@Jangel13 Beyond the Shirlia-Duvelna thing, is Duvelna a jealous goddess who bans the worship of any lesser gods or Ramos or such things? Same for Ramos and Shirlia.

For example, could a creature venerate Duvelna and Ramos? Or Duvelna and Gatoven? Shirlia and Ramos? Stuff like that.

This is just out of curiosity, not necessarily because i want to do it right now, but just as a lore-related thing in general.
Nyma

Day 5: Morning

Nyma somewhat imitated Barth's strategy by making some web to put on her feet, though kept her spear ready and close to her as the foursome traveled deeper into the webbed-up woods. Tiny spiders, whose coloration left the female Goblin wary of them and their poison, seemed to skitter about as the group avoided their movements. Though what was more interesting was when they finally came down the path to the big target. The female spider, she assumed, who was the mother to all of these smaller one around them. Or perhaps, one of the mothers of them anyways. Though the large hobgoblin seemed to be willing to be the bait for this encounter this time around, and asked them to not let him die if possible, Nyma felt that using one of their larger brethren as bait could go either very well or to their detriment. Especially if these baby spiders acted instead of the mother potentially.

But a plan was a plan, and whilst she got a feeling the female hobgoblin wasn't all pleased with the arrangement of Gird's group strategy, Nyma felt that it wasn't the worst plan. Plus the bit of conversation Lux made with her along the way confirmed that Lux and herself could see this stuff and detect ahead of time as such. Very useful. However, there were more important things to do right now too now that they were here. So the female Goblin moved around the side, giving Gird some space but avoiding getting caught up in webs, all to get in a position where she could move in an attack from the side once Gird hopefully drew the adult female spider's attention. She held her spear at the ready, getting into her defensive/offensive pouncing position once more as she imitated the movements of the male spider from before again.

"I'm ready," she whispered back to Gird and the others quietly, carefully seeking to avoid disturbing the spiders and springing things early.

Though with Barth's behavior from before, she wouldn't be surprised if the lucky little Goblin managed to trip onto the web Gird was near and turn himself into spider bait. That or attempt to piledrive the thing from a tree....again.

@Raineh Daze Replacement Rider idea is as follows:

@Kheliop@Jangel13 .....

XD

Ah, but i do guess i need a more proper idea about things. I'd bet Barth's uncanny luck that Shirlia would really obliterate us for that. Plus i wouldn't be able to get spider stuff unless there were corpses left over for the spiders and the whole forest didn't burn down in the process. DX
I'll try to get up a post in the next few days. Have had some issues to deal with irl, which have a bit of a mental struggle.

But i look forward to all of us dying to baby spider swarms.

Though we could always set that part of the forest on fire, get mass XP since none of us are SHirlia worshippers. XD

...hmmm......

or that could get us all killed. XD

@Jangel13 I vote for C. (On phone, tired, sleep struggle atm)

Italian Restaurant; Yuyuko Devastation Zone 2.0

She had concurred with the red-haired man that wanton destruction could itself be a reason, though still mentally held that there could also be a reason. Indeed, questioning at random with no reason would not help whatsoever, but at the same time just tossing away all thoughts of what could be a reason after careful investigation was not helpful either. Regardless, she had kept her tongue and merely nodded to the other side before the screen cut off.

Though now was a slightly different story to her composed and serious self in the video conference.

The small Empress attempted to adjust to sitting with the others in this....more humble of accommodations than sitting around the prying eyes of many had earlier at the other establishment. A light fidgeting of her legs under the table and a minor uncomfortable feeling showing a little bit in her eyes were signs of that. So used to meals on her lonesome, provided by the staff who tended to her whims and desires back in the capital of her dear Begnion. This this more than before, since the main topic had been put aside seemingly for the night, was leaving the small Empress in a more uncomfortable position visibly and internally. It somewhat hammered home a bit of what she dubbed "homesickness" as it were, though she did her best to put on her usual airs and was mostly successful in this endeavor save for the minor clues being unintentionally shown on her part.

"I will have whatever is considered the finest dish on this menu," she said, her voice confident but hoping that said 'finest dish' would at least keep her full and content for the night, helping to chase away whatever thoughts of home might be lingering. Though however it all might go down, her eyes drifted over to her own glass of mere water as she took a moment of thought, but snapped out of it as she saw the slight vibrating in the water and raised an eyebrow at it.

Was there something going on just outside or something?

Li Shuwen

Ikebukuro, Tokyo

After leaping into the ruined area, Li had gone about searching for the source of the destruction, the root of this that could potentially provide a suitable fight or answer to tide him over for the moment after having arrived in such odd conditions. Regardless, the thrill of battle would be its own reward in his mind, should he be able to locate something, though in the end he had heard noises of something large running atop buildings from afar. Safe to say it piqued his interest, more so than the basic programs to be fought back home, though was reminiscent of the larger and far more deadly foes he'd been able it fight there. Ah, potential prey! It was something, at least.

The martial artist had swiftly made his way in the direction of the noises, at speeds only servants were perhaps capable of, before finally spotting from a rooftop a sight that made him laugh aloud at how ridiculous it seemed for a moment. Someone riding on a bike with a yellow helmet, a girl in some kind of armor with no weapons in her hands, a cloaked figure seeming as if she was flying, and a large wolf with what seemed to be a sword in its mouth at the head of things with the others seeming to pursue. A hunt, perhaps? Has this wolf done the damage around here, or was it looking for something else? Though following a ways behind seemed to be two other girls, according to his trained eyes.

Perhaps asking first would yield interesting facts first, its what that girl would have wanted perhaps, though his fists yearned for some actual challenge.

Leaping over, the man garbed in what could only be called an outfit fit for a rich yakuza or a "pimp" landed suddenly in front of Misaki and Miku, looking over to them with arms crossed calmly.

"What is going on here? Are the people over there hunting that wolf?" the martial artist said, not exactly the most tactful in his arrival and sudden questioning, though he was at least getting to the point of things in his mind where it mattered most.

Phantom

In Front of Destroyed Dinky Bar

Her patrol had finally amounted to something interesting happening, it seemed, when some screaming and an explosion came from nearby as she was going about from rooftop to rooftop. The set of powers she had currently would most definitely suffice for this, though the question of "if" they would ever remain the same if she "died" again always haunted the very back of her mind. Pushing aside the less than savory thoughts about the matter, Phantom made her way over to the scene and found herself staring in the face of another supposed "hero" who had made his way to the scene as well. Apparently, in a rather.....odd manner of speaking, as compared to the parahumans she knew of at least.

At least breakfast back at the hotel had been nice, scrambled eggs with biscuits and a sausage gravy done in a rather fancy manner.

On the other hand, this (to her mind) new guy was asking perhaps the most obvious question she had heard today.

"Well, the entire front of this bar has been destroyed," she said, trying to be cordial enough as her words came out rather bluntly to the fact of things, "Let's go inside and see if the civilians are ok, before asking to see what happened. Though if you have any way of checking the perimeter to see if the perpetrator is still near, that could help as well."

Nailed it.

And with that, Phantom sprinted to make her way inside of the destroyed bar, to see if she could help anyone first...before trying to ask for what information might be available. To be honest, she was more concerned with the people right now first of all. Not everyone, she supposed, got a second chance at life when it came down to it.
@Raineh Daze

Class: Rider

True Name: Temujin Borjigin, aka “Genghis Khan”, aka “King of Kings”

Appearance:

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Personality: A man who, due to his own childhood in the harsh steppes, sought to better the world through conquest, through might, through fear, and through reminding humanity of where it had come from in its brutal origins. Normally level-headed, he is the sort who can be utterly calm about dangerous and tough situations, especially in battle. He can be gracious and kind to allies, though retains a toughness even in this, and even goes on something like a “three strike system” for some who he sees as neutral, potential allies, or as being necessary to his goals. Open to an extent, he welcomes learning about new things, new foods, new places, new ideas, and seeks to put these things to good use as he did with the doctors, artists, and others he incorporated all over his empire in life.

Further, as compared to his in-life self the drive for achieving immortality no longer holds sway over his mind. Rather, he sees it as folly now, as he could remark about his old self.

However, there is the obvious darker side to the man famed as Genghis Khan that incited emotions even now. He can be cruel, cold, relentless, and savage to his enemies and those he deems as such without any hesitation in an almost seemingly inhuman manner. Those who surrendered to him were treated well, yet those who defied him, stood up against him, were butchered to the last man and their cities defiled. To those who seem to pursue “useless” goals, such as wealth and an overly comfortable life, he looks down upon due to seeing such things as useless and foolish in this world. He is one who admires another’s strength, might, and will to survive, who grew up in a harsh place that made him a harsh man. One’s drive, loyalty, and will are things he also values, and the opposites and earn his very dangerous ire. Indeed, his anger is highly dangerous to incite, based on the results in his life.

Stats:

Strength: D

Endurance: C

Agility: A+

Mana: B

Luck: C+

Noble Phantasm: A

Class Skills:

Riding: A+

-All vehicles and all creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts. This rank is high enough to have aptitude for the Rider Class.

Magic Resistance: B

-Cancel spells with a chant below three verses. Even if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals, it is difficult for them to be affected.

In part this skill is at this rank due to his status of possessing divine power within himself as its vessel. He also dealt with a large deal of magecraft users of his time, when he formerly had a desire to become immortal by some means or another.

Personal Skills:

Blessings of Tengri: A

-Is a skill that embodies a natural status of being born as the vessel of a deity’s power, a condition that cannot be acquired by any means as a result of being bestowed rather than gained. Temujin in life was the vessel of the might of the god Tengri, sent by the gods to be born into the world to the Mongolian people. As a result he possesses power from Tengri that he is able to wield as the natural consequence of this. For Temujin, this skill grants him the effects of “Animal Communication”, “Prana Burst” as well as “Divinity”, and the ability to summon powerful bolts of lightning from the sky, all at the same rank as this skill itself.

Military Tactics: B

-Is tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm or when dealing against an enemy Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.

Wrath of Khan: A

-A skill that is fundamentally the opposite of “Charisma”. It is a skill consisting of how well a person can instill obedience to them in others through fear, and impose terror upon others to lower/shatter enemy morale. Reduces the ability of enemies in combat. In short, it both negates the effects of Charisma and imposes the very opposite effects entirely, instilling fear and demoralizing those affected.
Amongst the figures that have struck fear into the world over the ages, Genghis Khan in both the East and West is more than infamous for his brutality, aggressiveness, and relentless reputation as a fear-mongering terror amongst all who opposed him in any manner. To oppose him is to know true fear.

Noble Phantasm(s):

Name: Golden Whip, “Subjugation of the World”

Rank: D

Type: Anti-Unit

Appearance: A golden whip, kept curled up at his side on his belt.

Description:

"To master a horse one must learn to use the whip,

Though to not master his own whip is a travesty waiting to occur,

Therefore let my whip sink into the cities and towns, their nations and places,

That humans may too learn discipline!"

This Noble Phantasm is a weapon that was granted from the heavens, and found by Genghis Khan himself. Finding a whip is a good omen in Mongolia, and for Genghis it was also a divine sign of his “Mandate of Heaven” to ruler the word beneath the heavens. Whilst the whip is in his possession, he gains a strong boost to his Luck parameter apssively, and likewise the active ability is that any target (excluding himself) who comes into contact with the whip is dealt mental interference that seeks to strike fear and terror into them.

Name: Urgench, “Bloody Tide of Death That Stained The Earth”

Rank: A

Type: Anti-City

Appearance: A sword-

-whose blade is crimson red, its hilt also red with the golden parts standing out blatantly. It is sheathed by his side.

Description:

“Let the ground run red with the lifeblood of the enemy!

Run dry their corpses that reach out for mercy nonexistent!

Let this stain on the world tower into the infinite sky and claw at those who cling to life!

And let the cries of the dead ring throughout the halls of eternity as a warning!

Urgench!!!”

(this is just flavor text for this NP, not needed to be said to activate)

This Noble Phantasm is enacted via a sword that is the crystallization of the largest single slaughter in human history, that being of the massacre at Urgench, that has become attached to Genghis Khan’s legend almost like a curse. After a peaceful trade mission was raided, then killed later, and then when 2 out of 3 diplomats were killed by the Shah’s orders when they were sent to him. This began both the invasion of the Khwarezmid Empire and sealed Urgench’s fate when the city dared resist the Mongols. Each of the 50,000 Mongol soldiers present were tasked with killing 24 people individually leading to over 1 million being slain, their skulls stacked in pyramids scraping at the sky itself.

To be activated, Genghis merely wields the blade and calls out the NP's name (just "Urgench"), and an extremely large mass of wraiths, the 1.2 million people who died by his command at Urgench, arise around him. Their appearance is composed of a gory substrate mostly composed of what looks like blood, with some things like hair and guts and such mixed in, with skeletons of the dead groaning and writing within and popping out from it as if reaching out to grab and tear at whatever is around them. In short, it is a gross and horrifying sight beyond compare (to some).

From here, Genghis can direct and control the mass formed from over 1 million wraiths, which are dangerous to servants due to their sheer number. Whatever things the mass gets a hold of, run over, or pulls into itself is broken down, deteriorated, and destroyed rapidly within (much like Urgench itself and many other cities during genghis Khan's campaigns). It also wields a sheer amount of mass and is able to quickly move over the ground and even reach up into the air or climb other things.

Though even if the mass is destroyed by enemies, it can be re-summoned against using this NP.

Name: Khüchirkheg Tuurai (aka: “powerful hooves” in Mongolian according to google translate), “Legacy of the Sky God's People”

Rank: A

Type: Anti-Army

Appearance/Description:

”Let them fear those who walked upon the fringes of the world,

let them bow in respect those who fought for every inch of life.

Make them understand the cruelties of this world,

strike fear into their hearts that have gone too soft,

and bring upon them the wrath of the Khan!!!”

This Noble Phantasm is both Genghis' own steed and the legacy of the Mongols, the horse-riding people of the steppes who made the world tremble in fear. They who lived in an area of the world where nature’s law and wrath were made manifest in brutal detail, where their gods still spoke to them in various manners. Where survival came first, and the comforts of “true” civilization were unknown. A place akin to the Age of Gods in a sense.

This Noble Phantasm is his own horse that he is able to summon to his side, granted to him by Tengri to whom horses are holy, and upon which Genghis can ride about at immense speeds. It is also a beast connected to him personally, as the horse has symbolism with the soul in Tengrism, and this merely allows him to communicate with his steed from even mass distances apart. This horse itself is also an embodiment of the might of the Mongol Empire, a nation that shook the world from atop a horse, from its beginning through its end.

It is only the right and authority of the great founder, whose people fought by his side, whose god bestowed upon him great might and a noble steel, and again this horse would gladly again lend him her strength even after all this time. Due to the power infused into this beast and its nature of being a gift form a god, it is in fact a kind of Phantasmal Beast.

However, the real power is when the name of the Noble Phantasm is uttered. After activation, each step of the horse's hooves come down with the power of an entire army behind it, and on top of this also sends tremors through the ground that shake the very earth around the horse itself seemingly in fear. It is a charge attack that could level buildings and such in its path as a result of the tremors being like a localized, moving, mini-earthquake of sorts.

Changes: None, actually, save for adding a sort of clarification on why the legend of the black Tug banner that “supposedly” housed his soul got this legend by virtue of its “actual” effects.

Notes:

-He possesses both a sword (one of his NP’s) and a bow, the former being due to possession of an NP and the other due to his status as a Mongol and being synonymous with bows as such. Also comes with a summon-able steed that is one of his NP's.

-Genghis is a vessel for the power of Koke Mongke Tengri, the formless and infinitely expansive sky god who is top deity of traditional Mongolian religion/Tengrism. Said god has also been identified under the name of Bai-Ülgen or Ülgen, in a similar situation to the Apollo/Helios situation respectively.

Upon receiving his title of “Genghis Khan”, a name meaning “Universal Ruler” that bore deep spiritual/mystical power itself tied to the gods, he was further revealed by a shaman as being a representative of Tengri as well. He had been, literally speaking, sent by the gods to the Mongolian people bearing the divine power of the high heavens from birth.

Due to Tengri’s association with animal messengers, and whose angry voice was thunder itself, and his use/creation of lightning as a punishment/sign of his displeasure/display of power, he has gained power as a result of this status in a composite skill that embodies it.
