Jaden certainly has a presence to him. He's tall (at six-five), muscular, and confident. He has the ability to draw the attention of an entire crowd with his voice alone. Though, he definitely has that cockiness to him, from that shit-eating grin, to the way he walks. Jaden is a loud, and spastic person that definitely hard to predict, yeah. One could easily identify him as a Nomad from his attire - mostly the blades that he carries around on his being, and pouches. He has two katanas strapped to his back, his two mainstay weapons, and a larger katana at his waist, a sword given to him by a friend. And his most important weapon on his other hip... his mic. He definitely looks like trouble, but fortunately, he's on the side of the good guys (in his own special way). Jaden usually wears jeans, or slacks of some kind, with a T-shirt. Jaden is definitely African-American, with his dark-skin, thick lips, and African skull shape. He speaks with a thick urban accent.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Jaden was born in the good old city of Philadelphia! Where they signed Declaration of Independence, fitting for a dude like Jaden who loves his freedom! Jaden was born to a wealthy family that had tons of oversea business to attend to, and that meant lots of traveling for the Raldo family. Though, Jaden was a particularly rowdy kid growing up. Getting into all sorts of danger and confrontation growing up, all over the world, baby! This lead him to being restricted from going along with his parents, and instead confined to his family's mansion in Philadelphia. And the family's servants were instructed to keep him contained at all costs. They could barely hold him back. It was instead decided that he needed an outlet for his energy.

They contacted an old friend of theirs... Sensei Hirokazu. Hirokazu was a ninjutsu master that was a good friend of Jaden's father. After bribing him with a lot of money, they got him to take Jaden under their wing, and train him, and otherwise keep him out of trouble. And after a few really good Japanese language classes, Jaden was whisked away to Japan.

At first, Jaden was annoyed that he was sent to live with some old fart, then he warmed up to the idea of becoming a Ninja! Until he realized that being a ninja was a lot of work, he had to do all sorts of arduous training. From meditating in the woods, to meditating in the dojo, to meditating on top of a mountain. There was so much meditation, and so little cool ninja stuff. However, this training was helping Jaden develop his ki, and in a manner of a few years, Jaden had developed a load of ki. And the results of his training had turned Jaden into a very competent ninja, a master of stealth and badassery.

However, while he was training under Sensei, he learned about Ki, and what it is. Sensei told him about his own innate ki, and tried to teach Jaden one of the first steps to manipulating ki, sensing. It was a basic technique to Sensei, but a challenge for Jaden.

He was told to look into himself for the answers to his question of why he can't learn Ki. Sensei sent Jaden to places to live alone until he overcomes the hurdles inside of himself and become one with the world. From the Brazilian Amazons, to Siberia, Jaden was forced to survive alone, and meditate, as he takes the first steps to mastering ki. The epiphany came to him upon being sent to the African Sahara, and sensed a pack of hyenas... dispatching the hyenas, Jaden realized that he has learned to sense ki itself.

Returning to Japan, Jaden was congratulated for his discovery, and was accepted into the next level of his Ninjutsu training. Jaden felt proud of himself, but began to grow dangerously arrogant. At this stage, Jaden was sent on actual missions by his Sensei, basically behind the scenes peacekeeping. Such as defeating local crime-lords, and stealing stolen artifacts.

But, everything changed once his Sensei told him to retrieve an ancient weapon from one of his old rivals: Jotaro. The weapon was the legendary sword Murakumo, stolen decades ago. The relations between Hirokazu and Jotaro stemmed from the time they were mere students of the same master, and Jotaro killed their master to steal the legendary sword. It was a task of the utmost importance, and Jaden was instructed to never use the sword under any circumstance. He took it seriously as he usually does; not at all.

Infiltrating his compound in the mountains was easy... but, he blew it at the last second, and revealed himself to Jotaro. He got viciously thrashed by the ninja master until he grabbed the legendary blade Murakumo for himself, and slashed Jotaro with it. The overwhelming power of the sword allowed Jaden to defeat Jotaro with one slash... only to lose himself to the sword. He went on a rampage, destroying the compound with the blade. After his rampage was cover, he managed to collect himself, and realize what he's done.

He darted back to his Sensei's compound... only to find his Sensei, Hirokazu, dead, with a blade driven through his heart. Jaden quickly left, only to find out that he's been framed for the theft of Murakumo all those years ago, and found Japanese authorities coming after him. He escaped from Japan with Murakumo... but, there was a few questions that Jaden had. Starting with who framed him even though Jotaro and his goons were beaten to a pulp? Along with who killed Hirokazu.

With assassins and various other warriors after them, Jaden ultimately decided to become a Nomad. He became a roaming warrior that did work for the highest bidder... but kept his principles above all else. He refused to harm innocent people, instead just go after other crooks. While searching for clues as to who his master's killer was (so far he's found absolutely nothing).

All while promoting his killer rap album, "Taste the Sword."

FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES

FIGHTING STYLE

Ninjutsu, baby! Jaden is practically a ninja. Jaden employs a modified version of it that makes good use of his high-ki. Jaden uses it to zip around the battlefield, doing hops, flips, and even teleporting! To put it simply; Jaden possess a lot of high-mobility techniques that lets him close in on opponents, while having plenty of hard hitting moves that take the enemy out quickly. Though, Jaden uses less stealth and discipline, and more of the heavy hitting moves. Such as kicks, chops, and more importantly, Jaden's swords. He doesn't carry around those katanas for show! He knows how to use those blades really well, and slices with speed and precision to cut stone. Jaden can also channel his ki into these blades to increase their strength and durability. Whenever Jaden uses this technique, he infuses the blades with ki, and they are surrounded with light. Now, Jaden also possesses the legendary Japanese sword Murakumo... which is a powerful weapon infused with a lot of ki, but there is a spirit residing inside of it. Should Jaden use it, he will lose himself... but, he'll have amazing strength. Jaden also knows the ki-sense technique.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Wallbounce

Jaden has the ability to leap off the walls of the stage (or any surface) that he can get to. If he can get to another wall, he can keep wallbouncing, as he overwhelms his opponents with speed. He can quickly lead wallbounce into any other move, to confuse foes.

■ Teleportation

Jaden's main method of getting around. By focusing, doing the Japanese salute, he can teleport to a specific point in a poof of smoke. It takes a few moments for Jaden to get ready to teleport, so he can't exactly use it to evade attacks unless he's fighting the world's slowest enemy. Should he teleport behind an enemy, he can follow it up with an attack.

■ Ninja-Step

He can charge his ki to allow him to perform a burst of speed to quickly travel. Leaving behind many afterimages, he can practically flashstep a short distance. This is more of an alternative to teleportation, he doesn't require time to start up, and can immediately do it. However, there's a short period of time before he can act. So, it's more about closing distance on enemies. If he does it at the right time, however, projectiles will go right through him.

■ Judo-Flip

Jaden can suddenly flip up into the air, rolling as he comes to the ground. In the middle of this technique, he can follow it up with a kick, a grapple, or a downward slash of one of his swords.

■ Dive-Kick

Jaden infuses the end of his foot with ki as he launches himself straight at an opponent. It's great for clearing distance on enemies.

■ Knife-Hand

A simple technique, he infuses his hand with a lot of ki, and swings it horizontally, or vertically, in a wide arc. He uses this technique in his many combos.

■ Flash-Blades

Jaden infuses his blades with ki, and slices with both of them faster than what the eye can see in an X motion.

■ Whirlwind

Jaden grabs both his blades, and spins around, while jumping upward. It's enough to take enemies out that are above him, while also getting enemies up into the air.

SUPER MOVES

■ The Legendary Blade

Jaden pulls out Murakomo, and feels the ki flowing through his body. He raises the sword up into the air, and slices the air, creating a powerful ki wave that'll devastate foes.

■ Take the Sword

Jaden slashes with both blades in an X motion similar to his flash blades, but, once the blades connect, Jaden will barrage his foe from all directions. Stabbing them, slashing them, as Japanese Kanji appears above them created by his ki. When he is finished, he'll use Murakumo for one final slash.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Jaden's attacks, while fast and damaging, leave him open, as he's trying to use a fighting style that wasn't meant for up front fights. If he misses, or an opponent blocks, they can definitely capitalize on it and string him into a combo. Jaden is also very cocky, and the type to rush head first without thinking. Not exactly a thinker, but more of a doer. The legendary blade Murakomo also possesses a powerful demon inside of it. If he uses it for more than one slash, he'll slip, and lose himself to the demon in the blade.

The cyborg with blue eyes, and blond-hair, Justin is a boy that was turned into a machine after a horrible accident destroyed most of his body. He's missing both his arms, and legs, along with a great chunk of his torso, and a part of his skull. Thanks to the best cybernetics a man could offer, those limbs were compensated with silver machinery that glow with a dim light-blue light. His body is nothing but cold steel, silver, and titanium underneath the hoodie. Fortunately, his face is mostly intact, save for his glowing blue eyes that are electronic. Other than that, Justin is a fairly average heighted European man at five-eleven feet tall. He's pretty thin... but, he can't exactly develop muscles or gain body weight due to the fact that he is mostly machine, rather than human. Justin wears massive headphones at all times (they're actually apart of his cybernetics), and a hoodie, and some baggy pants to hide his mechanical parts.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Justin was born as to the son to Douglas Haggar, a legendary cybernetics master that works for the International Hope Foundation. A company that is devoted to saving people's lives with cybernetics. Justin was just an average son of the man, who was born in New York City, and raised there. He had everything he needed growing up, but once he got out of school, he slowly began wondering about his place in the world. He was living in his father's shadow as he went through school, and was expected to become his successor. But, Justin really wanted to become his own man.

He read stories about Nomads, and ki... and wondered how he could do the same thing. In an effort to become a Ki-warrior like the others, he looked into a few martial arts, and ultimately settled in Muay-Thai. He did plenty to achieve a high-ki, but he didn't even realize it, yet. He was having such a good time practicing a martial art, that he settled on becoming a professional. The new "big thing," in the martial artist world.

However, everything changed once he went to a Hope Foundation exhibit (where they were showing off a new prototype android). There was an attack launched by a man named Abel, whom had been terrorizing the world at large for unknown reasons. He came with his army of machines, and other goons, in an attempt to kill the leading members of the Hope Foundation. A massive battle ensued, and in an attempt to save his father, Justin fought Abel one on one... then he turned it into a four on one with his machines. H beat Justin to an inch of his life - but, Justin's father got away. Annoyed, Abel had a machine self destruct directly onto Justin.

This tore Justin to pieces... but what ki he had saved his life. Justin was rushed straight to the surgery bed, and had to undergo a massive surgery which replaced most of his damaged body-parts with top of the line cybernetics. And a new prototype defense system known as the Sound-System LCD, that turned ki into deadly soundwaves. It was a week before Justin woke up... unfeeling.

Justin was horrified to learn what had happened, and learned that a large chunk of him was dead. While he was coming to terms with himself, he eventually turned to rage. He wanted revenge against Abel for what he did. However, he had little tools to get revenge against him other than his cybernetics, and martial arts skills. However, he was approached by a man named Hunter Clifford, who was the master of a peacekeeping force known as MAVERICK. MAVERICK was an international team of UN approved Ki-warriors that were magic, technological, and mundane. They went around the world, and took out threats. Abel was one of the people they were going after... and Justin gladly accepted.

He joined MAVERICK after some training, and went around the world, fighting crime, and being regarded as a hero of sorts. But, he was no closer to finding Abel than before. Eventually, he was ordered to recover an inactive machine by his boss. He found this suspicious, but then he found the "machine," they were after, and it was a woman. Or more accurately, an android in the shape of a woman. He activated her by accident, and the woman was fairly cordial with him. Introducing herself as Seven-Seven, given the designation on the side of her neck. He asked her questions, but he couldn't glean anything useful out of her because of her lack of a memory.

Justin returned her to MAVERICK, and then he was interrogated by his superiors over what she told him. When he responded with that she told him nothing, they didn't believe him. They didn't believe him, and threw him in a holding cell. There was something off about this mission and Justin could smell it. He escaped from containment... only to find his bosses handing Seven-Seven over to Abel. Justin immediately flew into a rage, and attacked Abel.

The battle was vicious, as Justin was much stronger, but he wasn't strong enough. However, the android girl asked for Justin to disable her combat inhibitor by destroying a specific component on her body, and Justin complied. She immediately unveiled her massive arsenal that was enough to turn the tide of the battle in their favor. They made Abel retreat, but they destroyed MAVERICK headquarters in the process.

Justin's "superiors" turned the situation against him to save their ass, and said that Justin went rogue, and stole dangerous technology. Turning the world against Justin, and forcing him to go on the run. However, he wasn't alone. He was joined by his new robotic companion, Seven-Seven. The two of them went on a worldwide adventure to find out who made her, and just what makes her special, while searching for Abel in the process.

The life of a Nomad wasn't easy, especially when there were crooks and all sorts of hooligans coming after them (there is a bounty on them). They had to compete in tournaments and fights to earn money. However, once Justin and Seven-Seven arrived in Brazil, Seven-Seven remembered a name... Edward Gallo. And upon looking him up, they learned that he was a roboticist that went missing a few years ago.

They decided to look into him... but they needed some heavy cash.

FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES

FIGHTING STYLE

Justin's fighting style is Muay-Thai, except Justin's own rendition of it. It's a far more aggressive and mobile form of Muay-Thai based around closing the distance and throwing in decisive blows. His attacks are seen as more heavy. Being a cyborg, Justin is capable of channeling his ki into sound, given that he has subwoofers mounted on his palms, elbows, shoulders, knees, and shins... turning the sound of his heartbeats into pulses of bright-blue energy. By using this energy, Justin can shoot blasts of varying shapes, and he incorporates these blasts into his fighting style to either enhance his attacks, or move around. It's pretty versatile. All in all, Justin is close to the "Shotoclone" fighting archetype.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Beat-Pulse

Justin's basic movement ability, he uses his subwoofers to launch him around the area with explosive force. Basically giving himself a rudimentary flight. It can send him in any direction.

■ Record-Spinner

Justin hops off the ground, and performs three wide arced spinning=kicks that send him sprawling across the stage. These kicks can be chained into any combo, and if performed at the right moment, will cause projectiles to pass him. Justin's "hurricane kick." Can be performed in the air.

■ Rhythm-Hammer

Justin punches the ground and creates a blue explosion of ki and sound in front of himself. It's strong enough to send any opponent flying, and open for him to continue attacking. He can do the attack from the air to create an even stronger explosion.

■ Sound-Scythe

Sound Scythe features Justin doing a flip kick with both legs. His legs are charged with ki, and leave behind a blue trail similar to the blade of a scythe. A powerful move that can take out opponents above him, but it's a very high-risk, high-reward, move. That can easily end with him getting pummeled.

■ Sonic-Beat

A blast of sound energy that either travels fast, or slow, and hits with concussive force.

SUPER MOVES

■ Orchestra

Justin's right hand transforms into an enormous cannon, before he fires a massive beam of ki energy and sound. Which is easily one of his strongest ki based moves, being able to damage even the strongest enemies.

■ Original Soundtrack.

Justin starts a powerful combo started by one enhanced Beat-Pulse. If the Beat-Pulse connects, he will initiate a high-speed combo which revolves him zipping around the opponent, followed by one final Rhythm Hammer.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Justin has a few different strengths in a few different areas, but he isn't overwhelmingly strong in any category. He's pretty balanced, overall. His martial arts are average, his movement is outclassed by other Nomads, and he has some fairly standard projectiles. He's essentially a jack of all trades, he can do a lot, but isn't overwhelmingly strong in any category. That said, Justin has a glowing core in the center of his chest that provides his cybernetics with power... if it's damaged, it can slow him down to a halt until it's repaired. And it's hard to find people capable of repairing it (Justin's father has to direct him to someone under the table). Aside from that, Justin is very weak against electrical damage.

The mysterious girl in the black dress has a strange aura around her. Something that isn't human. Her electronic blue eyes, and her odd demeanor. They would be totally correct, as Seven-Seven is a machine. An Android. She has a layer of false-flesh made out of a strange synthetic material that is impossible to tell from the real thing. She appears to be a five-ten, somewhat chubby, twenty-year old girl that has 40D breasts, and a matching behind. Though, it's all underneath a black dress, a mink-fur coat, and black dress shoes. Seven-Seven, underneath that layer, is all machine. She is made out of a complex network of machinery that would take a genius to understand. On the right side of her neck, she has 77 written in a black barcode.

Seven-Seven was an unknown machine produced by a team of genius scientists. She has very little memory of her past - other than "flashes" triggered by familiar events. Seven-Seven joined Justin to find out her past, and find this Heartbreaker that nearly killed him.

FIGHTING STYLE

Seven-Seven has apparently been outfitted with a weapons system, and has been programmed with self-defense protocols. That's to say that she uses an unidentified fighting-style that involves punches and kicks. But, Seven-Seven rarely uses those. Instead, she uses her weapons system. Seven-Seven has a lot of different weapons. From a plasma-gun, to a rocket-launcher, to a machine gun, and more (Like where does she keep these weapons?). Her fighting style revolves around keeping opponents at bay, and whittling down on their defenses, using her mobility options to put distance between herself and then. Only fighting up front if she has to. This zoning technique is quite effective against slower foes. All of her gadgets put her on par with ki-using martial artists. Oddly enough, Seven-Seven has the ability to sense ki.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Quickboost

Seven-Seven's lower body transforms into a jumpjet that lets dash back and forth. She can't exactly fly, but it acts as a dash that she can could use every few seconds. She uses this as a quick escape option to put distance on those getting too close to her. While in Limit-Release, she covers more distance by Quickboosting.

■ Overboost

Only available in Limit-Release. Her boosters become far more powerful, to the point where she gains the ability of flight instead of Quickboost. She can fly for a few moments, before needing to stop for a moment. But, while Overboosting, she can travel in all directions.

■ Rocket-Launcher

Seven-Seven's right hand turns into a rocket launcher, and she fires a missile that can either move slow or fast, and when it explodes, it launches the opponent into the air... if it's not fucking blocked. In Limit-Release, her rockets home in on targets. They can be easy to dodge with timing, but can catch someone off guard.

■ Machine-Gun Barrage

A shoulder-mounted machine-gun shoots a brief barrage at her foe before going back in. While in Limit-Release, she can fire a longer barrage.

■ Plasma-Ball

Seven-Seven's arm transforms and charges up a orb of plasma to shoot at her opponents. It takes a few moments to charge, but Seven-Seven can fire it earlier for a quicker, smaller blast. If she fully charges the plasma orb, it turns into a slow moving, but very damaging orb of death. If she shoots it with a smaller orb, it'll explode. In Limit-Release, the orb charges up much faster, nearly instantly.

■ Plasma-Beam

Only available in Limit-Release. While in Limit-Release, she has the ability to fire a stage-spanning beam of blue energy that does a lot of damage. While easy to dodge (and leaves her open afterwards), it's still a powerful attack.

■ Flash-Bomb

Seven-Seven shoots a large bomb at her enemies that'll explode like a flashbang. It's described to be like staring into the sun, and stuns her opponent for a few moments. In Limit-Release, she fires an extra Flash-Bomb.

SUPER MOVES

■ Limit-Release

Seven-Seven has been placed with many limiters to prevent her from going overboard, and damage her system. At will, she can break all these limiters, and tap into an incredible power. By overclocking her systems, putting her generators at max capacity, and overcharging her weapons systems, she becomes an incredibly powerful foe. In the state of Limit Release, she becomes much faster (in addition to unlocking Overboost, her regular movement speed goes up), her weapons fire/travel faster, along with unlocking functions that are normally locked away. There is technically no time limit for Limit Release, but the moment she activates it, she'll begin to damage herself and lose health. Overboost and Plasma Beam does damage to her when she uses them (Plasma Beam more than Overboost). She can, at any time, cancel Limit Release, but needs time before activating it again.

■ Self-Destruct

A final, all or nothing, move by Seven-Seven where she overcharges her systems similar to Limit-Release,
but in a destructive massive. She'll create a short-ranged explosion that'll do incredible amounts of damage to her opponents. She'll survive, but she'll be so badly damaged that even a weak blow can take her out. After using Self-Destruct, she cannot use any of her weapons until she gets a chance to repair herself. In addition, she'll blow off most of her clothing save for a special piece.

■ All-Out Barrage

Seven-Seven just transforms into a massive monstrosity of a machine with a bunch of different cannons in all directions. Pointing them in the direction of one unlucky man, before releasing a barrage of missiles that's sure to blow a poor Nomad to bits! Afterwards, Seven-Seven transforms back.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Seven-Seven is not good at up close encounters. She is good at keeping her opponent at bay, whittling away at their defense. If they get close, her options are limited, and she'll most likely have to get away somehow. Even though she has martial arts in her systems, they're the most basic as they come, and inferior to a dedicated martial artist. Which is why her worst matchups are against those who are quick. As they can dodge her attacks, and get her out of her comfort zone. She is also quite fragile, lacking any solid defensive options.

Sage Pimm is quite... ambiguous. They have features of both males and females... and otherwise, don't adhere to any gender. On one hand, Sage has a soft, feminine, face, a thin, dainty, body-frame, soft hands, back-length hair, and a rather feminine voice (That is stated to be quite beautiful). On the other hand, Sage is six-one, has no feminine curves, and can rock a suit. It's unknown what's between Sage's legs, and that will most likely remain a mystery. Around Sage is a heavenly aura, as Sage stands proud, with a certain light around them. True to their angelic lineage. Their blonde-hair, and bright-green eyes, along with a pure aura around them. They rarely lose composure... but, there are moments where Sage breaks down into fits of laughter, or other expressive emotions. These lapses in emotion otherwise betray Sage's perfectly composed demeanor, and are usually quickly corrected.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Sage was born in Amsterdam to a wealthy family that was originally from America. A family that has existed since the days of old. They grew up with wealth... but, Sage was born with a secret, something that made him special. Once he was old enough to walk, Sage was immediately put into training. Training with a variety of weapons as Sage was able to manifest a light. Weaving this light into weapons, Sage was extensively trained with sword-fighting, and spear-fighting, until he became a master at it.

Then, Sage was informed of his past; the Pimm family descended from an angel. A powerful angel that was God's favorite warrior, a wielder of light. He brought order to the world during the age of magic... until the cataclysmic event that wiped out a majority of the magical beings. At some point (they don't know), he bore a child, and passed down his powerful light-based abilities. However, with each new descendant, the light got weaker.

Sage was going to be sent on a mission, as it was his duty to help the world. There was another event looming on the horizon... and it was up to the Pimm family to stop it - but, first, Sage has to go find a powerful artifact known as "The First Light." It has been stated to be the soul of Angel that started this, and retrieving it will allow the Pimm Family to use their full power.

FIGHTING STYLE

Being an half-angel, Sage utilizes a "holy" version of ki, that allows them to create weapons made out of light. They aren't the type to use hand to hand, but instead, a variety of weapons. Sage has extensive swordsmen training, which allows them to manifest a variety of different weapons out of light. Sage's specialty has to be fighting in the air, and juggling opponents. As their moveset revolves around getting their opponents up in the air, and giving them hell. Stringing them into massive combos, and wearing down on foes with their incredibly quick attacks. And if that doesn't work, Sage has a few ranged attacks. In addition, they have the ability to purify evil beings, and evil objects, on contact. Sage has the ability to ki-sense.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Angelic-Wings

Sage sprouts wings from their back, which flaps, and giving them air. In essence, Angelic-Wings is a double jump of sorts. They can also use the wings to slow down their descent.

■ Heaven's Arrow

Sage creates a bow and arrow out of light, and fires it at foes. It travels in an arc that can possibly travel over obstacles and hit opponents. It burns them on contact.

■ Parthian Shot

A mixture of Angelic-Wings, and Heaven's Arrow. Sage lunges backwards with their wings deployed as an evasion attack, and fires several arrows. They can choose not to shoot arrows, and instead just dodge to fake out foes.

■ Sky-Splitter

Sage, with whatever weapon they are using slashes up into the air, and from there, can begin a combo. This is Sage's mainstay when it comes to starting combos. Depending on which weapon they use it can be fast (two swords), slow but have a long reach (spear), or be very damaging (Sword).

■ The Forsaken

Summoning an intense burst of speed, Sage practically flash steps, slashing at their opponent so fast that they only appears as a line. Ending up on the other side of their foe. They also have the option of chaining it a second time, and returning back to their previous position. It also has a wide window for chaining into a combo.

■ The Sun

Sage leaps up into the air, rolling faster than the eye can comprehend (so they appear like a ball of with a blade). During this attack, Sage does several hits during their descent.

■ Godly Ring

Sage manifests a spear made out of light and spins it up in the air wildly, hitting whatever is above them.

■ His Loyal Servant

Sage dives forward their weapons extended, spinning, where they take a drill-like appearance as they launch themselves forward. They can do this in any direction, up to three times, and it's fairly good for chaining into combos.

■ Punishment

Sage throws their current weapon that they are wielding. Where it'll hover for a few moments, spinning incredibly fast, before coming back. Doing large amounts of damage, at the cost of leaving Sage very open if it misses, or gets blocked.

SUPER MOVES

■ Wings of the Angel

Sage prays, and manifests gigantic wings made out of light. Sage will float up into the air, and then barrage their foe with a storm of feathers made out of light. On their own, these feathers do abysmal damage, and are quite easy to block. However, if most (or all) of the feathers hit, they do enormous amounts of damage. Inflicting a death of a thousand cuts situation.

■ Divine Punishment

Sage creates a gigantic bow made out of light, and charges up a gigantic arrow. This arrow, once fired, is powerful enough to put holes in buildings, and burn all in it's path. Easily Sage's most powerful move yet.

■ Angellic Rage

Less of a super move, and more of a combo in which Sage uses all of their weapons. Sage starts with several slashes from their spear, finishing it with a stab. Before pulling out two blades and spinning around with two swords so fast that it can be hard to track Sage. For the finale, Sage hops backwards with their wings sprouted, creating a bow and arrow made out of light. Dramatically pausing for a second, Sage fires three arrows out of light into their foe.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Sage has a lot of offensive moves, and defensive moves. Both of which can make them quite the pain in the ass, but they suffer from one fatal weakness: their damage. They never had the highest damage output compared to the other Nomads that are running around, and this can be a problem when dealing with tankier foes. In addition, their main way of dealing damage mostly relies on chaining enemies into combos with their many starters. If they cannot get an enemy into a combo, then they probably aren't going to win that fight. Sage adapts, but there's only so much the Angel can do. Sage's ability is linked to their strength. Their hope, and passion, and their faith in God. In times of emotional distress, Sage's ability falters. While also being weak against dark/evil attacks.

Brooke is definitely energetic in appearance and demeanor. She just has that firey passion that'd let her take on even the meanest of villains, and come out on top. It isn't hard to tell that she is a Nomad right off the bat. Her body is in tip top physical condition due to years of practice and training, and uses that to pull off stunts and feats of acrobatics like no other. Brooke is also known for her trademark smile, in which she never loses (Unless shit gets real). Now, Brooke is a fairly muscular five-eight woman, with a 30C cup size. Just not the most feminine with her rather masculine-body type. She is part Welsh, part-Columbian, and part-Brazilian. She dresses lightly to preserve freedom of movement, a sports bra and gym shorts being her preferred outfit, while she carries an excessively large gym bag over her shoulder. Though, all of her sports bras are marked with the Dinosaur logo - which is the emblem of the Vanburen Martial Arts Studio.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Brooke was the daughter of two very well known martial arts, Vincent Vanburen, and Stella Decker. Back in the day, they were known as heated rivals in the tournament scene - but, behind the scenes, they had the biggest crushes on each other that were never acted on. Until one particularly large tournament where a grapple turned into a kiss, and the two made out on the tournament floor. Even though they were both disqualified, they became lovers ever since then. Eventually getting married, and settling down, having a daughter named Brooklyn Vanburen (and various other children who are not relevant).

To make ends meat, Vincent started a martial arts studio using his famous style, which he dubbed Vanburen Style. Vincent was known for his impenetrable defense, and how he punished foes who attacked carelessly. With few able to contend with him. The studio was fairly popular... and, of course, Brooke was roped into the studio at a young age, being personally trained by her father in the Vanburen karate. Eventually her ki grew as she did, until she had such an abnormally high-ki that her father wondered if she would exceed him. In turn, he taught her various tricks she could use that could expand her already powerful style.

She went to various low-level tournaments in which she dominated until she came across her first rival: Sierra Goodrich. To put it short, Sierra had a style that basically countered Vanburen karate in every single way imaginable. Every time the two fought, Sierra defeated Brooke, and eventually became the champion of the region. Brooke, annoyed, became disillusioned with Vanburen Style. Even though she received the black belt, it meant nothing to her knowing that she had an inferior style. If she was going to be the best, she needed the best style.

After a search, and much decisions, Brooke became a Nomad, heading out to search for ways to improve the Vanburen Family's Style by finding new and fresh styles to incorporate. Along with getting experience in tournaments to make a name for herself, and the Vanburen family style.

In her travels, she came across a few other Nomads... where she learned that quite a few of them have sizable bounties on them. She figured that it was time to make some dough in the progress!

FIGHTING STYLE

Brooke uses a martial art unique to this universe known as Vanburen Karate! It's a custom style invented by her father, that is a blend of Judo, Traditional Karate, Aikido, Jujutsu, Kick-Boxing, and Krav Maga, to create the ultimate self-defense fighting style. Brooke is a black belt in this style (recently being awarded title of master). This style empathizes defense above all else, and is about using your ki to create an impenetrable defense. Which is why most of the moves are for defending yourself from harm, rather than attacking enemies. The style uses tons of grapples, parries, and reversals, which lead into many hard hitting blows to vital areas. Which, given that Brooke has a ton of strength behind her attacks, will hurt like a bitch. She is very strong, and very durable, because of her high-ki, which allows her to fight evenly with a majority of opponents. Brooke has a knowledge of ki, and while she can't shoot fireballs, she uses her knowledge of ki to help her parry and deflect ki infused attacks.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Dinosaur Parry

Brooke briefly drops into stance, and puts her arm up. If a melee attack (Regardless of whether or not it's barehanded) hits her head on, she'll parry the attack, leaving her opponent open, and opens her up to do a variety of different moves.

■ Brachiosaurus Breaker

The Brachiosaurus Breaker is a grapple that is an over the shoulder throw that slams the opponent square into the ground if they throw a punch at Brooke. Regardless of size or weight, as Brooke is strong enough to lift even the strongest enemies.

■ The Pteranodon Wing-Breaker

A very simple move similar to the Brachiosaurus Breaker. Instead of requiring a punch, if someone tries to hit her from the air, she'll grab them and slam them into the ground.

■ Pterosaur Spin

If Brooke counters a kick, she can grab onto the limb, twirls them vertically like a helicopter, and then punches them.

■ Stegosaurus Kick

If Brooke counters a low attack, she grabs the limb, rolls over her opponent, and donkey kicks them with both legs. Sending them rolling.

■ Ankylosaurus Flurry

A counter to overhead or uppercut, attacks. She swipes the limb aside, and punches them in the groin with such force and fury that that it leaves a gigantic impact. Before she follows it up with another flurry of blows that'd leave even the strongest enemies staggering.

■ Iguanodon Charge

Brooke's anti-grapple move. If she is grappled in the middle of Dinosaur Parry, she will immediately break out of the grab, grapple them and run them into the nearest wall.

■ Triceratops Guard

A different stance than the Dinosaur Parry, one where Brooke drops her weight, and puts both of her arms up to defend her head. This stance is funneling her ki in front of her to create a shield, and instead of parrying the attack, Brooke tanks it. It isn't completely negating the damage, but it definitely lessons it.

■ Pteranodon Slayer

Brooke launchers herself straight up into the air with both hands outstretched, and grabs onto any airborne enemies. If she latches on, she brings the enemy to the ground in a roll, before locking her opponent in a chokehold.

■ The Roar

The Roar is Brooke's attack she uses to get opponents away from her. It's a powerful ki infused punch that creates a short of pseudo-projectile that moves a few feet in front of herself. Any opponent that gets hit with this will get launched away. Though, it doesn't do a lot of damage beyond that, and leaves her open.

■ Spinosaurus Roll

A grapple in which Brooke grabs onto an enemy, flips up into the air rolling, and slams them onto the ground hard.

SUPER MOVES

■ Shield of the Dino-God

The ultimate guard that Vanburen Karate has to offer. Brooke stops for a moment, and charges up her entire body with ki, creating a massive glowing green aura around herself. This Aura is a powerful guard that allows Brooke to negate even the strongest attacks. Though, it fades away after a few moments, or after getting hit with a powerful blow. However, she is capable of the same amount of mobility as she normally has.

■ Meteor Impact

A very simple move, Brooke parries an attack - but, then, kicks them up into the air, grabs onto her opponent, and charges up her entire body with ki, before slamming them down back to Earth hard as she can. Enough to create a crater!

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

The biggest flaw in Brooke's fighting style is that it specializes in defense, and playing passively, rather than being aggressive. Case in point, a majority of Brooke's hard hitting attacks, and starters depend on the enemy hitting her first. She isn't good at initiating combat, just reacting to it. She also has little options for closing in on opponents, thus she is a master of turtling, but not zoning. Brooke's various parries, and blocks don't exactly negate damage at all (Save for her super). She'll still get a little damaged from her parries, and blocks, even if it's a little bit. In addition, she needs to be holding still to do her defensive moves.

It isn't exactly hard to peg Brenda as a Nomad. She definitely has the look of adventure on her face, and on her being. Her face and knuckles are covered in bruises, and she just looks like danger. Brenda definitely stands out with her height alone, she's just huge. She stands at six-three, and is incredibly muscular with three trunk-like arms and legs, washboard abs, and a muscular back. With her short hair styled into an afro of sorts, she looks like a giant tomboy. Course, her feminine features makes it very hard to classify her as purely masculine. She has 40F breasts, and a matching behind. Her hips are wide, and her waist is fairly... fair. Which makes her figure look very good. She looks more like a bodybuilder. Brenda is Afro-Brazilian in terms of ethnicity. She is definitely %100 African in descent, but was born and raised in good old Rio.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Brenda was born in the good old city of Rio de Janeiro! However, Brenda had to grow up in the Favela. Which, between the rampant crime and straight up villainy, was not the safest place to be raised in. However, Brenda grew up in a family of Nomads- Er, former Nomads. They kept the fools at bay, and fascinated Brenda in the Nomad lifestyle. However Brenda wasn't the only person who fell in love with the Nomad lifestyle, her younger brother, André, also wanted to become a Nomad. Which is why André picked up MMA. Brenda, however, was more inclined with sports, than martial arts. She loved the sport of football, and played it to death. It's the reason why she got so muscular, and fit, because her passion was football.

Though, she kind of lacked a bit in the social area. She was dangerous blunt, and not too many people took too kindly to it. She eventually got into a few fights (that she lost). Eventually, she got annoyed, but a friend of hers invited her to a boxing lesson, which she gladly accepted. She actually got into boxing... she didn't know what it was about it, but she enjoyed the rush of boxing, rather than kicking a ball. Her ki developed, but Brenda's parents decided to let her in on a little family secret: their family's secret technique. It started out as a manipulation of ki, projecting it into the environment in order to manipulate it. This is known as "Gaia Style," and could work just fine with her boxing.

Brenda herself was impressed with the secret ability of her family... and was annoyed she wasn't told it earlier. Worst of all, her brother was taught it in the meantime, and had almost mastered it with his MMA style... but, André decided to leave Brazil in order to show the world that he's the next best Martial Artist in the world, becoming a Nomad.

This worried Brenda and her family... but, she decided to go after André before he hurt himself (Smelling something fishy about all of this). The only problem was that her family was poor, and she couldn't afford to go on a worldwide adventure.

However, a tournament is conveniently taking place in Rio...

FIGHTING STYLE

Brenda is a boxer. First picking up the sport as a hobby, then deciding to do it "professionally" (As far as Nomads go, that is). Her ki grew with her with every punch she threw until she became superhuman, and now her punches are deadly, and lightning fast. She gets in close to opponents, and then batters them with her ultra-quick fists. Piercing through their defense over time. Brenda's style is all about closing in on opponents, and staying there any means necessary. All of her attacks are fairly damaging. However, Brenda brings another tool to the table: Earth Manipulation. By using her ki, she can channel it into the Earth around herself, and control it. She mainly uses this control over Earth to infuse her strikes with even more power, but she's working around how to make things work.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Rock Breaker

Brenda's signature move, and the move that a majority of her moves are centered around. She throws a barrage of four quick, lightning-fast, punches, that are infused with Brenda's stone power. Rock Breaker can be finished with two different attacks.

■ Split River

Brenda quickly turns sideways, and delivers a punch to the midsection that knocks the enemy back.

■ Split Sky

Brenda spins, and punches her foe straight up into the air. From here, she has a brief window to combo.

■ Burning Right

Brenda rushes forward with a punch extended. She covers her fist in burning hot magma that leaks downwards as she covers the ground. The fist does a ton of damage.

■ Meteor Strike

A dive attack of sorts. Brenda jumps up into the air, and then lunges forward towards the ground with her fist extended. Hitting the ground like a rock, and doing loads of damage.

■ Rising Earth

Brenda punches the ground hard as she can, and makes a hunk of stone rise out of the ground for a moment (before it falls back in). In this brief window, the piece of earth can stop one attack (regardless of how strong it is) before crumbling into pieces. However, Brenda can also punch the stone, and turn it into a projectile.

■ Stone Spikes

Brenda punches the ground again, and creates a slow moving wave of earth that does several hits worth of damage, knocking the enemy back. However, it's very telegraphed.

■ Rolling Stone

Easily the simplest move in Brenda's arsenal. She merely rolls forward at the opponent, ducking underneath any and all of her opponents projectiles. She has a brief window to do any attack once it's over.

SUPER MOVES

■ Earth-Quake

Brenda dashes forward with a fist extended similar to Burning Right. If the punch connects, Brenda follows it up with a brutal left, then a barrage of lightning fast punches that lets her throw thirty punches in the span of a few seconds. She ends it with a lava-infused uppercut that launches the opponent into the sky.

■ Eruption

Brenda raises her fist up into the air, and charges her fist with lava. Before she punches the ground hard as she can, and creates a massive eruption of lava that blasts upwards. Causing enormous amounts of damage.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Brenda is a monster in her physical realm, but it comes with a lot of weaknesses. For starters, while she can get in close to opponents, a wide variety of her attacks are heavily telegraphed (Say everything but Rock Breaker), and somewhat slow. Which means a quick footed opponent can easily outwit her. Her ranged attacks are limited, and very easy to dodge (They're mostly just there to go the opponent to move). Finally, Brenda is very bad against opponents in the air (I.E fuckers who like to jump), as her options are very limited against them.

Yoko is a pureblooded Japanese woman. She has the facial features, and accent of a young woman who grew up in the Okayama Prefecture. Being a native of that city. Even though she originated in a nation that values politeness, she is very crass, and at times rude. Her facial features are fair, and rounded, but she has the look of an adventurer in her eyes. She has a large presence... with a small height (she's four-eleven, guys). Her black hair is kept in a bun, with a red clip in it... with a cowlick extending forward. She is definitely a Nomad... in case her outfit didn't give that away. Yoko wears the traditional gi of the Hatanaka family to battle. Which is a black leotard made out of a flexible material, with a white belt to hold it on, and a yellow jacket over her arms. The outfit compliments her legs (and backside) as they are on full display. While she's a bit lacking in the chest (which are 26A's), people say her well-toned legs make up for it.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Okay, over a hundred years ago, a massive war engulfed ancient Japan. Between the humans, and the Onis that they shared the nation with. Few know what actually sparked the war, as that was lost in time, but they felt the nation of Japan fall into disarray. Humans had numbers, but the Onis had raw strength. The war was in the favor of the onis, until a brave warrior named Hatanaka Takashi did the unthinkable... he ventured from Japan in search of a means to defeat them. He disappeared for years... before he returned with a sorceress from another land. This woman imprisoned the soul of the strongest Oni inside a sword. This sword was used to fight the war to a standstill, and a peace treaty was arranged between the two races; the Onis would claim the mountains as their own, while the humans get the rest of Japan.

This sword was revered as one of the many great Japanese treasures... Murakumo, the cursed blade of saviors.

Takashi bred a lineage of warriors, who were all trained in the ways of battle should another war with the Oni clan begin. While also keeping the ancient sword in safety. This lineage went from the father to the son, to the daughter... until Yoko was born. She was the latest line of warriors, and easily one of the brightest. However, before Yoko was even born, men came and stole Murakumo, raiding their compound. Her father, Hatanaka Goro, was killed in the raid. Leaving Yoko's grandfather to teach her all about the arts of the family.

However, her mother was left depressed and apathetic, and Yoko grew up angry that her father was taken from her. Her grandfather was probably not the best way to reign in Yoko's unruly behavior, and he kind of encouraged it. So, she kind of became a delinquent. In school, she would get into all sorts of trouble, and shamed the family's name at every turn... and generally an outcast. She just didn't gel with other people, but when she stepped inside her family's dojo, she felt at home. She was a talented martial artist, and a natural at the family's style. Her grandfather died just as her training was complete, and told her that she would be the defender of Japan.

But, his last dying wish was for Yoko to recover Murakumo, which Yoko promised to do. She felt proud... but then got a little bored. She was raised and trained to fight Onis, but they seemed content on their mountain. She was asked to find Murakumo, but she didn't have a single lead on it. So, Yoko would out to fight whoever the hell was out there to test her mettle, and make sure that when one of the two occurred, she'd be ready. From other martial artists, to samurais, and even Nomads that wandered in. She wasn't the best at this, but she prevailed in quite a few fights.

Soon, she learned that Murakumo had apparently been stolen by a foreigner, Jaden Raldo. Yoko didn't believe that Jaden was the one that stole it all those years ago, but she promised her grandfather that she would recover the sword. And God damn Yoko was going to do it. She prepared to set out, and live the life of a Nomad to find her family's sword...

... but a dark cloud fell over Japan.

FIGHTING STYLE

Yoko was trained to be a warrior from the youngest age possible. She was in fact trained in the ways of the Samurai, and many other martial arts. Her specialty being Bōjutsu. Thus, Yoko wields a massive bo staff made out of wood she carved herself to make the perfect weapon for her. Due to the length of her staff, it allows her to strike at quite the distance. In fact, her fighting style revolves around just staying in that sweet spot where she's out of the range of the enemy, and just in range to fight where they cannot. Her strikes with her bo staff are quick, and quite damaging. Her specialty seems to be attacks that catch opponents off guard. However, she can mix up attacks with some pretty fierce kicks, and this leads to her other strength: her defense. Yoko has a variety of counters and parries, that can make an opponent think twice about a wild offensive attack. Which makes Yoko quite the threat. As apart of her Oni-slaying training, Yoko can ki-sense. It can help her track targets over a wide radius.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Ritual Dance

Yoko's counter move, she'll step back, and hold her staff above herself at an angle for a moment.
If the opponent attacks, she'll deflect the move, leaving them open for a few moments.

■ Tsuru Wind

Using her ki, Yoko will charge her feet, and hop up into the air so fast she'll be hard to track. A moment later, she'll appear from above her opponent, and dive downwards with her staff extended. Almost landing on them.

■ Tanuki Spin-Roll

Yoko will propel herself upwards, doing a roll with her staff extended. If anyone is unfortunate enough to be in the air, they'll be smacked several times.

■ Dragon Dive

If Yoko is in the air, she will dive downwards with her staff extended.

■ Tatsu Dance

Another counter move. Yoko will slam her staff onto the ground, and if the opponent hits it, she'll quickly do a full spin around on her staff, and use the momentum to kick them.

■ Tsuru Dance

Yoko will quickly spin her staff around at speeds where it just looks like a ring. Switching hands back and fourth, and doing loads of damage. However, it leaves her very open to attacks aimed at her feet.

■ The Cat's Claw

Yoko will quickly stab forward multiple times in the blink of an eye with her bo staff, and leave her enemies staggered. It is good for continuing, or beginning a combo.

■ Cat Dance

Similar to the Tatsu Dance, Yoko will hop on top of her staff. Projectiles (and certain melee attacks) will simply pass through her staff as she sits perched on top of it (Like a weird bird!). While she's susceptible to upper-cut moves, she can hop vast distances on top of her staff. She can also initiate a combo by hopping off, and swinging it downwards for a powerful attack.

■ Wings of the Butterfly

An initiation technique where Yoko swings her bo staff upwards, and launches her opponents up into the sky. From here, she can continue a combo.

■ Double Crane Kick

Yoko quickly hops up, and does a double-cartwheel, as any low-hitting attacks simply miss. This attack hits the opponent overhead, and does a lot of damage. But, the attack is very telegraphed, and punishable.

■ Carp Dance

If Yoko's opponent gets too close, she can do a grapple move where she hops on their shoulders with both hands. Doing a handstand, before she swings around and kicks them in the back.

■ Komainu Dance

If Yoko catches an enemy off guard, and gets them from behind, she can choke them from behind with her staff (Pressing their neck with it). Then she'll roll backwards a few times, before she kicks them into the distance.

SUPER MOVES

■ The Divinities

Yoko suddenly dashes forward with a burst of speed, swiping at the enemy's leg. If she knocks them over,
she'll slam her staff onto the grounded opponent with both hands, charge her staff with ki, and pray. Causing an explosion of ki that does tremendous damage.

■ Dragon Dance

A counter move. If the opponent strikes her, Yoko will immediately counter by hitting them in the chin with her staff with such force it'll be flung upwards. Spinning as it gracefully falls to the ground. Yoko, in the meantime, barrages her opponent with a series of lightning fast kicks. Before kicking them both in the air, catching her staff, and hitting them into the ground.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

While Yoko has a lot of options, from mobility, to defense, she has a few problems. For starters, her damage is abysmal, and it requires a lot of well timed and precise strikes to bring down a Nomad. She may also get brought down in the process, because her health is also low. Not to the extent where a basic combo does tremendous damage, but she's a bit more fragile than the other characters.

"Ever since the dawn of time, there was an invisible force flowing through everyone... pure fighting spirit. Warriors that could train the mind, the heart, the body, and the soul, are capable of superhuman feats. Alright, vague opening spiel aside, welcome to World Warriors: The Nomadic Fist. An RP that I've been meaning to do for ages now and I'm just about tired of just throwing around ideas in my head, and want to put it in motion. This is basically a quirky, off-the-rails, world (Similar to One Punch Man, or Darkstalkers) in which supernatural warriors known as "Nomads" head out and engage in supernatural battles. Fueled by ki, magic, or technology, they fight for their own reasons, as they travel the world. This will be a an anime-themed Roleplay influenced by fighting games (In line with the Street Fighter movies). Not quite a PVP Roleplay, but will be a story driven Roleplay, where the players will be facing NPCs more than each other (To keep the fights between characters special). However, the world will be free-form, and there will be no solid lore, basically anyone freedom to create any form of character, or storyline, they please.

• A martial arts tournament being held in Japan is interrupted by the sudden appearance of the Oni Clan. They are angered for some reason, and decided to take their anger out on the people of Japan. However, the emperor of the Oni clan, Daichi, possesses power over weather strong enough to make it impossible to leave Japan. Which means that the Nomads in Japan have no choice but to deal with the Oni threat. But, is all what it seems?

Ki

Ki has a lot of different names (Fighting spirit, chakra, chi, or even life force) is an invisible force that flows through all life. Every human being, every animal, every plant. It's a preternatural and esoteric force, rather than a scientific energy. It empowers all life, and represents the strength any living being is able to muster. Most people have a small amount of ki (which is technically the average amount of ki), and thus, they display no abnormal abilities. But, a person that has a high amount of ki are capable of feats that are superhuman. Enhanced strength, durability, speed, agility, resilience, and healing. The more ki a singular human being has inside of themselves, the stronger they are. To the point where someone with high ki can stop bullets, and punch holes in walls with ease. As basically, ki supplies the user with a subtle shield that renders them difficult to damage by conventional means, and someone passionate enough may even extend it to their weapons. However, someone with a sufficient amount of ki is able to contend with them, as ki-based attacks can damage this barrier.

Ki can be increased by increasing someone's fighting spirit - in essence training the body and mind in various forms. The most common and renown way of enhancing ki is training in a martial art. Any martial art can enhance someone's ki to powerful levels. It was common knowledge until a few years ago that only Eastern Martial arts can build ki, but now boxing, and even fencing, is known to increase someone's ki. Even weapon's training can enhance ki, as it's raising "fighting spirit." It can take years upon years of training before someone can gain immense power. Which is why elders, with their bodies failing, are capable of some of the most impressive martial arts techniques.

Some people are born with a small amount of ki, while others are born with massive amounts. It depends on their ancestry, as someone's great ancestors can pass on their ki throughout the generations (They have to be dead for this to occur, however). The further they get away from their ancestors, the less ki they can be gifted with. However, long as a warrior trains, they never have to worry about their descendants running out of a natural supply of ki. However, if one descends from a magical being of some kind, then they will always have a naturally large amount of ki.

Ki can be applied in a variety of ways. The first and foremost way is someone being able to manipulate their own ki and focus it into various forms. Someone can give another person their ki in order to strength them, or, alternatively, heal their wounds. Ki can take the form of energy and matter that reflects their personality in some way, or even allow the user to manipulate elements around them. Such as a firey person may find shooting fireballs easier than blasts of water, or a strongwilled person may find manipulating wind hard. Now, someone isn't strictly confined to one element, depending on their style and inner-disposition, they may be able to manipulate a variety of elements. But, manipulating ki in it's purest form (I.E not converted into an element) is one of the hardest techniques someone can learn. It takes a master of many, many, decadess to learn how to manipulate their own ki, and it's a technique only reserved for the masters. Transferring ki is a basic technique, opposed to manipulating of it's purest form.

There is a very basic ki-to-ki technique that is known as sensing. It's only capable of being preformed by someone with the most basic knowledge of ki, and how it works, but it allows them to sense other sources of ki. Depending on practice, they can sense ki from miles from themselves. Master ki manipulators are so in tune with ki that they can sense everything connected to it. People with higher ki stand out, as they obviously have to be warriors of some kind. Though, anyone who senses ki can notice it's "temperature." Depending on someone's passion, motivation, and deposition, they can be "cold", or "hot." Someone driven entirely by negative emotions has a "cold" ki, someone who have passion have a "lukewarm" ki, while those with tune with ki, possess much wisdom, and are driven by self-betterment have "hot" ki.

Species

■ Humans.

Human beings that have not been technologically enhanced, or born a Magical Being, just baseline human beings. These human beings are far more reliant on their martial arts, and ki, creating a superhuman warrior. How humans beat the other two types is sheer potential; they can adopt any martial arts style, and learn how to use their ki in powerful ways. Possibly even enhancing themselves by dipping into the Technological and Magical fields.

■ Machines.

An umbrella term for Androids, Cyborgs, and so on, Machines are either artificial humans, or humans that have been altered. These beings existence is owed to the incredible scientific minds of the world, they may not even rely on ki. Some Machines are powerful enough to match ki-users. However, it's possible for a machine to use ki long as they are based around something living. For example; Cyborgs are capable of channeling their ki into their cybernetics as if it was a real limb. It's rare, but it is possible for a complete machine to be able to create ki.

■ Mythical Beings.

Mythical Beings are those explained by magic opposed to science. They have been around for eons now, far before the age of man, and come in all sorts of shapes and sizes (Vampires/Werewolves, Deities, Demons/Angels, Wizards, etc). In fact, they used to rule the world until something bad happened that pushed magic into obscurity. Now, they are an uncommon sight - the least common out of the three species. But, all Mythical Beings have an innate connection to ki, and are naturally ki abundant. It is possible for a Mythical Being to crossbreed with a human being in order to give the best of both worlds.

^{⋗ 2 . 2 |} Let me say now; the story will be pretty fast-paced at times (the way I enjoy them). If you don't think you can keep up with it, then I don't recommend joining. But, I will try not to leave people behind.

^{⋗ 2 . 3 |} Adding onto the above, the story will be a little messy with a lot of different storylines running alongside each other - with lots of characters. If you don't think you can handle that, then I don't think you should join.

^{⋗ 2 . 4 |} The Roleplay will have plenty of collaboration posts, as I think they are good for the pacing I desire. I heavily recommend you do collaboration posts for most of your interactions.

^{⋗ 2 . 5 |} All I ask for is one post a week. If it's been a week since your last post, your character will be placed into the inactive section until they are written off. Once a character is inactive however, they are officially an NPC, and can be used freely by the GMs, or the players.

^{⋗ 2 . 6 |} Despite being in the Advance section, I am not a sickler for post length. I'd rather have a meaningful paragraph, over a essay full of filler.

^{⋗ 2 . 7 |} Character death is a real possibility. By submitting a character, you understand that they have to take responsibility for their actions. They will not be bailed out by me, and may get injured or die. I won't jeopardize the story for one character. They can also be killed by other characters. I won't go out of my way to kill off any character - that I like - but I may injure them for the sake of the story.

^{⋗ 2 . 8 |} Romance/Sex/Whatever is allowed in the RP. "Fade to black" is so beaten into your heads by now that there's point in even repeating it.

^{⋗ 2 . 10 |} While this RP is based upon anime, it's not an arena RP. It's mostly supposed to be a light-hearted RP in which people can use creative/fun ideas and have fun in a zany world. If you're one of those "play to win" dudes, go home.

^{⋗ 2 . 11 |} As far as fights go, try to plan them out to the best of your ability so we don't make things too confusing, and don't have arguments over the outcome. Once again, this isn't a game.

^{⋗ 2 . 12 |} If you're also expecting me to hold your hand every step of the way, then you're going to be disappointed. This is going to be an RP that rewards taking initiative, and starting plotlines of your own. I'll provide a storyline, but I'm not going to be railroading everyone.

^{⋗ 2 . 13 |} As for the fights between characters, we'll be going for a very simple rule: whatever is more interesting for the story. That means, instead of trying to make your character the winner, you should decide what would be the most interesting story to write. What would make the most interesting character developments, etc. Wish I didn't have to overtly say it, but I feel it necessary.

3. Character Creation Rules

^{⋗ 3 . 1 |} When you make a character; I want some interesting and creative ideas. I'm not saying that everyone has to be the most unique thing on the planet, but don't just make your character bland. Think outside the box. There's all sorts of potential and possibilities for making new characters, don't be that one guy who just makes boring characters for the sake of being badass, be quirky for once.

^{⋗ 3 . 2 |} If your goal is to basically make the strongest/best character, and try to "win" the Roleplay, let me stop you here and say you won't get far. This is a story, not a place for you to wank your OP self-insert. Nothing says "I'm a bad writer" to me than giving your character the strongest abilities (along with an asston of skills). As I said above, I am very critical, and will not hesitate to ask you to change whatever I dislike about your character sheet.

^{⋗ 3 . 3 |} As for the lore... I left it a blank slate for a reason. I designed it so that everyone has something to work, but are able to build up a lore with all the writers here. If you want to make up an event, organization, or etc, go ahead. I implore you.

^{⋗ 3 . 4 |} There is no character limit, you can, and are encouraged, to make as many characters as you can handle. Just don't get stupid.

Jaden certainly has a presence to him. He's tall (at six-five), muscular, and confident. He has the ability to draw the attention of an entire crowd with his voice alone. Though, he definitely has that cockiness to him, from that shit-eating grin, to the way he walks. Jaden is a loud, and spastic person that definitely hard to predict, yeah. One could easily identify him as a Nomad from his attire - mostly the blades that he carries around on his being, and pouches. He has two katanas strapped to his back, his two mainstay weapons, and a larger katana at his waist, a sword given to him by a friend. And his most important weapon on his other hip... his mic. He definitely looks like trouble, but fortunately, he's on the side of the good guys (in his own special way). Jaden usually wears jeans, or slacks of some kind, with a T-shirt. Jaden is definitely African-American, with his dark-skin, thick lips, and African skull shape. He speaks with a thick urban accent.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

Jaden was born in the good old city of Philadelphia! Where they signed Declaration of Independence, fitting for a dude like Jaden who loves his freedom! Jaden was born to a wealthy family that had tons of oversea business to attend to, and that meant lots of traveling for the Raldo family. Though, Jaden was a particularly rowdy kid growing up. Getting into all sorts of danger and confrontation growing up, all over the world, baby! This lead him to being restricted from going along with his parents, and instead confined to his family's mansion in Philadelphia. And the family's servants were instructed to keep him contained at all costs. They could barely hold him back. It was instead decided that he needed an outlet for his energy.

They contacted an old friend of theirs... Sensei Hirokazu. Hirokazu was a ninjutsu master that was a good friend of Jaden's father. After bribing him with a lot of money, they got him to take Jaden under their wing, and train him, and otherwise keep him out of trouble. And after a few really good Japanese language classes, Jaden was whisked away to Japan.

At first, Jaden was annoyed that he was sent to live with some old fart, then he warmed up to the idea of becoming a Ninja! Until he realized that being a ninja was a lot of work, he had to do all sorts of arduous training. From meditating in the woods, to meditating in the dojo, to meditating on top of a mountain. There was so much meditation, and so little cool ninja stuff. However, this training was helping Jaden develop his ki, and in a manner of a few years, Jaden had developed a load of ki. And the results of his training had turned Jaden into a very competent ninja, a master of stealth and badassery.

However, while he was training under Sensei, he learned about Ki, and what it is. Sensei told him about his own innate ki, and tried to teach Jaden one of the first steps to manipulating ki, sensing. It was a basic technique to Sensei, but a challenge for Jaden.

He was told to look into himself for the answers to his question of why he can't learn Ki. Sensei sent Jaden to places to live alone until he overcomes the hurdles inside of himself and become one with the world. From the Brazilian Amazons, to Siberia, Jaden was forced to survive alone, and meditate, as he takes the first steps to mastering ki. The epiphany came to him upon being sent to the African Sahara, and sensed a pack of hyenas... dispatching the hyenas, Jaden realized that he has learned to sense ki itself.

Returning to Japan, Jaden was congratulated for his discovery, and was accepted into the next level of his Ninjutsu training. Jaden felt proud of himself, but began to grow dangerously arrogant. At this stage, Jaden was sent on actual missions by his Sensei, basically behind the scenes peacekeeping. Such as defeating local crime-lords, and stealing stolen artifacts.

But, everything changed once his Sensei told him to retrieve an ancient weapon from one of his old rivals: Jotaro. The weapon was the legendary sword Murakumo, stolen decades ago. The relations between Hirokazu and Jotaro stemmed from the time they were mere students of the same master, and Jotaro killed their master to steal the legendary sword. It was a task of the utmost importance, and Jaden was instructed to never use the sword under any circumstance. He took it seriously as he usually does; not at all.

Infiltrating his compound in the mountains was easy... but, he blew it at the last second, and revealed himself to Jotaro. He got viciously thrashed by the ninja master until he grabbed the legendary blade Murakumo for himself, and slashed Jotaro with it. The overwhelming power of the sword allowed Jaden to defeat Jotaro with one slash... only to lose himself to the sword. He went on a rampage, destroying the compound with the blade. After his rampage was cover, he managed to collect himself, and realize what he's done.

He darted back to his Sensei's compound... only to find his Sensei, Hirokazu, dead, with a blade driven through his heart. Jaden quickly left, only to find out that he's been framed for the theft of Murakumo all those years ago, and found Japanese authorities coming after him. He escaped from Japan with Murakumo... but, there was a few questions that Jaden had. Starting with who framed him even though Jotaro and his goons were beaten to a pulp? Along with who killed Hirokazu.

With assassins and various other warriors after them, Jaden ultimately decided to become a Nomad. He became a roaming warrior that did work for the highest bidder... but kept his principles above all else. He refused to harm innocent people, instead just go after other crooks. While searching for clues as to who his master's killer was (so far he's found absolutely nothing).

All while promoting his killer rap album, "Taste the Sword."

FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES

FIGHTING STYLE

Ninjutsu, baby! Jaden is practically a ninja. Jaden employs a modified version of it that makes good use of his high-ki. Jaden uses it to zip around the battlefield, doing hops, flips, and even teleporting! To put it simply; Jaden possess a lot of high-mobility techniques that lets him close in on opponents, while having plenty of hard hitting moves that take the enemy out quickly. Though, Jaden uses less stealth and discipline, and more of the heavy hitting moves. Such as kicks, chops, and more importantly, Jaden's swords. He doesn't carry around those katanas for show! He knows how to use those blades really well, and slices with speed and precision to cut stone. Jaden can also channel his ki into these blades to increase their strength and durability. Whenever Jaden uses this technique, he infuses the blades with ki, and they are surrounded with light. Now, Jaden also possesses the legendary Japanese sword Murakumo... which is a powerful weapon infused with a lot of ki, but there is a spirit residing inside of it. Should Jaden use it, he will lose himself... but, he'll have amazing strength. Jaden also knows the ki-sense technique.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ Teleportation

Jaden's main method of getting around. By focusing, doing the Japanese salute, he can teleport to a specific point in a poof of smoke. It takes a few moments for Jaden to get ready to teleport, so he can't exactly use it to evade attacks unless he's fighting the world's slowest enemy. Should he teleport behind an enemy, he can follow it up with an attack or a slash of his blades.

■ Judo-Flip

Jaden can suddenly flip up into the air, rolling as he comes to the ground. In the middle of this technique, he can follow it up with a kick, a grapple, or a downward slash of one of his swords.

■ Dive-Kick

Jaden infuses the end of his foot with ki as he launches himself straight at an opponent. It's great for clearing distance on enemies.

■ Knife-Hand

A simple technique, he infuses his hand with a lot of ki, and swings it horizontally, or vertically, in a wide arc. He uses this technique in his many combos.

■ Disguise

Jaden can disguise himself as a random object if he makes himself small as possible, and focus. He can only maintain a disguise for a few moment.

■ Decisive Blow

Jaden uses both of his blades to dash forward, and stab his foe, should both blades connect, he follows this up by hopping on them, and stabbing them with both blades.

■ Flash-Blades

Jaden infuses his blades with ki, and slices with both of them faster than what the eye can see in an X motion.

■ Whirlwind

Jaden grabs both his blades, and spins around, while jumping upward. It's enough to take enemies out that are above him, while also getting enemies up into the air.

SUPER MOVES

■ The Legendary Blade

Jaden pulls out Murakomo, and feels the ki flowing through his body. He raises the sword up into the air, and slices the air, creating a powerful ki wave that'll devastate foes.

■ Take the Sword

Jaden slashes with both blades in an X motion similar to his flash blades, but, once the blades connect, Jaden will barrage his foe from all directions. Stabbing them, slashing them, as Japanese Kanji appears above them created by his ki. When he is finished, he'll use Murakumo for one final slash.

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Jaden's attacks, while fast and damaging, leave him open, as he's trying to use a fighting style that wasn't meant for up front fights. If he misses, or an opponent blocks, they can definitely capitalize on it and string him into a combo. Jaden is also very cocky, and the type to rush head first without thinking. Not exactly a thinker, but more of a doer. The legendary blade Murakomo also possesses a powerful demon inside of it. If he uses it for more than one slash, he'll slip, and lose himself to the demon in the blade.

Alright, vague opening spiel aside, welcome to World Warriors: The Nomadic Fist. An RP that I've been meaning to do for ages now and I'm just about tired of just throwing around ideas in my head, and want to put it in motion. This is basically a quirky, off-the-rails, world (Similar to One Punch Man, or Darkstalkers) in which supernatural warriors known as "Nomads" head out and engage in supernatural battles. Fueled by ki, magic, or technology, they fight for their own reasons, as they travel the world. This will be a an anime-themed Roleplay influenced by fighting games (In line with the Street Fighter movies). Not quite a PVP Roleplay, but will be a story driven Roleplay, where the players will be facing NPCs more than each other (To keep the fights between characters special). However, the world will be free-form, and there will be no solid lore, basically anyone freedom to create any form of character, or storyline, they please.
