away from him. When would they be arriving? I don’t want to be near him…

Because this was her brother, when he allowed his anger to backlash at her, she would let it strike her very core. He was one of the only people who could make her cry instantaneously if he wanted to. Plus, it was too early in the morning, which meant cranky, moody, emotional Cecily, who didn’t like to be lashed at, especially by Abe.

“What?” Abe looked at her, seeing her pout. He was confused. Why was she pouting? Did I say something? Oh no, what if.. Perhaps she thought what he said aloud to Zeus was actually directed at her. She did imply that he was pretty much in love with Skye. Oh geez, now he felt like a total dick. Maybe Zeus wasn’t far off. Perhaps he was like him. No, that wasn’t going to happen. He had his faults, but Abe wasn’t going to start off the year contradicting his own philosophy of refusing to be like Zeus by doing the exact opposite.

So, he eased to the side of the road, slowing the car gently. It took about twenty seconds for it to come to a stop. “I wasn’t talking to you, Cecily. I was talking to…someone else.” Abe sighed. He put a hand on Cecily’s arm. He had ways with words, but when he was fucking up and had to apologize, he sucked at it. “Listen, I’m trying to not be like dad here. Everyone has this idea about me being like him. I couldn’t handle it if you thought that about me too.” Abe didn’t know what he was saying had any effect on her mood at the moment, but he had to try. She could take her time because they weren’t going anywhere until she said something that would make him feel better about it all.

Turning her head toward him and locking her gaze with his captivating green eyes, Ceil listened to his words carefully. Ah. He was talking about dad… oops. Man, was it bad that she could forgive him this easily? Maybe she should be a pain and give him a hard time? At least doing that, he would be looking at her. But… they needed to get to school before the assembly started. Damn you time. Silence remained for a couple of seconds. Once she felt like a fair wait had passed, she finally responded, “I would never see you like him, so don’t assume things. I just got upset you suddenly yelled.” Uncrossing her arms, she leaned in toward him with her vibrant smile, offering her cheek to him, “I’ll feel better with a kiss~

Abe smiled, relieved that she wasn’t thinking what he assumed she might think of him. Then, not even a second later, he sighed — laughing somewhat, yes — but the remnant of a sigh remained. As always, with his darling sister, there was always a catch. Regardless of what her demands were, he couldn’t deny her a brotherly peck on the cheek, now could he? Besides, the sooner they got going, the higher chance there was of them not being late. “A hard bargain, but the terms are acceptable.” he said. Abe moved his head towards her cheek, aiming to give her exactly what she requested.

Right before he could plant his lips on her cheek, Ceil swiftly turned and stopped him with her pointer finger, “On second thought, I change my mind. We’re enemies until after the race. I’m going to kick your ass, Abe.” Sticking out her tongue and giving him a challenging glare, she held onto his chin and shook it a little, “You’re so gullible!” Releasing him, slightly upset she didn’t let him, but also proud she stook to her competitive guns, she let out a kittenish giggle, while leaning back.

“I swear, you make me doubt you being Zeus’ daughter. You act like an Aphrodite kin rather than the roaring Thunder God.” Abe said, shaking his head.

He hated when she did this. Just when he thought she was actually serious about certain things, she does shit like this that really gets under his skin. Even though he was a bit irritated by her at the moment, he couldn’t stay like that; not especially when he was looked into those magnificent eyes of hers. Truly, there were moments that he thought it was hard to believe that she was the Daughter of Zeus when she did these teasing games of hers; however, when he looked into her eyes, it was obvious that she was. Only the Kin of Zeus had rare shade of eyes like hers. To think that one moment, it had a predominant shade of that hazel, yet, almost in the blink of an eye(or two), they can warp completely, and almost invertedly, to gold. Only a God’s blood could create something like that.

Even though she had released her grip of his chin, Abe seemed to be frozen in some kind of metaphorical stasis. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her. The way the white and black eyeliner she had surrounding her eyes brought out that hazelish-gold shade of her eyes. He wanted to speak, say that they were good to go, but each time he would attempt to open his mouth, which he had tried several times in the span of three minutes, nothing would come out. Air empty of voice - just this unexplained, and unexplained..infatuation with those orbs, glistening from the morning sunlight.

Before she even got a chance to get all comfy in her chair and lean away from him, he compared her to Aphrodite’s children. No, bitch, no. An irrational anger flushed through her tiny body, “Did you just seriously compare me to someone like Skye?” She was tempted to slap him with how offended she was, but she held herself back - couldn’t ruin his pretty face (yet). Not moments ago, he was raging about a child of Aphrodite and now he was saying she should be one of them!? “Start the car. I need to know who my damn roommate is.” Abe would not get her to forgive him after this low blow, not until after the race at least. Digging in her mini white backpack, she took her phone out to text people and ignore her brother for the rest of the ride.

To: Sweet little Honeybee
My brother just compared me to Skye! Ugh. I’m so annoyed. Hey, what room are you!? :D

To: My #1 Queen
I hope to god we’re roomies. Have you arrived yet?

Abe didn’t even say anything to that last remark. He knew all too well not to pester further when a certain rage got into her eyes. It’s like the sudden shade of gold went amber real quick. Zeus was channeling his anger in her for sure. That fucking prick.

Oh well, Abe turned the car on, and revved the engine. The road was looking great right about now. The sounds of the tires rapidly spinning on the pavement, the good old American muscle showing just how proud it was. If you listened carefully, you would be able to hear the Team America: World Police theme song play from the engine. It was a beautiful machine, but Abe wouldn’t put it above his darling sister. Siblings or not, she was quite inviting on the eyes.

Soon, after a half of an hour of occasional banter, there it was in the view. Surrounded by trees, and a magical force-field that protected the Demigods from any monster trying to kill them, was the illustrious Olympus Academy. Large and spacious, just the parking lot and the apartment buildings made up less than five percent of its entire space. The entire Academy was like a college town and college all in one location. It had shops, little areas that catered to pretty much every need for the teenagers and young adults who went here, not to mention the adults that were apart of the staff. It’s really a wondrous place that the Gods ensured was ideal for their children; even if some of them are grade-A dickwads.

“And we’re here.” Abe announced, pulling into a spot reserved for him. It even has his name on it: “Reserved for Abraham Rothschild, Son of Zeus.” It paid to be the Son of the King, even if Abe couldn’t stand the king,

The car was off, and both of them proceeded to get out. Their bags were in the back seat and trunk - well, Abe’s was in the backseat since he really didn’t have a lot during this trip. He had most of it shipped last week. But Cecily, well she probably needed a lot more room because, well she’s Cecily.

“You need any help?” Abe asked, extending his usual helpful hand.

Spoiled through and through by her brother, she looked at him in a way that said: you seriously just asked that? Grabbing her duffel bag, Ceil looked at her fairly large suitcase, then her brother, then back at the suitcase and sarcastically sighed, “It’s not like you pass my room or that we’re on the same floor. I guess I can carry this heavy case.” Even if she was mad at him, Ceil still was going to utilize his muscles. That’s what brothers were for! To take care of their demanding sisters.

“See, now that wasn’t so hard, was it?” Abe knew she was mad at him, but he had to be the bigger person. Those comments he made about her being an Aphrodite kid wasn’t taken too well by her, so any chance he could take, he would warm his way into her good graces.

He took the heavy bag, and went towards the apartment building that both he and Cecily were being housed at. He saw a lot of familiar faces heading in too. Some of them waved to him, some didn’t, but surely they were heading towards the same place: the elevator. How so many of them fit in there was beyond Abe, but they did. He looked around at them. “What floor?” He asked everyone. Seems they all had the same one, even Cecily. “Fourth floor it is.” he said. Abe pressed the button that would lead to the fourth floor.

Ew. The elevator was filled with sweat and stench and people. Cecily may not have been raised in a wealthy home but she hated feeling claustrophobic. She was sure one of these asswipes didn’t bathe. Steadying her breathing, she counted inside her head, trying to make sure she didn’t pass out in this dreadful confinement. So many bodies were rubbing against her. Wait? Did someone just touch her butt? Turning her body so that her back was leaning up against the elevator wall and closer to her brother for protection, she looked at her gladiator sandals, with her french manicure toe nails and waited in agonizing impatience for the ride to end.

It was a crowded elevator ride with all of the bags and shit they had, but they made it. One by one, each left. Abe was too blinded by the masses pushing and shoving their impatient selves to notice who all was present. That really didn’t matter. Eventually both Abe and Cecily got out. Abe didn’t know about his sister, but he needed a moment just to breathe. These moments were always fun since the roommate arrangements were always different every year. Sometimes they were by year, who the godly parent was, gender, or whatever. So, Abe was quite excited about the reveal.

He took one final breath in, and exhaled. “Alright, you ready? What room do you got? I’m in 4-F.” Abe said, looking to his sister for a response. He was quite eager to hear her response.

Once they were out, Ceil exasperatedly exhaled, “Free at last…” Hearing her brother, she looked up, stared at him briefly, and just led the way. Her room was literally the first one. She did say he had to pass her door, after all. Yes. Ceil may have looked in his school email to see what room he was (don’t tell him that she knows his password!). Opening the door with her school ID key card, the little woman peeked in and saw that her roommate had yet arrived, “Oh thank goodness!” Excitingly and swiftly, she roamed the entire apartment suite and decided to take the room to the right, by the bathroom because she didn’t want to risk losing any shower time! Being close to the bathroom meant she could hear when her roommate was walking to it. If it came down to it, Ceil would rush out and totally steal it!

Opening her door, she gestured for her brother to put her suitcase on her bed. Before he passed her, she stood on her tippy toes and gently pressed her warm lips against his cheek, “I suppose I can reward you for helping me. Thanks so much, Abie!

That surprised him. Abe looked to her, bag still in hand. Frozen again, mesmerized by her eyes again. Damn it, why did she have to be like this? Moody one minute, and forgiving the next? Abe had to shrug, even ignoring that nickname. As much as he wanted to, he wouldn’t say anything, not with how her mood was being this morning.

Setting her suitcase on her bed in her room, and looked at Cecily. “You got the bigger room, it seems.” Abe commented.

Better for company!” She grinningly said, while giving him a little twirl. More because she was observing her room but it did make her dress flow in the air when she spinned.

“Well that wasn’t subtle at all.” he grinned. Abe indeed did notice her twirl herself around. It caught his interest in more ways than he would care to admit vocally. “It better not be anyone I know.” Abe said, boasting rhetoric protectively.

Slowly stepping closer to her brother, her inspiring orbs coming off dangerously daring, she whisperingly cooed, “You’ll just have to find out, now won’t you?” By now, she was inches away and looking up at him. Cecily was a she-devil in disguise. Bringing her hands to his chest, giving off something that can be easily misunderstood, she gently backed him out of her room, “Okay! I gotta unpack. I’ll see you at the assembly. Bye now~” her comment was abrupt and most definitely unexpected.

Never was there a moment where Abe had been more flustered, more confused about a situation in his life. “Have fun..” Abe bitterly swallowed the rest of his words, and left, getting his own bags, and he soon went to his own room.

The morning had just begun, and he already was feeling a migraine forming. Still, his mind went to the “what if?” scenario that she didn’t stop. What are you doing, Zach? Don’t think like that. She’s your sister. Though, dick dad married Hera, his sister, so - NO! Stop it right now. Abe needed a drink. Gods he needed one badly. Maybe later, but for right now, he had to get to his room, and find out who mystery roommate was.

As he entered his room and closed the door behind him, he saw a set of bags already in. That meant whoever it was, they were already in the room. “Hello! Is anyone here?” Abe called out loudly but not blaringly loud.

Webster had stopped coming to school with his dad the moment he'd gotten his license. After sixteen years, he was done with the long talks about achievements, and how his heritage on both sides meant he was supposed to be great. So it was, that as he pulled into the school parking lot, he was alone, for the third year in a row. He wasn't all that torn up about it, if he was being quite honest. Better alone than with the unpleasant company of Johnathan Frederick O'Connor II.

Stepping out of his car, he smiled as he laid his eyes on the campus which he'd considered his home for the past four years. He grabbed his two suitcases from the top luggage rack, and grabbed a bookbag from his passenger seat, one that was bulging with an assortment of novels as well as his laptop. It was most certainly well past capacity, although he paid it no heed, and instead slung it over his shoulder and walked towards the apartment building where he'd be living for the next year, suitcases trailing behind him.

When he arrived at his dorm, he discovered it to be unoccupied. It was sparkling clean, and easily one of the most poorly decorated places on the planet. But, tacky decor aside, it was to be his home for the next year. He might as well come to enjoy it. Claiming the room on the right, he set down his suitcases with a thud. Resting on the bare mattress was a card, with his name written on it in a scrawl that was too perfect to be mortal. Mom, he thought, moving towards the card as if worried it would bite him.

Luckily, he picked up the card without any biting, and he opened it up, prepared for a nice, heartfelt note. That's what he would've liked. Instead, written in the same scrawl as the front was a single sentence. Have a good year! He grimaced. "Thanks Mom. Really feeling the love with that one," he said to no one in particular. He grabbed the card, and nearly threw it in the trash, but instead placed it on the nightstand that rested next to the mattress. Sighing, he began to unpack, listening for any sounds coming from his roomie to be, entering.

It had been a perfectly wonderful morning. She'd woken up early so she could get school on time, saying goodbye to her dad and hopping into Mercy, her car which already had all her bags packed into the trunk. The drive had been a nice one, top down, wind whipping her red tresses around her head, music blasting. She always loved going back to OA. It always felt like she was going home.

She'd arrived before just about everyone else, and had been the first one into her dorm room. As she'd been unpacking, her day took a turn. She heard the door open, and was just about to pop her head out and introduce herself, when she heard his voice. Oh gods no! Please let me be wrong! she thought, peeking out of her room only to confirm her suspicions. Abe Rothschild was her fucking roommate.

Her heart pounding, she whipped out her phone, scrolling through her contacts until she found Dusty. She fired off a quick text, trying not to make a noise as she slid to the ground, back resting against her bedroom door.

To - Dust Storm
ALERT! ROTHSCHILD IS MY ROOMIE!! I REPEAT, THAT FINE ASS SON OF ZEUS IS MY ROOMIE I'M FREAKING OUT HELP!! HE'S TOO HOT I CAN'T!!

She was freaking out. She'd been crushing on that boy since her first year. Granted, she'd been crushing on many boys, as Webster would happily point out, but Abe had been the first. What the fuck am I doing? I'm Tess Galloway, bad ass daughter of Artemis. I can handle a cute boy for Olympus' sake! she thought. She shot off another text to Dusty, before standing up.

To - Dust Storm
I'M GONNA INTRODUCE MYSELF I'VE GOT THIS I'VE GOT THIS

Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she opened her door and walked out into the main section of the apartment, and her eyes landed on Abe. "Oh, heya. I didn't hear you come in. I'm Tess, Tess Galloway," she said, hands on her hips, grinning. She tried and failed to lean nonchalantly against the wall, at which point she decided that hands on hips was the better pose. She didn't need to slip and get a concussion right in front of the son of Zeus. That would be bad. Well, unless I needed mouth to mouth. Then I think I could take one for the team.

Dustyn Taylor Flint

Location: Some stranger's room in the dorms to her car and back into the dorms
Interacting With: Tess - @smarty0114 Zach - @Altered Tundra

A loud snore erupted from the mass of flesh that had it's arm around Dustyn Taylor Flint. Her eyes slowly begin to open, practically glued shut with this morning's eye gunk and last night's mascara. A look of disgust spread across her face as she looked to the man to her right. "Fucking. Gross." she spoke aloud as she pushed his heavy arm off her chest. Sitting up she looked down and let out of a sigh of relief- her pants were on so that probably didn't mean she had any type of action.

Seconds after Dusty sat up in the bed, the man awoke from his slumber. If it had been under different circumstances, it might have been romantic as the two intently locked eyes with one another. He parted his lips and in anticipation Dustyn raised her eyebrows in curiosity as to what the mystery man had to say about the situation. Vomit erupted from his lips instead of sweet nothings, and rolled down his bare chest and onto the bed sheets.

"Fucking. Gross."

Dustyn bounded off the bed, snatching her phone off the floor and left as she took her leave from the room. As she darted down the hallway, she flew down the flight of the stairs hoping no one she knew would see her coming. Reaching the front door of one of the many dorms, she looked out to her car in the street. Dustyn's car was a mix of a few car parts in all honesty. It had started off as a ford focus or something like that, but after a few accidents it had been reconstructed into a barely working mess. The bright color of the ticket in her windshield, a simple reminder of why she hated the piece of shit. Taking the ticket off the car, she opened her car door and tossed it in the passenger seat with the various clothes, trash, and other items of interest.

Reaching into the glove box, she pulled out the keys and shoved them into the ignition. "Come on frankie." she pleaded as she tried to turn the engine over. She had named the car in honor of the classic horror movie Frankenstein, as her car looked like the monster the doctor had produced. As she attempted to start the car with her one hand, in the other her cellphone buzzed signaling a text.

From - T-BONE STEAK
ALERT! ROTHSCHILD IS MY ROOMIE!! I REPEAT, THAT FINE ASS SON OF ZEUS IS MY ROOMIE I'M FREAKING OUT HELP!! HE'S TOO HOT I CAN'T!!

Of course Tess had already gotten into the dorms and assigned her room mate already. A quick glance into the back of Dustyn's car she saw her various suitcases, backpacks, and piles of clothes taking up the backseat. She had forgotten that it was moving in day already once again. As the sound of the radio blasting hip hop music exploded from the car. Getting Dustyn's attention that the car was now in motion, she pulled out of the parking spot quick and began heading towards her assigned dorm. Like a good and responsible citizen she texted back to Tess as she drove.

To - T-BONE STEAK
LOL. IT'S DESTINY. ASK HIM TO SHOW YOU HIS 8 INCH THUNDERBOLT.

A small laugh escaped from the girl's lips as she pressed send. It was a good thing that she made herself laugh, because more often than not- her humor wasn't met with such approval. She tossed the phone over to the seat with the other treasures as she drove the few minutes to her assigned dorm room. She wouldn't bother moving things in just yet, as she was often on the move and staying over at other's places anyways.

Parking, she placed her keys in the glovebox as usual, and grabbed her phone. Another text from Tess, meant that the girl was either going to be in for a treat this year or there was going to be a lot of trouble. Getting out of the car she examined herself in the hanging side view mirror. She was very informal for the first day of school, a white tank top and some jean shorts. Not showered, her hair a mess and her teeth un-brushed for at least a day. Any man's dream wife, she was sure of it. Reaching back into the car, she reached into the treasure pile and found a pack of gum. It would have to do until she could get some TLC from Tess. Slamming the door, she shoved her phone into the small pocket of her shorts and walked into the dorms.

Before long, the young girl was knocking- no pounding on the dorm room door belonging to Tess and Zach. She was probably going to regret interrupting the totally hot make out session that these two were probably having already, but she proceeded to pound loudly anyways. Without patience, Dustyn let herself into the room. "Oh my God Tess, this is how every person gets murdered around here, leaving their damn door unlocked- we're not in the 1940's anymore, we can't just let our milkman babysit our kids and fuck our wives." the girl claimed, walking into the room and looking towards Zach and then Tess with a shit-eating grin. She knew she was never going to hear the end of this one. "Good morning you two!" she said, placing her hands on her hips in a mirror to Tess.

LOCATION - DORM ROOM
INTERACTIONS - BROTHER BEAR {VIA TEXT @McHaggis}
OUTFIT

There was a loud laugh errupting from the inside of the red Ford Fiesta, the driver enjoying a nice ride through the somewhat empty roads with nice weather. Mariana rolled down the car window, leaning back comfortably against the cushions of the car with one hand firmly gripping the steering wheel while the other was used to gesture as she sung along to Halsey blaring through the almost busted radio.

It was a bright and wonderful, serving to only further Mariana's good mood as she approached closer and closer to Olympus Academy. She was officially starting her third year at the Academy for the children of the Gods, and she couldn't be any more excited for it. She'd always found the academy to be a positive place to have fun and relax as much as a place where she could safely practice her powers as a demi-goddess. Mariana wondered whether this year she was going to be able to see Apollo again. She'd barely seen him during her second year at the academy, and the times he had visited was always like a brief catch-up.

But Mariana never complained. He's a God, it was understandable, right?

The car slowed to a stop as she drove past the open gates of the academy, driving into the car-park before parking in her usual spot - the spot she'd claimed for the past year since she'd gotten a car. , the engine cutting with a low hum before complete silence. The car was definitely an old one, second hand with many scratches along it's dark red paint - a birthday gift for a girl turning eighteen. Despite the ruggedness, Mariana still loved it. It was her own, and something she'd cherish as a gift from her grandparents.

Gifts didn't come all that often in the Dixon household, mainly because of how little money there was in the first place. Both adults were retired citizens, who had no reason to be taking care of a teenaged girl, but here they were. To see the campus grounds so nearly empty surprised Mariana. After the day she'd had, she almost expected the campus to be filled with teens and young adults, ready to start the new academic year at Olympus Academy. Before leaving her car, she hunted for her phone in the little tote bag she had tucked away on the passenger seat beside her, pulling out her old phone to check for messages.

'Has he not even arrived yet?' She wondered. She had no idea when Laurel was planning on turning up - if he was planning to anytime soon.

TO: Brother Bear
Where are you? I've just arrived at the Academy and it looks like no one is here 😭 😭

Sending off the text, she tucked her phone back in before leaving with her bag and two cases filled to the brim with books and clothes. The apartment block looked like a disaster from the outside (so... bright...) but it had been her home for the last two years - and would be for years to come. Plus the rooms were much better anyway, they were spacious at least so even if you disliked your roomie it gave you a better chance to hide out most of the time.

Mariana dragged her case into the elevator, pressing the button leading to the fourth floor as she waited impatiently. She could only hope that she wasn't going to have someone she'd not get along with as a room-mate. That was the last thing she needed this year.

Ding!

The elevator doors opened and the first thing Mari did was approached the list of rooming assignments, anxiously checking through the list to find her name - "4-D... Vincent Monogan..." Poseidon's son? Okay, not bad. While she didn't know him, she hadn't heard anything bad, so it had to be okay right? Either way, she'd figure things out later whenever he arrived. Firstly, she had to choose the best room.

Here we go...

LOCATION: CAR → DORMS (4-G)
INTERACTION: “the clingy one” via text @lovely complex; “dickface” via text @McHaggis; mention of Dustyn @MissCapnCrunch; mention of Abe @Altered Tundra

Fuck, Honey hated Utah. Hot air breathed into the truck’s open window, warming the back of his neck and making the vehicle seem entirely too small. Honey was from Florida, he was used to heat, but not like this. The sun felt dry and harsh; it caused his back to itch and Honey lazily stretched back into the truck’s seat, rubbing it against the uncomfortable material of the driver’s seat to scratch it. It was nearly nine in the morning and Honey had been laying in his truck for the past two hours, watching as student’s passed by him. He was reclined backwards, only the top of his head and his eyes peering from the window, and so most students didn’t even see him as they stopped to fix their teeth in his mirror.

“Fuck.” Honey mumbled, glaring at the car door as if that would make his problem go away. First days were so annoying, beyond annoying, and Honey was stalling from joining the rest of the students at Olympus Academy. That, and his ass was numb from driving for thirty-five hours with only one stop for rest. Honey’s pale hands scrubbed at his face, wishing the greasy sluggish feeling away – the feeling that one gets after a too-long, unexpected nap or when one has been half-awake for too long, not quite asleep but not quite awake.

The Southern boy’s hand twitched and stuttered when he flicked the lock on his door open, mentally preparing himself to have to deal with people. As if God – or perhaps just Artemis – had answered his prayers, Honey’s shark-encased phone vibrated against his thigh with the generic ringtone that came with it.

From: the clingy one
My brother just compared me to Skye! Ugh. I’m so annoyed. Hey, what room are you!? :D

Honey’s lip quirked upwards in a silent thanks to Cecily. His fingers quickly typed out a response, only half thinking of what he was writing and not really paying attention to anything in particular. Next to him, a car swerved into parking and Dustyn climbed out to inspect herself in the mirror – quickly, Honey ducked down in his seat and prayed to Cecily’s father that he wouldn’t be seen. Not that Dustyn would give him a hard time, she was actually pretty easy to shake as he just had to ignore her and then poof! she’d leave, but he still needed a moment of peace and silence before dealing with the outside world. Honey hit send on his phone and hoped that Cecily would text him back real quick.

To:the clingy one
drag him. rm 4-G

Honey blew air out of his mouth, tapping his phone against his leg as if that would make the text message come quicker. When five minutes came and go, Honey had opened and closed his weather app no less than eight times (79 °F, 46 % Humidity, Clear skies) and had taken five separate pictures of that one annoying fat cat in Neko Atsume (why did it always have to eat all the food? that sashimi stuff was expensive). The fifteen minute mark came and Honey reluctantly opened the door, shouldering his bag as his booted foot stepped onto the concrete. His phone buzzed in his pocket.

“You fucking kidding me?” Honey grunted, slamming Dorothy’s door shut and fishing the phone out of his zip-up hoodie.

From: dickface
u+me sprtn race ill fite u x

Honey stopped walking, his feet planting on the sidewalk. The worst thing was getting texts from Laurel Price – who got his phone number Lord knows how – not just because they were so antagonistic but because it was like trying to read hieroglyphics with a morse code book. Okay, so: you plus me sprinting(?) race I’ll fight you and that insufferable x thing he does. What sprinting race? Honey stared at the text message for a good half a second before he realized it was supposed to be Spartan. God, this hurt his head. Should he even reply? Honey didn’t want Laurel to be encouraged by him texting back, but there was a competitive itch that Honey damn well couldn’t ignore.

To: dickface
doesnt it take more effort to type like a dipshit?

Honey began to walk again. The dorm building loomed ahead of him and people were milling in and out casually, suitcases and boxes filling their arms. Honey stood on the edge of confliction, wanting to go in and sleep in his bed, but not wanting to chance any encounters with someone he knew. Honey opened up his phone again and sent one more message:

To: dickface
ill destroy you

With conviction come on Honey, you little wuss, Laurel would have no problem doing this – what’s the worst that could happen Honey pressed his hands against the cold glass of the dorm building and pushed it open. Just in case anybody he knew was lurking around, Honey ducked his head down with his hood up and slipped into the back of the elevator. Said elevator was practically empty except for three or four people and Honey mentally cheered: you did it you little shit! And then someone called for them to hold and somehow Honey ended up squished between a titan of a person and Dionysus boy who spelled like vomit.

To make matters worse: Cecily, the bitch who could have saved him from this hell with a simple text message, and her brother slipped into the elevator. Honey shrugged his shoulder up and scrunched his body down, hoping she wouldn’t chance a glance behind and see him. The elevator jolted upward and when they hit the first floor, Honey felt himself grow more and more uncomfortable. An Aphrodite girl (she had to be an Aphrodite, being that beautiful) was pressed against his back, sandwiched between him and the fucking titan and it incredibly uncomfortable. Honey blamed Cecily – if she had texted him, he could’ve gotten onto an empty elevator.

Out of spite, Honey reached as far as he could and pinched Cecily’s backside before quickly withdrawing – he pointedly ignored the sharp glance from vomit-breath whose mouth was breathing down on Honey. Cecily deserved it.

Honey lingered in the elevator when everyone left, waiting till it was empty before he surged forward with his bag and wandered down the hall. He walked with his shoulder pressed against the wall, trying to maintain a distance from the students rushing back and forth up and down the corridor. It was with relief that he entered his dorm.

Honey didn’t dawdle – he barely spared the other room a glance, but instead immediately went for the room in the back, farthest away from the entrance. The bed looked untouched and everything was silent – his roommate wasn’t here, thank god. But there came another dilemma: should Honey risk an awkward encounter now or leave and come back when his dorm mate was settled for the awkward encounter?

“Fuck.” Honey fell onto the bed, “Someone put me out of my misery.”

LOCATION - Helicopter, Dorm 4-D, Dorm 4-G

INTERACTIONS - Mariana @Aewin, Hunter @Apokalipse

The face of a gorgeous, brunette woman bobbed back and forth energetically on the screen of an extravagant phone, her mouth erupting in a river of words. Between the constant roar of the helicopter’s blades and his own disinterest, Atticus Caesar could not fathom anything his mother’s ruby red lips vomited out over his headphones. “…going to the spa later… manicure… and I’m getting… new furs.” were words he was able to make out, none of which surprised him. Maria Caesar, mother to the brute of a man, was a self-absorbed woman who cared only about herself and her looks. It was a small wonder the savage Ares took interest in an air-headed bimbo such as herself. Aside from video calls like this, Atticus rarely ever saw his mother nowadays since she was always traveling. In fact, the last time he’d actually seen her in person was last Christmas. Strange, considering how possessive she had been over him when he was a child.

In his peripheral view, Atticus’ hazel orbs saw the pilot upfront hold up a hand and give a familiar signal: it was about time to land. ”Mother.” his gruff, harsh sounding voice ground Maria’s one-sided conversation to halt. ”I have arrived. See you later.” Without saying a proper, loving goodbye, the man ended the call with a simple touch of his finger. His right hand firmly grasped the railing next to him and easily slid the helicopter’s cabin door open, revealing the stunning sight of Olympus Academy’s massive campus. This is the home away from home he’d known for the past decade. ”4-G.” Atticus barked at the pilot. Wind billowing through his cropped hair, the student dormitory came closer and closer.

Every student near a window could see the copter approach the building, perhaps just a bit too close for comfort. If they didn’t see it, then they certainly heard the loud scream of the rotors. Hovering just outside what the pilot assumed was Apartment 4-G, Atticus observed the gap that stood between him and the balcony. It was a fair distance, although not unwarranted since the pilot needed enough space to let his blades spin. His head bowed down, glaring at the students funneling into the main entrance. A fall from this height definitely would kill him, but he wasn’t about to play it safe. The hulking man grabbed a heavy rucksack from in front of him, stood up, and prepared to make his boundless leap. A deep breath and a short running start later, Atticus’ bulky form hurled through the air and easily landed on his living quarter’s bare balcony.

The tall man dusted off his elegant threads before hoisting the rucksack over his shoulder. Behind him, the copter’s engine rumbled and made its leave. No heed was paid to the leaving chopper, and his legs carried him over to the glass sliding door, which he attempted to pull open. However, the door did not simply open; it seemed to buckle under his strength and completely fell off the rails that kept it upright. Growling lowly to himself, the Sanguine Son rolled into the apartment, finding it to be as comfortable as they always were. ”Cursed door…” he muttered with a seething attitude, his heavy feet stomping through the living room and towards the first bedroom he could find. He had been alerted that his roommate would be a man named Hunter, someone Atticus scarcely knew, but someone he would subjugate if they were a problem. However, the brute did not find a man in this first room… He found a woman.

Atticus leered at the average-sized brunette for a good minute, quizzically quirking a single eyebrow. She was quite a sight with her frazzled hair and hour glass figure, something that definitely appeased an inner hunger within the bestial man. There was no clear expression of his appreciation for her beauty scrawled upon his face though, although his eyes did seem to widen a little. After what seemed to be an eternity, he finally spoke. ”…They gave you a faulty door. Call maintenance.” With that though, Atticus turned his back to the unnamed woman and proudly strode out of the mistaken apartment.

A few doors down and the lug finally arrived at his proper residence. Like the other apartment, it was spacious and clean, although it certainly lacked the decadence of his Monacan mansion. Nonetheless, it would suffice. The room he headed toward, again, had another in it, but this time it was the person of the appropriate gender, muttering something about ending his misery, as if he were some kind of wounded animal. ”I shall grant you a swift death, if you so desire” he stated casually, his hazel eyes digging daggers into the scrawnier man. It was very clear that Atticus thought Hunter was being serious about wanting to die, for no sooner than the larger man spoke, he already had drawn a vicious looking dagger from his rucksack. "There is no better person to lose your life to than the Sanguine Son himself, so speak your peace if you are ready to die." a certain arrogance was laced into his voice now, and his heavy feet began to approach Hunter's bed, dagger at the ready.

Preston James McTavish

Location; Dorm Lobby
Interacting With; NPC Mentioned: Peter @SouffleGirl123

The Son of Hera arrived like a Prime Minister. A white Hummer H2 pulled up to the sidewalk in front of the dormitory building along with five other vehicles from black Fords to Chevy Impalas. The vehicles lined the edge of the sidewalk before several men wearing black suits and wires popped open their car doors and began to rush the lengthy limousine. New students might have actually thought that the President of the United States had just arrived to the dormitory until one of the suited gentleman approached the side door and opened it. A black polished shoe settled onto the vehicle’s step before a second shoe followed to step down onto the sidewalk. The ten suits formed a file leading to the door of the dormitory as a young man donning a creamy-white suede long jacket with fur lining its interior passed between them. His dark hair was combed and whipped with light oil, hairline straight and crisp over brows that hovered above a pair of black and gold Maybach-styled sunglasses. The man was a student, but with the way he walked and dressed, one might have confused him for a world leader—they wouldn’t be wrong.

As Preston passed, he was donning a freshly-pressed black suit and tie with a silk and gold undershirt and black waistcoat. The suits behind him began to close the path. Two stayed behind to watch the vehicles, while the rest followed behind him in two files. His white coat swayed to his confident swagger, his arms having a natural narcissistic swing, showing off the fancy Meteor watch on his wrist and black diamond and rose gold rings on his middle and ring fingers. Two suits opened the door to the dormitory lobby as Preston passed through, crossing the floor that seemed to echo with the numerous steps of him and his men.

The dormitory manager was busy at a computer in a small office behind a glass window. She was a small woman with shoulder-length gray hair. She wore a tacky (are my thoughts escaping me?) pink strawberry shirt with black tear drops knitted into it that represented watermelon seeds more than strawberry seeds. Or…was it a watermelon shirt? Whatever. Ugly shirt, blue jeans, and tan boat shoes. She resembled a grandmother that crawled out of the clearance rack at Forever 21 and was probably some hired contractor, but Preston had encountered this woman every year, and he played the same old game with her.

Preston stopped at the counter, glancing down at the visitor’s log and instead of using the pen that was already lying across a sign-in roster, he reached into his inner coat pocket to remove a black leather pen case. Popping it open, he removed one of his own slick black pens and filled out his name in an intricate calligraphy.

Raising his head, his brows crashed together over his shades, and he turned an ear over his shoulder as he asked his escorts: “What time is it?”

The question seemed preposterous since he could have simply glanced at his own watch, but…

“9:05,” one of his men responded.

He didn’t have to.

As soon as Preston finished signing in, the dorm manager happened to glance over her shoulder and she sighed in exasperation when she saw Preston and his sycophants crowding her window. Really, he resembled a mafia boss with all of his father’s goons. The short older woman, after rolling her eyes, smiled and rose from her chair to approach the counter.

“Welcome back Mr. McTavish. I don’t owe you any money, do I?” the dorm manager joked.

“Not this time, Ms. Duval,” he replied, going along with the joke. “I want to know what sort of asylum they have me assigned to this year.”

Ms. Duval arched a brow and fanned a dismissive hand at him. “Oh come on dear, they’re not that bad. One moment.”

The little woman returned to her computer and after a few clicks here and there was glancing over a spreadsheet.

“You are assigned to room 4-K.”

“Are you certain? Because if there’s another Preston McTavish, I would rather get a hotel room this year,” Preston asked.

“Hm…” Ms. Duval pretended to look over the spreadsheet. “Nope. It’s you, Preston James McTavish and your roommate-”

“Beg your pardon?”

“I said your roommate-”

“Pardon?”

Ms. Duval turned in her chair to give Preston a plain, narrow-eyed stare.

Even with his eyes obscured by his dark shades, she could see the horror and anger on his face. His jaw tightened as he tried to resist the nasty words that hammered at his lips.

“Since when do I have a roommate? I haven’t had a roommate since gods know when.”

He was suddenly having flashbacks. Oh gods…his roommate back then had been so morbidly obese. It might have been an exaggeration but a fat ass was a fat ass. There was no gray in Preston’s psychology. And he had smelled! No matter how many times that fat bastard had showered, he still stank. Recalling that nightmare had caused his heart to race and he rested his hands upon the cool countertop for he felt them becoming anxious. He just wanted to throw the visitor log across the room. Was Olympus Academy trying to fuck with him on his last year?

“His name is Peter McMillian,” Ms Duval revealed.

“Who the bloody hell is that? I’ve been here for seven years, and I’ve never heard of this bloke.”

Preston brought his fingers to the bridge of his nose and pinched it briefly before removing his shades to reveal his mineral blue eyes. He sighed heavily in exasperation and as though he was short of breath.

“I need to sit down.”

The suits stepped aside as Preston walked over to the lounge area and took a seat in one of the leather chairs. He spread his arms over the armrests, the leg of his sunglasses pinched between his index finger and thumb. He eased his head back on the back of the chair and just closed his eyes as he tried to push aside all of his fears.

This is a bloody demigod school. How do fat demigods even exist?

I want to kill myself. (he’s muttering to himself)

Nervously, the suits made a motion toward him and Preston opened his eyes to give them a shrewd glare.

“Back it up. Do you really think I would kill myself? My reputation is above dying like a cunt just because some fat dirty bastard could be my roommate.” (He was forever scarred)

Sitting forward in his chair, his elbows rested above his knees and his hands came together as he leaned over and closed his eyes. He was just about calm and ready.

“Right…well, let’s just get this wonderful year over with,” he grumbled facetiously.

Rising from his chair, he walked over to one of his escorts and removed his rings, watch, and coat. He handed each of the items to his men.

“I won’t be needing these. If I’m going to be living like a tramp, then I might as well look like one.”

Ms. Duval shook her head at the young man. He was certainly being over-dramatic.

Preston returned to the counter and reached into his pants pocket to remove his wallet and ID card so that the dorm manager could reprogram it with his new room code. Olympus Academy could not screw him any harder than that. He was actually starting to feel good about the whole thing. It was making him stronger. He was giving less and less fucks every year.

When Ms. Duval handed the card back to him, she tried to comfort, “Everything will be all right, dear. Just try to have a good year.”

“Right.”

Preston faced his escorts and pointed at each of the gentlemen he commanded (without using his powers mind you), “You three will get my things. The rest of you will follow me upstairs. The room’s probably sprinkled in roach shite. We got some cleaning and unpacking to do before that gods-awful assembly.”

After dishing out those commands, Preston headed for the lift with the remaining five escorts.

Alexander Reisender

Location; Olympus Academy Parking Lot → His dorm
Interacting With; Webster (@smarty0114)

Parking his car, Alex couldn’t help but think about how much has changed the last few years. For some reason, the moment he enrolled in Olympic Academy his real mom upped the pace on his studies. Delivering more Grimoires and giving more tips on where he could find a hidden clue for a spell. Even after 4 years he often returned to the books he got back when he was but a child. Discovering more. At the same time, nearly every summer his mother had some tickets for some remote part of Denmark or pushed him to do a hike through a part of Germany. Quickly he learned what was behind it, though he was happy that last year his mom chose to send him to Greece. He loved the warm weather.

He got out of the old piece of crap car and grabbed his backpack. When he got it, it had looked normal, mundane. Now there was no doubt that he and he alone could have such a strange contraption of belts, cords, and other things. Holding staves, rings, a wand, bottles with strange liquid. The backpack could have come straight from some Wiccan fair. From his trunk he grabbed two suitcases. One noticeably smaller than the other. Those who knew Alex, knew what was in which one. The smallest held his clothes, a small collection. Most of it picked by his step-mom. He wasn’t that good with clothes, but she was. And despite the fact that he often, vocally uttered his disliking of shopping, he was now grateful that he at least had some nicer clothes than the rags he used to walk around in.

The other suitcase held even more of his magical items, and raw materials. An entire section of the suitcase was dedicated to herbs, and to his shame he didn’t know the Latin and Greek name of every single one yet. He also wanted to drag along his brazier, but his stepmom forbids it. He wasn’t too happy about that one, but in the car he suddenly realized that he would share his room with someone. And that someone might now be so happy that he was lighting coals and fire in the middle of their room. So again, his step-mom was right all along.

Dragging the suitcases behind him, he managed to jam himself in an already pretty packed elevator. Despite the horrendous ordeal to get his luggage near his room, he was ready to open the door with a big smile for his new roommate. Whoever it may be. The sun was shining, he was back from an awesome trip and he had one more year until the serious assignments would start. What could go wrong!? So as cheery as a demi-god could be he opened the room. “Hello my-“ but the sight of Webster stopped his excitement dead in its track. “Oh…”

Location; On the road → Parking lot → Dorm
Interacting With; No one
Mood; Slightly happy
Skye could be seen on the road as he made his way towards the infamous Olympus Academy. The whole drive he was wondering to himself if he really wanted to back for another year or not, often pulling to the side of the road to ponder that decision. With a sigh, he pulled back onto the road and continued his drive. He didn't want to disappoint anyone so he might as well go and just mess with the other kids while he's there. Skye decided to put on his music to take his mind off of things but of course, nothing good was playing on the radio so he just shut it off. He rolled his window down and placed his arm there now as he saw the dorm building within the distance.

'Here we go.' Skye had thought to himself as he pulled into the parking lot and looked at everyone as they passed. Even though Skye's personality has changed somewhat this year, he still turned his nose up at most people who passed by him, not wanting to be touched. He got out of his car after rolling up the window then popped the trunk with the simple click of a button. Skye grabbed his luggage bags, closed his trunk and wheeled the luggage bags behind him as he entered the building.

Of course, there were people waiting for the elevator so he pushed his way through the sea of people to be right there when the doors were to roll open. He managed to get in there managed to hit the number four button as he was assigned to the fourth floor and they was no way he was going to walk the stairs. Though the smell of sweat made him want to do so but instead, he held his nose with his thumb and index finger.

As the elevator dinged and the doors rolled open again, Skye exited the elevator, gasping for air as that stench was really unbearable. With a huff and flip of his bang, Skye walked over to his dorm room and opened the door. He could obviously tell that his roommate wasn't there yet because nothing had been touched, which was good for him because he got to claim whichever side of the room he wanted.

With a smirk, Skye started to unpack his belongings and such then laid down on the bed, leaving his dorm room door open. He laid there looking up at the ceiling with his hands clasped behind his head.

The daughter of Hera can never be late, which is the mantra that rolled around in Avery Stratton's head as her chartered limo pulled into the parking lot. The limo was her idea and bankrolled by her ugly but brilliant father - some might raise eyebrows at someone Avery's age still getting handouts from a parental figure but her counter would be a simple roll of the eyes and a mention that everyone that walks the halls of Olympus Academy are relying on handouts from their parents in some way. A limo wouldn't break the bank of the Stratton household, even one that had leather seats, a stocked bar, and a window so she didn't have to look at the driver. The bar remained virtually untouched, it was before noon and she wasn't sucking at the toes of Dionysus the Lush. But a bit of a kicker in the coffee never hurt anyone.

When her limo arrived at the Academy she didn't bother checking the time because, as she was saying internally, the daughter of Hera never could be late. And even if she WASN'T so fortunate as to be related to one of the big players in the pantheon, Avery J. Stratton the person could NEVER be late. And the reason for that was rather simple. Avery had spent years at this Academy building her reputation until she was able to firmly position herself as the once and future Queen. Being a seventh year had its perks, who would challenge her position? The eighth year boys could battle it out for the status of king if they were so inclined, but Queen? That role was hers. If you say something long enough, it does become true.

Avery stepped out of the limo and took a glance around at the people hoisting their belongings and hoofing it into the dorms. Why anyone would struggle with baggage was lost on her as a simple clapping of the hands and the chauffeur was now responsible for the rather heavy luggage Avery had brought with her. Much too early for strenuous activity, and with Avery's goal this year being to find a potential replacement - always a Queen after all - she had to be in tiptop shape. Judgment began before the school year.

The elevators inside the dorm had a line of people waiting and entering, a rather unfortunate annoyance. The stairs were simple out of the question. "Move." Avery spoke, commanded really, and the line of people parted to the side just as an empty elevator opened its doors. "Fourth floor, Henri, do not be overlong." With a smirk and a wave to the chauffeur, the elevator doors closed and Avery was free to enjoy the ride upwards.

The enjoyment lasted up until her feet took her to her assigned room. It was down a ways, a complaint might have to be filed towards whoever it was that assigned rooms, but in all honesty it didn't quite matter, a Queen could rule from a stable if she were truly regal. Avery half expected her room mate to be late on arrival or else her electric cohort. What awaited her was neither.

"You know, Skye Woodsen, it is customary to not decide beds until both parties have arrived." Avery knew the names of some, not all, but some of her fellow demigods, and Skye's name she knew simply because it was her job to know the names and faces of those who could potentially fill the future Avery void. And that was not a euphemism. "Well, are you not just the most fortunate student at Olympus, Skye Woodsen? You have the rare honor of being among the upper echelon, and I highly suggest you do nothing to jeopardize that. This year is looking up for you, and as a show of good faith I will let you have that bed you have chosen. Never say I never did anything for you."

With a soft grin, Avery took her phone in hand and flipped through her missed messages, taking a moment only to respond to one.

To: Electric Lady
I am here, meaning we are not room mates. Does not matter, we can run things anywhere. My room came with a boy toy. Save me a seat at the assembly.

"And so we are back again," Avery spoke to herself before taking a seat on the edge of her now claimed bed. Another year was starting.

"This was your idea, Alessandra."

The sighing voice of Margaret Sykes came with the shaking of her head. Every year Alessandra thought to make an entrance and every year they had fallen a bit flat through no fault of her own. Year one saw Alessandra arrive late enough to where no one was left in the parking lot to notice the girl arriving on the back of a motorcycle (she had a helmet and was terrified for the majority of the trip). Year two saw Alessandra tripping and falling directly onto her face as she attempted to get out of a rather large hummer. This year, her third, she included her mother in the proceedings. Why go big and high concept when arriving with police escort painted the picture Alessandra was going for?

She was the daughter of the god of war, she had to stand high and tall! She didn't cut an imposing figure like the other Ares-kin that was surely making people incredibly uncomfortable, so she had to be creative first and then strong. There were clearly some perks with having a mother in the police, such as the siren wailing as the cruiser pulled into the parking lot. Alessandra could see heads turning to see the sound, though considering the sights that had been seen in the parking lot already, it was quite possible that a cop car rated about a four on the meter.

Still, Margaret Sykes was in full on commitment mode as she pulled up her sunglasses and stomped around to back door of the cruiser and grabbed the tiny titan by the arm, dragging Alessandra to her feet.

Alessandra had her hands cuffed in front of her and was sneering as best she could, but in the same way a sneer and snarl from a puppy was absolutely adorable, so was the sight of the short demigoddess trying to look like a hardened criminal. The plan was simple. Show up, bust out of the handcuffs strong-style, then stomp up to the dorms for check in. It would be totally badass. But as Alessandra stood in the parking lot, looking at the curious sorts who were still observing the scene, a problem arose.

"Mom...I can't get these things off." Alessandra spoke softly and out of the corner of her mouth. Her arms were very visibly struggling to pull the handcuffs off, the steel clanking and shaking along with her. "I can't...how strong are these?"

By this point, after seeing the short girl struggling and fussing, the moment was lost and for the third year in a row her grand entrance design was foiled. In a rather dull turn, Margaret sighed and undid the cuffs herself before wishing her daughter the best of luck for the year. It was already not off to a great start.

"Another year as a laughing stock," Alessandra sighed as she made her way into the dorm, her head pointed downwards the whole time.

Inside the dorm, Alessandra checked in with a raised eyebrow. "Who's Birdie Applesale?" she asked to no answer. With head still looking at the ground, Alessandra decided to simply take the stairs rather than wait for the elevator. She could use the mild exercise. Room 4-B appeared to be empty but Alessandra didn't gravitate towards one of the beds, instead planting herself on the floor of the room, sitting cross legged, gazing out into the hall for signs of her future room mate. "Birdie Applesale? Birdie Applesale..." Alessandra repeated, her eyes straining as she tried to put a face to the name. "Oh! Is she the one with the....with the eyes? BIRD-ie ApPlEsAlEEEEE"

This would consume her time for the moment.

Brianna ‘Hal' Caverly

Utah → The Parking Lot → Dorm Room
Interacting With; Hermes → No one

September 1st

”Brianna, wake up.” Her father said, gently prodding Brianna's forehead. She hissed, not yet opening her eyes. The noise made Hermes chuckle, and poke Brianna's head harder. ”Come on, today's the last day of summer, I know you don't want to spend it all in bed.”

Brianna's eyes peeled open, her hair stuck to her face because of a drying line of drool. She was definitely a beautiful sight in the morning. Hermes sat before her in a tuxedo that must've been suffocating him. His caramel hair was properly slicked back, showcasing his clean shaven rugged face, and piercing blue eyes. A few years ago, Brianna started to see the resemblance between them, but Hermes still swore she got her looks from her mom.

Clipped to his tie was his staff, the snakes twirling together endlessly, hissing complaints about their current form in high pitched tones. It was a strange look with his winged sandals, but she knew he would get endless flirty compliments.

After rubbing her face numerous times, Brianna found herself answering. ”I don't want to go to school.” She whined, her lip jutting out in an exaggerated pout. She sat up in her twin bed, the sheets speckled with cigarette burns. The room still smelled of lemon air fresheners, but her father's cologne overtook her senses in a familiar way.

Hermes’ eyes flashed with mirth, and he pointed towards a dress, folded on the oak t.v. stand of their motel room. ”Of course you do, now go get dressed.”

With his assistance, Brianna pulled herself out of bed, taking the dress and her underclothes before heading towards the bathroom. It was cramped, the toilet, shower, and sink all straining to fit in the small area. Brianna showered fast, leaving her wavy hair to style itself, applying her lipstick and pulling on her clothes. She appreciated the breathable fabric of the dress, and the colors suited her just fine.

When she walked out of the bathroom, she found her father waiting there to applaud her. His chest was puffed out, proud of his daughter for surviving another long summer traveling the world and delivering male to Gods and Goddesses. Today was their special day out, where she would be unnecessarily spoiled. This dress was her first gift, she had received one like it ever since she was thirteen. Brianna, not one to disappoint, did a small spin that ended in her doubling over laughing.

”You look great! I sure know how to pick a dress. Maybe I should be the God of fashion.” His lips curled up into his signature smile, and although Brianna rolled her eyes, she found herself smiling too.

”Maybe you should, Dad.” She suggested, slipping on Fterá Angélou, they flapped without her telling them to, causing her to hover a few inches above the ground. She reached down, stroking their feathers affectionately.

Hermes hovered to meet her, and together they packed their suitcases into his Shelby, checked out of the motel, and started their day. It was exciting, of course. They went for breakfast at a local cafe, then they went to the movies. Later in the day, they went for dinner at a fancy restaurant, where two women kept flashing him silky smiles across the room. Of course, there were other stops, but the best part of the night was their dance.

They had traveled to a local park in the middle of the night, and using their sandals, flown up just above the trees. Leaves brushed against their exposed ankles as they twirled around to a silent tune. He spun her, and dipped her, and they both shared laughs. Tomorrow he wouldn't be her father, he would be the father and respected deity of many. The thought weighed on Brianna's heart, but she knew it wasn't right to want him to herself.

”What's on your mind, Hal?” Hermes asked, with a concern so real, so fatherly and simple, Brianna almost believed they were normal. Then she looked down, at the trees below them, and realised they were anything but normal.

This lightened her spirit, and when Brianna looked back up she giggled. ”Nothing, I'm just not ready for school. Well, I am ready actually...the beds at the hotels are killing my back.” She let the joke set in, spinning in silence for a moment, her hair sweeping behind her as the breeze caught it. ”I really enjoyed the summer Dad, delivering mail with you is always a blast. And today, today was great.”

Hermes looked at her, smiling brightly at the compliments. ”Of course, Hal.” Was his simple answer, and for the rest of the night they shared jokes, reminisced about their time together, and danced above the ground.

They sat in the plush leather seats of the Shelby, Brianna driving now that the summer was over and she got the car. Soon they had entered the parking lot, and Brianna smiled at all the activity. Her dad stared at the school, a grim smile on his face. They both felt loss, Brianna would miss her father and guide, and Hermes would lose his loyal assistant and daughter.

”You're participating in the Spartan’s Race this year, right” Hermes asked absently, still staring at the school as if he could see all the people on the inside.

Brianna nodded, rather curt for the situation. ”Of course, Dad. I could have checked my phone for the e-mail if you hadn't taken it away.” She explained, pointing at the objects in his hands and giggling.

Hermes blinked a few times, before looking at her smartphone and the other items he had brought along. He tentatively handed her the phone, she wasn't allowed to have the device over the summer, because it was distracting. Brianna set it on the dash for the time being, smiling happily. ”I also brought along these, one is for your half brother, and one is for you...for your birthday.”

He handed her a thick manila envelope, and a smaller envelope that probably contained a handwritten letter and some cash. She knew which half brother he was talking about, Peter. Hermes talked about him from time to time, and Brianna didn't mind the boy's presence. She slipped both letters into her drawstring bag, before embracing her dad and thanking him for the gifts.

With some effort, Hermes managed to escape her embrace and exit the car. He smiled, a silent goodbye. I'm a blinding flash of light, his ring became his staff, the snakes staring at her with eyes that carried human intelligence. She smiled at them and they writhed, waving her off. Hermes’ activewear transformed itself into a formfitting, white linen toga, and a winged helmet appeared on his head. Talaria took flight, and in a split second he was off, to the gates of Olympus.

Brianna was used to the sight, and although it was an impressive show, it left her in a dark mood. She hated watching him go, leaving her with only a letter and some mental conversations until the summer. There were things to be happy about of course, like her birthday present, and her phone, and the car. Those things were shaded heavily for now.

She exited the car, grabbing her phone from the dash and her suitcase from the trunk. As she walked to her dorm for set up, she scanned her texts and played ’Emperor’s New Clothes’, blasting it on high through her low quality earphones. Soon, she was at a full sprint, and she kicked off with Fterá Angélou, flying the rest of the way.

She had checked her e-mail during the flight, and had her room information as well as her team for the Spartan's Race. First years looked at her in wonder as she flew, a sight they would soon get used too. On the fourth floor, she hovered to room E, landing with a small flourish mostly to entertain herself. The room was nice, as it always was, plush beds and a balcony with a great view. Brianna threw her suitcase on one of the beds, taking off her drawstring bag and pulling out her early birthday gift.

There weren't any booming voices in her head, telling her to wait until next month, so she opened it. Dumping the contents out t 6 the tune of ‘Happy Birthday’. She hugged the letter to her chest, and set it down on her desk. Then, she replaced her worn wrist cuffs with her new set, they fit perfectly...and Brianna wondered if they were carved by Hephaestus, her dad did enjoy his work. She made a mental note to send a prayer to both of them later that night.

After writing a note for her new roommate, whoever that would be, she fled the room and escaped down the hall. Taking laps throughout the dormitory, she warmed herself up for the Spartan's Race. She wasn't used to working in teams, but she knew that they could pick up her slack if she failed. She also didn't mind following a leader, if it would help her towards her goals.

Preston James McTavish

Location; Room 4-playK
Interacting With; NPCs Mentioned: @SouffleGirl123

Room 4-K was perhaps the noisiest room on the floor without there being a party in it. A vacuum was howling as one escort was dragging it over an elaborate peacock rug. A second escort had been waiting next to the bathroom with a mop and mop bucket. The bathroom door opened as Preston stepped out with his dark hair dripping and draping his brow in ringlets. With the quick toss of his head, he flicked his hair behind it, splashing the escort behind him with water.

Standing in the middle of his room in his bare-ass glory, he shouted over the howl of the vacuum: “Did you unpack my towels?”

An escort ceased wiping down the windows before he turned to quickly yank from a gaping luggage bag a dark-blue towel that he tossed to the young lord. Snatching the towel out of the air, Preston pressed it to his face and began to ruffle his hair with it. Wrapping it about his hips, he walked over to the sink and checked the drawer to see that his electric toothbrush system was inside it with a brand new tube of toothpaste. He was pleased that they had actually managed to unpack his hygiene supplies at least—even though his face didn’t show it. He set up his toothbrush system, plugged it into the wall, and removed the electric toothbrush from its charging base. Sliding some toothpaste across the bristles, he commenced scrubbing his teeth as the contraption buzzed to life.

“I got thirty minutes to be unpacked, dressed, and sitting in the arena, (which isn’t as much time as I’d like)” Preston informed as though they already couldn’t barely hear him over the roar of the vacuum. Now, he had a toothbrush in his mouth. Preston turned from the mirror to gaze down at the fancy peacock rug, over to the king-sized bed that had taken up half the room, and then to the large flat screen TV that his escorts were currently hanging up on the wall opposite of the bed. How they had managed to get all of those items up all those stairs and into the room? Persuasion, of course.

Drawing his toothbrush from his mouth, white foam and saliva coated his lips and flew from his mouth as he asked, “Did any of you unpack my suits yet?”

The king-sized bed had completely blocked the closet door and they were forced to take off the door so that there wasn’t a barrier in the way. Climbing onto the bed, the escort walked across it into the closet and removed one of the numerous vacuum sealed suit bags. He preserved his suits like he did his organic vegetables. The escort walked it over to him and Preston zipped it down to peek inside. The escort swallowed nervously when he saw Preston’s brows crash together after glancing over it.

“This one will do,” he said, turning to face the sink as he started spitting and rinsing off his toothbrush.

He knocked back a bottle of Listerine like he would liquor, filling his cheeks with the burning liquid, which may have seemed excessive but he always had fresh-smelling breath to compliment his dazzling smile. While he was swirling it around in his mouth, he opened another drawer to look for his comb and hair wax.

Location; Dorm Room 4F
Interacting With; Tess Galloway([@smarty0014])

Oh right her.

Abe had run into this Tess Galloway a few times over the years. Good girl, she was easy on the eyes, too. Abe had nothing against her in all honesty. A decent head of red hair on her shoulders that appealed to some. Abe didn’t mind the redness nor did he mind the fact that she was a few years younger than him. There wasn’t much that Abe knew about this one, but he was looking forward to getting to know her. At the very least, her being here meant that he didn’t have Skye as a roommate, so that was a definite plus.

Abe approached Tess by stepping forward. A wide, Abe-like smile on his face, he tried to greet her with as much friendliness as she had with him.

You must have gotten here early, huh? I would have been here first if not for certain distractions.” Abe’s face went to a slight grit, notably from his teeth showing from his previous smile. “But never mind that.” Abe shoved that aside for now. “Tell me, how good are you at organizing? I am absolutely dreadful with it. Ask my sister, she’ll tell you that it’s not my strong suit. Besides, the touch of a woman always seems to be better when organizing, wouldn’t you say so?” he said. Abe causally spotted her a wink. He didn't even hear Dustyn come in.

In the long trek that originated in the middle of the night before with the Utah sky lit up by the bright twinkling stars, there roamed a lone wolf sorts. With no car to call his own and none that were driving in sight, he had to walk thirty miles from a distant relative of his mother’s, his uncle he believed, in the middle of the night. It was not because he was told to leave the house or anything, but he didn’t want to be a burden to the man that had put a roof over his head for the summer. A ride in the morning was offered as this uncle knew exactly who this twenty-one-year old was, but he did not judge him for it. Everyone had their stories and their demons. It was apart of finding out who you were when you really ended up deciding if those monsters and demons win or if you push them back.

Sadly, for Dante Belmont, those monsters proved to be too great to allow him to spend one more night with someone that could possibly be put in harm's way much like his mother and those eight children were.

Since all those years ago, every night when he would go to bed, Dante would relive that night over and over again in his dreams. Their screams torturing him, never allowing him sound, peaceful sleep for more than an hour at a time. There were moments when it was too much, and Dante woke up with such a terrifying scream that, when he was staying at that Psychiatric Facility, he had to be sedated multiple times. There were points where even his medicine didn’t quell the visions of his dead mother and closest friends. Nothing like that ever would go away.

But ‘tis the life that Dante has to live.

At least he got to walk the night with the stars and moon shining. As melancholy his life might be, Dante Belmont quite enjoyed that. The night was always fair to him. Be full of terrors as it may be, the Son of Hades felt most at home when the sun was down, and the moon wasn’t. Blame it on his Godly Parentage or just how he often viewed the world, but Dante would be the first one to tell you - well, after he got to know you first - that the best time for him to gather his thoughts was when the crickets were chirping, and the moon was out. Truly, if anyone was a night owl, Dante Aides Belmont was.

And the one thing he hated above all was the sun, so it should be assumed that he was especially gloomy when he waltzed on the campus a bit earlier than he thought he would. Holding his phone in his hand, he was going to swipe his screensaver of his mother, he stopped for a moment. He stared at her face. He smiled bitterly, drops of water starting to fall. To somehow gain control of his emotions, he swiped it away quickly, and noticed the clock was just five minutes until when the “move in-time” was specified, which meant he had gotten earlier than expected.

Dante would waste no time. His feet took to a brisk, fast walk, and he would make sure that, while he was holding three bags of dark red shade. One of them was over one shoulder, another over the opposite shoulder, and the last was one of those kind of bags that got dragged by an extended handles and had wheels attached to the bottom of them.

When Dante got to the apartment building, he stopped to check the email blast that ha dwent out not too long ago. He wanted to check it to make sure he got the right room and floor. As he scrolled through his messages, he saw that he was put on the fourth floor and was in room J. After a confirming nod, he pocketed his phone, and made his way to that floor so he could go to his room. He went to the elevator, and would proceed push the button to summon it. It took a while, but eventually he came after a few minutes. Just as he was going to enter, more people were coming his way. Dante hated crowds, but he didn’t want to wait for them to push him out, so he made sure to get a nice, cozy spot in the corner. He waited for everyone to get in, confirm what floor they were going to, and let the boaster speak as he would speak.

Almost everyone in the elevator was going to the fourth floor, which made Dante anxious. Mainly, he was worried everyone would notice him. That’s the last thing he wanted to happen, but it was the first thing that went to his mind. It terrified him, so he found comfort in the fact that everyone was leaving when they had arrived at the floor. Dante was the last one to exit, he made sure of that. When he did, he got his bags and proceeded to his room. It wasn’t a far walk, but the floor was surprisingly spacious. It amazed him how Olympus Academy was so spacious and every living accommodations seemed to be very reminiscent of a luxurious hotel.

Dante didn’t dwell on that thought any longer. He got to his room. He wasn’t sure if his roommate was in or not, but he saw no bags to suggest otherwise. He liked the look of it. Spacious enough for two people to live peacefully(or so he liked to assume). After the long walk and anxious elevator ride, Dante set his bags to the side for the moment, and parked it gently on the couch to his left. His legs had been aching for five minutes, and he just wanted to rest for a few.

As he let out a long sigh, Dante heard...something. His head propped up suddenly. He looked around briefly, but nothing came. He shrugged it off, and let the soft, leather cushion take away any ailments he had running through his body at the moment.

Webster had set up his room rather nicely. He'd made his bed and thrown a light blue comforter over it, and put his pillows in clean white pillowcases. Posters for various indie bands and movies adorned his walls, and all his clothes were put away nicely in his dresser, apart from his shirts, which hung from a multitude of hangers in his closet. Just as he was taking a step back to survey his work, he heard the front door unlock, and he popped out into the living room to see...Reisender.

The warlock greeted him with a less than friendly reaction. Webster's eyebrows rose at this, smirking a tad. "Nice to see you too Harry Potter," he retorted, his smirk still present, even as his eyes analyzed the young man in front of him, scanning everything from his clothes to the trinkets on his backpack. Rolling his eyes at the assortment of bobbles that his roommate had on his backpack he began speaking again. "I took the room closest to the window, so you can have the other one," said, before walking back into his room.

Webster and Alexander had never been friends, as long as they'd known each other. The warlock was always more drawn to Tess than the son of Athena. Webster was practical, logical, and thought everything needed a rational explanation, despite the fact that his mother was an immortal goddess. This personality didn't exactly mesh with the magic wielding warlock known as Alexander Reisender, and it never had. Shaking his head at his bad luck, he pulled his phone out again and shot off a text to Devlin, hoping to escape his room.

Oh gods I will not survive this year if he keeps smiling like that Tess thought, a rush of pink flooding her cheeks as Abe stepped forward and shot her that smile. Her blush only intensified as Dusty barged in, shouting. Oh I'm gonna kill her. A smile still plastered on her face, she threw an arm around Dusty. "And this foul mouthed excuse for a demigod, is Dustyn Flint, daughter of Dionysus. Dusty, this is Abe, my roommate," she said, shooting Dusty a look that said murder was on her mind.

As Abe asked about her organizational skills, plenty of thoughts ran through her head, none of which were appropriate to say out loud to a boy she had just met. "I'm a great organizer, and decorator. I mean, you should've seen my dorm last year, it looked awesome. I mean, us chicks are just great at everything," she said, grinning. In truth, she had awful organizational skills, but hell if Abe needed help than she could learn.

Normally, the redhead would never be so nervous or awkward. In fact, her confidence was something she prided herself on. But some people, Abe being one of them, had a way of just getting under her skin, making her a bumbling mess. Well, really only exceptionally attractive men, but she'd never say it out loud.

“BLOODY HELL!”

She swerved right as she looked out of the car window, suppressing the urge to flip the guy off. Idiot. Bastard needs to learn how to turn their blinker on. She sighed and looked down for a moment, grabbing a lip tint and applying it just as she stopped at a red light. She then put it in a black purse that she had in the passenger seat. Another couple of years at this school. It wasn’t too bad. She had a couple good friends either way.

Birdie approached a perfect parking spot in the shade. She had on her designer shades that were circular and, of course, black and white. Birdie got out of the car and went to the back seat, taking out her 2 suitcases. One black and the other black. She then locked the car, pushing her hair behind her shoulder and beginning to walk towards the school. I wonder if i’m going to have to see that slut. Nah, my “mom” shouldn’t be around anytime soon.

As she got near the school, Birdie pushed up her shades to rest on the top of her head. She then pulled out her cell and quickly went to contacts, going under her list of friends to Webster.

To- Webby
Hey, where are you? Missing you, you lovesick idiot so tell me where you are so we can meet.

Clicking send before she then put her phone back in her pocket with a smile. She finally got to see one of her best friends again. Going back home was always hell. I mean, her brother barely talks to her and it’s just so awkward with her parents. Either way, that stuff didn’t matter. Was she allowed to smoke on school property? Wait. Do I care? To care or to not care. She sighed and decided to use it to her advantage, putting away the pack of cigarette. She needed to quit anyways. Not that it would last long anyways.

Finally, she made her way to her dorm. If anything, the dorms here were sweet. They sure knew how to make them feel like real demigods. She quickly began to dig through her suitcase, taking out her clothes and taking them out properly folded. Maybe later she'd go over to a friends dorm. She better not have a bunch of drama in her life today though. She was tired and she really wanted some beer.

'Good thing I have about 5 bottles in my bag. But, later...' She had some self restraint.

Birdie then looked over to the left and saw that someone else was in the room. This chick's name was Alessandra, wasn't it? She hadn't noticed at all until now. How long was she even there? She smiled lightly at her, stopping herself from packing.

"Hey. Alessandra? Birdie. Nice to meet you." she says to the girl. She was getting hungry.

Location; Dorm Room 4F
Interacting With; Tess Galloway(@smarty0114); Dustyn (@MissCapnCrunch)

As Abe let his head turn around, his body following suit halfway, he fell upon Dustyn. A pretty girl she was. She seemed shorter than Tess here. But damn Abe if he didn’t comment about their overwhelming beauty. Two lovely ladies in the dorm. How did a guy count himself so lucky?

Ya know, forgive me for saying this, but the two of you are absolutely stunning.” Abe nonchalantly complemented both Tess and Dustyn.

It might’ve seemed odd coming from a guy that they barely met, let alone one that seemed to say that out of the blue, but Abe never did know what was proper timing. He did pride himself in at least showing good manners. Always the one to extend that friendship olive branch. He didn’t shy away from complimenting those that deserved it. Besides, they were all friends here, right? No use hiding things like that, right? Abe sure as hell didn’t think so.

Abe took a moment to look at Dustyn and TEss. A thought came across him. Two lovely ladies were here, and wouldn’t it be the best time to get to know two of his fellow demigods? And there was a couch right there. Much more comfortable than just standing around. “Come!” Abe said. Being like he was, Abe Rothschild, with a swift motion, grabbed one arm of both Dustyn and Tess, and pulled them to the couch. There was just enough pull to give them a moment to think about it, but not long as Abe’s strength was impressive.

As they would take a seat, with Tess on his left and Dustyn on his right, Abe smiled at both of them, shooting winks at both of them when he looked at the two girls respectively. “So, tell me about yourselves!” Abe requested. “We got time to kill, so why not get friendly with each other before the big assembly?” Abe had a point.

Not even long after he said that, his phone started to buzz. “One moment.” He said. He opened his phone and saw it was from his sister. She seemed to not like her new roommate.

Awe, you poor baby. Want to come to my room then? It’s bound to be a lot more fun than whoever you got? Btw, who did you get? Oh, you can just tell me when you get here. Cya then. <3

Abe put his phone in his pocket. Sorry about that. My sister is having roommate troubles. I invited her over. I don’t know if she’ll accept, but who knows? Abe shrugged,“anyways, we were getting friendly!~” Abe shot them another wink and smile. He can’t control himself, can he?

Everything sat in a middle ground; nothing moved during the summer and things refused to change. After the first year, the respite was welcomed, yet the subsequent years dulled the thud of contentment. Complacency. Ranefer hated that word. It sent chills and raised his skin for reasons unknown. Maybe he didn't like moving too much, or at all, really, content to sit about. Refusing to change, though? To not do anything but sit around and fiddle his thumbs? That set him on a low simmer, volatile in his apartment not too far from the academy. His father had set it up after whisking him away from Dubai. A bank account had been establish, though he refused to use the money provided (Ranefer had his own means and by that, he stole from his mother's company on a daily basis. Out of spite and with a boat load of malicious intent, enough to cover his tracks well).

As the days passed by, a dull itch covered his arms and back. His scalp felt dry and tingly, not realizing the response had come out of a dire urgency to get into a class. To be doing something other than laying in bed angry at the world. When the day came, Ranefer threw his prepacked bags (often times he never even unpacked) into his beat up Civic and broke various speeding laws just to get into his desired parking spot.

Moving forward, moving on, however, didn't mean socializing with anyone he didn't care for - that seemed unnecessarily pompous. He refused to socialize with anyone that triggered a panic attack or turned him into a volatile mess. That usually meant most new people. Ronny found contentment in his little band of friends and while open to change in that direction, he didn't rightfully seek it out.

Grabbing his suitcases from the trunk and slinging his backpack over his shoulders, Ranefer made a brisk line toward the elevator in hopes of missing practically everyone. Once inside and alone, he went over the contents of his pack, making sure he had the printed e-mail with his schedule, dorm assignment, and team (which, of course, he dreaded; not a surprise). All the utensils and supplies he could ever need in a backpack stuffed to the brim and a pack lunch sack just in case he didn't like what any of the vendors or joints had on the menu. They never really changed, but like everyone else, he had his cravings.

Avoiding eye contact was a specialty of Ronny's and once he made it into the hallway, he ducked his head and shuffled along, watching the floor ahead of him for any feet he needed to side step. After almost colliding with a few individuals, Ronny released a breath and shoved his mailed key into the lock and fell into his assigned dorm for the year. The air inside felt crisp, kind of like opening a can. In this case that can's contents were air, but it felt fresher than his own (summer) apartment. By a mile, at least.

Not a single speck of dust out of place, tidy and neat from likely a rigorous summer cleaning by the janitorial staff. Everything seemed precise and put in place. If Ronny had anything to say about that, it'd probably stay exactly as he found it, with a few additions here and there. Likely a shit ton of upgrades to the various systems the house contained. Looking around a number of ideas assaulted his mind, taking in the surroundings like a sponge and letting his own system digest everything.

His legs whirred in their place on the floor, reminding him of his own upgrade. Sometimes it was extremely easy to forget they were there until the idea pops with a small thought and suddenly the mind's free to hear and see the abnormalities of his prosthetic. The quiet hum of gears constantly shifting and realigning, pressure redistributed along what used to be muscle and sinew, now carbon fiber and metal. It would take a moment for his own trance to melt. His gaze glassy as he blinked the focus away and urged himself to move, despite the loud clank of metal hitting his eardrums. Only loud because he's listening for it and that irritated him enough that his resting face turned into a scowl. Luckily, Ranefer was the first to arrive.

After settling his pack and suitcases onto his bed, Ranefer forced himself to sit and breathe. Counting always helped when the anger started as an irritant, one on the dial to a stove. Heated, but not exactly approaching boiling point. A few more breaths before the calm washed over him and he allowed himself to dig through his backpack for his phone.

I feel like you smuggled in pot brownies. Would you be willing to share? Cool upgrades for your phone up for trade. There's this shade function I can install so no one can spy on you while you're watching porn in class.

With the text sent, Ranefer let himself fall into the soft cotton of his bed sheets, bringing the phone back up to his face to fire off another text. Laurel and he never really saw eye-to-eye with much, but they got along well enough to enjoy each other's company - in private, at least. To be honest, Ronny didn't exactly know what to call Laurel. They argued, bickered, yelled at each other around other people. Often times, Ronny had to wade off to cool down, knowing full well Price enjoyed seeing the red heat rise on his tanned skin. Knowing him, he enjoyed seeing that happen to a lot of people for various different reasons. Regardless, at least he found himself comfortable enough to confide in his company from time to time.

Even if Hunter took the spot of best friend and confidant. He much preferred the like mind of Honey over pretty much anyone else, especially since neither expected the other to talk. Their socializing could be coined as 'dull and uninteresting silence' by the majority, however, Ranefer enjoyed that companionable silence over the awkward fumbling for words when it came to interacting with anyone else. Even with Lauren, Ronny felt the eggshells crumbling under his fit as he tip toed around his own words.

Wanna test out the flat screen in my dorm's living room? I can hack into a Netflix account and we can binge Friends... while potentially getting high on pot brownies before the big Spartan Race. That sounds like a good idea right?

Honestly, looking at it from a logical perspective, getting high during the first official day at the Academy wasn't the best idea. However, Ronny allowed himself to slip up from time to time. It wasn't fun always letting reason win out over enjoyment.
