Beacon Academy-Survival Class-Beryl Harken

Everyone had to be off the boat by now. If not they had better know how to swim because Beryl was done holding what felt like the entire ocean out of the ship's hold. It would drain her aura to unacceptable levels if she kept going. So with a sigh she released both her semblance and her stance, allowing her arms to fall to her sides as she took several deep breaths.

Grabbing an emergency medical kit off a nearby wall the young Faunus clipped the plastic box to a belt loop and dashed for the nearest rent in the hull. The jet of water reversed course just as she reached it, sucking her out of the ship and into the ocean beyond. As she swept out and started circling the ship her extra senses reached out to encompasses the immediate area of conflict.

The water held significantly less Grimm than she had expected considering how many had been ripping into the ship earlier. Her teammates had been busy while she wasn't looking. Of course less Grimm wasn't the same as no Grimm. A smattering of black and white shapes also circled the ship. Their forms monstrous versions of various aquatic animals. Perhaps ten all told.

With a savage grin Beryl sped toward the closest beast.

For those watching the surface of the ocean, it almost looked like a string of squids had been startled. Sections of the deep turned extra dark for several moments. No further Grimm leapt to attack the group. It was quiet for a few seconds before a black haired head broke the surface near the lifeboats.

"Come on! This place could spawn more Grimm any moment now!"

Stranded at Sea

@Crimmy@Silvan Haven@Lucius Cypher@Azereiah@Guess Who@Ryonara@Abillioncats@Ayazi@Plank Sinatra

The students divided and conquered the task at hand. Stella felt a smirk skip across her lips in amusement.

They were quick to act and use their individual talents. The otter Faunus was the first to act – keeping the water leaking into the ship at bay. It wasn’t long before muscle memory and training had kicked in for the rest of them either. Those who could use their abilities to fight the avian and amphibian Grimm did so, protecting the rest of their teammates from an onslaught. Yue was one of the first to obtain supplies, gathering fifty feet of rope, a ten foot tarp, and some deck brooms.

Although, Stella wasn’t too sure what she was going to do with those.

Gren managed to locate a few lifejackets – though they were a bit too small for him to wear, and many towels. Absorbent so they may be, they were certainly not enough to reverse the damage that had been done to their vessel.

Oswald stood out as someone who was at an immediate disadvantage with his cane, and someone that Stella would have to watch for growth – and for the second stage of this survival exercise. But it was once the cohesion began that the class started to stand a chance at passing the exam. Ashe and Yue were the first collaborators and they managed to locate lifeboats and a means with which to ensure their safety through the use of unrefined water and air dust crystals.

Sangue was a force of focusing Gren’s raw talent. Together they managed to cleave a path through plenty of Grimm to open up a secure route for the students to get to safety. They class was already working well together, it was a great sign.

Meanwhile Bianca helped keep aerial attacks away from the group as they all boarded the life rafts…

Well, almost everyone.

Oddly enough Vega and Gratia seemed to be piloting a frog.

“Piloting a frog?” Stella said to herself out loud. “Only at Beacon.”

She pushed the thought from her mind and watched as the rest of the students boarded the rafts and set off for the island.

The Mistralese model attempted to ignore the no doubt soaked Negasi on her screens and instead focus on her small upcoming speech. Just don't look at her Stella you're an independent woman and you don't....

Shit.

While it took a bit of time, the Grimm stayed focused on their previous vessel. As the students watched the boat sink into the ocean, the island approached them. It was large, probably at least a hundred acres.

It wasn’t until they had all gotten onto the beach that Stella’s voice would ring out once more.

“Well done everyone, I knew you’d be able to handle yourselves with grace under pressure.” She started, fiddling with a small pen, resting it on her bottom lip ever so gently. “You’re next task is twofold,” she said flicking the pen down to a button on her console that would display the island’s time over the horizon for them. “Currently it is 3:45 on that island. You’ll note that time is moving at a faster pace in the simulation, you’ve only been in for five minutes as of yet. With that being said, you have until 5:00 before an airship will pass overhead. You can, of course, create a bonfire to try and signal them or even draw something out in the sand.”

Stella allowed a moment of silence to fill the air of the island before continuing. “But know that should you fail – a tropical monsoon will reach you by 5:45. Be prepared for the consequences of failure while you’re on a mission – never allow yourself to be caught unaware.”

With that, they were alone again. To decide which path was the best.

Survival

Eventually, after gathering everyone to the lifeboats, the class was off the ship and heading towards the island. Yue let out a small sigh of relief at getting out of that situation. She was pretty calm right now, but that was only because she knew this was all just a simulation. Their lives weren’t actually in danger. If this was real, if somehow they ended up on a ship that was being attacked and sunk by grimm, Yue would have acted differently. She’d focus more about getting her own teammates and friends off and likely have not waited for others. As much as she’d want to, she would have cared more about her closest allies than anyone else. More so if there had been civilians on this ship. Yue couldn’t save everyone, and she was lucky that the only other people on the ship were people who could take care of themselves.

When everyone reached the island Estelle announced the next part of the lesson. ”There’s more?” Turns out there was a monsoon coming. Fortunately, there was also an airship coming before the storm. Yue knew that the objective should be getting the airship down here, but she worried about something else the teacher had said: time moved a bit faster in the simulation. What if, by the time the airship landed, the monsoon hits them before they could fly off? If the airship ignores them precisely because he’s already trying to outrun the monsoon?

Yue bit her bottom lip. It wouldn’t be good to bank everything on trying to get the airship to pick them up. They needed to be prepared for if the monsoon gets to them first. Yue still had some ice dust left, as well as some fire and lightning, but they weren’t very good for making shelters. She could try to make one out of ice but that would take up a lot of her dust and it might not withstand a full-on monsoon. She had some rope, some tarp, and the brooms. ”We…. We should try to find or make some shelter first. Maybe two of us to make a fire to get the attention of the airship? There’s some trees over there, we might be able to make or find a shelter inside.”

Or there could be more grimm on this island they’ll all be busy fighting. They didn’t have many options, but what else were they suppose to do? Sit around and get swept up by a storm? Yue would rather not, so she took her blade out and looked towards the forest. ”I’ll gather some lumber for a shelter or fire. There might be grimm inside, does anyone else want to come help?”

Oswald Connoly- Surviving on the Island

Oswald felt helpless as he slowly shambled about the boat, only able to find a small first aid kit, which he clipped to his Dust pouch as he made his way to evacuate the sinking ship. Getting aboard one of the lifeboats, Oswald pressed himself up against one of the sides and took a breather. He needed it, as well. Not even drawing his sword, simply relying on his cane, he'd been in pain the entire time. Even with Aura and his relatively profound constitution, his wounds were still agonizing.

As they approached the island, Oswald wondered how his "performance" would be evaluated. While he was successful in dealing with the scenario, he had done so by completely avoiding everything that could have gotten him hurt. While that was certainly a survival tactic, it wasn't exactly...great. Especially if it meant relying on others putting themselves in the line of fire for you.

Once they arrived and heard Estelle's announcement, however, Oswald felt a strange combination of relief and frustration. While he'd definitely be able to help here, he wasn't sure of how to deal with a monsoon. At the same time, he was a bit annoyed that they still had more to do. This was a survival class, though...

It was time to survive.

"I can handle making a signal fire. Just...get me wood. Small bits for kindling, good dry ones to make the fire, and some wet pieces for smoke." He was almost visibly out of breath after that much speaking, and it took him a second to start moving to find a good spot. "If somebody could help out....that'd be a real big help."

Alriiight, that got weird fast.

Two big things to note;

First, Jericho Piper was now a girl. Pretty much a perfect copy of one of the ones on the other team, actually. That... Was strange. Impressive. Pretty funny to watch unfold. But God, that was weird. Playing deceptively'd make that fun. Second of all was the Coach handing out color coded braces, which was probably wise at this point.

"Yeah, we'll go red," Ben agreed, nodding in the professor's direction. "Everybody, make sure to get your brace."

"As for strategy... Vespa's idea still works, I think. Nobody'll be paying that much attention when the game really gets going. I think the big's guy's got some decent points, and we can mostly keep the offense-defense roles. We'll see how it ends up panning out."
Seeing as they were getting color-coded now instead, Bastille's leader figured he might as well toss the shirt entirely. No point in getting it ripped. It joined his jacket and weapon with a quick toss, a movement he also used to nod to Amy. The Faunus was very team loyal, in her way, but it wasn't something he could comment on too much. Not while he was leading a more ragtag group. The bigger Faunus, he decided, was gonna be a fun guy to have around. He'd have to introduce himself a little better after the game. "They probably don't know the rules much better than we do, so this'll be fun."

"Unless anyone objects, we're probably as ready as we're gonna be. Listen to Luke, do your best, try not to bicker. Let's kick some ass, guys and gals."

The boat ride to the island was relatively smooth, causing Robert to relax more than he probably should have. He figured that the class was now out of danger, their objective complete. How could he have known there would be another part to this exercise? After jumping off the boat and onto the sandy shore, he looked up at the sky to hear the voice of God Ms. Nuit explain their new predicament.

"Well since she suggested it, might as well go with the bonfire option. Sure, it isn't creative, but it'll get the job done," the redhead said to no one in particular. It appeared he wasn't the only one thinking this as both Yue and Oswald also mentioned collecting wood for a fire. "I'll come with. It can't be that hard to find what Oswald needs," Robert announced, volunteering to come with the maid to act both as back up in case things got dicey and an extra pair of hands to make sure they brought back plenty of resources.

Having only a few moments ago been in danger and in need of saving, the boy was determined to show his worth and pull his own weight, not wanting to seem like a hindrance to his classmates. So regardless of whether anyone else joined them as they journeyed further inland, he would attempt to lead the way. Unless anyone had some sort of objection to him being the navigator for whatever reason. If they knew of his demotion from his team's leadership position or just his tendency to get into trouble, it wasn't as if their reasons would be unfounded.

Lauren wasn't particularly hungry after the twin punches of lunch and Estelle's cupcakes, but nevertheless, the mangoes in the simulation left her curious. The first thing she had done after getting off the life rafts, besides cursing that cocksucker Ben for jinxing her last night with the swimming joke, was go digging around in the foliage that hugged the beach. If there's one thing she knew about the tropics, it was the cuisine; sure enough, it had taken her only half of Estelle's briefing to find a pair of fruits, and now here she was, listening to the Survival professor's instructions.

Idly juggling her mangoes.

3:45, huh?

So, for the second half of Estelle's little halftime show, she had taken to watching the group with curiosity to see what they would do. It was kind of sad. What Estelle said about accelerated time had stuck with her; there was no telling when the hell the airship would actually come around, or how far a monsoon would come after that. The more people got lost in the forest, the more people would be fucked when the doomsday clock ticked 5 PM. Seems like a lot of these motherfuckers got their survival ideas from such acclaimed how-to guides as Cast Away, LOST, and that dumb book in fourth grade about the lil motherfucker with the thot mom.

Fourth grade was one of the years she skipped, so the book's title escaped her.

Bored, Lauren sighed and took her hatchet to one of the pieces of fruit.

Seriously, this is some red pill blue pill shit.

If she bit into this mango, would she taste mango? Would she taste nothing? Had whoever designed the simulation thought that far ahead? These were the questions that she was banking on good answers to. Inspector Negasi was about to see if this state of the art simulation was certifiably nigga-proofed.

All she needed, she opined as she looked at the small, rectangular shape that was wrapped up in her jacket, was another woman at the trigger.

Lauren lay back in the sand calmly, letting the smooth dark skin revealed by her makeshift crop top bake in the simulated hot sun for a few seconds and staring up at the clear blue sky. In her head, she was already making her selection. That cute angry bitch who Luke was always palling around with. The three of them had Armory together. She seemed cold enough.

"Hey-o on the frog! Fuck, uh...Grat! Hey-yo Grat! Word of prayer time."

She gestured expansively at the sand on the beach around her, as if it were hers to give.

Gratia Mindaro - Survival

Gratia descended from her leader's mount, boot-clad feet landing upon the golden-white sand with a quiet crunch. Her onyx eyes swept across the beach, halting only upon sighting the source of the earlier call. Lorena Negasi of BASL. One of Schwarz's many friends and acquaintances. A fellow member of Chatsworth's half-arsed Armoury class. Her mind was rapidly exhausted of all the knowledge regarding the other huntress that she could actually claim to possess. Lorena Negasi was nothing more than a stranger to her, another vague face in the unwashed masses that she cared naught for.

In most circumstances, she would never have actively engaged her classmate, and it was likely that the reverse was true for Lorena as well. However, their current situation was one that demanded teamwork in order to achieve any semblance of success, so it was no surprise that she would eventually be working with another trainee hunter. Her escape from the sinking ship had been assisted by Venetia's abhorrent ambulant amphibian, after all; if she were to consider that ensuring a way off this island wasteland was essentially a more difficult version of leaving the ship (except this time the water would be fucking them over from above instead of from below), then supposedly a larger number of hunters would be needed to facilitate victory.

The Mistralese huntress couldn't care less if there was one hunter or a thousand. It was pointless to draw a correlation when all that mattered was the successful result. Whether it was Estelle Nuit's desire for all the students to work together or not was irrelevant to the situation. Psychoanalysing the motivations and methods behind the class was bullshit for another time. What was key was ensuring that victory was absolutely certain.

And when taking into account the limited timeframe, and given the potential assistance that other hunters could provide, Gratia would have needed to be the most braindead fuckwit, dead or alive, to shy away from the resources at her disposal.

"Negasi," she replied, approaching the other girl. "What do you have planned?"

Survival Class
Lumberjacking

The students success at leaving the boat didn’t mark the end of class, unfortunately. That was just one part of the test. Now they needed to find a way to survive the coming storm, or get off this island. Apparently there was an airship enroute so getting its attention would be important. But should that fail, everyone would need to find shelter from the monsoon. Gren was unfortunately not very experienced in dealing with such tropical storms, but he had some small clue about making homemade tents. The White Fang often had them move about a lot, and the tents Gren was familiar with were sturdy enough to withstand our average rainstorm. Whether or not it could handle a monsoon would be soon seen.

”Well then, you all heard her! Let’s get moving. Oswald has the fire, now we need lumber. We ain’t got time to make a log cabin though, so fine as much reeds, leaves, and other fibrous materials as you can too. That’ll be filler.” Gren activated his semblance to reduce friction between his feet and the ground, and then rocketed towards the forest while revving up his chainsaw. With ease he cut down swathes if trees as if they were twigs. Once he had about ten felled logs, Gren kept them together using his semblance and hauled them towards Oswald utilizing g his brute strength. They were still quite heavy, but nothing that Gren couldn’t handle with his semblance allowing him to slide it to Oswald like a sled.

”Aight Ozzy, here’s some timber. Got some leaves and bark on em too so you can make em extra Smokey. I’m going to go back and try to help the others make some sort of shelter. Holler if ya need me.”

Before Gren left he took the courtesy to chop the trees into more manageable logs, but beyond that he’d leave it to Oswald to handle and make the bonfire. Gren would return to the others and lead the act of deforesting the coast to create some sort of storm shelter. He really hoped someone else knew how to make one; he was only good at gathering materials. Any attempts at subtle or silence would be ignored as Gren’s chainsaw ripped through the trunks of any tree of considerable girth, though he at least had the courtesy of shouting ”TIMBER!” So no one was crushed underneath one of his fallen logs.

"Look at this," Lauren said, waving a hand dismissively from Grat to Gren's efforts at cutting down timber. "Look at this shit. Look at this fuckery on our hands. You'd think we didn't all have superpowers, huh?"

Lauren tilted her head backwards at Grat as she approached from the beach, giving the cold Mistralian girl a dazzling smile and tossing her hair up from over one of her emerald eyes.

"So Luke says you that bitch, huh? He's always talking about how you're 'bout that action." Lauren looked Gratia up and down, appraising the merits of the Vignoble girl for her plan before shrugging to herself and beaming wider. "So look, we know how these rich bitches rock. We've been in this sim for what, fifteen minutes? This girl Stella, love be upon her, she's got an hour and a half of class to fill, right? I don't see her letting us skate out of here an hour early unless we're done an hour early, and monsoon season don't take too kindly on these niggas out here. I think Stella's banking on that. So look here."

Lauren leaned forward and grinned conspiratorially, lifting up her jacket and displaying to Gratia what she was keeping underneath the garment. Her eyes were twinkling now - the look of the salesman making her pitch.

"I'm going up there and I'm gonna finesse that motherfucking airship right from the sky. I got the ordinance to get us up there, but I don't know how many projections might be programmed to crew that bitch. I need a girl who packs some heat in case things go wild up there. Ain't like we're shedding any real blood up there, right? We're killing video game characters. Like running over hookers or whatever. You gun 'em down, toss 'em into the ocean, whatever you gotta do, and I will take the ship down onto this here beach, pick up the kids, and we'll split the extra credit for not using any of this silver screen bullshit to try and flag the airship."

She was staring at Grat intently now, eyes boring right into the listless onyx gaze of the Mistralian girl.

"Even before Luke told me about you, I could tell you were a shark. I could see it in you in Armory. I can appreciate that. And I always appreciate another girl looking to fuck over a zillionaire." Lauren covered up her package again with a casual brush of her jacket over its surface, and then pulled her hand away from the white leather and held it up to Grat to shake. "So you come up there, be my shooter, and let's get this A-motherfucking-plus, the two of us. Then let's be friends."

Amaranth Desire: Football's Eve

“Do not worry, teammate. I said the attractive members of the team, you have little to worry about."

Amy stared at Blaine for a few moments, the student-Huntress' feathers standing stark out of her hair as he continued, then she abruptly laughed, smoothing them down before tousling the rest into a mess of crimson spikes. BASL's stripper wasn't entirely certain if Blaine had meant to dunk on her like that--from what little she'd seen of him, he was as oblivious as he was huge--but it was a dunk nevertheless, one she'd opened herself up for. One of her eyes closed in a mock wince, her gaze falling to the floor a little before she looked up at him out of the top of her right eye, the soft blue having a twinkling edge to it.

She'd never been that irritated to begin with, just blunt, but that certainly took the wind out of any small anger she might have been feeling.

"Fair enough, big guy. I'll leave the stripping to the men, then.”

She attached the red brace to her arm, ignoring the unbidden memories of "red is your color, you should wear it more" and focusing again. The number one rule of improv was to go along with the group, and the same thing went for a team. Even if you didn't go for the optimal strategy, the group working together would be better than half going for one and half going for the other.

So when Jericho became Sand, she took it in stride, only a slight smirk coming to her lips and a nod to their now disguised teammate.

She was ready.

Ready for some football.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

"All prepared, then?"

The muscled masculine ideal lead his flock to the centre of the field, his powerful hands gripping the ball between the two sides that had formed in their colour-coded teams.

"Trad, Benjamin, you two shall serve as the ruckmen. When I throw this ball into the air, your jobs shall be to hit the ball back towards your teams in order to obtain possession."

A nod, and then a few seconds later, the ball was airborne.

Ready for one of the two to hit towards their teams.

Krysanthe felt a little bad at being one of the instigator's of the "skins VS shirts" that had escalated very quickly into something of a mess. Admittedly it was a mess she was struggling very hard not to laugh her head off at and make things worse but... it was pretty funny. Soon Mr. Muscles brought things back under control by handing out colored braces, Krysanthe put one of the blue ones that were handed out for their team. Not really her color, but she would deal. Trad gave a last team speech of sorts and they were on the field ready to play. As soon as the ball went into the air Krysanthe sprinted forward, with surprising speed. She was offense right? RIGHT! "Get it Trad!" she shouted as she ran forward, attempting to avoid the enemy team as much as possible while ready to be passed to and immediately make a shot. In games like this, it was best to take advantage of the lack of familiarity with teammates by taking the initiative! If nothing else she would draw some attention and open up the field for her teammates. Plus if the other team got the ball and passed it back she could immediately pressure them. Her strategy was perfect!

Trad stood center field and watched both teams as they took positions. Once everyone was in position, Trad’s focused shifted to the coach as he explained what their jobs as ruckmen would be. After they nodded in understanding, Trad quickly spoke to Ben with a sly smirk. “Hey, good luck out there. You’re gonna need it.”

Seconds later the ball was in the air and Trad was ready. With a running jump he met the ball in its decnet and knocked it to his left where Selena would be posted. Once he knew his team had the ball, Trad checked the field again and spotted Krysanthe down the field and in position for a goal. “Selena! Pass to Krysanthe!” Trad called hoping she would have a fast enough reaction time to take advantage of the opportunity they had.

Survival

Finding herself standing on an island, Sangue blinked.

It felt familiar to the home she had once lived in, but at the same time, it felt different. For there was a surplus of water surrounding them, and they were stranded.

Looking around, Sangue found almost everyone heading off to gather wood. Lauren seemed to be discussing something with a rather familiar-looking person. She stared at the two for a brief moment before turning away.

She wondered what she should do.

Her gaze fell upon a tall, dark-haired man who was left alone. While he looked much, much stronger than her, he did not seem to feel well.

She glanced around, believing that there was enough people going off to gather wood, and distracting Lauren would only make her a liability. The red-haired woman promptly stood behind the man, though she remained silent and kept her distance. Her expression remained idle as she looked out for any potential threats.

Oswald Connoly- Strange Presence

As Oswald waited for wood to be gathered, he...noticed something. It took him a short while, admittedly, but while he was staring out to the shore and thinking, he certainly noticed something strange.

Somebody was watching him. He had that crawling feeling up his spine, the one that told you you weren't alone. Turning around, he saw somebody he only recognized in passing. Sangue. The girl with the new arm that Gren, Shiro, and apparently even Sapphire had helped her with. It was a testament to their technological prowess and contacts that they managed to make a new arm for somebody over the course of a weekend.

"...Hi. Sangue, right?" He kept it short, more for his own sake than out of any sort of caution regarding the rumors of her strange behavior. Talking too much still took more out of him than he liked to admit.

Amaranth Desire: Double Down

Amy backpedaled down the field toward her own goalposts, keeping her eye on the ball and on the members of the opposing team that seemed to be assigned to offense. Her semblance didn't give her any speed advantage, just reaction time, so she had to stay in a careful position and keep her eye on the ball. She'd probably do better making callouts than sprinting after every ball herself, as well, since ball-chasing as an entire team was only likely to lose them the game. Prediction and thought would be how she had to win this--not sheer athletic talent.

Barring some deception--which she'd have ample time to react to--the ball was bound to Selena, then Krysanthe. She watched the blonde girl's movements, her eyes flicking toward the ball and its current holder with regularity,

Soon the teacher arrived to give some much needed order to the silliness that Selena had started, so she meekly backed off and listened what everyone else was saying. She still kept her shirt off however. Trad told Selena that she was going to be on the offense alongside of Krysanthe, Cian, and Sepia. She didn't know them very well but she at least knew what they looked like now. "Hi. Hope we win, yeah?"

Eventually the game started properly. Her team managed to get the ball first and Trad passed it to Selena. She caught it on one hand and moved forward, dribbling it like she was suppose to in the book. Trad ordered her to pass it to Krysanthe and Selena was about to, but she did notice someone who seemed to be covering Krysanthe. Selena wasn't sure what she was capable of and wasn't sure if she wanted to take that risk. However Selena couldn't just keep running with the ball either, less she become a target. So she had a wonderful idea and used it.

"Got it! Think fast!"

Right after Selena finished a dribble she crouched low to the ground and hopped high into the air, at least twenty five feet up. She hoped that surprising the opposition with the jump would give her just enough time for her to pass the ball at Krysanthe from her higher angle. This way, the chances of someone running between Selena and Krystane to intercept or knock the ball off course was minimized. It wasn't a fool proof plan but hopefully it'll get her team the first point.

Fortunately gathering the lumber went by completely uneventfully. Yue had hew down more then two dozens of trees alongside the others, making a vast clearing as well as gathering a lot of materials. Alas, carpentry wasn't one of Yue's talents. She could improvise a shelter with the wood and what ice dust she had, but she'd have no idea how structurally secure it was. "Hmm... Well... Obviously, it needs a wall and a roof to protect from the rain. But it also has to be elevated to prevent flooding. Something that is stable too, can't just stack it up on the ground or else it could all come tumbling down." Yue wished the supplies she took would be helpful, but she didn't have enough rope, and the tarp was only good for maybe one wall or a small, one-person hut. And she doubts they needed to mop up the monsoon.

Looking at the terrain, she did notice that as she was cutting down trees, she was going up an incline. It was a very small hill that would go down to the beach, so they had something of a high ground. If they could create a shelter near the top of the slope, they wouldn't have to worry about water sweeping them down into the ocean. Alternatively... She had another idea, but it would require great strength and careful climbing skills. As she thought about her idea she spotted Gren and Robert and called them out. "Robert! Gren! Could you come here for a moment? I have an idea."

Survival

She stared at the man, then blinked when he mentioned her name.

Did she know him? She believed not, and perhaps she was being rude by not knowing him. Though he was in some of her classes, she had never spoken to him.

But then again, that was probably because she just didn't speak enough in general.

Nodding softly at his question, she remained silent for a moment.

The red-haired Huntress then spoke, "...Hello."

She took a few steps closer to him, occasionally glancing up to see if there were any nearby threats. It didn't take long for her to turn her attention back to him as she asked,

"What... is your name?"

Though her expression remained the same, it was clear that she was curious about him, but refused to bother him if he wanted to keep silent.
